She didn't break any laws. She didn't do anything people wouldn't normally do in their universe. I know it's difficult, but she won't face justice for what she did. But she seems to want to make amends and change her ways at least.

It makes sense in the context of the universe.

If I were Sarah or Dylan though I would probably not be going to the wedding. But I can't know their thoughts and feelings though so I guess we'll see what happens.

Chapter 63: Dinner with Parents

“Liv, go set the table. They’re going to arrive soon.” Charlie shouted.

“Kay!”

I toddled off into the kitchen to gather the cutlery and place settings needed to set the table for us and our guests tonight.

‘Two of us, Mum, Dad, and Charlie’s parents. Six. Oh wait... where on the table am I going to put them? Across from each other? At other ends of the table? Next to each other? WHERE DO CHARLIE AND I SIT? AHHHH!’

Sensing I was panicking internally, Charlie wrapped her arms around me and held me close.

“Shhhhh baby. What’s up?”

“I... where is everyone going to sit?”

“How about my parents and I on one side, you and your parents on the other? It may give them a nice barrier to feel a bit more safe and comfortable, whilst not keeping them too far away that it’s too much.”

“Ummm.... otay.”

“Baby... grown up voice today, okay sweetheart?”

“Ooops. Sorry! Slipped out.”

I blushed and carried on gathering the things I needed, letting Charlie get back to preparing our dinner.

As I placed the knives and forks in the correct positions, I couldn’t help but smell the food being cooked. Stew and dumplings, one of my favourite meals. Charlie was not only cooking it for my benefit, but also for my parents. They loved traditional home cooked meals. I wasn’t sure if her parents would enjoy it, but she assured me they would.

The doorbell rang.

“Well someone’s here. Why don’t you go answer the door and invite them in?” Charlie said from the kitchen.

Putting the last spoon in place, I quickly ran over to the door, straightening my cute rockabilly dress and reaching for the door handle.

“Well don’t you look gorgeous?” said Charlie’s Mum.

“Thank you Mrs Williams. Might I say, you both look wonderful tonight.”

“You don’t have to butter me up, love. I’m already one of your biggest supporters!” her Dad joked.

“Well I’m not going to turn down a compliment! Anyway Olivia, you’re engaged to my daughter, I think we can drop the formalities. Call me Moira, please.”

“Thank you Moira, Jacob. Please come in. Can I take your coats?”

“Sure dear, but be careful.”

I blushed as I took their coats, hanging them up as best I could in the closet to the side. Moira seemed so much different since last time I saw her, she seemed genuinely happy to be here.

“Please follow me, Charlie is just finishing up cooking. My parents haven’t arrived yet, but they should be here soon.”

I showed them into the dining room, showing them to their seats. I poured them some drinks and skipped into the kitchen, closing the doors behind me.

“Your parents are here!” I called over to Charlie.

“They comfortable? They okay so far?”

“Yeah. First name basis now and everything.”

“Wow, they really have changed. Well why don’t you...”

The doorbell rang.

“Never mind, go show your parents in. I’ll be through in a second to greet everyone and make sure a fistfight doesn’t occur.”

Skipping down the hallway, I opened the door to see my parents stood there, nervous.

“Mum, Dad. You don’t have to be so nervous you know.”

“Hey, we only know a few Amazons. We trust you and Charlie though... so let’s go.”

“Look, they used to be typical Amazons. But they’ve changed. I promise. And Charlie is here to make sure nothing happens.”

“Okay love.” My Mum said as I showed them both in, taking their coats and hanging them up. I had an easier time with my parents’ coats; they weren’t as large or heavy.

As I opened the door to the dining room, Charlie’s parents suddenly stopped talking to each other and had their eyes on us.

“Mum, Dad, this is Moira and Jacob, Charlie’s parents. Moira, Jacob, this is my Mum, Mary, and my Dad, Peter.”

“Nice to meet you both!” Moira said, surprisingly enthusiastically.

“Umm... Hi. It’s... nice to meet you too.” My Mum said. I could tell she was still scared of Amazons, she was a bit reluctant to go further and sit down.

Thankfully my Dad was a bit more confident, so he pushed her slightly in until she gave in and sat down.

Both Dads looked at each other for a second with straight faces.

Thankfully they smiled and nodded at each other. They got talking about golf and sports and everything, as if they had been friends for years.

Our mothers on the other hand...

I could see Moira wanted to be as friendly as possible, this was her first time socialising with a little in a long time. But my mother was reserved and hesitant to open up, causing a rift between the two.

I sat down next to my mother. I didn’t know what to say or do. Then Charlie, our saviour, strolled in through the doors.

“Evening Mum, Dad. Evening Mrs Clarke, Mr Clarke.”

“First names please. We’re going to be family soon.” My Mum said.

