  1. Toooootally not one of my biggest fantasies... Toooootally haven't pretended to have this ring when flirting with people... Noooope... totally innocent... that's what I am! O_O But thank you
  2. Chapter 2: Mundane Arbitrio Sanguinis – LittleFallenPrincess “And so I got passed over for this big promotion…” I couldn’t figure out if I was dead, undead, or alive right now… but this conversation was killing me nonetheless. ‘Work this’… ‘work that’… ‘baby shower’… ‘bins got changed to a Tuesday’… this date would kill me… if I wasn’t already dead. “So I got her back, I filed for a transfer over to accounting and…” She continued. ‘Maybe she’s a succubus like Nia? Maybe she’s not actually human, maybe she’s a succubus who bores you to death and sucks the life force from you?’ I thought to myself. Within twenty minutes of sitting down in the booth of this human bar with this human vanilla woman… I quickly realised Nia was wrong. Dating humans is just so… mundane. Now and again you’ll meet someone like Susie (I met her when she was human, and we got on really well), but most humans just talk about their dead-end jobs, their boring, mundane lives… and their relationship drama. At least the relationship drama amongst Monstrum is exciting. When Beatrice broke up with her most recent boyfriend… who was a vampire who cheated on her… she cast a curse on him so that all his ‘sustenance’ tasted like pumpkin spice latte. Like… everything, or everyone, he ate… tasted like pumpkin spice latte. All because he made fun of one drink she ordered. Another reminder to never piss that woman off. Or when we had a creepy little start coming to events, hitting on Beth. Like we made it very clear to this creep that Beth was happily married, but of course he was freshly turned as a werewolf, so he still had his human mindset… a very homophobic, human mindset… He was given many chances to behave, but after he went a bit too far… well… let’s just say he earned his ‘pup’ nickname. Thanks to a curse from Beth, whenever there’s a full moon or he tries to transform… he turns into the cutest little puppy. Which has not only humiliated him… but left him a bit of an outcast in his pack. Basically… don’t piss off witches. It’s not just witches who are great at getting back at partners, exs, or creeps… I heard of another werewolf marking his territory on an ex’s rose garden, which attracted a bunch more werewolves, which ended up ruining everything. Her garden was in a complete state after that. But no, these humans… ‘oh I keyed my ex’s car’ or ‘I complained to HR about the gossip’... like… I get it… it’s interesting to humans, but to us monstrum? It’s just a bit… basic. I don’t even know why I thought this was a good idea. And Nia will definitely be getting an earful from me later tonight over text, once I’ve listened to this very sweet but very boring woman explain, for what seems like the thousandth time, this stupid human soap opera she watches. But I didn’t want to appear rude, so I sat there and nodded along, smiling at her occasionally to make it look like I was listening, when really I wanted to break my vow of never biting humans, just so I could turn her and actually have something interesting to talk about. But no… I am a good girl. I have to behave. “And so Sheila broke up with Michael because her father was actually her…” OH MY GOD CAN THIS WOMAN HAVE SOMETHING INTERESTING TO TALK ABOUT FOR FIVE MINUTES? PLEASE? I could feel the will to live draining from me as she went on and on, not even allowing me to talk about myself. Not that I could talk about my life much, I can’t exactly tell her that I’m a vampire. I already had to delay this date from midday to late in the evening so I didn’t get burned to a crisp, I can’t give it away that I’m a vampire any more than I already have. Not in this bar full of humans. “And then Derek comes in to find her cheating on him, so she throws out all his stamp collection…” I can’t take it anymore. This is Hell. I bet even Nia could take a few tips from this woman on how to torture people. So I quickly and discreetly pulled my phone out and sent a text to Susie. Lucy: Need summon. Please. ASAP. HELP! I looked up at the woman and coughed gently. “Sorry, I need to go to the bathroom, I’ll be right back…” Quickly rushing out of the booth, I ran into the bathroom as fast as my legs could carry me, and dove into a stall, closing the door as a woman was just leaving. I could feel a tingle surrounding my body. Here we go… my escape… “What happened? Was it a hunter? Did a hunter find you?” Beth asked as I appeared in the Sanctuary suddenly, having been teleported back by Beth’s spell. Beth was standing there, in her pyjamas, with a blanket wrapped around herself. As if I had interrupted a cosy night in for the two of them… …Oops. “I… umm…” I blushed, trying to think of an excuse. But it appeared that Susie, who was standing next to her wife in matching pyjamas, saw right through my excuse even before I could come up with it. “Lucy… did you ask me to get Beth to summon you so you could get out of another bad date?” Susie asked, seemingly unimpressed. “I… I’m sorry! I’ll pay you back for the reagents for the spell! I just… I couldn’t stand that woman. If I hear one more thing about that soap opera she watches… I was very close to biting her!” Beth, who was clearly not happy that I abused her magic for such a frivolous and meaningless thing, and disrupted her cosy night with her wife… walked over with the most sour face I had seen on her for a while, and pulled something from her pocket. Before I could say anything else… she placed a dummy in my mouth and whisked her finger about in the air… and I suddenly found I couldn’t spit it out. “That… is so you don’t bite anyone. And for misusing my magic…” She didn’t continue that sentence, she just grinned at me, which made the feeling in my stomach so much worse… “BWHAHAHAHAHA!” Grim was literally rolling on the floor, laughing, clutching his stomach, as I stood there, in front of my housemates. “Lucy… You know what Beth is like. And you thought it was a good idea to pretend to need an emergency summon? You brought this on yourself…” Abby replied, trying to hold in her laughter. “I assume you can’t take that off?” I shook my head, knowing that if I opened my mouth… Grim would never let me live it down. Not that they’d ever let me forget this moment anyway, they had taken many photos with their phone cameras, promising to Beth that they would never show anyone outside our little circle… under pain of enduring the same punishment themselves. Still not fair though, no doubt they’ll be pulling out their phones to show me for years… decades even… I waddled my way over to the sofa in our living room, plopping my very padded rear down, in between my two friends who had settled down for a cosy evening themselves. “Need a baba, baby girl?” Grim teased. Not deigning to give him the satisfaction, I kept my mouth shut and pouted. I couldn’t even look him in the eyes right now, as no doubt he was grinning from ear to ear, and he’d just find some way to tease me even more. So no, I wasn’t giving him any more ammo than he already had. I’d just sit there… in this satin pink romper with ‘Stinky Lil Vampling’ stitched in cursive on the bib of it. Frills adorned the seat of the romper, which I had to show off to my housemates upon being dropped off by Beth and Susie. The thick padded booties wrapped around my feet were also hard to walk in, making me waddle slightly. It wasn’t the actual design of them that was the problem, they were just normal baby booties but adult-sized… no, it was that Beth had put a little spell on them to cause me to waddle. Because the nappy I was wearing wasn’t actually that thick. At least no thicker than usual anyway. Still a lot thicker than anything my friends would wear, but I could still usually walk normally whilst wearing these super babyish nappies, but Beth’s spell… or curse… meant it felt like I was wearing like twenty of these nappies. And that’s the thing… it wasn’t the romper with the humiliating message, or the cursed booties, or anything I was wearing… they weren’t the big problem. It wasn’t even the potion that Beth made me drink as punishment for what I did, one that has reduced my speech to that of a toddler at best. It wasn’t even the thick mittens which prevented me from removing any of this humiliating outfit. Not even the dummy, which was also cursed to prevent me from removing it myself or spitting it out. And no… it wasn’t the huge matching baby bonnet wrapped around my head. Sure, I looked ridiculous, but that wasn’t what was making me quake in my little booties right now. What was making me so nervous… was the thing both my roommates were eyeing up, both so desperate to have a go of… “ME FIRST!” Abby shouted, pouncing across the sofa, diving behind me and grabbing the thing I so desperately wanted to keep away from them… but found myself powerless to do anything. Damn witches and their damn tricks… Grabbing the ring behind me, she gripped it tightly and pulled sharply, pulling the string that was attached to my back. “I’M WIDDLE WUCY. I WUV BEING A BIG BABY!” I shouted out, feeling a little piece of my soul die… what was left of it anyway. “Oh my god… it’s brilliant!” Abby said, letting go of the ring, which allowed Grim to grab it. He pulled the ring pull on my back, just like Abby had, and I felt the urge burst out from within again… “I AM A BIG STINKY BABY. PWEASE CHANGE ME!” I blurted out, feeling my face burning up even more. “Oh I’m going to have so much fun with this little baby dolly…” Abby giggled, whilst Grim was incapacitated on the floor, rolling about, laughing his head off. After they had had enough of playing with their new dolly roommate, Abby and Grim sent a text to Beth, telling them that I had endured enough. Now I’d like to say they sent the text after a good ten minutes or so… but no, they really had their fun, constantly pulling the string on my back throughout the TV show they were watching, making me say increasingly more humiliating things like a toddler doll with a lisp. Once the text was sent though, it was only a matter of minutes before I felt my back feel… lighter. “Ah, it’s gone. Shame. Guess we’ll just have to wait for you to mess up again…” Abby giggled at me. Then just like the dolly string pull, the mittens disappeared. Followed by the bonnet and the booties… and lastly the romper transformed into… well it wasn’t the gorgeous dress I had worn to the date earlier… but it closely resembled it. It was as if that dress had been transformed into… a onesie… “I guess it will hafta do…” I said, before realising that the potion that had affected my voice hadn’t worn off yet. And neither had the spell on my dummy… “Guess you’re still a baby for the rest of the night. Best get you to bed early, otherwise you’ll be cranky in the morning…” Grim teased. I just huffed and pouted at my housemates, not even giving them the satisfaction of looking at them whilst in this state. ‘I’m so going to get Nia back for thinking this was a good idea…’ ======================================================= Glad you're all excited for a Lucy story! Chapter 1: Ennui Arbitrio Sanguinis – LittleFallenPrincess “Luce…?” “Lucy…” “Miss Piddlepants…” “Baby bloodsucker…” “Mushtush…” I could hear them all trying to get my attention, trying to tease me into responding… but I found it hard to break my eye contact with the floor. I was currently winning my staring contest with it, and I wasn’t going to let myself lose now, not this late into the game. Because I play to win… and totally not to avoid looking at all my happy friends with all their happy families and partners… totally not to avoid thinking about how everyone has someone but me… totally not to see all my friends sitting on their Mummy’s or Daddy’s laps… feeling happy… little… loved… Nope. Because that would make me a grumpy sourpuss. And I didn’t want to bring down the mood of the event by telling anyone what was really going on in my head. I had been hiding it for the longest time now and no matter what… I wasn’t going to bother any of them with it. Especially not since that whole awkward Christmas party that Nia had to deal with. I wasn’t going to add to her plate right now, she was still in her blissful post-engagement period where she and Vic couldn’t stop bragging about the proposal or the ring that Nia wore on her finger. Her stupid adorable finger. Totally not salty that everyone I knew was either married, getting married, or getting serious with a partner or partner. Totally not salty at the fact I hadn’t dated anyone in a long time, not since my shitty abusive ex. And no, I’m not counting those few I found online that I stupidly got my hopes up about… only to be disappointed and alone. Totally not salty. Because I can’t be. I can’t ruin this for them. Or bother them with it. I’m already a bother. They’re already so accepting of me, and so nice to me… I don’t want to ever bother them more than I already do. So for now, I’ll continue staring at the floor, trying to avoid eye contact with anyone, making it look like I’m in my own little world, unable to hear them. They’ll stop eventually, then I’ll apologise like I always do, and then they can move on and I can go on… avoiding looking at my best friends in the world because they’re happy and I’m just… un… un… …Unloveable. Thankfully, as predicted, they moved on with their conversation and let me be, discussing a camping trip they were planning for later this year, sometime in late summer. No doubt I’d be invited, but honestly… I wasn’t sure I even wanted to go. Not on my own anyway. It’ll just be the same as these events, they all get super romantic and couple-y… and I’m left on my own… with no dance partner to dance with. That’s all I want in life. Or in my case, un-life. In my long un-life as a vampire, I’ve dated, I’ve found partners… but none of them lasted. At first I tried to protect my humanity, focusing on dating only humans. But the ones who know about our supernatural world aren’t all amazing allies, the few I did try dating early on in my vampiric life… were only out to get turned. They had been familiars of other vampires, and since vampires like to promise to turn them but end up never doing it… they seek outside sources. So of course they all used me to get turned… At least I realised after the first one that I was being played, so that quickly stopped and I moved away from dating humans altogether. Instead I focused on our own community. But this was at the start of the last century… so it was a bit more difficult to find someone. Much smaller dating pools. I tried dating a couple of vanillas… but they freaked out and ran when I started being myself, my more… infantile self… At the time, I wasn’t even aware of this kink I have, or my little side, I just tried dating someone who was a bit more serious than me, and looking back now… yeah, they were vanilla. So I gave up dating monstrum too, well… vanilla ones (though again, didn’t realise until later that they were known as ‘vanilla’, I just didn’t want to date anyone overly serious who couldn’t stand my childishness). Which limited my dating pool even further, as it was shortly after this that I met my ex, the one I ran into again last year. That was a thing, she introduced me to this kink and the world of kink, that’s it. End of story. Nothing else to say. So I gave up dating again, even kinksters this time. For decades I had nothing… no one… at least no one who didn’t abuse me but let’s not talk about those two relationships just yet… then I met Beth. I thought I felt a spark between us… but that ended up just being a best friendship. I’m not complaining, I love Beth to bits, as I do all my friends… but I still wanted that bit extra. It hurt even more when I set her and her wife up together, before Susie had died and got resurrected as a zombie, but I knew they’d be a perfect match. I mean me and Bea had a very very brief thing, but we very quickly realised we weren’t really that into each other and were happier as friends. So around that period of my life I just stopped dating, focusing entirely on making friends… but that didn’t really get me anywhere either. I had Beth and Bea and that was about it. Eventually I’d meet Susie when I went to University, but I still didn’t date anyone. Then Grim and Abby came into my life and I moved in with them. And for the longest time, I’ve kept my sadness hidden inside me, trying to appear as strong as possible to all my friends, so as to not bring them down into my depression and my loneliness bubble. At this point I was sure I’d never find anyone. Nia and Victoria had this amazing backstory about them meeting and getting together. Demons, summonings, cults… I mean Vic even died for Nia, and Nia went to Hell for her… and that’s not even getting into her whole ‘being a fallen angel’ thing. Which I still can’t get over. Freakin’ angels! Susie and Beth too. Susie found out about Beth being a Witch, died, got resurrected, and then got hunted by Death. So Beth created this Sanctuary, a place where monstrum from all over can come for… well… Sanctuary. They can come here to hide out from hunters, they can come here after escaping abusive partners or after humans have found out about them. Or… they can just come for help regarding anything. And Susie and Beth will help them, no questions asked. Like… these two are made for each other, and I love it… but it also breaks my heart that I don’t have an awesome partner with an awesome backstory. Even Abby has her partners, who had both turned up for today’s littles event, both fussing over the very blushy little kitsune. They really treated the girl like their daughter, fussing over her and spoiling her and making sure she’s never wanting for anything. And from how I’ve heard Abby talk about them… she isn’t just using them for her money. Not that she’s that kind of person anyway, but she genuinely loves these two. So whilst she doesn’t have an awesome backstory full of death and sacrifice and love… she has TWO people loving her with all their heart. Why does she get two… when I get… no one. Even Grim is here with his Daddy, for the first time. Turns out his Daddy is very new to all this, and was very nervous about coming to an event, but Grimfang managed to convince his fellow werewolf boyfriend to attend today. They have this adorable story about how they met, sounding like they had met in a freaking romantic comedy. Like… Come on! Where’s my romantic comedy? Where’s my caregiver? Where’s my tale of defying Death for love? No… Instead I was stuck here, in this meaningless existence, slowly dwindling away day by day. It was a struggle to even eat, often my housemates would need to bring me… ‘sustenance’… from our ethical supplier, and pressure me to drink it. Because most days consisted of me getting out of bed (no, I know I’m a vampire, but only old school vamps sleep in coffins), going on my PC, playing games… then going to bed when the sun comes up again. I barely left my room, going back into my old ways, back to before I started opening up. Then Nia came into my life and gave me a little hope that maybe I’d find someone… so I put myself out there… only to be massively disappointed. Then her engagement happened and I got another boost in morale… but so far it isn’t going well. There just aren’t that many single Mummies out there, especially not monstrum ones. So I’ll just continue being alone. Feeling this hopelessness but keeping it bottled up insi… “Luce…” Nia said, grabbing my hand and pulling me out of my seat. Before I could respond, complain… or even react, she pulled me away from our little group in the corner, past some littles that were playing in the ballpit, past Medusa, who was colouring in a picture for her Mummy, and towards the plastic adult-sized playhouse in the far corner. She poked her head in, whilst still holding my hand, to check if it was clear, before turning around and smiling at me. “All clear! Come on, grumpy pants…” She said, pulling me into the playhouse and closing the big red plastic door. “Sit. Now!” I did as she said, and sat in the corner on my thickly padded butt, my red babydoll dress lifting slightly as I took my place, revealing the thick nappy between my very pale legs. Quickly fixing my dress, I adjusted myself so I was comfortable on the squishy play mat underneath me. “So… spill it.” Nia said, sitting opposite me and looking at me intensely. “Spill what? I can’t spill anything, I’ve got a baba…” I joked, trying to move away from the real reason we were in this playhouse right now. “Oi, I’m the one who makes snarky jokes. Stay in your lane, little vampling.” Nia grinned at me. “No, seriously, what’s up hun?” “What do you mean? Everything is fine!” I replied, putting on the best fake smile I could for my friend. “I know I’m still relatively new to emotions and people and everything… but I’m pretty sure I can spot when my best friend is down in the dumps about something. So spill it!” “I’m fine, I promise!” I lied again. “We’re not leaving this playhouse until you tell me what’s going on in that silly little mind of yours…” “Nothing… I…” “Sweetie… don’t you just want to… tell me… everything…?” Nia said, crawling over slowly, her padded hips swaying back and forth as her tail swished about, before she got to me. Lifting her hand, she placed it under my chin and lifted, so my eyes couldn’t break contact with hers. “Come on…” I could feel something stirring within me, as if I wanted to… no, as if I needed to do whatever she said… That’s when it clicked. “OI! NO USING SUCCUBUS POWERS!” I yelled at her, maybe a little too loudly. She instantly threw off this sultry persona and sat back on her padded butt, pouting with her arms crossed in front of