Setups like that remind me of books by Laura Ingalls Wilder when she talks about the "Little House in the Big Woods," or "Little House on The Prairie"

I used to read books like that, and envision what it was like with a WARM Fire, Ma cooking Food on the Stove, Pa trudging through the ENDLESS amounts of snow, and the family just enjoying time together.  It reminds me of spending a holiday or two  at the family cabin in Stannard VT, with my Uncle Warren, Aunt Irene, Cousins Jennifer and Warren III - and a bunch of friends.  This year, its just Mike, and me here at the house, and we have family visiting others, but we will always stay close :)