“Okay then Mary, thanks. How are we all tonight?”

Both Dads said they were good.

Both Mums nodded their heads and smiled.

Charlie must have noticed the tension, so she quickly rushed over to me and reached down.

“What’s up with those two?” she whispered to me.

“Your Mum is being really nice and friendly. My Mum is still a bit too nervous.” I whispered back.

“I’ve got an idea. But I do apologise babygirl...”

I gave her my most confused face as she stood up straight and looked at our mothers.

“SO! Mary, Mum. Do you want to see some adorable pictures of Liv dressed up in some of the cute outfits we had to make her wear whilst we were doing the whole baby thing?”

“CHARLIE!” I shouted.

She gave me ‘that look’ and I instantly backed down.

“Oooh yes please!” My Mum said excitedly, starting to open up. This surprised me, I never thought my Mum would want to see me like that!

“As long as Olivia doesn’t mind. I turned over a new leaf... but I can’t help but think how cute she’d look.” Said Moira.

“....Fine. It’s okay with me. I’ll go make sure dinner doesn’t catch fire.” I grumbled.

As Charlie brought out her phone, placing it between my mother and hers, I walked into the kitchen. There was no way I was going to watch both our mothers gush over me dressed like a baby. Especially seeing as they have no idea we still dress me up like that. For fun.

The last thing I saw as I closed the kitchen doors was a picture of me in a yellow sun romper with matching wide brimmed hat and ridiculously oversized sunglasses.

“Please let me die.” I joked as I went to check dinner.

I stayed in the safety of the kitchen for a good 20 minutes or so. Dinner was almost about done, and I wanted to stay the hell away from the mix of laughter, ‘awws’ and babytalk coming from the other room. Although muffled, I heard a lot of uses of the word ‘adorable’.

The timer went off.

“Charlie! Need your help in here!”

The doors opened and Charlie entered, leaving our mothers to gossip about how cute I looked in some of the outfits she had made me wear.

“Did you tell them that those pictures are from this year?”

“No. But I think they figured it out. Don’t worry, no one’s saying a thing.”

Oh great. Anyway, dinner is ready. Want me to help plate it up?”

“Nah, you’ve been a good girl. Go back in the other room for a couple of minutes whilst I plate it up. You’re going to go bright red when our mothers start gushing over you!”

Too late. My face was already bright red as I entered the dining room, sitting shyly next to my mother.

“Oh Liv, you look so adorable as a baby!” Moira stated.

“I agree. I know the thought of that life for you scares the hell of out me, but knowing you’re doing it willingly with your fiancé makes it a lot easier to accept.”

“Wait... umm... those are from last year.” I lied.

“Shhhh.” My Mum patted my head. “We both know that’s not true.”

My face must have been as bright as the sun with the amount of blushing I was doing.

“Mary! Leave the poor girl alone. She’ll die from embarrassment. What our daughters get up to in the privacy of their own home isn’t any of our business.”

“As long as we get to see the cute baby pictures later?” My mum joked.

Exactly!” Moira smiled.

I slammed my head down on the table, trying to hide my blushy face.

The doors opened and Charlie entered with plates of food, setting one in front of each of us. Her side of the table all got massive plates of food with multiple dumplings, my side got one dumpling and a much smaller side plate. But to be honest, this was the perfect size for us, so there were no complaints from our side.

Charlie sat down next to her mother, across the table from me. We weren’t at the same height whilst sat down, but the tall chairs we were sat on were made especially for us to make it so we at least didn’t feel so small compared to our Amazon counterparts.

Charlie raised her glass and everyone listened.

“Thank you for joining us this evening. It’s been a long road getting here. And that’s not to say the future will be easy, but I really appreciate everyone’s effort and hard work getting to this point. We have overcome fears and personal differences, prejudices and lifetimes of separation. It genuinely means the world to Liv and I that you can be here tonight, and be so accepting, loving and supportive. So thank you.”

We all clinked our glasses of wine, saying cheers, before getting stuck in to our dinner.

After dinner we retreated to the living room.

My parents took the edge of the sofa closest to the recliner where Charlie and I sat. Charlie’s parents took the other end of the sofa.

Charlie had sat on the recliner and indicated me to climb up onto her lap. I was a bit hesitant, but I climbed up eventually, getting comfortable and snuggling up to her.

We chatted about the country, society, politics, everything. Everyone seemed to be having a really good time just chatting and drinking.

That’s when my Dad sat up and did something unforgiveable.

“How about we play a game? Like charades?”

“Nooooo!” I said.

Charlie quickly put her finger on my lips and smiled.

“That sounds like a lot of fun! I think I’ve got some paper to write them down.”

And so... we played charades with our parents. We split up into two teams, Amazons and littles.