me. “Fine! But you have to tell me. It’s in the best friend's rules.” “I… fine. I… I’m just… I’m lonely.” “But we’re all here, having fun! All your friends!” She argued. “Not that way… I’m very thankful for you all… but seeing you…” “Oh.” Nia’s face dropped and she quickly hid her engagement ring with her other hand. “Seeing us all with our caregivers… with partners… Oh hun, I’m sorry…” “Yeah… got it in one.” I sighed. “Sweetie, it’s just a matter of time. You’ll find someone. And I bet they’re gonna be the bestest Mummy ever, making you happier than ever.” “I thought that with my ex…” “Yes, and that was a lesson that will allow you to sense people who are wrong for you from now on. Trust me, your time is soon. Just… keep a little bit of hope, please?” “I… can’t promise…” “Where are you looking these days? I thought you were putting yourself out there again? What about that human you were dating when I first met you?” “Didn’t work out, she ghosted me. And I tried a website for monstrum. That didn’t work out either. People were vampire chasers. Or… the other kind of chaser…” I said, rolling my eyes in disgust. “Oh? OH… eww…” Nia said as she finally understood just what I meant. “Fuck them. That doesn’t bother me. You’re just this really fuckin cool chick who is also my best fuckin friend.” “You do realise that…?” “That Vic would tan my hide if she heard me using this language? Why do you think we’re hiding out in the playhouse? And even if she didn’t… Beatrice would…” “That I would pay to see…” I grinned. “OI! Don’t you start! You don’t know what it’s like to be spanked by that witch!” “No, because I’m a good girl.” My grin grew twice as big. “So am I!” Nia whined. “...Most of the time.” I giggled at my friend, who just pouted back at me again. “Why… Why don’t you try dating humans again? Or maybe ask Beth if there are any other dating websites for us lot?” “I tried dating humans. It’s… not good.” “And humans have changed a lot in the billion years since you got turned into a vampire…” “I’m not that old! You’re way older than me, Miss ‘I’m actually an angel from the dawn of time’.” “Yeah but… for someone so old, I look hot.” She said, posing in a seductive way as a joke. “Agreed.” I said, sticking my tongue out at her and smiling. “Why don’t you try it? For me? Please? I hate to see you so lonely.” “Sorry…” “No! No more apologising! This isn’t your fault, silly girl. Just find a dating website, make a profile, put yourself out there. No, in fact… ten dating websites. We’re gonna find you a Mama, no matter what it takes! Why not try finding a vanilla person and introducing them to this?” I loved Nia’s optimism. It… was actually infectious. I could feel that drive to put myself out there again… and it scared me. But a small part of me was excited that maybe… just maybe… …I’d find someone. ======================================================= So... new story! New perspective! More evil cliffhangers await! I hope you enjoyed this, and continue to enjoy it as the story progresses. I put a lot of emotion into this story, as you can probably tell, and a lot more of myself into some of the characters. But don't worry, there will be a lot of fun too! -------------------------------------------- Thinking of finally opening up short story commissions now too finally, now that my writers block seems to have subsided. 5. Epilogue Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess I sat in our conservatory, enjoying this cosy night in with Charlie, blanket wrapped around me, and a mug of hot chocolate in my hands which was keeping them nice and toasty. Charlie had fallen asleep during the movie on her own chair, snoring ever so softly like she does when she’s really content and comfortable. No longer did I have to get up stupidly early for work anymore. I had finally resigned and given up my seat now that the election was over. Landslide win again, by the way, as apparently littles weren’t put off by our previous party’s actions to vote for us again, or well… with this new party that Lorna Carter formed. So she’s no longer interim Prime Minister anymore, she’s actually the Prime Minister now. And so far… she’s not gone back on her word like her predecessor did. Speaking of him… he was thankfully jailed for his part in what happened to Charlie. And as for Chris… as punishment for his part in that crime, and to ensure safety for amazons… Chris was regressed, via hypnosis, and adopted, meaning that all plans of his device were now gone, meaning no one could recreate that evil thing and put anyone else at risk. I know I’m against regression, and the Little’s equality act now prevents non-consensual adoptions… but there was a clause for people who seriously break the law. And whilst I was discussing this clause with others, back when I was first drafting it, I was disgusted that I’d have to keep something like that in order to please the Amazons. But now… I was glad that I did. So now that my political career was over, little’s rights were enshrined in law, and everything was returning to normal… I got to enjoy this beautiful night sky through the conservatory roof with my wife. Well, she would enjoy it… if she hadn’t passed out during the movie. I’ll give her another hour or so and let her rest there, all snuggled up, as I finish the movie. We had no friends around, no commitments, not even Nessa was with us this weekend, instead it was just the two of us getting to have a romantic date night at home. Good food, good movies, the best company… What else could a girl ask for? …Except maybe a bedtime story if Charlie is feeling up to it… ----------------------- “You could have just left me in the conservatory and gone to bed, my love…” Charlie said to me as she carried me up the stairs, half asleep after I had woken her up so that we could go to bed. “Yes, but I can’t lift the side of the crib…” “You want to go in your crib tonight? How come?” She replied, yawning. “Just… feeling a bit… ickle…” “You are? So I assume you want a bedtime story?” She smiled down at me. “If you’re up for it…” “I don’t think it’s possible for me not to want to read you a bedtime story, baby girl. But it’ll have to be a short one, I’m already falling asleep again.” “Uh huh! You’ve been busy with your new book lately. You need to take some time off.” “Hun, you know how important it is. If I can get through to people in our country with my last book, I’m hoping to reach a wider audience with my next one. Maybe that could spark something in other countries… leading to something similar in those…” “Hopefully. But stop feeling like you’ve got the weight of the world on your shoulders…” I could hear something outside, a gentle hum of the air as Charlie walked into the nursery and laid me down in my crib, sitting by my side on the edge of the mattress. It was so quiet out, especially with no neighbours nearby, which meant no cars… no people… nothing. The only thing you could hear is the gentle humming of… “Do you hear that?” Charlie asked, as she picked up a story book for her to read to me. “That’s just the air outside, no?” “M… maybe. Yeah, you’re probably right.” Charlie shrugged, smiling down at me. “My Bonnie lies over the ocean…” “That… that doesn’t sound like the wind…” Charlie whispered, sounding concerned. “Did you leave the TV on?” I asked her, hoping it was just a silly thing like that and not something… yeah... “No, I made sure to turn it off…” “My Bonnie lies over the sea…” “That… that’s not the wind. Nor is it the TV. Is someone outside?” I asked. “I think so. Baby, stay here…” Charlie said, standing up but keeping the crib side down so that I could escape if I needed to. “My Bonnie lies over the ocean…” “They’re in the house…” Charlie whispered, looking increasingly more worried. She was right, that song was now in our house… “That song… it’s so… enchanting… I… can’t… I… something feels off…” It was as if my whole body felt… not mine… it was so weird… “I…” Charlie struggled to concentrate, probably feeling the same thing I was feeling, as she hid to the side of the doorway, waiting for whoever had broken in to come for me. She grabbed the heaviest thing she could, which in a nursery… was difficult. But she managed to grab a heavy ornament that she had gotten me for my birthday. I just hoped she didn’t have to use it, I loved that little fairy decoration. “Ready baby?” She prepared herself, trying to shake off the fog infiltrating her brain, holding the ornament up high, readying herself to swing at whoever was invading our home. “Oh, bring back my Bonnie to meeee…” The intruder stood in the doorway, wearing a dark robe and a dark hat… and wait… “Rose?” I called out. “Hey, my lovelies! Good to see you!” She replied, bursting into the nursery with excitement in her voice, but looking up at me with a smile that I could tell was masking something. She does have the same face as Charlie… and so too does she share the same coping mechanisms, and it was clear she was trying to appear positive, but something serious must have happened if she’s trying this hard to mask it. “ROSE? WHAT THE HELL?” Charlie yelled at her as she put the ornament down and rushed her for a hug. “Sorry for intruding…” Rose apologised, adjusting her glasses after my wife had squeezed the life out of her. “What was that song…? I felt so… weird… hearing it…” I asked. “Oh! Sorry! I… I was lost in my own head for a while there, lots has been happening and familiar things help me concentrate. I forgot that it’ll have an effect on you… my bad!” “Your…?” I was quickly interrupted by our Witchy variation who we hadn’t seen in what seems like… forever! “Anyway, I was just wondering… are you busy? A lot has happened and I really didn’t want to bother you, not after you have all your own stuff to deal with. Especially with the whole election thing… but umm… Noelle and I could… umm… use your help…” “Of course! Anything for…” Rose sighed awkwardly and quickly interrupted me. “...In… in this war of ours…” ======================================================= So... it's over! Did you all enjoy it? I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it, especially the ending I gave because I was determined to give it this kind of ending. And yes, this is teasing the next... and final story of the LittleFallenVerse, Witch in Training II. ...For now at least. I do plan on coming back to this series eventually, but I've done 7 of the last 10 books set in this series, and I'd like to focus more on the monstrum series and other stories for a while. If I come up with a good story for the littlefallenverse in the future, I'll come back to this series, but once Witch in Training II is done, it'll be a while before I do. As for upcoming stories, just thought I'd update you all with the order I've got planned, which I've given to my subscribers. As of writing, the plan is: 1- 3rd Monstrum Story (This will start on Sunday 21st April, so this upcoming Sunday. Not giving away the title just yet, but look out for it usual time Sunday!) 2- Fantasy Story (This one is mostly planned out and isn't part of any series. Standalone fun story set in a fantasy world of elves and dwarves and stuff, but with some kink mixed in) 3- 4th Monstrum Story (Had a really good idea lately which kinda merged with an old idea I had for a while, so I'm super excited for this one) 4- Witch in Training II (Reason for this being left til here is because I still need to work on a lot of the plan for it, as its still in the early stages of planning) So I hope you continue to enjoy my stories as I keep posting them, and please keep commenting, comments and discussion really help keep me motivated to write! Seeing you all enjoy my stories so much makes me want to write more! Also wow... this is the tenth full length novel I've posted. and I'm very close to finishing the 11th and starting my 12th! -------------------------------------------- My new story just had it's fourth chapter on SubscribeStar, so expect it here next week (at least that's the current plan). Also thinking of opening up short story commissions now too finally, now that my writers block seems to have subsided. If you haven't seen, I'm now up and running on Subscribestar! (Sorry for the reminder again, trying to get my subscribers back after the Patreon rubbish!) ======================================================== I hope everyone enjoys this chapter! Please leave likes and comments and all that fun stuff, I love reading them! If you want to read the next 4 chapters, thanks to two weeks early access to my main story and also soon-to-be exclusive access to short stories (or even have a chance at commissioning one when I add the tier for them!), why don't you check out my SubscribeStar! The basic tier gets early access and exclusive access to short stories (when they're written), higher tiers will be limited but get a short story each month (1-2 per month in total, also not yet running this tier yet, will announce when I'm starting!). Thank you to all my patrons for their support over the past couple of years! Seriously, your support meant the world to me, and I hope to be set up somewhere new soon. New chapters of my latest story every Wednesday/Sunday! Also just a quick note: I don't mind people saving this story for personal reading. But I'd appreciate it if people didn't post it elsewhere, even if you're just suggesting it to other people. If you want to show others, please send them a link to the first page of this post! Thanks!
  6. Chapter 40: Healing Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess It had been six months since the protests stopped. Six months since the Prime Minister got voted out and arrested, along with Chris Slater, for their roles regarding the attack on Charlie. Thanks to LIBRA going through all their servers and all of Chris’ house, we found a bunch of incriminating evidence for both Chris and the Prime Minister, meaning that it was pretty much an open-and-shut case. It was as I feared, Chris had initially started off wanting to help people… but he got greedy. After setting up his apartment blocks, and once LIBRA had decided to try and find a candidate to run for parliament, he was approached by some companies, and also the Prime Minister, about potentially selling us all out for guaranteed safety. Turns out they had found out about what happened to Madison, and were terrified of LIBRA using that technology against us, so instead of fighting us, they turned our biggest supporter. Shortly after my wedding, he started receiving messages from them. And not long after that… began discussing using that technology on littles, as they had had one unfortunate accident when one of the researchers played around with the settings, frying their brain… making them Brute Force victim number one. All in exchange for saving his own skin. The Prime Minister had told him of his plans for the country, of his planned betrayal, and said that littles would never have power. Well… all except Chris. So the whole time I was campaigning, trying to convince people to go out and vote for us… Chris was being manipulated and coerced by these powerful individuals, and by the time we won… they were already the best of friends. And being the nuisance that I was to both Chris and the Prime Minister… they both decided to hypnotise Charlie to get me to back down, as apparently if they had gone after me, it would have just empowered littles. But if they went after me through Charlie… it would just be another Amazon regressing a little. Every time she went to one of her ‘publisher’ meetings, she was really being hypnotised by the device Chris had developed, and… well… you saw how that turned out. Now… obviously, with the current laws… they weren’t going to prison for their role in creating the Brute Force hypnosis. But they had gone after an Amazon. Manipulated her mind. And what was worse… was that apparently Charlie wasn’t the first. Obviously, they had to test it on others, so they found critics of Chris or the government, and manipulated their minds. It was a huge scandal and I had a lot of higher ups questioning me and LIBRA regarding the ‘destruction’ of the device. But I wasn’t lying when I said I destroyed it. I’m not having anything that messes with people’s brains, be it Amazons’ or littles’ minds. So yes, it was a bit of a hectic half a year. And a lot has happened in those six months. Let’s get it over with… no, I didn’t accept the nomination. I turned it down and suggested Lorna Carter be nominated instead. She seemed trustworthy, and I had Dotty look into her situation to make sure my gut was right about her. Turns out it was, Lorna had adopted her little friend after she had rescued her from a previous abusive adoption, and was helping her recover, even sending her to see Eve a few days a week. So she had my full backing, which apparently meant a lot to the rest of the party, who all voted for her in a landslide win. So she took over as interim Prime Minister, and called for an election within the year, pledging to dismantle the current party and lead a new one, made up of both Amazons AND littles, making sure to only let in those who weren’t the ex-Prime Minister’s lackeys, people who wanted to actually make a difference to little’s lives, you know… the ones who ran this party until the Prime Minister and Chris got their grubby little hands on it. I was asked, personally by Lorna, to run in my constituency again, but I… turned them down. I’d had enough of being in the limelight. I’d had enough of being targeted due to being the only little. Even if they were going to take more little candidates on… I didn’t want to be part of it anymore. I set out to make a difference… and I have done. Not only did I get the corrupt leader out, root out the corruption within LIBRA, and start a country-wide protest that led to everything changing… but I finally passed the Littles Equality Act. It was the first thing Lorna did as interim PM, making sure to ‘right the wrongs caused’ and ‘doing what they should have done within the first week of winning’. And thanks to our majority in the House of Commons, we got it passed quickly, just before the election. It was the House of Lords that I was worried about, but it turns out the protests got them shaken up too, and they quickly passed it, with two thirds majority voting in favour of the bill. And… before you ask… no, I didn’t use the device before I dismantled it. Of course I didn’t. I just saw the good in people and hoped for the best. And so it became law. Littles in our country suddenly had rights they no longer held before. Adoptions plummeted because it became illegal for Amazons to adopt littles without consent. Sure, some people still forcibly took littles, but the police now had much greater power to bring those to justice. Corruption in the government and the police was quickly stamped out, ensuring that they were serving the people, and that means everyone, littles included. Businesses catering to baby equipment for littles found their profits dropping sharply, so they all moved away overseas to countries that still allowed nonconsensual adoptions. But even with that drop in our economy, that was quickly made up by the number of littles who started returning to work now that it was safe to do so. And to top it all off… TV and radio suddenly became safe for us, after all forms of hypnosis for littles was banned. To my surprise, there were still quite a few consensual adoptions. Nowhere near the thousands every month that we had before forced adoptions were banned, but still a good dozen or so each month. Adoption centres were shut down, some of which forcibly. There was no need for them anymore, they were all out to make a profit at the expense of the littles it forcibly took, and they treated all of us so inhumanely. But in its place… were ‘LIBRA centres’. After Chris’ arrest, his funds had been used by Dotty and Claire and the rest at LIBRA to open what are known as LIBRA centres. They had bought the old adoption centres and turned them into these little ‘sanctuaries’. These centres are here for any littles in need of help. Whether it's because of an Amazon who is trying to adopt them forcibly, or if they need help after being exposed to any illegal infantilising hypnosis or nanites, LIBRA centres were set up to help any little in need. They also helped littles who wanted to be adopted, finding them safe, loving families if they wanted to go down that route. There were a lot of background checks to make sure the Amazons who would adopt them weren’t in it to abuse the littles, and so that if the little ever wanted to ‘grow up’, they could. Eve also really had her work cut out for her. Faith had helped her develop a way to help those who had been subjected to the brute force hypnosis recover, though it was going to be a long, difficult process to get back to normal for the regressed littles, a lot longer and harder than it was for those only subjected to the generic hypnosis pumped out on TV. Once she was done though, Faith and Morgan said goodbye once again and headed back to their new home, telling me that we needed to visit sometime. And so Eve continued her work and her research. Plus not only did she still manage her own clinic, but she now trained others in her methods to help un-regress littles, and then those got hired at LIBRA centres. LIBRA was slowly making their way through the previously registered adoptions, freeing any adopted little they could, and helping them recover at one of their centres. Some wanted to stay adopted, choosing to stay as an infantilised little in the care of an Amazon, as it made the world a lot easier to deal with. Honestly… part of me understood their choice. It’s better for us all now… but it’s still scary out there. Those that were too far regressed to consent to adoption were