It was so embarrassing watching my parents act out all the different things they had been given. Not as embarrassing as the baby photos being shown earlier, but still pretty bad. I’m not sure I’d ever forget this.

But hey, they were having a good time and that’s all that mattered. I could withstand some embarrassment if it meant our parents got along and everyone was happy.

That was until Charlie had to get up.

She took her word and smiled.

I knew that smile.

That smile was usually my downfall.

“Ready? Go!” her dad called out.

She instantly pointed at me.

“BABY!” was shouted out.

Not by a single person.

But by everyone.

Including my own team!

I grabbed the cushion and covered my face.

“I’m never coming out now.”

“Sorry, she gets cranky when she’s not had a nap.”

I growled into the cushion before going completely silent. Eventually the game carried on and I felt it was safe to come out again.

Charlie gave me a kiss and instantly everything was better again.

“Couldn’t resist, my love.”

“I’ll get you back for that...” I smiled.

After our parents had left, both sets thanking us for such a wonderful time, Charlie closed the front door and ran over to me, picking me up and kissing me all over my face.

“Now petal, how about we get you padded and snuggled up with Mummy and we have some time to ourselves before bed?”

I nodded happily and snuggled against my fiancé as she carried me upstairs.

“And no late night tonight, okay sweetheart? You’ve got a busy day tomorrow, you’ve got your dress shopping appointment. Big girl day tomorrow. Then back to baby the day after whilst I’m out. Eliana will be babysitting you whilst I’m out at least. She’s been so excited to babysit you! But that’s then. Let’s get you padded and snuggled up, I think baby needs feeding.”

I blushed and nuzzled into her.

It must have been almost a year ago that Charlie met her mother. I really wonder what happened during that time. Because a change like that doesn't happen overnight.

I'm curious how Sarah and Dylan will react to her at the wedding.

Can someone please help me out who is Eliana?

Looking forward to more chapters.

She will have read the book at least 7 months ago. And she's been making progress, Charlie has been checking in with that. You'll find out how they react :)

Eliana is the daughter of Luigi, the owners of the Italian restaurant. She's Liv's oldest friend, the one from her childhood. She said she wanted to babysit back in the restaurant the year before :P

Thank you! Not many more chapters to go now! Only this week and next week to go!

Chapter 64: Dress Shopping

“Ready ladies?” Eve said, looking around the car.

"Yeah!” Zoey and Sarah said from the back of the car in unison. They were both in car seats but were wearing reasonably mature outfits for once. You could still tell both of them were thickly padded, but none of us would tell them that.

Eve looked to her side, where my mother and I were sitting. We were sat in booster seats and only one of us was wearing a nappy. And it certainly wasn’t my mother.

Charlie had come up with the good, but blushy, idea that I be thickly padded under my wedding dress. Our ceremony was going to be a long day, and it would be difficult to get to the bathroom in a wedding dress. Plus she wanted to hear me crinkle down the aisle apparently.

We both knew no one would be able to hear it, but she loved teasing me anyway.

So here I was, in a nappy underneath a normal looking dress, dressed very much like Zoey and Sarah right now, just so that whilst I try on wedding dresses, we can be sure that it accommodates the padding.

-------------------------------------------------

We pulled up at the dress store and Eve helped us all out.

I couldn’t help but giggle, because it really did look like a daycare worker taking a bunch of littles on a walk. At least we were all dressed like adults for this!

I looked at the shop front. It was a nice place, I had heard good things about it. At first I was a bit hesitant about going, but Charlie reassured me that this was the sister store to the main Amazon dress shop further in the city.

Apparently two friends, one Amazon and one little, decided to go into business together, just like Malcolm and I did. But whilst I have a lazy do-nothing for a partner, they were both skilled seamstresses.

They had decided to open two stores, one for Amazons in the city, and one for littles on the outskirts. You could find similar styles in both, but in sizes that fit their target audience. Charlie had booked her appointment tomorrow with the other store, and had booked mine for today here, at the littles one.

I had suggested that I just make my own dress, but she insisted that I go dress shopping, that it was a special thing she wanted me to do. Plus my mother really wanted to watch me try on dresses, so I eventually gave in.

“Hi there! You must be the Williams-Clarke party?” said a smartly dressed little in the doorway.

“That’s us.” I said.

“We’ve been expecting you. Please come in.”

We followed the woman into the shop and we were shown to a sitting area in front of a large set of mirrors.

“Why don’t you have a seat. We’ve been told by your fiancé of all the details. I understand she hasn’t given a price range?”

“That’s right. She said just get whatever I fell in love with.”

“Well hopefully we’ll find you something to that standard. Why don’t you have a look through the dresses on display and pick out a few to start with? I’ll go fetch some drinks.”

She turned to Eve.

“Umm... I hate to ask, but which littles can have alcohol and which can’t? I don’t know who is adopted and who isn’t, this is a very unusual wedding.”

Eve laughed. “Tell me about it! Anyway, I am technically only Mummy to Zoey. But Sarah... Okay, we’ll have 2 juices and 3 champagne please.”

“Of course Ma’am. Also feel free to put some music on. The shop is yours for a while, so make yourself comfortable.”

Sarah started pouting, knowing full well she was the other one who was getting juice, despite her not technically being adopted. But Zoey gave her a kiss on the cheek and Sarah forgot all about it.

I tried on dresses for a good hour or so, getting mixes of ‘umm’s and ‘ahh’s, with the occasional ‘ooh’s.

None of them seemed right.

And the worst part? I needed to pee.

As I tried on dress number... hell, I lost count at this point, Eve walked up to me and leaned down.

“Just let go sweetie, I’ve got a spare nappy, I’ll change you if you want in the changing room.”

I nodded and let go, flooding my nappy.

The warmth spread and I temporarily lost myself in the moment.

“Just one second, Liv needs a bit of help with this dress. Be right back.” Eve said, pushing me into the changing room.

Eve helped me out of the dress, putting it back on the hanger and handing it back to Jodie, the shop owner.

“Right, lay down sweetie. Let’s get this over and done with.”

I nodded and sat down on the bench.

As Eve pulled out a nappy, I couldn’t help notice myself fall slightly into babyspace.

“Hun... do you need your dodie?” Eve asked.

‘How did she... umm...’

“....pwease.”

Eve pulled out a dummy from the bag.

“Charlie packed this for me. She knew you’d need at least a change during it, but she must have figured you’d need your dummy at some point. Don’t worry, I understand. I noticed because this is how Zoey is with me. And lately Sarah too...”

‘Sarah has a headspace? This I’d have to look into!’

Eve went about changing my nappy, putting me in a clean one and helping me stand up.

“Want the dummy in or not?”

I really didn’t want the dummy to stay in. At least not if I had to keep trying on dresses. But...

“No.” I said dejectedly.

“Well when we’re done here, I’m putting it in, okay? I can see that you want it.”

I gave her a small smile and she helped me put the next dress on.

“Oh my!” Eve exclaimed.

I looked at myself in the mirror.

I had found it. I had found the dress.

As I walked out to show the rest, I saw their faces light up.

“LIV! THATS THE ONE!” Zoey yelled.

“Yeah, you look pretty hot in that.” Added Sarah.

“You look perfect love.” My Mum said.

Eve walked over and sat next to my Mum. My Mum leaned over and whispered to her.

“Was she?”

“Soaked.”

“I figured. Thank you for taking care of that. It would have been weird if I had done it.”

“Anytime Mrs Clarke. I’m always here for Liv, however she needs me.”

I couldn’t tell what they were talking about, but they kept looking over at me. So I had a good idea...

-------------------------------------------------

Now it was Charlie’s turn to go dress shopping.

Starting the day with babyspace, she got me dressed into an adorable little onesie and thick nappy. She nursed me in the morning, and then spoon fed me some yummy homemade baby food for lunch.

Now though... she was off to go try on dresses. And my babysitter had arrived at the front door.

“One second baby, I’m just going to let Eliana in.”

She left me in a baby walker in the living room, squirming and blushing as I dreaded Eliana seeing me like this.

‘I can’t believe Charlie got me a babysitter! And Eliana of all people!’

“Look at how precious she is!” Eliana squealed from the doorway.

“Isn’t she just?” Charlie said, walking over to me.

Squatting down in front of my walker, she looked me in the eye.

“Baby, I’ll be gone for a few hours. I’ve told Eliana your limits and what she’s to do with you whilst I’m out. You be a good girl okay?”

“I’m always a good girl!”

“Yes you are, so I’ll see you later. If you’re super duper good, I’ll bring you back a present!”

I clapped my hands excitedly as Charlie grabbed her bag and headed out of the house, waving at me. I waved back at her. She winked at Eliana as she closed the front door.

“Well, little Livie, ready to have some fun?” Eliana asked.

“Ummm... wha we gonna do?”

“Well first you’re going to play in your walker whilst I have a sit down. I want to enjoy seeing you so happy and babyish.”

“Hmph.”

“Don’t pout! You look adorable like this, and you want to be super duper good for your Mummy, right?”

“Fine!”

I stuck my tongue out at her.

“Strike one honey. Be careful with that tongue of yours!”

I quickly retracted it and covered my mouth with my hands.

“That’s better. Now enjoy yourself. I’m not a mean babysitter. But I will make you drink from a bottle later whilst in my arms. I’ve been dying to do that since I first saw you in that cute baby outfit back at the restaurant.”

I nodded and she sat down, flicking on the TV. I went about playing with the little fiddly bits on the walker.