forcibly taken by LIBRA and were in the process of being treated at their centres. They’ll be given the choice if they do manage to recover, and then LIBRA will help them rebuild their life… or sign up to a consensual adoption if they choose that. Of course it would take time for those littles rescued to recover and get their adult mind back, but in the meantime they are taken care of by Amazons who are carefully vetted by LIBRA. Those that are too far gone are made sure that they are only adopted by genuinely caring Amazon parents, or their little families if they are still around and willing to take care of them. Speaking of LIBRA, Claire and Dotty had taken over, using the funds left by Chris to start the centres, taking a more public stance compared to the secretive organisation Chris had run. They met with the new Prime Minister often, trying to guide her new Equalities office to improve things across the country. I helped here and there, but once they had a handle on things, I left them to it, opting to spend more time at home with Charlie. LIBRA not only helped with littles either… They also helped start a research organisation into fixing the declining Amazon birth rate. If the Amazon maternal/paternal instinct could be quelled by having their own children… along with the societal changes we are enacting… maybe they’ll never need to adopt littles. So hopefully they’ll manage to find a solution as to why Amazons are finding it hard to have children, and can fix it. And before you ask… no, not all Amazons were happy with these changes… There were a few protests, but they got like ten people to show up to each one, which in comparison with our millions… made it obvious what our society really wanted. These ancient artefacts needed to move on and progress. So yes, that’s pretty much everything that has happened since everything went to shit six months ago. Massive change, lots of work… and I have finally found a night off that I was fully intending to spend with my wife. “Hey, my love, I’m home!” I called out as I shut the front door to our home. “In the living room. Be quiet though…” Charlie replied from the living room, whispering. “Oh, is she asleep?” I asked, hanging up my coat and walking quietly into the living room. “Yes. She’s been waiting for you to get home. She missed her big sister.” “It’s still cute that she calls me that, especially when she’s like double my size.” I walked in to see Charlie snuggled up on the sofa with a blanket wrapped around her and Nessa, whose huge nappy was sticking out from underneath the bottom of the blanket as she sucked her dummy. Okay… so maybe a bit more has changed since the protests… Whilst Charlie was in hospital, Nessa had spent all that time with my wife, at her bedside, protecting her. So of course during that time they reconnected, and once Charlie was out of the hospital, she properly introduced Nessa to me and we chatted and got close. Turns out Nessa is just as amazing and lovely as Charlie made her out to be. She’s so sweet and kind… and adorable. Once Charlie and I had time to heal regarding our Mummy and baby sides… we arranged for a few playdates with Nessa, as a thank you for everything she did. And whilst I will admit it was a bit weird to be playing with dollies with someone nearly double my height… I quickly bonded with the Amazon adult baby and she became one of my closest friends. So close that whenever she comes over she’s my ‘baby sister’, and Charlie looks after us both. We’re not in a relationship with her or anything, but we have our own little family thing whenever she visits and… look, it’s hard to describe, but Nessa isn’t really interested in relationships right now and Charlie and I are happy just as we are. I just get a baby sister occasionally whenever Nessa stays over, which is every other weekend lately. I love it, as I genuinely love spending time with Nessa, and she looks so freaking adorable all snuggled up with my wife like that. But because she’s here… that means that these adult clothes I had been wearing all day at the office… had to come off. No doubt Nessa will be awake soon and will want to play video games with me, and Charlie insists that if Nessa is a baby, then so am I. I think she just uses that as an excuse to spend more time with her baby girl. And I… I am not complaining. ----------------------------------------- “WIVIE! It’s getting late!” Nessa said, as she looked at the clock, pausing our game and pointing up at the clock. “I’m surprised you can even tell the time. You’re littler than me…” I grinned at her from behind my dummy, looking up at her as I snuggled between her legs, my thick nappy creating a nice little cushion on her feet, and her thick nappy creating a nice little backrest for me, though I swear during the last race my ‘backrest’ got warmer… “Look at my little girls… aren’t you adorable!” Charlie said as she waltzed over and bent down on her heels, ruffling Nessa’s hair and reaching down to give us both kisses on the head. “Hey! Can we have one more game?” I asked. “One more, then you need to be big girls for a bit whilst we get you both ready. Auntie Claire’s having her baby shower and I need to get you both dressed up for the party.” “I’m surprised we get to be dressed up big for it…” I commented, not realising what I had just said. “Oh baby… you’re not going dressed up big… It is a BABY shower after all. Claire has to learn how to change nappies…” “Oh come on! She already knows how to change nappies! This isn’t fair!” I whined, whilst Nessa just blushed and hid her face. She was still getting used to being little around others outside of me and Charlie, but at least she was getting close to my friends, so that she won’t freak out. “Yeah well what Mummy says, goes. You know that. And good job I got you to make a bigger version of that pink dress I love on you so much… Ickle Nessa is going to look absolutely precious!” “EEK!” My ‘baby sister’ squeaked, hugging me tightly like a stuffie. “Oh my god… Liv, you have to make me a dress like that for my little one… You two look like sisters… it’s adorable!” Claire said, looking a lot bigger since the last time I saw her. You’d have thought she would have taken some time off from LIBRA, but last I heard she was just as busy as she was at the start of her pregnancy. Nessa and I blushed as we walked into Claire’s apartment. Well… Nessa waddled in, with a toddler harness on that Charlie held the end for, and I was carried in by my wife, in her arms. Thankfully, we weren’t the only ones being humiliated today, as I looked over to see my friends, all dressed up in their cutest baby clothes, being fussed over by their Amazons. Even Eve was baby talking to Zoey and Sarah, who were snuggled up together on her lap. Amber… she didn’t look so happy, sat on the floor by Gwen, but at least she was looking better than she has in a long time. Thanks to Faith’s discovery, Eve managed to develop something to help Amber recover from her mushy brained state. She still acted babyish occasionally, the baby side of the hypnosis still taking over occasionally, but she was lucid some of the time. Gwen kept her as a baby for the time being, until Amber has recovered enough, even having to adopt her through the new, consensual means. Which meant that Amber understood the need to have Gwen do it, accepting to relinquish control to her friend until the time where she has fully recovered and is able to nullify the adoption. Thankfully, me and my friends had used our many playdates with each other to ease Amber into the whole ‘adult baby’ thing, meaning that she was no longer mortified by being treated like a baby or slipping into her ‘baby brain’. She had always wanted to stay away from baby stuff when she had gained her independence, but at least she accepted it was a part of her life for now, even if it’s not permanent. Which helped her enjoy playing with us. Sometimes I’d even see her getting into it, which made Gwen happy, knowing that she wasn’t making Amber miserable by being her Mummy. Ellie and Danny were here with their Mummy too. Catherine must have had the same idea as Charlie and dressed them both up in matching onesies so they looked like sisters. Which I must admit… was adorable. And made me blush more upon seeing them. Other than this lot though, the only other one invited was Malcolm, the father of the soon-to-be-born child, who awkwardly hovered behind Claire, sipping a glass of whiskey. We knew that our other friends wouldn’t feel so comfortable around all this baby stuff, so whilst we did invite them… we understood why they wouldn’t want to come. Lots of humiliating babyish party games later… and it was present opening time. Claire and her bump carefully sat down as she was passed wrapped gifts one at a time, all whilst I snuggled up with Charlie on one of the chairs. Malcolm let his partner get all the attention and had sat next to us, whispering to me. “So Liv… you’ve only got a few months in office left, right?” He asked. “Yeah. About two. That’s when the election is.” I replied. “A little over a year in office… you sure you want to only have a year?” “Yup. Had enough. Don’t like the press. Don’t like the attention. I wasn’t qualified for my role, I just wanted to make a change.” “And that you did. Whole country got turned upside down thanks to you. So have you any idea what you’re going to do when you finish?” “I… was wondering if you had a position available? Still in need of a designer and seamstress?” I smiled up at him. “I… guess I am. The previous woman I had in was a right baby… worked from home in her nappies… sucking on a dummy… she was good though.” “I missed you too!” I laughed and grinned at him. “It’ll be good to have you back. Though isn’t it a bit boring for you? All your adventures… all this stuff you’ve been through…? It’s not like we’re going to be rescuing any littles or anything anymore. We’ll actually just be running a shop.” “I know. But hey, with the littles going back to work and not being scared to go out… the market is there for little outfits that aren’t babyish.” “I think you’ve got a point. So boss… want to start brainstorming on Monday?” “Boss?” I asked, confused. “You’re the one hiring me…” “We both know who’s in charge.” Malcolm replied. “Yes, me.” Charlie interrupted, kissing my forehead and making me blush and bury my head in her shoulder. I looked at Malcolm and he looked at me, trying to contain our laughter, but it was futile. “Yeah, she’s right…” ----------------------------------------- We arrived home after a very fun baby shower with a very sleepy Nessa in the back of the car with me. “I’ll put Nessa in the spare nursery that I made up for her. Can you be a big girl and go get on the sofa? I need to snuggle with my wife before we get some sleep.” Charlie said as she unbuckled the snoring adorable Amazon adult baby from the car seat and gently lifted her up onto her hip. “You’re so strong…” I commented as I waddled beside my wife up to the front door. “She’s just a very light girl, poor thing. I can tell Madison’s comments about her weight in the past did a number on her…” “Is that why you’re trying to make sure she eats? I wondered why you were so insistent.” “I am. I… want to make up for not standing up against Madison.” “You know she called my office, right?” “Madison did?” Charlie inserted the key into our front door but stopped as she looked at me, clearly surprised. “Yeah, but I wasn’t in. So she left a voice message.” “What did she say?” “Sorry. For everything. She wasn’t looking for forgiveness, just wanted us to know how sorry she was. And that she’s doing something with her life now. She’s… she’s actually working in one of the LIBRA centres opening up.” “Well I still hate her guts. But after helping you whilst I was not myself, and now working to help other littles… maybe I won’t punch her in the face if I ever see her again.” “I don’t blame you if you do though.” “I’m just glad she didn’t completely ruin poor Nessa here.” “Me neither.” “Now, baby girl, go get that cute, padded butt on the sofa and I’ll go get this little one tucked in. Then be prepared to be showered with a million kisses!” “Eeeeek!” ======================================================= Just the epilogue to go! 7. Chapter 39: Rebellion Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess I waited patiently as the Speaker of the House slowly managed to regain order in the Commons. The shouting match between the Prime Minister and our own party had eventually returned to just evil glares, whilst the opposition parties across the aisle all laughed at our inability to maintain order within our own ranks. “Now… with everything going on, I think we ought to hear directly from the person leading the protests… Mrs Olivia Clarke.” The Speaker of the House called out. Everyone cheered in agreement, though the Prime Minister didn’t seem all too happy. “It’s your time… make it count…” Jacob whispered to me as he moved out of the way so I could make my way to the front bench. With amazons towering over me on both sides, I couldn’t help feeling a bit of fear and anxiety as I passed my peers, all of whom looked at me with different emotions on their faces. Some were proud of me, nodding and smiling, including Mrs Carter, who still shocked me that she was a supporter of littles. I swear I remember hearing Jacob talk about her having her own little that she adopted, hence why I didn’t bother looking to her for support, or even friendship… which reminded me that maybe I should have a look into her and see what situation she’s actually in. Because maybe she’s like Catherine, Ellie and Danny’s Mummy… maybe she’s protecting the little. Maybe… just maybe… I was a little too quick to judge. I walked up to the large table in front of the Prime Minister and his ministers, the one separating our party from the opposition. This is where the PM and the leader of the opposition would speak out, along with their cabinet ministers, whereas backbenchers like me would have to speak from our seats. At least now I’d have a microphone so they'd be able to hear me! Downside was… I didn’t see a step stool or anything, which meant either awkwardly asking for one, or climbing on top of the table, which seemed… undignified. “Let’s see her try to get up…” The Prime Minister smirked as he whispered to the Secretary of State next to him. I say he ‘whispered’… he made sure he was loud enough so that I could hear him. But then that’s when the unexpected happened. The Minister for Equalities… whose job it was to carefully oversee equality legislation and encourage fair treatment for all, basically any minority except littles… stood up from the front bench and grabbed something from under his seat, walking ahead of me and placing it down next to the stand. It was… a step stool! “I… thank you…” I said, mumbling my words as I struggled to find the appreciation for such a kind act. One that I genuinely wasn’t expecting. “No, Mrs Clarke, thank you.” He replied, smiling at me. I could feel the hatred from the Prime Minister burning into the back of this relatively unknown Minister’s head. He had clearly gone against orders and directly disobeyed our Prime Minister, something that will probably lead to him getting the whip withdrawn. But that’s the thing… this wasn’t a last minute attempt to save face in front of the majority of our party who seemed to be on our side rather than the PM’s… this guy had the foresight to bring this ahead of time… I smiled at the Equalities Minister and made my way up the step stool so that I was now at head height with the microphone. “I…” I coughed a bit to clear my throat… and to build up the nerves I needed to speak to everyone. Last time I did this, it landed me in hot water with the Prime Minister, and I was fueled by fury and rage last time. This time… I needed to sound civil. I needed to be the better person. I needed… to appear like an adult and not the little baby that most of these people probably saw me as. “I… thank you, Mr Speaker. I… I understand a lot of you are worried right now. The protests have been going on for…” “BECAUSE OF YOU! YOU’RE THE ONE WHO STARTED THEM!” An opposition member shouted, interrupting me. “ORDER!” The Speaker called out. “Yes, I am.” I replied, calmly. “My wife was attacked and left in a coma, so I lashed out at the person who caused it, and due to that outburst… a certain member of my party then tried adopting me.” All eyes turned to the perpetrator, who quickly hid her face in her notes, trying to look less guilty. “Tell me, any of you, would you have acted differently in that moment? Your wife is in a coma, and you find out one of the people you truly trusted… had put her there… that he betrayed everything you thought he stood for…” I heard a few shouts of agreement coming from various parts of the Commons, whereas the people who kept quiet looked very guilty. “I went for the person who betrayed myself and my wife. And I ended up nearly being adopted for doing so. If the public hadn’t helped me… I’d be stuck in a nursery in Mrs Brackenstone’s house, shitting myself…” “Language warning, Mrs Clarke…” The Speaker interrupted. “Sorry, Mr Speaker. But I would be regressed in a crib somewhere, unable to do the job I was elected to do. I’m sorry, but who won us the election? And I’m not talking about myself… I’m talking about the millions of littles who all voted, most of whom for the first time, to get us into power. And they, along with millions of Amazon supporters… have shown us that our party failed them. That our Prime Minister turned his back on those who he should be protecting. We voted for you because you wanted to make the country more fair for littles, but you ended up working closely with Chris Slater…” The Commons erupted into arguments again, which had to be quashed by the Speaker… yet again. “It’s true, isn’t it? You and the head of LIBRA were working closely together. I found out just how close during my time running LIBRA myself…” The Prime Minister’s face turned pale as he realised he was fucked. Funny thing is… I found nothing. It was one of the first things I did when I took over running LIBRA, but I couldn’t find anything linking Chris to the PM. No emails, no calls… nothing. But the pale shade on this man’s face told me everything I needed to know. What had just started as a hunch… had just been confirmed by this traitorous face. “I…” He said, speechless. “So you admit you had dealings with Chris?” I asked. “Yes. In order to improve things for littles across the country…” The Prime Minister responded, lying through his teeth. “Improve things… like… developing Brute Force hypnosis to completely obliterate any little’s mind?” “How did…?” His face dropped in fear. “How did I know? I have a very clever ally who is a bit of an expert in all things tech. She confirmed that the same device used to hypnotise my wife… is the same device that created the brute force hypnosis recordings that is currently being used on littles across the country. “That… that isn’t illegal…” “No, you’re right, it’s not. You vowed to outlaw all forced hypnosis before we got elected. And then as soon as you get your position… you go ahead and create the worst kind imaginable… one that leaves absolutely nothing of the original person left. And not only that… that same device that created it can also be used on Amazons. Imagine that kind of power being used against any of you here today. Being turned into something you’re not. Being reduced to a babbling baby just by accidentally watching the wrong TV show.” I looked around the room, and I could see all of them panic a little inside at the thought of this possibility. For so long they thought themselves so powerful… so… invulnerable… and now they were just as powerless and helpless as the littles they love to adopt. “WHERE IS THIS DEVICE NOW?” The leader of the opposition shouted in a panic. The speaker didn’t tell him off or anything, as I could see that even he was nervously twitching in his seat at the thought of being hypnotised. “I had it dismantled. And all records and copies destroyed. Because I believe that such a device is not safe in anyone’s hands. Amazon or little. It’s why the betrayal of the Prime Minister… after everything he promised… hurts so much.” “So he orchestrated the attack on Mrs Williams?” Mrs Carter stood up and asked. The house erupted into yelling matches again as everyone put two and two together and realised that whilst it was not illegal to use hypnosis on a little… it was definitely assault when it comes to an Amazon. And for the Prime Minister to be in league with Chris when this was going on… “I CALL FOR A VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE IN OUR PRIME MINISTER!” Mrs Carter cried out, above everyone else’s voices. There. That was what I was waiting for. If I had called for it myself… there was no chance I’d even be listened to. I just had to drip feed the information to my party, let them realise what the Prime Minister had actually done… and wait for the ensuing chaos. Waves of hands raised in support, all shouting ‘Aye’. --------------------------------------------------------- “THE AYES HAVE IT, THE AYES HAVE IT.” The speaker announced after a very long, tense vote. I watched as the disgraced Prime Minister was voted out of office, and subsequently arrested for his role in the assault on my wife. And I’d be lying if I said I didn’t find great enjoyment in seeing his usually-smug face look at me with a mix of hatred and guilt as he was paraded out of here with his hands cuffed behind his back by a couple of police officers. He’s lucky I had Faith dismantle that device… otherwise he’d be drooling in a crib somewhere for what he did to my wife. The majority of our party had voted to oust that backstabbing prick, the only people who didn’t were the small handful of the Prime Minister’s cabinet members. Not only did most of our party vote to get rid of him, most of the other political parties did too, and this just left a hole in the leadership position of not only our party… but our government. Which was made all the more scary by the fact that the country really needed stability right now. It needed reassurance, so that the protests would calm down and things would go back to something more peaceful. Not the same, as we can’t go back to the status quo, not after everything we’ve been through, but we definitely need some semblance of peace. Once the large doors shut, the Commons went eerily silent, which after today’s shouting matches… was just uncomfortable. “What do we do now?” Mrs Carter asked, finally breaking the silence. “Who becomes Prime Minister now?” Everyone looked around at each other and shrugged. Clearly no one had any idea. “We don’t really have any kind of succession like other countries. This… this has never happened before.” The Speaker calmly spoke out to all the MPs currently sitting in their bench seats, waiting to be told what happens next now that the corrupt PM is gone. “The Green Democrats need to elect a new leader, and that person will take on the position of interim Prime Minister, until the time in which the people can elect a new Prime Minister.” “So… it’s up to us?” Mrs Carter looked around. “I nominate Mrs Clarke.” My heart stopped. At least that’s what it felt like when everyone turned to look at me. I had quietly taken my seat to cast my vote when the Prime Minister’s fate was up for debate… and now I wanted to retreat further into the chair, away from all these prying eyes. “I agree.” Jacob said. “I would suggest going away and voting…” The Speaker tried to suggest. “No. We’re confident. We nominate Mrs Clarke.” “This is highly unprecedented… but then everything going on lately is. The country is in chaos. We need leadership. Mrs Clarke… do you accept this nomination?” The Speaker of the Commons turned to ask me. “I…” “Well?” “Liv… do it! Say yes!” Dotty said into my earpiece, followed by Faith, who was also in on the call, suggesting I should definitely do it. “I…” ======================================================= My new story just had it's second chapter on SubscribeStar, so expect it here in a couple of weeks (at least that's the current plan). 