It didn’t take long for me to get bored. At one point I started trying to run laps around the living room, but it took so long just to do one I quickly gave up.

“Want to play with your toys upstairs? Or do you want a snuggly nap?”

I thought about it for a second.

“Nap pwease.”

“Want a baba to help you feel a bit drowsy for it? It’s your Mummy’s milk.”

“Pwease!”

Eliana got up and walked into the kitchen, retrieving a bottle of milk from the fridge. When she walked back into the room, she pulled me out of the walker and carried me over the sofa, sitting down and settling me in her arms.

“Yeah I’m a bit tired too. Been working all night at the restaurant and I barely got any sleep. So how about we have a little nap, and then I can go watch you play in your nursery?”

I nodded and she fed me the bottle.

The drowsiness, alongside the exhaustion from trying to run around in that walker, meant I was out in no time.

-------------------------------------------------

I woke up suddenly.

I swear I had heard a smash. Like a window breaking.

I looked down, Eliana was still fast asleep.

I could hear footsteps.

I carefully and quietly climbed over Eliana, trying not to wake her as she may make a noise, alerting any possible intruders that we were here.

Climbing down, I made no sound as my thick cotton booties gracefully danced over the wooden floor.

The noise sounded like it was coming from the kitchen...

I crept down the hallway to the kitchen, making sure not to make any noise, even taking extra care not to breathe too heavily. Which was difficult as my heart was beating like crazy.

As I got to the door, it suddenly swung open.

“There you are. Come here!”

That’s when I recognised where I knew that face! The restaurant! It was the LSS guy who had tried to grab me that night Charlie lost me!

Charlie had told me how he was corrupt and sold littles into adoption centres and stuff, and that she had gotten him arrested. He must have escaped custody or something and is now out for revenge I can only assume.

I grabbed the door and swung it back into his face, causing him to fall backwards clutching his nose.

“You little fuck! I... I think it’s broken!”

I turned and ran for Eliana. I needed to get both of us to safety.

Problem was, the booties had no grip on them on these hardwood floors, and I fell face first onto it.

I pushed through the pain that was now radiating from my forehead, and I pulled the booties off, throwing them across the hallway.

Getting up onto my feet, I ran for the living room as I saw him enter the hallway, his nose bleeding and wonky.

“ELIANA!” I yelled, running for the living room.

Eliana appeared from the doorway, suddenly in shock.

“Liv? What’s happening?”

“Intruder!”

“Finally! Get behind me!” she said, grabbing me and throwing me into the living room.

I could see him get closer and closer, he was furious at this point.

He got within a foot of Eliana and lifted his fist up.

That’s when the front door bust open and four police officers stormed the place.

Before I could see what happened, Eliana grabbed me and ran for the sofa, diving onto it and shielding me.

All I could hear was some kind of struggle, but it sounded like they caught him.

My heart was racing, I was still in shock and couldn’t process anything. Not until I heard Charlie calling for me from the hallway.

“LIV? WHERE ARE YOU?”

“I... I’m in here!” I yelled.

Charlie ran into the living room and grabbed me from Eliana, pulling me in and hugging me as tight as she could.

“Baby, I’m so sorry. I wasn’t expecting him to get that close to you!”

“Huh?”

“Sorry babe. And sorry Eliana. I didn’t want to use you as bait but...”

Eliana shrugged.

“Hey, you told me I needed to babysit. And that he may try and take her. I was ready.”

“Can... can someone fill me in?”

“Yeah, sorry babygirl. That ex-LSS agent escaped police custody and managed to be on the run for a while. Recently there was a tip that he was planning an attempt to get back at me for recording him and putting him away. So working with the police, and Eliana, we set up this little operation. He knew I would be out trying on dresses today, and that I had appointed a babysitter. What he didn’t know was that we were waiting for him down the road in unmarked vans.”

“You did all this without telling me?”

“I was hoping you wouldn’t even have to know about it all. The plan was to get him as he entered the perimeter, but he managed to give us the slip. Thankfully the security system picked up the smashed window, so we ran in as quickly as possible.”

“Next time, tell me!”

“Hopefully there won’t be a next time babe, he’s back into police custody now and won’t be getting out anytime soon. Thanks Eliana, you can go home if you want.”

The police left with the intruder, Eliana got a lift home from her Dad. He wasn’t happy she had involved herself in this, but he was glad we were both okay. Charlie never let go of me the whole time.

We were snuggled up on the sofa that evening, Charlie holding me closely as we watched TV.

“I’m so glad you’re okay, and I’m glad he’s gone for good now.” Charlie said.

“I’m still annoyed that you didn’t tell me!”

“I’m sorry. How about I make it up to you?”

“Hmm... it’s going to cost you big! AND you still owe me a present!”