8. Chapter 38: Emergency Meeting Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess I stood at the gates of the Parliament building, looking at the two intimidating amazon police officers guarding the entrance. All I had to do was walk straight past them… but once I had, I was vulnerable. The protestors were on this side of the fence, and I would be surrounded by only amazons on that side, most of whom must hate my guts now. At least I didn’t have to fear being arrested anymore. Though if things don’t work out… arrest isn’t the ‘a’ word I was worried about. At least legally they couldn’t adopt me now that Charlie was up and back to normal, she would be my Mummy if anything did happen regarding my adult status. I felt a squeeze on my shoulder, and looking up, I saw a very worried Claire looking down at me. “I’ll be fine.” I reminded her. This wasn’t the first time today I had told her, but I don’t think any amount of me lying through my teeth was going to make Claire feel better about this situation. She kept insisting to go with me, that Charlie had told her to keep me safe, that she would do anything to protect me… but the guards were not going to let her in with me. That’s when someone I hadn’t seen in a while walked over and stood right in front of me. “Hi there, Liv.” Jacob said, grinning at me. “You’ve been busy… and pissing off the right people, it seems!” “Jacob!” I replied, running over to my colleague’s arms as he bent down on one knee and held his arms open for me. I gave him the biggest hug and then stepped back a couple of paces whilst he stayed on one knee so he could continue to talk to me at my height. “I heard you were expected to attend, though I never thought you’d actually turn up. Aren’t you afraid of…” “Being arrested? Arrest warrant withdrawn, didn’t you hear? And as for adoption? Charlie is back to normal, so if anything did happen, I belong to her.” I smiled up at him, trying to put on a brave face. “Charlie is okay? Oh thank god… I’m sorry I didn’t get in touch sooner. The boss didn’t want us talking to you or your friends. Wanted as much distance as possible. And I didn’t want to lose my seat to another one of his ‘friends’.” “I don’t blame you, Jacob. I’m glad you didn’t get yourself removed, we’re going to need you.” “What for? I heard this is an emergency meeting to talk to you about resolving these protests and getting everything back to normal. Though the fact he called for the whole parliament to get together and discuss it, instead of talking to you in private, makes me think he’s got something up his sleeve regarding you, something he’ll need a vote on.” “Ha! Normal… Yeah no… we’re not doing that. Not any more. This is the time for change. I’m gonna drag that wheezebag into this century kicking and screaming if need be.” “So you’re really going to challenge him, before he can challenge you?” Jacob looked surprised. “What other opportunity will I have?” “I… well if it means anything, you have my full support. I… I’ll back anything you suggest in there.” “Thanks. I knew I could trust you.” I said, smiling up at him. “I wanted to help people. Amazons and littles. And our party has been taken over by a corrupt few, intent on destroying what trust the public had in us. I just hope… more of our party sees it too.” “Don’t worry, I’m sure they will.” That’s when I heard a cough coming from behind me. “So…” Claire began, interrupting our conversation. “You’re ‘Jacob’... I can see why Liv trusts you.” “You can see that just from looking at me?” Jacob replied, turning his gaze to Claire, who was hovering behind me. “That… and the very thorough background check I ran on you when Liv first got her position.” “You…?” “Don’t worry, she does that with all my friends. Though only if they’re amazons.” I said, laughing awkwardly. “I… well I guess I’m flattered. And I’m happy Olivia has a friend so… dedicated… to keeping her safe.” Jacob replied, even more awkwardly. “And that’s why you’re going to take care of her.” Claire said… the only one with a serious face right now. “Huh?” Jacob said, standing up and looking at her, confused. “I can’t go in, the police won’t let me. But you… you can go in. I trust you, because Liv trusts you. I want you to keep an eye on her and make sure if anything does happen… you will get her to safety. Can you do that?” “I… I can try.” “No, I need you to promise. Because if you betray her, I will hunt…” “Claire! He’ll keep me safe, won’t you, Jacob?” I interrupted, worrying for the safety of my friend. “Yeah. I’ll… I’ll protect you, Liv. Just… if there is trouble, stay close.” He replied, nodding at me. I smiled and nodded back at him, before turning to Claire to give her the ‘it’s okay, you can stand down now’ look. She bent down and fixed my blazer and shirt, before turning me around and whispering in my ear. “Be careful in there. And don’t let them walk over you. They are desperate.” I nervously gripped my sleeves as I stepped foot into the enormous, very old, hall. Just moments before, it was a noisy, bustling hub of people all arguing at each other. You could even hear the speaker trying to keep order, but no one was listening to him. I wondered just what I had gotten myself into. Because if they hadn’t had their minds changed by now… there was no hope for getting anything done today. But now, as soon as we walked in, or to be more specific, as soon as I walked in… it was as silent as a graveyard. Everyone had stopped and turned to look at me, and the silence was deafening. Jacob stood by my side, and I could even hear him gulp in fear at having all these people looking at us. “Mrs Clarke…” the Speaker of the House announced, finally breaking the silence. “Glad you could join us. And apparently, also do my job better than I could. Now, if you’ll all take your seats, we have some important business to attend to.” I nodded and smiled awkwardly at the Speaker, who just ignored me, before I walked over to my place on the back benches with Jacob following close behind me. I could see the majority of the House all looking at me as they took their seats, whispering to each other and giving me snide looks from across the Commons, so I tried my best to ignore them and try to get through this in one piece. Ideally with my mind intact. “Mr Prime Minister…” The Speaker announced. “Please…” The Prime Minister, who always looked like a snobby arsehole anyway, got up with his little book in hand, walked over to the stand and placed it down, open. “My honourable…” “OH SHUT UP!” A woman yelled, interrupting the PM before he even had a chance to introduce himself to the chamber. My eyes widened as the hundreds of MPs all looked over at the origin of the yelling. “Excuse me…?” The Prime Minister replied. “We don’t want to listen to whatever bullshit you come out with!” The woman continued. “ORDER! ORDER!” The Speaker said, trying to maintain decorum. “No, fuck order! Have you seen it out there? The people want his head!” I was still trying to find the source of this brave soul who had spoken up against our corrupt leader. But what I could tell… was that it was coming from our side of the Commons, which means… it’s one of our own members! A second later, a small group of people started mumbling, sounding like they were agreeing with her and trying to rally support for this woman. I took one look at Jacob, who just… smiled at me. “Who… who is that?” I asked him. “Just watch…” He replied, still smiling. I looked over to the source of the commotion to see one of the Amazons on our side stand up. She was… one of the backbench MPs, just a nobody MP from the middle of the country. She didn’t have any ministerial position, she never appeared in the news, she was just… a nobody. But here she was, standing up against our leader. Lorna Carter. I think that was her name. She never interacted with me, I never interacted with her. I only knew she existed because Jacob had told me a little about her a while ago, saying she wasn’t like the others in leadership. She looked like a nobody too, with a brown bob of hair and a cheap suit… you could tell the difference between those in charge of our party and the majority of the MPs who won them the election. She had a kind face, one that made me think that maybe I had more allies than I thought… maybe they were just too scared to show themselves? Until now that is. Because it wasn’t just her standing up, it was a group surrounding her, all of whom were Amazons, all supporting her and cheering as she argued with the Prime Minister. “The country is on the brink of collapse, all because you turned your back on those who won you the election. Littles. You promised them so much… then turned around and threw them under the train.” She continued. The number of MPs agreeing with her started getting larger and larger, with more and more of them standing up to show their support, even some from the smaller parties. “You wormed your way into our party, winning people with false promises, installing people who followed your instructions… all so you could throw littles under the first chance you could.” That’s when I heard a slight bit of static suddenly. “Liv?” I heard in my ear. Thankfully, due to the commotion, I could quietly reply to the person trying to talk to me. “Faith? Is that you? How… how did you get on LIBRA’s frequency?” I whispered back. I had the common sense to put an earpiece in my ear before coming to this discussion, as I knew the Prime Minister wouldn’t be broadcasting this, despite most meetings in the Commons being streamed to the public. So with the help of Dotty, we were at least recording the hearing so we could let the public see what kind of leader the Prime Minister really is, hoping that maybe it’ll give us more ammo to use against him. What I hadn’t expected… was Faith getting in touch through it. “I contacted them when I couldn’t get in touch with you. I have an important update.” Faith replied, sounding… excited. “I can’t right now, Faith… I’m kinda in the middle of…” I whispered. “A meeting? I know. But this…” “Faith, another time, please…” “It’s to do with the device…” “I… Faith, can it wait? I need to wait for my oppor…” “LIV, IT’S THE SOURCE OF THE BRUTE FORCE HYPNOSIS!” I stood there, in stunned silence, as the House of Commons erupted into back and forth shouting between the Prime Minister, the opposition, and the rebel faction of our own government. “I… wait… you mean…” “I was taking it apart after… you know… and I was rooting around the code. And I can’t believe I missed it the first time, the base code that reprograms an Amazon’s mind when it hypnotises them, is the same code that I saw when I did a little research into the brute force thing for your friend.” Faith explained, sounding like a kid explaining their special interest. “You… were…?” “Helping Eve? Yeah, once I fixed Charlie, Eve asked me for help regarding your friend, Amber. I didn’t think I could help, but I managed to obtain one of the tapes used to ‘brute force’ hypnotise littles and look through the original code. Which means I’m pretty certain it originated from the device. It’s how it managed to bypass both yours and also Charlie’s nanite defence, albeit with massively reduced effectiveness. Which means that Chris…” “...created the hypnosis to use on littles… his own kind…” “Exactly.” “Thanks, Faith.” “That’s not all… I think I could reverse the effects. It won’t be a quick and simple fix, it’ll probably take months of rehabilitation, maybe even a year or two, but with Eve’s nanites, and my old code that I used for yours… I could… maybe make something to reverse the majority of the effects.” “You…” “Liv? Are you okay?” Jacob asked, interrupting both my conversation with my sister and my own thoughts. “I… think I just found something wonderful.” I replied to him. “Faith, I’ll talk to you later. You and Eve work on that. If we can save Amber… and all the other littles…” “I know. Morgan said she’s on her way to help too. So I’ll talk to you later. Good luck!” Faith replied, sounding more hopeful than I have heard her in a long time. I turned to Jacob, smiling from ear to ear. “What’s up? What did you find?” He asked. “A smoking gun.” ======================================================= Nice early chapter for you all, so I can have the rest of the day free to do fun stuff with friends Enjoy! 9. Chapter 37: Reconsideration Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess “Mrs Clarke…” “Yes, Prime Minister?” “I… apologise for my behaviour yesterday.” “I accept your apology.” I replied, my heart feeling like it was going to beat through my chest at any moment. But no matter how much my anxiety was killing me right now, I held on to my emotions and tried to sound as professional as possible. This was an important conversation and I couldn’t mess it up. It had been an exhausting day. Once I finished with Faith, I went back to check on Charlie, to see if she was feeling any different. And after lots of cuddle time with her, I headed back to LIBRA HQ, where I continued to run things. It was shortly after I arrived back at LIBRA HQ that the Prime Minister tried to get in touch with me, telling Dotty that he needed to speak to me as soon as possible. Now… I could have returned the Prime Minister’s follow-up call straight away… but I wanted to leave him sweating for a bit, so I waited until late this evening to contact him. This meant that we managed to free a few littles from police custody that afternoon during that time, as they were on the way to be processed in an adoption centre far from the protests. The police had tried to sneak them through, knowing that the protests would prevent them from processing them at any nearby centres. But thanks to our intel, we had people mobilise and stop the police vans, freeing the littles inside. There were a few incidents on the west side of the city, but we managed to keep control, the police losing ground once again and having to fall back. The people had spoken. They wanted the government held accountable for their betrayal. They wanted littles to gain the rights we so desperately deserve. And now that we have the support of the majority of Amazons, we actually had… power. Sure, this was just seen as ‘unrest’ due to ‘unruly littles’ on all foreign news channels, they all attributed this unrest to my election win, using this turmoil to further their own anti-little agenda. But a part of me hoped that maybe our little rebellion may just plant the seeds in other countries, maybe leading to those changing their laws regarding littles and their adoption. But that was a future worry. For now, we still had this fight on our hands. The police were losing ground, the media were in a frenzy, attacking us from all sides, trying to turn people against us, but finally… no one was listening to them. People were thinking for themselves. Amazons stood shoulder to… well… okay, we barely reach their thighs but still, you get the idea. We had a chance at real change and this was the most important fight in our lifetimes. I just… I just wish I had Charlie with me right now. At least she’s awake now, and back to normal. “I would like to meet.” The Prime Minister said down the phone, sounding… nervous. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting him to call this soon. I figured it would have taken him a while to get to this stage, but no… here he was, grovelling. At least I’d like to imagine he is grovelling, it’s a pleasant thought after everything he’s put me through. “You’ll excuse me if I don’t feel safe meeting with you at this current time.” I replied. “You’ll have to… if you want me to even consider passing this bill of yours through the Commons.” He replied. “And you’ll just have me arrested as soon as I step foot in any public venue.” “Your arrest warrant has been withdrawn. I promise you, you will be treated fairly… as if you were one of us.” “One of who? See, Mr Prime Minister, this is why you’re losing the support of people. You still see it as you vs us. Amazons vs littles. When we’re more similar than you think.” “Sorry… I… I mean you’ll be treated fairly. I promise.” “Sorry if your promises mean nothing to me, but if I am to meet you… I’ll be bringing the people with me. You try anything and the public will react.” “I understand. I’ve scheduled an emergency hearing at the Commons tomorrow. ALL MPs must attend. That includes you…” He growled, sounding annoyed. “So I’m still an MP?” I asked, with all the snark I could muster. “You were elected, weren’t you?” He replied to that, sighing. “I’ll be there. But again, I’d just like to remind you what happened the last time one of our party tried to adopt me. You understand that if you do arrest me after promising my safety, this will go from protesting… to something much worse.” “I understand. No one will arrest or adopt you, Mrs Clarke. If you don’t turn up, however…” “I understand. I’ll be there.” I cut him off before he could make yet another threat towards me. “See you tomorrow then.” He said, hanging up the phone in frustration. I sighed and clutched my head, my anxiety was causing my heart to pound a mile a minute and I knew it was only going to be a hundred times worse tomorrow. “You think he will actually keep his word?” Dotty asked, turning around in her chair. “No idea. But he knows what will happen if he doesn’t.” I shrugged. “We can’t keep you safe if you enter the House of Commons. They’ll have guards there. Ones with guns.” “Then move the protests there. But order them to be civil. We don’t want anyone getting hurt, and we want to appear reasonable and open to discussion… but we need to have a show of force in case the Prime Minister goes back on his word.” “I think we can manage that.” Dotty grinned up at me from her workstation. “Liv… one second…” I heard heavy footsteps jogging behind me as I walked down the corridor to my room, where I had hoped to try and get some rest for tomorrow, as no doubt it would be the most important, but also the most difficult, day so far. “Yeah, Claire? What’s up?” I asked, turning around to look up at my Amazon friend hovering over me. “We didn’t get a chance to talk about Charlie.” “What about her?” I asked. “Is she okay? Is she… you know… herself?” “Seems like it.” I replied, shrugging. “She seems like her normal self.” “I’m glad. Did the machine help Faith at all? I know we handed it to her so she could reverse engineer its effects, did she get anything from it?” “I… yeah, she did. She managed to fix Charlie thanks to it. So thank you!” “Oh good! I’m glad. So… what’s happening to that machine? It’s… it's a dangerous piece of equipment. We should get it back here and lock it up.” “I… I’d rather it not be here, Claire.” I said, sounding as serious as I could. I wasn’t going to back down on this, and I didn’t want her trying to convince me. “Why?” “Because it’s too dangerous. It can rewrite any Amazon’s or little’s mind.” “So what’s happening to it?” “I… dismantled it.” “You…? But…” “It’s… gone. All we need to do now is make sure any copies or design documents are destroyed too, as well as ensure that Chris never gets a chance to create another. Do you know who designed it?” “I… well it was a little here, in fact. But she thought she was creating the device to help LIBRA, not help Chris’ insane plans. Once it was finished, Chris took control of the project and booted her from it.” “Then I’d like to meet this little, make sure she’s not siding with Chris in all this, so that