“I guess. You were a very good girl after all... How about... hmm... how about you get to plan the nice dinner you wanted to have with our friends? You can pick the restaurant, the food, everything.”

“Ooooh I get to make a decision?”

“Yes. But on one condition.”

I pouted. I knew it was too good to be true.

“You’re my little baby during it.”

“Fine!”

We shook hands. I was actually allowed to plan something for our wedding!

I mean... I didn’t really want to, I trusted Charlie to make it perfect. But I did have the perfect place in mind for our last meal together before we get married.

“Oh and Charlie?”

“Yes sweetpea?”

“What about your dress?”

“Oh don’t worry darling, that’s tomorrow. For real this time. No hidden bad guys waiting to kidnap you, no using you as bait anymore. But I’m sorry Liv, I did promise Eliana she’d get to babysit you properly during it... so have fun!”

I crossed my arms and pouted.

I had wondered all along: let's see what can go wrong when buying clothes. But it was safe, even a similar deal to Liv and Malcolm's.

I was expecting more Madison than the LSS guy.

I didn't really like that they didn't tell Liv.

I have to criticize that I have the impression that Charlie wants baby Liv more than adult Liv. I could be wrong.

And now as a question to all:

Is anyone else expecting Madison to show up at the wedding with a bomb or is it just me?

Holy shit.... Yeah that was not cool for Charlie not to tell her... She kinda fucked up even if everything went according to plan

Okay... so I'm not advocating for torture of us poor readers, but I would totally have stopped when she screamed for Eliana ? ?

I'm glad you're a nicer person than me! ? Good chapter!

That was also my thought while reading:

Sofia would end right now and make us wait 2 days.

I do agree that she should have told Liv. Charlie fucked up.

But regarding the baby thing, remember I'm going to focus on the babying as it's an abdl story. And during this time weeks and months pass, they'll have lots of fun adult relationship time too!

Yeah, Charlie really should have told her.

For a second I thought he’d either get her, hurt her or hurt the babysitter or kidnap the babysitter

I’m glad it wasn’t bad.

Oh I know you would! ?

Exactly why I didn't!

Can't promise I'll always be this nice though... ?

Makes sense there would be a slight repeat or attempt to kidnap Liv. But glad it was foiled pretty quickly.

Yeah I didn't want to focus on this. Just a quick little chapter that increases heart rate.

Well you still have to wait two days but yeah, I'm not that evil ?

This time.

Even if they hadn't planned it, the security system is pretty spot on and she would have made it there in no time with the police probably beating her there. Eliana would do whatever she could to protect her as well. Charlie maybe should have told live but...

I'm going to play devil's advocate

If Liv knew, she may have acted differently, and I'm sure the LSS guy was waiting for the right opportunity. Also in Charlie's own way she was probably thinking she was protecting Liv thinking they would get him before he got inside.

Wow, and I though this story had gone all soppy, then out of the blue the LSS guy shows up out of nowhere and almost succeeds in capturing little Liv to sell to his next client.... that would have been a fun couple of chapters  until Charlie manged to get her back.

Chapter 65: Dinner with Friends

It was now mere days until the wedding.

It was all over the news.

‘Charlotte Williams, aka Rose Woods, marrying female little in private ceremony!’

It had been nearly a year since the book got released, and about 10 months since she revealed herself to be the author, yet she was still appearing in the news.

Probably because we were set to be the first Little-Amazon married couple in the country, so it was big news to all the gossip magazines and newspapers.

I was a very good girl and avoided reading any actual articles, the headlines were bad enough. I knew that if I actually read any of the stuff they’ve been writing about us... well... let’s just not go down that route.

I was set to marry the love of my life, surrounded by my friends and family, and no amount of hatred for littles would bring me down now.

And tonight I was just going to relax, spend some time with my friends, and eat some good food.

-------------------------------------------------

We got to the restaurant earlier than everyone else.

Mostly because we wanted to make sure everything was perfect.

“STELLINA! IT’S GOOD TO SEE YOU!” Luigi shouted, running over and lifting me up into the air, hugging me tightly.

“Luigi! It’s good to see you too!” I smiled back at him.

“Miss Charlotte! As beautiful as ever!” He said, turning to Charlie with me still in his arms.

“Thank you! Is everything ready for tonight?” she asked.

“The restaurant is yours for tonight. No interruptions, no other customers, nothing. Just you and your friends. I’ve even written a special menu with help from yourself.”

I smiled up at him as he put me on the ground.

“Thank you. We want this night to be special for everyone. One last dinner before we’re married.” Charlie said, picking me up and resting me on her hip.

“You didn’t need to book the whole restaurant out you know Miss Charlotte! For you and Olivia I would have done it for free!”

“Shush. You know I couldn’t let you do that. I’m happy to book it out.”

“Well your table is ready ladies, will your guests be arriving soon?”

“They should be here in a few minutes if they’re on time.” I said, looking towards the large table set up for us in the middle of the room.

Luigi had moved all the tables in the middle of the room to make one big one. And he made it look fancy as hell too. This was going to be perfect. Two seats for Mal and Claire, two with booster seats for Sam and David, one seat for Eve next to two highchairs for Zoey and Sarah. Then one normal seat and one highchair for Charlie and me.

We could have invited more. Gwen and Amber were close friends, as were Alice and John. Linda and Tom were getting to be close friends with us both now, and then there was Taylor and their poly family thing. And of course Luigi and Eliana. Over the past year and a half roughly, we had gained a lot of new friends, rediscovered old friends, and made a lot of allies. Relationships have been made, bonds have been fixed. And it warmed my heart to know it was all because of Charlie and I meeting on that fateful evening.

But tonight... tonight was for my team. And yes, that meant Zoey and Sarah too, even if they didn’t have roles yet.

Charlie had dressed me up in a very cute, but very babyish formal dress. Part of the agreement of me getting to make the decisions for tonight was that I had to be thickly padded and be her little baby, hence the outfit and the highchair. But not-so-secretly I loved that she had made that condition.

One by one, our guests arrived. First was Sam.

“Evening Liv! Charlie! Good to see you both!”

“Hey Sam, how are things? How’s the wife? How’s little Elise?” I said as Charlie put me down on the floor so I could greet our guests properly.

Sam’s wife had given birth in May, choosing to call her Elise (after me!).

“Baby won’t shut up lately, so sleeping has been a bit difficult, but we’re managing.”

“You’ll be bringing her to the wedding, right?”

“Only for the party after, I’d hate to have her ruin your ceremony.”

“There’s no need to, but we do appreciate the thought. Anyway, I just saw David enter, so excuse us, your seat is over there, one of the ones with the boosters.”

Sam smiled and went over to his seat.

“David!” Charlie shouted, running over to him awkwardly in her very formal black dress and heels.

“Charlie!”

She picked him up and hugged him tight.

“How’s my big bro?”

“I’m good thanks! How’s my little sis?”

“I can’t complain. Look who I’m marrying!”

I started blushing, waving shyly to David.

As the two of them talked and caught up with each other, I spied Mal and Claire entering, so I quickly excused myself. Not that they noticed, they were too busy with each other.

“Hey you two! Glad you could make it.”

“Couldn’t miss this for the world kiddo. Really looking forward to the wedding too!”

Claire picked me up and hugged me.

“Funny how this time last year I was trying to save you.”

“I know right?”

Malcolm ruffled my hair.

“No talking about that. Either of you! Tonight is a happy meal to celebrate two stupidly romantic nerds getting married.”

“So Mal... when are you and Claire... you know...?” I asked, nudging him.

I knew this would get him blushing. Payback for the nerd comment.

“Umm... err... well it hasn’t been that long... umm...” he started mumbling when Claire hit him round the head before putting me down.

“She’s just trying to get in your head you idiot... don’t worry about that for now. Maybe next year you can ask me!”

Mal shut up completely as Claire escorted him to their seats.

I waited by the front door when Charlie walked up behind me and kissed me on the neck.

I melted completely. It took every part of me not to moan. She knew my weakness, and if she could take advantage of that here, in front of everyone, with no shame or regret or hesitation... I stood no chance.

Thankfully I was saved from the embarrassment when Eve walked in, pushing a double-seated stroller with Zoey and Sarah in it.

Eve looked very smart in a gorgeous, but almost clinical, white dress. And she had dressed the girls up very much like me, in formal baby dresses that were very colourful. Zoey was rocking an adorable red dress with matching dummy, and Sarah was in a blue one, also with matching dodie.

“Hey ladies. Oh, are we last?”

“Yup. And right on time.” I said.

I waved to my friends in the stroller and they waved back. Sarah looked... happy, even dressed up like a baby.

“Liv! She’s already wet!” Zoey shouted at me.

Sarah’s face went crimson and she tried to hide it as Zoey reached over and kissed her on the cheek.

“So she likes it?”

“Oh yes. She’s one of us. I finally converted her!”

“Good job Zoey!” I laughed.

“HEY! You’re not s’posed ta side wif her!” Sarah shouted towards me.

“See! She goes all baby speak when she’s feeling small! It’s adorable!”

Sarah dropped her hands and stuck her tongue out at her girlfriend.

“You’re lucky I love you!”

“I love you too Sarah!” Zoey replied, kissing her on the lips.

“Right, do you want to get seated and we’ll get started? My friend Luigi has the best food!”

Eve helped the girls out, carrying them over to the assigned highchairs and placing them in.