this never gets recreated.” “...Okay. I trust you, Liv.” Claire sighed, smiling at me. “I’ll keep an eye on her for now, but I’ll schedule a meeting for you, with her, tomorrow, before you go to your emergency meeting.” “Thanks Claire. I’m glad I have such good friends I can trust.” She nodded and smiled again, before walking off, leaving me alone outside my room. “I better get some sleep. Maybe… maybe I’ll give Charlie a call before I do though. I… I miss her.” I said to myself. ------------------------------------ “Hey, my love. What are you doing up so late?” Charlie asked, sounding groggy on the other end of the phone. I had retreated to my private little room, closing the door and locking it to ensure I had some privacy, before laying on my makeshift bed, fully clothed still. “Me? You sound like you’re more tired than me!” I replied. “I just had a nap.” “Oh shit, did I wake you?” “No, I… I had a bad dream. I was awake anyway.” “What about?” “I… it’s nothing, sweetie.” “Are you sure? You know I’m always here…” “I know, my love, but I’m fine. Just… flashbacks of what I did to you.” Charlie said, sounding upset. “It wasn’t you…” “I know, but it… it still bothers me. All those times I thought I was going to meet my publisher, only to have my mind slowly rewritten by that arsehole…” “It’s okay now, Char. You’re back to normal. And everything that happened didn’t stick.” “You mean your hypnosis? You were still affected, Liv. The humiliation and fear you must have endured…” “Shush. It’s not your fault. It wasn’t you.” “Ha. The nightmares say otherwise.” “I promise you, Charlie, it’s okay!” I said, trying to comfort my wife. “I’ll make it up to you, I promise you that. But anyway, you never answered my question. What are you doing up so late?” She asked. “I called the Prime Minister back, finally. He’s calling an emergency meeting tomorrow in the Commons. ALL MPs are required to attend.” “Including you?” “Including me.” “What about…?” “Being arrested? Apparently not an issue. But we’re arranging the protests to move there just in case.” “Liv… I don’t like that. It sounds like a trap.” “It probably is. But I have to risk it.” “What about…?” “I’ve got a plan, Charlie. I promise, I’ll be okay if anything does happen. Trust me, I’ve been thinking a lot this past week, and I’ve come up with some safeguarding measures.” “I trust you, Olivia. Just… be careful, okay? I want my wife back when I get out of this hospital. I want to take you home, snuggle you, and never let you out of my sight.” There was an awkward pause, before she realised how she sounded. “Sorry! I… you know what I mean. I… didn’t mean to sound like I did before, I…” “Charlie, it’s okay. I understand. I think we’re both due some time to get back to our normal selves and our normal rhythm. Once this is all over, we’ll order takeout food all week, snuggle, watch movies, and play video games.” “Oh, so that’s the price I have to pay then? I have to play your games with you?” She laughed down the phone. “That… and you owe me like a billion kisses.” “A billion? Oh dear… does that include interest?” “No, you’ve got interest on that too. So you better get started as soon as we get home.” I smiled. She couldn’t see me smiling on a phone call, but I liked to think she could tell anyway. “I think I can manage that, my love. Just make sure you get home. If you end up getting adopted or arrested… no one will be able to stop me from getting you back.” “I don’t doubt that. I’d hate to be someone who gets in your way.” “I should let you get some sleep now, Liv. You’ve got a busy day tomorrow by the sounds of it. So please, promise me you’ll be careful. And be careful around that MP that tried to adopt you.” “Oh I can’t wait to see her face when I walk in tomorrow!” I joked. “I bet you can’t, you little minx. Just be careful, okay? Amazons will sink to any low to get what they want. Especially if it means getting to adopt a little. Their maternal instincts… she’ll do anything to adopt you.” “Don’t worry… I bet she’s had a change of heart since I last saw her. Plus after getting pinned in at the adoption centre when she tried to adopt me, I doubt she’ll be even considering trying to adopt me again, not with all the protesters outside. Remember, we have the backing of the majority of the people.” “The protests may be huge, Liv, but even then that isn’t the whole country. Otherwise the society would have come to a standstill.” Charlie said, making a good point. “I know, but that doesn’t mean they don’t support us. If our data is correct, we could have even bigger protests if the government tries to go any further with their plans at removing the rights of littles. And the protests we’ve had already have disrupted the country a lot this past week.” “I know, I just… I don’t want you to think you’re invincible, my love. You’re capable of great things, but you’re still just a vulnerable little girl inside. And it’s a Mumm… wife’s job to keep your feet on the ground and keep you safe.” “I know. I… I’ll be fine.” I replied, feeling a little more anxious now about the whole thing. “Now get some sleep, okay sweetie?” Charlie said, sounding worried. I could hear it in her voice, she was clearly worrying about me and I knew that there was nothing I could do about it. She always worries about me, but this… this sounded worse than usual. “If I can.” “How… How about a bedtime story? That usually helps you get to sleep? Oh… sorry… I… nah, it’s okay…” Charlie said, sounding guilty and backing down in an instant. “No…” I replied, taking a deep breath and gathering the courage to ask, “...that would be nice…” “Really?” Her voice perked up. “Okay then, why don’t you get snuggled up, then tell me when you’re ready.” ======================================================= Little in Love 2 just had it's epilogue on my SubscribeStar! 10. Chapter 36: Offer Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess “Miss Clarke…” “Mrs. I’m a married woman, SIR.” I replied, trying to pull all my snark together into one sentence. “If you can even make it through this without being declared immature and ending up back in nappies…” The Prime Minister responded with his own snark that made him sound like he was in control. But we both knew that wasn’t true, otherwise he wouldn’t be contacting me. “If anyone is incompetent and in need of re-raising… it's you, Sir. Going against the will of the people… even from the start… that’s a pretty idiotic thing to do…” “As if they know what is best for the country.” He scoffed. “I thought you had values.” “I do. And those values include knowing what is best for all littles. And that involves nurseries, regular changings and all responsibility taken away from you.” “I thought the party always supported littles. At least… enough to give us some freedom. That's why I agreed to join you.” “They did. That’s what made it so easy to make my way to a prominent leadership role and form the cabinet I desired. I do believe in a lot the Green Democrats aspire for… but not when it comes to littles.” He sounded so cocky. “And you’ve been working with Chris Slater this entire time.” “He’s the only little I actually admire. He had an Amazon mind in a little’s body, and I promised him great things. Shame you had to attack him like that.” “So what do you want, Sir…?” “I want you to call off this silly tantrum, this instant.” He barked at me. “Tantrum? Is that what you think this is? You think we’re just having a strop because we didn’t get what we want?” “Exactly that. So call it off, Mrs Clarke, otherwise I’ll have to resort to…” “Using hypnosis on an unwilling population, mass scale? Arresting people for protesting lawfully?” “They are rioting…” “Some are. A tiny minority are using this unrest as a great opportunity to steal and destroy stuff. But most who are being arrested are peacefully protesting. It’s your police force that are…” “Oh come off it. As if a little knows anything about how the world works.” He laughed. “I know a lot more about the cruelty of this world than you do. And unlike you, I’ve met people from other worlds and seen how they treat others less privileged. Some treat others with disdain, sure, but most try to treat minorities with kindness and respect. We need to follow their example. Littles need equal rights.” “Littles need a sharp spanking and an early bedtime.” He snapped angrily at me. “I can see this is going nowhere. You’re unreasonable.” I sighed. “And you’re a little brat.” “Sir…? Go fuck yourself.” And with that, I hung up on him. There was an awkward silence filling the room. “So… no offer then?” Dotty asked, finally breaking it. “No offer. He won’t even listen to reason, let alone a little’s demands.” I replied, trying to keep my anger in check now that that was over. “What now then?” She asked. “We continue. We shut down more of the country. Get our message out. Get more of the population joining with us. They have a dwindling police force and no backup from the armed forces, they can only hold out so long.” “But what…” Dotty asked before being cut off. “I’m proud of you, Olivia.” Claire said, pulling me in for a hug. “I would have said much worse to that human stain.” “I… I need to see Charlie now, if that’s okay?” I asked around the room. “Of course, hun. Dotty, you got control for a few hours?” Claire asked Dotty. Dotty just nodded and smiled up at her, before turning to me and smiling more. “I’ll… be back soon…” I returned the smile, waving goodbye to my newest friend and ally. ----------------------------------------------------------------- “CHARLIE!” I screamed, running through the doorway, leaping up onto the huge hospital bed and pouncing on my wife, who seemed surprised by my sudden appearance. Claire had snuck me out of LIBRA HQ and through the city, before sneaking me into the hospital, as this was probably one of the locations they were looking out for me most. “L… Liv?” Charlie replied, her face lighting up upon seeing me. “Is it you? As in… the real you?” I asked, pulling my face up from her chest long enough to ask it. “I… think so. I… Liv… I…” “It’s okay! I’m glad you’re…” “No, I have to say something… I…” “No, Charlie, it’s okay, you don’t have to say anything.” “I do though. I… I’m sorry. I’m sorry for putting you through that.” Tears started streaming down her cheeks. “It’s okay, Charlie, seriously, it wasn’t you.” I replied, holding back my own tears as best I could. “It was though. Those were my maternal urges… I just… I couldn’t control them.” “So? We’ve been together for years now, and you’ve handled them well. It wasn’t until Chris…” “Chris…? Chris did… this… to me?” “Yeah, he was working with the Prime Minister and wanted to knock me down a peg… or a hundred.” “I’ll kill…” She clenched her fists in a fit of pure rage, so I quickly placed my small hand on her much larger one, and thankfully that was enough for her to come back to me. “I… nearly did.” I admitted. “What happened? I came to and Nessa of all people was sitting here with me. That was a huge surprise after all these years! She told me she met you and that you told her to come watch over me whilst apparently the country is going to shit?” “Language…” I grinned up at her. “Oi! Don’t you start, little missy! I… ugh, no, sorry… that just… feels weird now…” “No, it’s okay, I think it’ll take a lot of time and even more therapy to process what happened so we can get back to our normal Mummy/baby thing.” “I… didn’t do too much damage did I? I remember flashes of it… but… that’s about it. Like I was in the passenger seat… but only for some of it.” “You used that brute force hypnosis stuff on me, which I must admit… wasn’t fun.” “How… how are you…?” Her voice quivered, she was worried. “Still me? Nanites, thankfully. Though it did actually affect me at first.” “Oh good!” She breathed a sigh of relief. “Speaking of which… how am I back to normal now?” “Faith is here. She’s been working with the device that turned you into that… person… and managed to reverse engineer what happened to your brain and fix it.” “Remind me to thank her. And Eve. Again. Also… when did you and Nessa meet? I… always thought you two would get along, and it makes me so happy to see you did. I just wish I kept in touch with her…” “She saved my life when I ran from the police during the protests.” I laughed, awkwardly. “You… ran… from the police?” “I… yeah… there may or may not be a warrant out for my arrest…” “Olivia…” She looked at me, sternly, using that disapproving voice she only saves for special occasions. ‘Uh oh. Full name… I’m in trouble.’ “Look, over half the population is protesting up and down the country, the government is corrupt and the unrest was already a powder keg just waiting for a spark. My near-adoption and the press event was the spark that lit it up.” I explained, hoping it would make her worry about me less. “Your near…? OLIVIA! What the hell happened whilst I was out of it?” Charlie sounded scared again… “I… I’ll catch you up. But I’ll have to leave in about an hour or so, LIBRA still needs my help.” “You’re helping LIBRA? After everything Chris did…?” “I’m leading them.” I grinned at her, awkwardly. “You’re… well, I guess that was a natural progression for you. You just can’t help but get involved when people need you, can you?” She smiled at me, warmly. “Like Mummy, like baby…” “Touché. Fine, well… just… be careful, okay baby?” Yeah… it still felt weird her calling me that. I guess that’s going to take a while for me to be okay with again. “I… I will.” “So, snuggle up and tell me about everything that has been going on…” “Charlie? Oh hey, Liv!” Faith said from the door just after I told Charlie about what my earlier conversation with the Prime Minister was about. I had told Charlie all about the speech, the incident with Chris, the near adoption, the protests, Nessa saving me, and then all about working with LIBRA to keep things going. And the entire time she had this face that was full of fear… and pride. We had avoided the awkward subject of what happened whilst she was… you know… ‘not herself’. I think that was going to be our unspoken thing for a while, until we let it all out in therapy. Ellie has got her work cut out for her… “Hey Faith, thanks for healing Charlie and getting her back on her feet.” I said to my sister. “Ah ah! No getting out of bed yet! I may have fixed the damage, but there is still some healing to do. The brain is a complex and sensitive thing to mess about with. At least that’s what Eve told me to tell you. So bed rest for you, okay Charlie?” Faith replied, sounding just like Charlie does when she’s trying to be all dominant with me. Charlie just smiled and nodded at Faith, who smiled back at her. “So… Liv…?” Faith said, shifting on her feet like she had some big secret she wanted to say, but couldn’t. “What’s up?” I asked. “Can… Can I talk to you outside for a moment?” “Sure! Charlie… are…?” I was about to ask my wife if she was okay with me leaving her for a bit, but as usual, she knew what I was going to say before I even said it. I’m glad we’re still on that wavelength at least, even if our Mummy/baby stuff is out of whack right now. “I’ll be fine. The nurses here are wonderful and Eve said she’d be here soon to give me another scan. Plus I have Nessa outside, keeping watch. So go, help her with whatever she needs, I’ll be fine. But promise to come back, I need more kisses from my wife!” “I… fine. Now I’m definitely coming back straight away, I missed you!” “I missed you too.” Charlie replied, grabbing my cheeks with her hands and pulling me forwards, planting a soft, cute little kiss on my forehead, before lifting me off the bed effortlessly and patting my butt, making me scoot away quickly. “What is it, Faith?” I asked as we walked into a little room that we had walked down multiple corridors to get to. It was empty, with no-one nearby, not even in the hallway outside. Faith really liked the isolation it seemed, and this benefited me because I had to stay hidden, just in case this place was being surveilled. “I fixed it.” She said, closing the door behind us, leaving me in this little room with nothing but a table, some tools, and a bunch of mechanical scraps. “Fixed what?” “The device.” She said, pointing to a small box-shaped device on the table with a little console on one of its faces. ‘That… that’s the simple, innocent-looking thing that broke Charlie…’ I thought to myself, feeling anger surge through my body. “Wait, it needed fixing?” I asked. “When I got my hands on it, I could tell that Slater guy and his tech team had tried to create this so it would work on a mass scale, something akin to the tech the Amazons use on littles through televisions. This would be really hard to trace, no one would even know what was happening until it was too late, but they never got it to work on anything mass scale. It uses soundwaves to…” “Another time, Faith. So what did you fix exactly?” I asked. “I’ve gotten it so the soundwaves can actually be broadcast through anything. Televisions, radios, phone signals… whatever. Just one press of the button and it’ll broadcast whatever subliminal message you want to send into the minds of Amazons… or littles in fact. If activated, it would send out a signal wirelessly, broadcasting it on any nearby devices. And if those devices are connected to the internet or through cables… then it would spread like a virus, sending the message through the whole system. You can limit how far it goes, but yeah… this could go everywhere.” “So this…” “Could turn the Amazons into mindless babies, just like what they do to littles.” “That… sounds dangerous.” I replied. “Oh it is! Imagine if Chris used this tech mass scale. I know he used it on that Madison woman, and on Charlie… but imagine the power he could have over anyone!” “I’m glad we uncovered it all before he had a chance. This machine… should be destroyed.” “But Liv… this… this could solve everything. Make Amazons into mindless babies…” “That would be cruel and unjust, plus who would take care of all those Amazons? Not like littles can just step up… we’re not as strong or tall as they are.” “Oh I agree, I don’t think I could ever do that to them. But what about just making them more… open minded?” Faith suggested. “Open minded?” I asked, confused. “To littles. To equality. You could make them agree to your Littles Equality Act thing. You could fix the country in seconds. You could fix the world…” “I… that does sound tempting. No more protests needed. No more fighting. No more illegal adoptions… we couldn’t use it on other countries though, if it did get noticed it could be considered an act of war… I…” I was speechless. This… this was bigger than any one person. Using it on Madison was… okay, I guess… but this… “Faith… this is too much power for anyone.” “Oh I agree!” “Then why did you fix it?” “I… look, I see something not working, I have to fix it just to prove that I can! Plus I needed to test the new update I’m going to upload to Charlie’s nanites to protect her from this in the future.” “I…” I sighed and put my palm to my forehead. “We need to destroy it.” “That’s okay, I know how to disable it and take it apart so that no one can rebuild it. As long as we make sure Chris doesn’t have copies and can’t rebuild it himself… we’ll be okay.” She grabbed a screwdriver and sat down at the desk, pulling the device close to her. But just as she began to unscrew the plate on the front, I felt something within me push me forward… a feeling of unease, as internally I could feel conflict within my conscience. “Faith… stop…” I said, placing my hand over the small console on the front of the device, hovering mere inches above the keypad. 11. Chapter 35: Unrest Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess “And so unrest consumes the country for a fifth day.” The news reporter began their segment. “There is a warrant out for Ms Clarke’s arrest, as she is believed to be the instigator of the protesting and rioting, after her adorable speech earlier this week.” My team and I stood around the monitors, watching the latest propaganda news segment being broadcast. “Does this…?” I began to ask Dotty, who was sitting at the computer, looking exhausted. “Have subliminal hypnosis intended for littles? Yes. Thankfully we have our filter program which blocks out any hypnosis they are trying to push into our heads.” Dotty explained to me. “Otherwise we’d be giving up the fight and giving in, shitting ourselves as we babble incessantly.” “Exactly. Thankfully, most littles are either already out protesting and aren’t watching the news, mostly they avoid the news because they know it’s dangerous for them, or they were already adopted and regressed. The Amazons think this will work, but they really underestimate us. This will barely affect any littles.” “Right, I need to…” “You need to get some rest, Olivia.” Dotty said to me, trying to sound stern. “I’m fine.” “You’ve barely been sleeping since you took over. You’re doing a great job, and we’re helping as many protesters as possible, especially the littles. We’ve infiltrated the systems the Amazons are using, to keep one step ahead of them and try to disrupt them as best we can. But you need to sleep.” “I’ll sleep once this is over.” I replied, sounding more like a brat than a leader. “When do you think this will end? Today? Tomorrow? Or will this continue for weeks? Months? Years?” She said, raising her eyebrow at me. “Don’t care. I’ll have a nap later.” “You’ll have a nap, right now, missy…” I heard a voice coming from the entrance to LIBRA’s hidden operation. “Oh hey Claire!” I responded. “How is Malcolm?” “He’s helping organise things on the east side of the city. Eve has got the hospital locked down, only allowing littles through who have been regressed by the police or by the police’s Amazon allies.” Claire responded, walking over to me. “And what about Charlie? Is she okay?” “That friend of hers is looking after her. She says Charlie is fine for now, but still no sign of her waking up.” I sighed, trying to rub the tiredness from my eyes, as I looked back to the monitors. “This can’t go on forever. It’s bad out there. Maybe not warzone bad, but it’s still bad for everyone involved, especially littles.” I said, groggily. “How does this end?” Dotty asked, looking away from her screen at me. “Either we win, the people get what they want, and we enact real change for the betterment of everyone in this country… or we all lose and we end up shitting our nappies and sucking on our toes in nurseries across the country.” “Can I go for option A?” She smiled awkwardly at me. “We’ve heard no comment from the government, they don’t seem to be backing down, so we have to prepare ourselves for option B…” “At least you’ll have a great Mummy…” Dotty laughed, awkwardly. “As if they’d let me stay with my wife… they’ll declare her unfit to be a mother and put me with some little-hating arsehole who will wipe my mind.” “Girls… let's move away from this topic, I can see you both visibly shaking.” Claire said, thankfully distracting us both. “The west and north sides of the city have got their assignments and everything is being handled.” “And the south?” I asked. “Not heard back from them yet. I was going to go check in on them…” I quickly interrupted her. “Can I come?” “Liv… we know it’s too dangerous for you to leave. Not now anyway, not with the police looking for you and every anti-little Amazon out there trying to be the one to adopt you.” “But I’m getting a little stir crazy in here…” I wasn’t exaggerating, being stuck in this place for nearly a week has made me miss fresh air and sunlight. It was barely hours after I arrived that the Chief of Police broadcast that they had a warrant out for my arrest. So after a very brief discussion in which everyone made sure to tell me just how dangerous it is for me to even show my face outside the windows, and how important I am to the cause right now… I was basically imprisoned within LIBRA HQ. At least they set me up a little room off to the side, which was basically a closet, just for me. It had a bed, some spare clothes and just enough room to change in. But aside from changing my clothes in the morning… I barely used the room. I had the occasional nap when I was forced to, but I was too focused on helping people out there from here at LIBRA HQ, trying my best to lead a team I was still getting to know. It was a lot, and involved what were probably some of the most stressful and terrifying things I had ever had to do, but the thought of what would happen if we failed gave me the drive to continue. Problem was… without Charlie I was close to my breaking point, and if we didn’t have some kind of positive change soon… I was going to crash and burn. And then I wouldn’t be useful to anyone. At least I knew Charlie was in good hands, Eve and Faith were working tirelessly on not only helping littles who had been affected by hypnosis during the protests, but also on helping Charlie. One of the first things that I did when I got here was ask about the hypnosis they had developed that would work on Amazons. Thankfully, Dotty was all too happy to give me the machine that had been used on Charlie to give to Faith, hoping that she could reverse engineer it to create a fix for my wife. “Liv, go lay down. You’ve barely slept, you’ve barely eaten, and you’ve not had any time to yourself…” Claire repeated. “But…” Claire gave me her sternest ‘do it now, little lady’ face, making me quake in my boots. “Right, can you handle things without her?” Claire asked Dotty. “We’ll be fine. You go rest, Olivia.” Dotty replied. “Come on then, Liv…” Claire said, lifting me up, plopping me on her hips and carrying me off to the little room that had been made up for me. “Won’t you doing this… undermine my leadership or something?” I asked as Claire carried me on her hip through the back corridors. “Hun… we’re all worried about you. They all love you, you’re doing a great job. If it wasn’t for you… the protests would have been quashed days ago. Your organisation and your leadership has ensured we’ve had the right resources and the right people in the places we needed them most. We’ve stopped countless arrests because of you. Now you need to rest. A few hours in bed won’t hurt the cause, don’t worry.” “But…” “If anything changes, regarding the protests or Charlie, I’ll wake you up straight away, don’t worry, Princess.” I could feel something within me stir a little at being called that. It wasn’t enough to make me feel that headspace again, but it was enough to alert me that it still exists. That even after everything with not-Charlie… that side of me wasn’t completely ruined. Problem was… I wasn’t sure how long it would take for that side of me to heal. And also how it’d react with actual Charlie babying me… because a large part of me worried that that bridge had been burned and wasn’t being rebuilt any time. I guess I’ll have to wait and find out… if Charlie ever wakes up… “I know you haven’t had anything to occupy yourself other than the protests, and I also know you haven’t eaten much…” “Snitches…” I pouted as Claire opened the door to my ‘room’ and placed me gently on the bed. “So I got you a few things whilst I was out.” I looked to my side to see a brown paper bag. And the inner child within me squealed in delight at the thought of a surprise, so I quickly grabbed it and opened it to find a sandwich, a packet of crisps, a drink and… a colouring book, along with some crayons. “I… I don’t know if…” “Hey Liv, you don’t have to if you’re not up for it. I just thought it may be a good, simple idea for you to get your mind off things and focus on something else for ten minutes. So you’ve got 20 minutes to eat and colour, then I’m checking in on you. If you’re not in bed by then… I’ll put you to bed myself. Including a bedtime story…” “A bedtime story… from Claire? Oh wow… I must be really special…” “Oh Olivia… of course you are! Before our little team got together, I felt lost. But then I met you and Malcolm and Eve and… well, I gained a family. I love you just as if I would my kid sister, if I had one.” “You never talk about your family…” “They’re all gone. But maybe I’ll tell you about them, once this is all over. But you have to be good, eat some food, and get some sleep!” “What about LIBRA?” I asked. “What about them?” “You had them before you met us…” “They allowed me to do some good in the world. But it felt more like helping an organisation than helping the littles themselves. Especially as an Amazon in a littles rights organisation, I felt like a bit of an outsider, even if a good number of us are Amazons. It was your team that made me feel special… wanted… loved. So if you want that bedtime story… the offer is there…” “I’ll hold you to that offer… in the future. Maybe I’ll get Charlie to let you babysit.” I smiled up at her. “I could probably do with the practice, now that I have a baby on the way.” “Are you still being careful out there? I don’t want you, or the baby, getting hurt whilst all this is going on.” “Liv… you worry too much, now get some sleep. I’ll check in on you in a while.” I smiled up at her and nodded as she closed the door. As soon as the door shut, I grabbed the sandwich and rabidly tore open the packaging, shoving the food into my mouth like I hadn’t eaten in days. Which… I genuinely can’t remember how long it had been. “Liv…” “Huh?” I replied, my eyes still firmly closed as I was curled up in the foetal position, the blanket wrapped around my body tightly. “Wake up, Liv…” “Jus… ten more minutes…” I mumbled out loud. “Liv… wake up!” “Huh… wha?” I asked as I shot out of my sleepy haze and the world started loading in around me. “Liv… it’s Charlie… she woke up!” Claire said, sitting at the end of my bed. “SHE WHAT?” I yelled, jumping up in bed so I was now upright. I felt a surge of relief flow through my body and an excitement I couldn’t hold in as the news that my wife had woken up triggered a burst of energy within me. “She’s still a bit out of it, but she’s slowly coming to.” “WHEN?” I said, diving out of bed and grabbing my shoes, pulling them closer so I could get them on and go. “A few minutes ago. Faith sent a message as soon as she could.” “I need to see her!” “And I’ll take you, but…” Claire sighed. And all of a sudden… that burst of energy had gone. If you follow good news with a ‘but’, it never ends well. Suddenly that excitement and energy… was replaced with fear and dread. “But what, Claire?” “You have a call…” She sounded nervous. “From who?” “...The Prime Minister.” “How did he…?” “We disabled the tracking in your phone, but we left it on in case they tried to contact you.” They had taken my phone from me shortly after I first arrived at LIBRA HQ, worried that as I’d be a priority target, I’d be tracked. I hadn’t known they’d kept it on the whole time. I bet I had loads of messages from friends and family worried about me days ago. At least Claire had the sense to go around and take our friends and family to safehouses, as the police would no doubt go for my parents, Charlie’s parents, my friends… basically anyone I had regular contact with. “What does he want?” “He wants… to speak to you.” “But Charlie…” “Can wait. She’s awake, but she’s still not herself.” “The hypnosis removal didn’t work?” “Oh it did… but she’s still in a bit of a daze. She’s been awake for literally minutes. So first, Prime Minister, then your wife.” “Fine. Let’s go see what that windbag wants to offer us…” ======================================================= If you haven't seen, I'm now up and running on Subscribestar! 12. But she is a cute little girl. Plot-wise, yes, there is a reason, because if she wasn't, the ending wouldn't turn out the same way, and it wouldn't be the same story that made people fall in love with it. But also these things happen? Some people are trans, even in stories. And I don't understand how it feels like lies, as nanites in this universe can do a lot, meaning she's now the same as if she was born a girl.
  13. 😊 I'm sure we'll get to that eventually. I'm a sucker for secret doors. One of my goals in life is to have a secret door in my house.
  14. Chapter 34: LIBRA Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess Claire had grabbed a scarf from the shop on the way out, wrapping it over my head and covering half of my face to hide my identity. It was a genius idea, honestly, and it worked brilliantly as she carried me through the protests and riots filling the streets. No one recognised me as we made our way across the capital on foot. We did have a few awkward glances, allies who were worried I had been adopted against my will as they just assumed an Amazon with a little was someone who had forced it on them, but a quick ‘I’m not adopted, don’t worry, she’s a friend’ managed to allay their worries, allowing us to continue unhindered. We got to a point where the police had set up blockades, and from what I could see, there were some non-police Amazons behind them. They weren’t protesting or arguing or anything, so they were most likely on their side, ready to help when needed. But surprisingly, the numbers were very few. I guess the media likes to go very pro-Amazon, inflating the numbers of people who want to see little’s being regressed and adopted, and downplaying the numbers of supporters we have. And even now, I bet most of the Amazons who are against us are hiding at home, too scared to stand up for what they believe in, all the while littles and Amazons are risking their lives, standing up for us, trying to make this country better for everyone. All this just confirmed to me that I was doing the right thing. That this wasn’t ‘too far’ as a lot of Amazons may put it. When maybe a hundred… two hundred Amazons at most rally behind the police, and there are tens… probably even hundreds of thousands of us… it puts it in perspective how the results of the election clearly showed how much support littles had in society, and that it was only due to the politicians and media and corrupt companies that we hadn’t improved as a society. And it's not like littles and Amazons can’t work in harmony, there are a few countries out there that manage it, and we’re not even one of the worst offenders. There are many, many worse off countries for littles. No, we were capable of change, and this… this was it. This was the change. And I swear to Charlie… I was determined to make sure she wakes up to a better world. We made it to a small little laundrette on the north side of the city, a place I had never been before. “Is… is this it?” I whispered up to Claire from behind the scarf. Claire said nothing, only nodding at me, slipping into the laundrette quickly and quietly, rushing down the aisle of laundry machines, towards a door in the back. The protests were a lot quieter this far north, they were mostly focused around Parliament, but they did go on for miles. You’d see the odd person walk past with a very hastily made placard signalling their support for little’s rights, but that was about it. No fighting, no police, no large groups here. Which made it easier to sneak into LIBRA’s headquarters without being recognised or noticed. “Secret hideout in the middle of nowhere… gotta say that’s pretty cool. Like you’d see in a movie.” I commented, whispering to my friend. “Just wait til you see our toys…” Claire grinned at me as we made our way through a narrow, dimly lit corridor. “What, are you going to have a secret bookcase entrance too and everything?” “Don’t be silly, Olivia. Of course we don’t.” She replied, rolling her eyes at me as she carried me further in. Reaching a wall at the back of the corridor, there was… just nothing. Nothing at all. It looked like an office off to the side, but other than that… was just a stack of shelves. Claire reached over and wrapped her hand around the shelf frame, clicking something. “A bookcase… in a laundrette? That’d be too obvious!” She smiled at me as the wall opened slightly, revealing a light in the gap. “SECRET DOOR? OH MY GOD!” I screamed, quickly catching myself and whispering the end of it before I called it out to everyone in a five mile radius. Claire just looked down at me, rolling her eyes. “You’re so easily impressed.” “Oh shush. Secret entrances are cool. Even if they’re not bookcases.” I replied, sticking my tongue out at her. Which apparently earned me a tongue being stuck out back at me in response. Claire carried me inside, the wall closing behind us. I was now in a place I had been dying to enter for a long time, as Chris had made sure I was never allowed entry. He always said it was due to me being a ‘prime target’. If I ever got adopted during the election, or after it, I could reveal the location as people know I have ties to LIBRA. Turns out it’s also because Chris was a massive selfish fuckwit who didn’t give two shits about fucking us over and ruining our lives. Okay… maybe I didn’t let it all out when I was pummelling his face before, it seems there’s still a lot of pent up rage from what he did to Charlie. That was for future Liv to worry about. Present Liv gets to take control of that fucker’s organisation and turn it against him… and the Amazons. I wondered what toys they had, what reach they had, what information… it was all going to finally be available to me, so I could make little’s lives better. But… I had no desire to keep control of it. To me, this organisation was tainted by Chris, and I would happily burn it to the ground. But when I do that, I will make something from the ashes, using the people I can trust who work here, to work for the betterment of littles. For now, I’ll reluctantly use it, see if the people here are really as trustworthy and empathetic as Claire makes them out to be, and help them rally together to assist those out there risking their lives protesting. “So be on your best behaviour, Liv…” Claire said as she carried me through the cramped, dark corridor leading to a bright light at the other end. “Oh come on… you know me.” “I know, I just have to remind you. Because I trust these people.” “Like you trusted Chris?” “Touché…” She replied, sighing. “Look, Chris took us all by surprise. But this lot… These are the ones who volunteered. They don’t get any financial gain or power from helping littles, unlike that backstabbing fuck.” “How many are Amazons?” “About a third of them actually.” “Wow… I was expecting less.” “Yeah, we are all here wanting to make the country a better place for littles. So they’ll listen to you, they know what you’re fighting for.” “Fine. I’ll trust them because you do. But if any…” “Oh if we have any others like Chris, I’ll be the first to kick them out.” She grinned at me. “Good. Umm… Claire?” “Yes, sweetie?” “Isn’t it a little… quiet?” “Huh? What do you mean?” “I would have thought the hub for the rebellion would be… I dunno… bustling? Chaotic? Especially with so many protests going on right now? And with their leader gone…” “You’re right… stay close.” Claire said, tightening her grip on me. “Not like I can go anywhere… you’re still carrying me…” I muttered to myself as she got closer to the opening at the end of the corridor. “CLAIRE! THANK FUCK!” A voice said from the other side of the room, followed by the shuffling of many pairs of feet towards us. I looked around to see about eight littles and three Amazons all rushing over to us. “Oh my… is that…?” Another, much deeper, voice said from the tiny crowd. “Everyone… This is Liv. Liv… this is… wait… is this it?” Claire said as she placed me on the ground on my feet and looked out at everyone. A small blonde-haired little walked forward, huge circular-rimmed glasses covering like a third of her face, looking up at my Amazon friend. “We lost a third, mostly Amazons, when… umm… when Chris was… yeah…” The little started explaining. “So a third were still loyal to him? Figures. What about the other third?” Claire asked. “They’re out in the protests, taking part, collecting intel.” “So we’re down a third… and half of what we have left are out in the field. Great. So what are you doing here?” “Umm… nothing… at least right now. We take the intel the ones in the field give us, but then we don’t know what to do! We have no instructions, as we don’t know whether to carry on with Chris’ instructions or not.” “Well I have help in that regard…” Claire said as she pushed me forward gently. I waved awkwardly, blushing at the crowd who all looked at me with a mix of wonder and bewilderment. “I mean… Great… but… umm… she knows nothing.” The blonde little said, clearly unimpressed by my arrival. So I stepped forward. “Then get me up to date and I can help. This isn’t the first time I’ve organised people. I ran my own thing at my shop, saving littles.” I replied. “We know, and we appreciate what you did. You even saved some of the people in LIBRA, they joined because of what you did. But… this isn’t just saving one little from an Amazon…” “And she’s capable of a lot, trust me.” Claire said, winking down at me. “She’s done a lot more than you will ever know. Saved a lot more people than you will ever know…” “Shh…” I warned her. I told very light details to my friends, but I hadn’t told anyone else anything about my sisters or the other places I’ve visited. “Fine. Let me show you around then…” The blonde little said, sighing and signalling to us to follow her. Exposed brickwork, tunnels leading off to who-knows-where, cables running all over the place with multiple computer stations, all with multiple monitors displaying real-time data… this is exactly how I pictured it. Though I must admit, after Chris turned out to be a bit of an evil genius, my image of this place had maaaybe turned into that of a supervillain's secret evil lair. But I saw no volcanoes or pools full of sharks, so I was slightly disappointed. “This is the basic command centre…” The little with glasses showed me through to the main room whilst the other LIBRA members hung back with Claire, telling her everything that was going on and asking her a million questions about Chris. “Sorry… I didn’t even get your name…” I spoke up, not wanting to appear rude. “Oh, yeah… sorry… It’s Dorothy. Though everyone calls me Dotty. I’m sort of the… umm… I’m like fifth down the line in the chain of command?” “So who are the top four?” “Chris… was top, obviously. Then Claire and another Amazon. Then a couple of littles.” “What happened to them?” “The Amazon turned out to be close to Chris and ran for it the moment Chris’ deception came to light. One of the littles has gone to ground, in fear of the worst. I don’t blame them, this… this is scary.” “And the other?” “He’s out in the protests right now, leading those in the field. So I’ve been trying to keep who is left here together. Thank god Claire is back, I don’t like all this responsibility. At least not during a crisis like this!” “I understand. Well it’s nice to meet you, Dotty.” “It’s nice to meet you too. I’ve been… I’ve been a big fan of yours. Even before the MP thing.” She blushed. “Oh? You have?” “You saved my boyfriend.” “I did?” “Matthew. Matthew…” “Oh I remember him! Is he okay?” “He was… for a while…” “Oh hun, I’m sorry. Did he…?” “It’s okay, he’s in recovery at your Doctor friend’s hospital after he got adopted again. We managed to get him back again, but the regression hypnosis they used was bad, though not quite as bad as the stuff they used on your little friend. He’s getting better though. I hope to go see him again once all this is over.” “I’m sure he’ll be fine, Eve is the best. Now… this is the command centre then?” I asked her. “Yes! Sorry! This is where our analysts receive and process our data, where we surveil targets and events, and run the organisation.” Dotty explained. “So you’ve got eyes everywhere?” “Pretty much.” “What about the protests?” “We’ve got eyes everywhere. Both digitally and on the ground.” “How’s it going out there now?” “From what we’ve seen… police are really struggling to hold back the number of people protesting. The turnout is… unexpected to say the least. We knew there was unrest in the population, with lots of little protests, but we never guessed that this many people would be supportive of little’s rights… and of you.” “Guess it was just a powder keg waiting for that little spark…” “That’s an understatement. This isn’t just in the capital, Liv…” “Wait, is this happening across the country?” “Oh yes, hence why they can’t get the police numbers to hold everyone back. There’s even talk of the military being called in.” “The military… oh god… that’s not good.” “But we have sources there too, and it seems like the civilian population aren’t the only ones fighting back.” “You mean…?” “Armed forces are disobeying orders on a grand scale. This… this is something we never could have predicted.” “Holy fucking…” “And that’s not all…” “What? What else is there?” “Thankfully rioting is at a minimum. There are a small number of incidents of people using these protests to destroy and steal property, but both the police and the protesters are preventing them from getting away with it. It’s a very… strange situation we’re in right now, and with no leader… we have no idea what to do.” I took a deep breath to calm my nerves. This was a lot bigger than I had ever expected, and something I never thought I’d see in my life. And now it was all on me to lead this organisation so we can help those out on the streets fight for the rights of all littles. I have no idea where this is going to go, or what outcome we can hope for from this. It could be positive for littles… or it could spell the end for little’s rights completely. But this time… this time we weren’t going to sit around and wait to have our minds wiped and our nappies changed. This time we were going to fight, even if it ended up with all of us ending up in cribs. Though this time… we’re not alone. “Right… I think I know what to do…” ======================================================= If you haven't seen, I'm now up and running on Subscribestar! 