Charlie picked me up and placed me in mine, right next to her seat at the end of the table.

Everyone had poured out some champagne in a glass. The babies, including me, had been given glass baby bottles with silicone teats for the special occasion. We had normal bottles ready for the rest of the meal, but the glass ones were Charlie’s idea so that we could have some champagne to celebrate with.

I grabbed my glass baby bottle and one of Charlie’s forks, tapping the bottle lightly.

I’d use my own fork, but because of Charlie’s conditions... it was plastic.

“Everyone, I’d just like to make a toast.”

Everyone held their glasses. Zoey and Sarah held their glass baby bottles.

“Now, there is a lot I’d like to say, but I have to save some for the wedding. But tonight is about the team, so all I want to say is that I’m really happy everyone ended up here tonight.”

I looked around the table.

“I’m happy we’ve all managed to recover fully, all thanks to Eve, even though it was a long and difficult road.”

I smiled at Zoey, Sarah, David and Sam.

“I’m happy some of us have found love in places we never thought we’d ever find it, congratulations Mal and Claire, Zoey and Sarah.”

I nodded towards the two couples, then at Charlie.

“I’m happy we all found each other and I hope we never lose any of us. I want to thank each and every one of you for your support, your love and your hard work. Not only through our little operation we managed to keep going for years, but through all the scares us littles have been through, we really appreciate you Amazons for being so amazing.”

I took a breath for a second.

“And I want to personally thank you all for your help and support last year. It was the worst time in my life. I reached a new low that I hope I’ll never see again. And if it wasn’t for you all, I wouldn’t be here. I would have either been regressed or...”

A tear rolled down my eye. Charlie noticed and stood up, pulling me in close for a hug.

“What she is saying, is thank you everyone. For being the best friends imaginable.”

“Anything for our leader!” Mal shouted out, putting a smile on my face and stopping the flow of tears.

“Thanks Mal. Seriously, thank you all. I hope you all enjoy tonight. Have fun, drink, eat food. And I only ask for one thing in return. Be happy. This world is cruel, especially for littles. But we have shown time and time again, it doesn’t have to be that way. We may not have our little operation anymore, but we helped out so many people whilst we did. And who knows what the future holds? Just remember, we’re family. And we’ll always have each other’s backs. To family!”

“To family!” everyone shouted in unison, clinking their glasses (and baby bottles).

After my speech, I couldn’t help but notice a few of them had tears running down their faces, which made me happy.

Everyone ordered their food, but because Charlie had planned the specific menu, the babies had their own menu. It wasn’t any different, but it had much cuter babyish names for each of the meals. And of course, the meals were served in a baby bowl, mushed up a bit.

She had picked my favourite out, and I was told specifically that I wasn’t allowed to eat it myself.

So when the food arrived, she rotated her chair, grabbed a bib from my changing back and put it around my neck.

“You’re really going to feed me in front of my friends?”

“Of course babygirl. They all want to see it, don’t you?”

I saw a bunch of nods from around the table. Even Sam and David were nodding and giggling!

“Plus your friends over there are having the exact same treatment as you tonight.”

“I looked over to the other two littles in highchairs and saw Eve putting bibs on both Zoey and Sarah, which made me feel a bit better and less embarrassed.

But that didn’t last long.

It only lasted until the first spoonful Charlie shovelled into my mouth, intentionally missing slightly so some of it smeared around my mouth, making me appear more babyish.

“Here comes the train! Choo choo!” Charlie was clearly enjoying this.

Not like I wasn’t... but still... no, who am I kidding, my baby side loved this. I loved this. And knowing that none of my friends cared, that two of my closest friends were sat across the large table from me in the same predicament... I just felt so satisfied.

It helped that Luigi had made my favourite meal perfectly.

“Make sure you eat it all up babygirl. But try to make room for dessert.”

“Ooooh yummy!” I said excitedly.

“And milk...” she winked at me.

My face went bright red as everyone started giggling and smiling at me.

I’d never forget tonight. Being here with the people I loved the most.

And in two days I’d be spending the rest of my life with the gorgeous redhead next to me.

Looking at her beautiful face, her enchanting green eyes, her adorable little freckles and her gorgeous smile, my heart felt happy and knew I was exactly where I wanted to be.

With her. Forever.

A really great and beautiful chapter.

Short but perfect for the transition.

Did anyone but me expect Madison to come in with a gun and threaten everyone? Or even the police again because the two corrupt policemen have friends and now want to arrest Liv for the murder of Madison (murder in the broadest sense it was somehow self-defense but no matter).
I'm not the only paranoid one here, am I? am I?! AM I?!?!

I wasn't expecting that to happen specifically, but... something to genuinely go wrong. Not because I want it all ruined, but because things have been going too smoothly this last run of chapters. One last challenge to overcome.