15. Chapter 33: Protest Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess I sprinted as fast I could through the chaos. No matter where I turned, there was fighting surrounding me. Every street I went down was packed full of people… and police. Protesters had turned up in large numbers, but doing so had caused the police to retaliate in kind, bringing in everyone they had… and every form of suppression they could use. It was like a war zone right now… and I wondered just how far across the city… or even country… this went. I had covered a few streets, and I had seen a lot of people joining our protest on the march over to parliament… but I had a feeling it was a lot bigger than I had first imagined. Ducking and weaving through the scuffles, watching littles being carried off by police officers for them only to be retrieved by Amazons trying to rescue them… I made sure not to be noticed by any of the officers, because despite me not technically starting these protests… they probably saw me as the number one target to take down at all costs, so I ran for my life, trying my best to focus on coming up with a safe location to run to. The only place that I could think of… the only place that was nearby… …Was my old shop. Cars were being smashed, fires were being started, everything was going to shit… so I kept running, street after street, trying my best to make it to somewhere I knew was safe and I could hide out. At least somewhere I knew I could call from safely and get some help from my friends. ‘My friends… Wait… did any more of them join in?’ I wondered as I dodged a riot shield being swung mere inches from my face. It helped that I was so small, I could dash through the chaos without being seen, which meant I was safe, provided I could make it back to the shop. Malcolm kept running the business from the shop, so it was still owned by the two of us. Which meant… my old workshop was the perfect place to barricade myself in and call for help. “Just… another… street…” My unfit physique was causing me to slow down as I struggled to catch my breath. And as I turned onto the corner, dashing between an Amazon protester’s legs, I stumbled to my knees and breathed in deeply, trying to breathe. I didn’t know if I had time to catch my breath like this or not, but it seems like my body is refusing to move unless I get some breath back, so I stayed on my hands and knees, breathing heavily, hoping I wouldn’t be stepped on or noticed down here whilst the fighting was going on around us. Taking one last deep breath, I looked up… to see a police officer looking at me from across the street. He looked new… nervous even… but he was still an Amazon, and I was pretty sure he had recognised me. So I pushed past the pain and the breathlessness, climbed to my feet and bolted down the street towards my shop. I couldn’t afford to turn and see if he was following. If I did that, I could potentially trip or bump into something, and it would definitely slow me down even if I didn’t. So I ran as if my life depended on it… which honestly… it did. Running up to the door, I grabbed the handle and twisted, hoping to the Goddesses that it was open… and as if my prayers had been answered, it turned and the door opened, causing me to fall into the shop, rolling onto the carpet. Climbing back to my feet as quickly as possible, I pushed the door closed and turned the lock, preventing anyone from getting in. Breathing a sigh of relief, I turned and looked back at my shop… I hadn’t been in here in a while, I’ve been so busy at work that I haven’t even checked in on Malcolm to see how he’s doing with the store on his own. I had asked him a few times, but he just says it's going okay. And as I looked out at all the clothing on display… yeah, it wasn’t in a state and it wasn’t on fire, so I’d say Mal had it handled so far. My relief was short-lived, as I heard a bang on the door which caused me to turn around… to see the police officer that had been chasing me standing there… his face looking through the glass window on the door… staring at me in the eyes. I couldn’t move. I completely froze, my heart beating like a hummingbird’s, watching as this officer tried to open the door. Then, failing that, he tried to slam against it as I backed away slowly towards the workshop. Failing that… he pulled out his baton and covered his face with his free arm and swung for the glass… causing it to shatter. Using this opportunity, I ran towards the workshop whilst he reached in and unlocked the door, letting himself into the shop as he hunted me down. I was so close… Just need… to get… to… I was mere inches from the door to the workshop… when I felt a large hand grab my arm and pull me back. “You little shit… come here… you’re the one we’re after…” He growled, pulling me up into the air by my wrist, letting me dangle from his grip… making my arm ache. “FUCK OFF, LET ME GO!” I screamed, looking around to my attacker, trying to pull away with all my strength… not that it was anywhere close to his, and was doing absolutely nothing for me right now. “Not a chance, little one, you’re going to get me promoted. Or at least recognised.” He grinned. “You’ve been pretending to be an adult in Parliament for too long. I can’t wait to see you put back in your place, shitting in your nappies.” “GET THE FUCK OFF ME!” I screamed again, before spitting at him. “I am placing you under…” Before he could finish his sentence, something large came from behind and struck the back of his head, causing him to fall flat on his face on the carpeted floor. As he released his grip on me due to falling unconscious, I fell backwards onto the floor, on my padded arse. At least that cushioned the fall a bit. But realising my situation, I didn’t hesitate at all to rush around and hide behind the counter. “I… ugh… oops… didn’t mean to hit him that hard…” I heard coming from the other side of the shop counter. Looking down, I could see the officer was currently out cold, but still breathing, and I looked up to see just who my saviour was. And what I saw… I was not expecting. “Hi… Olivia…” The shy brunette beauty with freckles adorning her face said, blushing and looking down at the floor. I looked up at her as she walked over, carefully stepping over the Amazon officer’s body, before stopping right in front of me and kneeling down. “I… umm… if you’re here to kidnap me and adopt me… I’m just gonna say…” I was ready to try and bullshit my way out of this, but she quickly cut me off. “Oh no! No no no no no no! Nooooo! That’s not it! I promise! Pinky promise!” “Pinky promise…? Wait… just who are you then?” She didn’t look familiar. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this woman in my life. But then she looks like most Amazons when she’s towering over me like this, even with her kneeling down. She was gorgeous, I’ll give her that, but I think I would have remembered someone this cute. Looking around my age, she wore a purple baggy jumper with sleeves that were way too big, so big that she had cut holes in them for her thumbs so she could wear them like gloves, along with baggy jeans that went all the way down to the floor, covering the majority of her shoes… She looked like her fashion taste hadn’t changed since the 90s. It was kind of adorable really. Large round glasses balanced on the end of her nose, giving her that nerdy bookworm aesthetic that I loved on Charlie so much. And looking down at the floor… I saw the large mannequin that she had thrown at this officer’s head, laying next to the unconscious man. “Hi… I’m Vanessa. Though people call me Nessa.” The Amazon woman smiled at me. “Hi… I… umm… thanks?” I replied, my heart still racing. “Oh you’re welcome! Sorry I couldn’t help sooner, I… I’ve been a bit nervous about introducing myself.” “Introducing… wait… what?” “Oh… umm… sorry, yeah that seems a bit… stalkery… umm…” “Have you… have you been following me?” I asked. She went quiet for a bit, looking really damn guilty, before raising her head and looking at me in the eyes. “...Sort of? I…” “Who are you, Vanessa? And why have you been following me? And more importantly… why did you just assault someone to save me?” “Because you…” She stuttered, trying to get past her anxiety. Part of me felt sympathetic, I knew that feeling well, but right now a strange Amazon was cornering me against the workshop door, and apparently she had been following me. For how long, I have no idea… but I was too focused on trying to find a way to run away from her to think about asking. “Tell me!” I raised my voice at her. “Because you mean a lot to Charlie!” She yelled back, sounding scared. “...Okay? And why do you care?” “B… b… because… she means a lot to me…” “She does? How? Who are you exactly?” “I… umm… I… it’s hard to explain…” “Tell me now, otherwise I’ll scream for help…” I knew that no one would be able to hear me, the rioting outside would cover up any little’s noises, no matter how much they screamed. But I was betting on the fact she probably wasn’t thinking about that. “I… because of this!” She grabbed the bottom of her jumper with one hand, and the top of her jeans with the other, and separated the two from each other, revealing… “A nappy? But… what? But why? You’re an Ama… oh.” My jaw dropped. That’s when it hit me. Amazons don’t usually wear them. They’d only wear them if they were incontinent or… they’re like me. Charlie and Madison’s ‘adult baby’. This is her. This is the woman Madison scared off. The woman Charlie found her maternal side with. “You’re… the adult baby… aren’t you?” “She told you about me?” Her face lit up when she said this, sitting down on the floor and crossing her legs so she was at the same height as me once I had stood up to match her. “Yeah. Told me Madison was horrible to you and scared you off. And that she felt terrible for you and how things ended…” “Yeah… that’s me. I really liked Charlie. Oh and don’t worry, I don’t mean in the same way you do. She was a perfect Mummy though, so kind and loving and generous. But that’s all it was! I’m not here to threaten your marriage or anything!” She laughed, very awkwardly. “So why are you here?” “I… wanted to get back in touch with Charlie for a while. Especially after she released her book about you two. I may have passed this store a few times since, trying to work up the courage to come in and introduce myself and everything… but I… I have anxiety. Then when you were on the news, and you mentioned Charlie being attacked and stuff… I wanted to help her… help the both of you. She was so wonderful to me, and if I could repay her back by helping you… so yeah, I rushed over to your store.” “Why did you come here? How did you know I was going to come here?” “I… I was in the crowd earlier. I believe in the same things you and Charlie do. I’ve attended a few protests, at least until my anxiety got the better of me and I had to leave early. This big one was too important though, so I pushed my fear down, and marched with you from the hall. I kept my distance, still too nervous to talk to you, because I mean what am I gonna say? Especially in front of tens of thousands of people? That I’m an Amazon who likes to be babied and wear baby clothes and nappies? It’s not just something you bring up in casual conversation. But now it’s just us two… I… I feel a lot more confident. That’s why I could tell… and show you. Sorry, I just realised now that showing you the n… n… nappy… that it was weird and wouldn’t have explained anything. Sorry. I’m… yeah… I’m not very good with people.” “Charlie has told me a lot about you. Never told me your name though. It’s nice to finally meet you.” I smiled at her, feeling that I could genuinely trust her. I mean what Amazon is going to wear nappies just to kidnap and adopt me? She… she was just as Charlie described her, especially the anxious part. “It’s nice to meet you too!” Her face lit up again. “I… she told you a lot about me?” “Yeah, she clearly feels a lot of regret regarding how things went. And then Madison…” “I heard what she did to you at your wedding. I’m glad she got what she deserved.” “How do you know…?” I asked. “That she was the one you were talking about before at the hall?” “Yeah…” I looked at her suspiciously. “Because… she reached out to me.” “She WHAT?” “Yeah, surprised me too. But she wanted to make amends for how she treated me. Told me what she had been through. And you know what? I genuinely believe she has changed. Obviously I still don’t want her in my life, but it was nice… I guess it was closure… sort of?” “I was hesitant to believe it at first, but apparently she was the one who alerted my friends that Charlie was… off.” “Is Charlie okay now? I heard you talk about her in your speech…” “She’s in a coma, but she should be fine when she wakes up. If she ever does…” “Can… Can I see her?” Honestly… it was like looking at a sad puppy. There was no way I could turn down her request, not with the look she was giving me right now. That’s when I had an idea. “I… look, I’ve still got work to do here. And I’m trusting you because Charlie trusts you. But I need someone to watch over her. I can’t guarantee she’ll be safe whilst I’m leading this protest, and I need someone to guard her. I trust the people taking care of her right now, but I have a feeling they’re going to be overwhelmed with littles being brought in, so Charlie needs someone dedicated to watching her. Think you can do that?” “I umm…” She looked nervous again. “At least go be with her, make sure she’s okay, and tell the Doctor there to watch out for retaliation?” “I think I can do that!” She said, sounding more optimistic now. “Thanks. Here, let me give you my number, you can contact me if anything happens with Charlie.” Nessa pulled out her phone and I quickly put my contact details onto it, before handing it back to her. “I can do that… thanks… Thanks for trusting me. I won’t fail you.” “Maybe if all of this works out… we could have a playdate?” I laughed as a figure suddenly appeared in the doorway. “I’d like dat!” Nessa replied. “LIV?” The figure in the doorway shouted. “Yeah?” I replied, as soon as I saw who it was. “Claire? You found me!” “Are… are you… okay?” Claire replied, slowly walking into the shop, nodding towards Nessa suspiciously. I think she was ready to attack the poor girl, so I quickly replied so she didn’t throw a right hook in Nessa’s direction. “Oh yeah, don’t worry, this is Vanessa. She’s Charlie’s old… friend.” “Is she?” Claire was still suspicious about the new Amazon woman sitting in front of me, and rightfully so. “Seriously. It’s fine. She’s going to go to the hospital on the other side of town, aren’t you Nessa?” “I think I know the one you’re talking about. The little’s recovery one, right?” “Yeah, ask the receptionist if you can speak to Eve. I’ll make sure to send Eve a message to let you in. They’re probably locking down as we speak, with everything going on.” “Liv, we need you at LIBRA.” Claire interrupted, sounding out of breath. “LIBRA? Seriously? Why would I go there?” I replied in disgust. “No one knew Chris’ true intentions or end goals, I assure you. We all genuinely want to improve things. But right now we’re leaderless. We need someone to take charge. We need… you.” “But you’re much better at running and organising things, Claire. You’ve been Chris’ right hand woman this whole time.” “I’m no leader, Liv. Please… come with me.” I knew she wasn’t going to take no for an answer, so I exhaled heavily in frustration and looked back at Nessa. “Fine. Nessa, are you going to be okay? I can trust you, right?” I asked the anxious Amazon woman. As she nodded and smiled at me, I could feel how sincere she was about wanting to help. And if she was as close to Charlie as my wife had made out, then I think she’ll keep her safe, no matter what. I mean she knocked out a police officer to save me, and she barely knows me! “Let’s go. It was nice meeting you, Vanessa.” Claire said as she reached over and grabbed me, picking me up and carrying me out of the store as I waved back to my newest acquaintance. ======================================================= Oh look... someone new! Or not quite new... At least someone we haven't seen before! Not properly anyway! This was one of my fave chapters to write. Little in Love 2 only has a small handful of chapters left on my SubscribeStar, then I'll be posting my next Monstrum story on there. I'm still in the middle of writing that, but when I've finished it, I'll be starting one of two stories I've got planned. Either Witch in Training 2 (which will probably be the last littlefallenverse story, at least for a while)... or a secret independent story that isn't part of either of my universes. Maybe I'll ask what people want most, maybe I'll wait and see which I'm feeling more confident about writing, either way I'll keep you all updated when I've finished writing my current story! If you haven't seen, I'm now up and running on Subscribestar! (Sorry for the reminder again, trying to get my subscribers back after the Patreon rubbish!) Hoping to start the new SubscribeStar exclusive short stories with a trial run in January! if the first commission goes well, I'll see how many I can handle per month (thinking about 2 per month. These stories won't be posted here at all.) ======================================================== I hope everyone enjoys this chapter! New chapters of Little in Love 2 every Wednesday/Sunday! Also just a quick note: I don't mind people saving this story for personal reading. But I'd appreciate it if people didn't post it elsewhere, even if you're just suggesting it to other people. If you want to show others, please send them a link to the first page of this post! 16. Chapter 32: Change Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess “Good evening, everyone.” I began, after taking my stand at the podium I originally intended to speak at earlier, before all this chaos ensued. The reporters looked a little nervous, which I couldn’t blame them for, as they weren’t exactly here by choice. They had gotten trapped earlier when the protest blocked them in, keeping them inside. I think a few may have gotten out, as it looked like the crowd was a little smaller now, but most were still here, even the camera crews at the back. “MRS CLARKE?” One reporter shouted. “WHEN CAN WE LEAVE?” I held my hand up as I nervously balanced on the stepstool that had been placed out for me earlier this evening. The restless crowd settled a little as they waited for instructions. “I assure you, I don’t want to keep you here much longer.” I replied. “SO YOU TRAPPED US?” “No, no… I assure you, I had no knowledge of what was going to happen this evening. I apologise on my behalf for what happened to you, but I assure you, once I’m done, I will make sure you are allowed to freely leave. This evening has been utter chaos, and apparently it had been a big set up by people I thought I could trust.” “Is this why you attacked Mr Slater?” One reporter asked. “You mentioned something about hypnosis…” Looking directly into the large camera I knew was streaming this live to the nation, I prepared myself, tried to settle my nerves, and took a deep breath. “I find myself here, reaching out to every little, every Amazon, every betweener… to please listen to me right now. For decades now, our country has benefited from the disgusting treatment of littles. From adoptions… to manufacturing baby equipment for those adopted littles, from the medicalisation of ‘customising’ littles to match Amazons’ preferences… to the behind the scenes corruption within our own government to profit off this… this… disgusting behaviour.” You could probably hear the disgust in my voice, something that in parliament I would try to hide, but now… I didn’t care. The Amazon reporters around the room looked at each other, clueless. “But no more. My party… my government… made promises to make our country safer and more fair for littles. It’s why I stood for them. It’s why we won. But thanks to the corruption from the top, thanks to the corrupt head of LIBRA, Chris Slater… My party backtracked on that pledge and decided to make the country worse for littles.” The reporters threw up their hands, but now was not the time for questions. I knew I’d be thrown off course if I stopped now, so I continued on, ignoring the large arms trying to signal me. “They fully intended to use us to win the election, to pretend to fight for us… then once they had their power… they fully intended to strip ours away from us. And when we started fighting back, as you no doubt saw in the Commons… they came for us… to silence us.” The hands started dropping, one by one, until a quarter of them had lowered. “They came for me. They came for MY family. They tried their best to regress me, to remove my adult status. You saw that tonight by my own deputy Prime Minister. But… I don’t know how long ago it was… but they got to me by another route… my wife.” More hands started dropping, now only half remained. “LIBRA… or at least Chris Slater… has had the technology to hypnotise and brainwash Amazons, in the same way you all do to littles like me. And he’s had it for a while now too. I knew of its existence years ago, and trusted Mr Slater to do the right thing and only use it as a last resort if things got worse. And as things got better for us, with adoptions dropping drastically and protests breaking out around the country… I figured we’d never have to use that technology.” I knew what they all wanted to hear, so I answered them. “Yes, it’s real. Yes, it will work on any of you. Yes, it can reduce you to a whimpering infant, like you all do to us littles. I know because I’ve seen it. Twice.” The faces on the Amazon reporters dropped, but the cameraman never stopped filming, so I continued. “First time was with someone who tried to adopt me. Mr Slater took her away and regressed her. She learned her lesson, was re-raised properly, and now actually has a heart… the other time… was my wife.” Gasps filled the room. “My wife… she is currently laying in a coma after the brainwashing was removed from her. At least we hope it was.” “What did it do to her? Is she okay?” One reporter interrupted. “She… well they… I mean Chris…” It was getting hard to talk about it, but I fought through it, with help from Charlie being in my thoughts. “Chris hypnotised her to become the ‘stereotypical Amazon’. To increase her maternal instinct… to push her drive to be an Amazon mother… to its max. Charlotte then treated me like any other adopted and regressed little, even forcing that new brainwashing technique on me, the ‘brute force’ one that claimed the mind of one of my closest friends.” “How do you know it wasn’t just her doing what she wanted to do all along?” One reporter dared to ask, with the smuggest grin on his face as he awaited a reply. “Because my wife, unlike you, has a heart. She has a soul. She isn’t a corrupt little shit who preys on the smallest and weakest of our society to get her kicks off.” Okay… maybe I was a bit petty with my answer, but honestly? I was done with the ‘good girl’ routine I had perfected to get Amazon voters to vote for me. Fuck the haters, if they won’t change, I’ll make them, kicking and screaming if needed. The reporter instantly shut up and looked embarrassed. “Seriously, I’m done playing nice now. You all suck. The country is finally waking up to the atrocities your kind has forced on us littles and betweeners. The injustice. The cruelty. You’re all monsters, any of you who forced us to play baby for us just because you can’t have your own. You know what? If you spent just half of what you spend on investing in baby products for littles, you’d have fixed the whole infertility issue in your kind years ago. It’s only through greed and cruelty that you haven’t. So fuck you all.” All the reporter's hands had dropped at this point, all looking ashamed as they continued recording on their phones and cameras. “So that’s where we are now. We are done with this shit. We are done with your adoptions. We are done with your manipulations and lies and cruelty. Littles, Betweeners AND Amazons… we’re all done. The majority of the population stand with us, it’s the corrupt few in charge of our media and organisations and government, as well as good ol’ fashioned societal pressure that hold us back from being a fair and just society. So… I’m going to take that very large, very vocal group of people outside, and we’re going to march up to Parliament. And if needed, we will tear that fucking building down, brick by brick, and rebuild it into something much more fair… much more suitable… for a society as advanced as ours.” I would have dropped the mic at this point, but all the microphones were attached to the podium, which towered over me when I was at floor height. So I stepped off the little stool and kicked it backwards as I walked off stage. And as I did… All I could hear was silence from the crowd. “That. Was. Perfect.” Claire said as she picked me up and placed me on Malcolm’s shoulders again once I had walked outside, leaving the door open for all the reporters to leave once we had left. “Yeah kiddo, everyone was watching on their phone and… it seems like you’ve got a plan. To Parliament then?” Malcolm asked. “To Parliament.” I smiled down at him. And as Malcolm, Claire and I led our enormous protest away from the hall where the reporters were still holding up in, I couldn’t help but think about Charlie… and I hoped that I wasn’t doing the wrong thing. I really hoped she was proud of me right now. Thousands. Thousands of people, tens of thousands, maybe even hundreds of thousands… I honestly don’t know how far this protest went on. If you looked back it just went on and on and on… it went off onto every side street… it was everywhere. It truly felt like we had the country on our side right now. People had come out from their homes and joined the protest along the way, people had come from all over the city just to join us march to Parliament. All except… the police, who, thanks to my little speech earlier, had prepared themselves on the road leading to Parliament. Creating a blockade with a worryingly large amount of officers and barricades… this made me worry a little, as no doubt this would end in violence. If they had any reason to mishandle and mistreat littles… these corrupt guards of politicians and powerful people would take it. And if they get to put some Amazons in their place and remind them of the fucked up status quo… that would probably be a bonus to them. I whispered down to Malcolm to call for a halt to the protest, just to stop and see what the police would do. He nodded in agreement and whistled loudly, causing the whole protest line to stop in an instant. There was an uneasy standoff between the protest and the police… and aside from a few mumblings in the crowd, there was complete silence. That was until one of the officers grabbed their megaphone. “PLEASE DISPERSE NOW. GO BACK TO YOUR HOMES.” They began ordering. But it didn’t seem to sit well with the crowd behind me, who looked ready for a fight. “DISPERSE NOW OR ELSE WE’LL…” The officer stopped as another whispered in his ear. “LIV CLARKE. THE PRIME MINISTER WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO YOU.” “THEN HE CAN CALL ME!” I yelled back. But with the large area, the huge crowd, and my tiny little voice… I couldn’t project it as well as the megaphone being used on the opposite side. Thankfully, one of my allies handed Claire a megaphone and I… honestly, I was shocked at the resourcefulness of this protest. They were ready for this… as if they had been waiting for it for a long time… “THEN HE CAN CALL ME!” I repeated, this time my voice being amplified by the megaphone being held in front of my mouth by Claire. My phone started ringing, just as the awkward silence crept back in during the standoff. Recognising the number, I answered it, bracing myself for something. Honestly, part of me thought that maybe the Prime Minister would stoop so low as to try using subliminal hypnosis through the call, to try and regress me. But I quickly realised that would be a catastrophic thing for him if he did it, I’d be seen as a martyr and the country would be filled with rioting. If it already hasn’t. “Mrs Clarke.” He made sure to speak first, and very sternly. “What the fuck do you want?” I replied. Again, why should I be nice to the arseholes trying to wipe my mind? All niceties and decorum went out the window the moment these fuckers went for Charlie. Also… it seems like my swearing has returned to normal. That is something Charlie will not be happy about. So don’t tell her. “I urge you to stand down and tell your… mob… to leave.” The Prime Minister replied. “Or else?” God, I sounded so cocky right now. I really hope it doesn’t come back to bite me in the arse. “Or else I will be forced to take further action.” “Bring it. We won’t be dissuaded. Things need to change, and clearly you’re opposed to that. I thought you were better, clearly you’re just another corrupt Amazon with no soul.” “Don’t you dare talk to me like that, little girl…” “Oh piss off.” I replied, shutting him up instantly. “I’ve let you walk all over me since we got elected, and it’s time you paid the price for your backstabbing ways. We will make things change, whether you like it or not.” He instantly hung up on me, causing the silence to amplify. “Well… he wasn’t open to talking about this…” I said to Malcolm and Claire, awkwardly. “Fuck him then.” Mal replied. “We continue. So I guess the question is… do we go around these cops, or through them?” As much as I would have liked to have said through… and as much as I knew going around them made more sense… our decision was quickly taken away from us as the police started mobilising for a counter offence… “Umm… What do we do?” I asked Claire, who looked like she was panicking. “They’re gunning for you, Liv.” Malcolm said, lifting me off his shoulders and placing me on the floor. “Let the protest handle this, you need to run… RUN LIV, RUN!” ======================================================= 😈Vive la révolution! 😈 If you haven't seen, I'm now up and running on Subscribestar! 17. Chapter 31: Escape Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess Violently pulling the dummy from my mouth, Rachel Brackenstone, the Deputy Prime Minister, looked at me with… with fear in her eyes. “You little brat! What did you do?” She yelled straight at my face. “I…” I coughed and sputtered as I finally regained the use of my mouth, as the enormous dummy gag had kept it ajar for far too long, making it hurt a little still. “What do you mean?” “The people outside…” “What people?” I asked, confused about who she was talking about. “The people chanting ‘Free Olivia’, that's who!” ‘People… are chanting to free me? Who?’ I thought to myself. I was still stuck in this carrier seat, and completely immobile for the time being, so I was still at the mercy of my captors. But the sound outside was getting louder and louder. All we could hear from the other side of the door was smashing and lots of loud voices, getting closer and closer. “What are we going to do?” Asked the adoption centre manager. “We give them the brat.” One of the security escorts suggested. “They want her, we can use her as a distraction whilst we escape out the back. “Not a chance. I’m not letting this little brat go free, not after all this effort…” Rachel snapped at her escort. “Well this isn’t worth my life…” The escort replied, pulling away from the door, much to the surprise of Rachel, but also of the other escort, who was left alone to hold the door closed, with his back against it. “Jeff… come on, dude…” The remaining escort pleaded to his colleague. “Sorry Marsh. You saw how many of them there are. Even if the police arrive…” ‘Just how many people are out there?’ I wondered, looking at just how frightened this guard was. “But…” “Last chance.” “I’m coming with you.” The adoption centre manager spoke up. “I don’t know what’s going on out there, but I don’t want to be caught up in whatever this is.” “Fine…” Marshall replied, pulling away from the door, leaving a distraught Rachel standing there beside my carrier, screaming at the three who had opted to leave her behind. “Bring me with you!” She pleaded. “If you leave the little here, you can come with us. Otherwise…” “I can’t! She needs to be regressed! It’s how we planned it! It has to…” Rachel whined. The noises had reached the door as something heavy bounced against the other side of it. “Last call…” “I’ll make sure you never work again…” Rachel growled at them, defiant till the end. “It’s your life, Ma’am.” Jeffrey said before leaving, with Marshall and the manager following close behind him. Rachel turned to me with pure hatred in her eyes. “You little shit. What if I just… ended you… right now…” She said, looking around for something. My heart started beating more and more quickly as I worried what she had planned for me. But not just that… I worried what force was on the other side of that door. Pulling out a syringe from a cabinet drawer, she also pulled out a vial. “We just needed to regress you. To show the country you littles aren’t cut out to be grown ups. You are meant to be ours to keep. If I can’t do that, and I can’t have you… I’ll make sure your movement ends with you…” Filling the syringe with a large amount of the vial’s contents, I went to open my mouth to plead for my life… to buy whatever time I could before hopefully I was rescued… maybe… But before I could even do that, the door smashed open and in walked a familiar, and very welcome face. A face that walked over to the Deputy Prime Minister and punched her in the jaw, knocking her to the floor before she could react. “Claire!” I yelled with relief. “Hey kiddo…” She said, smiling down at me, before turning and rushing over to me as a few more people filled the doorway. The loud noises quietened a bit as my Amazon friend put down what looked like a baseball bat onto the examination table and unbuckled me from the car seat and lifted me up into her arms. “Got you, kiddo. You okay? They didn’t do anything to you, did they?” She asked. “I… no… not yet. They scanned for nanites, but that’s it. She was about to inject me with something though…” I looked down to see Rachel unconscious on the floor. “Yeah, by the looks of it it would have been an overdose of a paralysing agent used to restrain unruly littles…” A man said, picking up the vial that had dropped onto the floor. Claire was blocking my view of him, so I couldn’t see who it was. “Wait…” I said, realising I knew that voice. “Malcolm?” “Sup, brat?” He grinned. “As if I’d let that monster do anything to my favourite baby.” “You say that now. Sorry Liv, but in about 9 months time you’re probably going to have to take second place.” Claire replied, rolling her eyes at her partner. “I… I think I’m okay with that. How… how did… what happened?” I asked, feeling relief. “One second…” Claire said, looking out into the huge crowd of people filling the adoption centre waiting room. Like… wow… I wasn’t expecting this many people. “WE GOT HER!” She cheered, causing an eruption of cheering and yelling from the mob. She then turned around, grabbed the bat she had put down, and smashed the adoption centre computer to pieces. “Can’t let them adopt my favourite little Princess…” She grinned. “What… what is this?” I asked, looking out at the massive crowd on the other side of the doorway. “These…” Claire said, pointing out to the whole mob, “Are your supporters.” “This many? Wow… I’m… honoured… but this won’t solve anything. I still attacked Chris.” “And rightfully so. LIBRA looked through his computer after the incident and… yeah… HQ is in chaos right now.” “But you can’t just rescue me and run away. The police…” “Can’t stop this many.” She replied, grinning at me. “Just how many… are there…?” Malcolm walked over and grabbed me, lifting me up and placing me on his shoulders like I was a little kid. And with my legs wrapped around his head, I looked out from this high lookout spot over the crowd… which went a lot further than the adoption centre waiting room. Internally I was screaming as I was carried out into the crowd, on Mal’s shoulders, with everyone cheering at me and chanting. “How many are there?” I asked him again, now that we were out on the street and I could get a proper look at the enormous crowd that had gathered for me. It was hard getting my voice down to him, even despite me being on his shoulders, as the uproar from the crowd upon seeing me was deafening. “This goes on for a dozen or so streets… and more are joining by the minute.” He yelled up at me. “Wait… what?” “There are hundreds of thousands here for you, Liv. Littles AND Amazons.” “H… how? In such a short amount of time? What…?” Claire held on close to Malcolm’s hand, so that we didn’t get separated in the crowd. “The country saw what happened. They also heard it. Chris… he didn’t realise your microphone was turned on before you walked out. We all heard everything. His plan, what he did to Charlie…” Claire explained. “Then when you got forcibly adopted by the Deputy PM… the rioting began.” “But… how did this all happen so quickly?” “People have been waiting for an excuse to riot. There have been loads of protests in the last six months. But this took it too far, so people started rioting. The police are trying to handle it back at the hall where you held the event, but Claire took charge of a small splinter of people and brought them here to rescue you.” Malcolm said, smiling at Claire. “I have people in positions throughout the government. So I found out which adoption centre they were taking you to. We marched here as quickly as possible.” Claire continued. “Wait… this is a ‘small’ splinter of the people?” I asked. “You’ve seen nothing yet, Liv. Change is coming. Whether they like it or not.” She grinned. I wasn’t sure what was going on, or what the results of any of this would be… but… after nearly being adopted, then being threatened by Rachel and nearly dying… I was in no clear state of mind right now. I wasn’t exactly thinking straight as we marched back in the direction of the hall where I was originally taken. This was probably a bad idea. Normally I’d try to be a bit more diplomatic. Or at least since I got elected I had adopted that stance. To be truthful… the old me… pre-Charlie me… she would have been the one arranging the protests. Even if it was in secret. But still…. Maybe I had changed a bit too much to please voters? Maybe the adrenaline coursing through me was actually good? I guess I wouldn’t know until after everything dies down. “So what’s the plan?” I asked Malcolm as he carried me at the head of the protest, heading back towards the rest of the people who were protesting at the hall. “I… have no idea. I was kinda hoping you would figure something out, after all… they came here to save you. You are the one who started all this.” “I… I should say something to them when we get there.” “Not long now, so think about what you wanna say. This is the change we’ve been wanting to see. Let’s make the government hear us.” ‘Government… hear us…’ I knew what I wanted to say… what I wanted to do. So I held on tightly as we wandered down the streets, blocking traffic, causing a scene… everything we tried so hard to avoid whilst we ran our little operation all that time ago. There were so many people. And in the background, police sirens indicated the presence of the officers who were trying to keep everything handled. This… this ocean of people spanned every road in every direction within view. And I had been told there were more of us too, this went on for miles apparently, all here to protest my arrest… and the government. My government. The one I was elected to represent. I guess this could be considered my resignation letter from the party… “You okay, Liv?” Claire me asked as Malcolm put me down next to the hall where I had just been taken from. “Yeah… I… umm… I don’t know…” “Go in there. The press are still in there, they kinda got trapped when our protest surrounded them, preventing the police from getting anywhere near. They took Chris away already, but everyone else got stuck inside. You should say something to them… to all of us… to everyone.” I think I knew what I wanted to say. I think. Maybe. Fucking hell, I really hope I do. But despite wanting to tear down this corrupt, shitty world… I had a higher priority on my list right now. “I noticed a lot of littles in the crowd. They’re… they’re okay, right? Not getting trampled on or…” I asked, before Claire interrupted me. “Or hypnotised? The police tried that tactic. The Amazons prevented them, and smashed up their equipment before anyone could be affected.” Claire smiled, reassuring me. “Thank fuck. But will they try again?” “We’ll stop them. Don’t worry about the crowd, they understand the risks. They wouldn’t be protesting if they didn’t. You get in there, up on that stage, and do what you do best.” Malcolm grinned at me. “...Okay. I’ve got this. I’ve got this. I’ve… Malcolm… I’ve not got this…” I started panicking as the reality of what was actually going on hit me like a freight train. Claire bent down to my height and pulled me in close for a hug, squeezing the stuffing out of me and stroking my hair… like Charlie does… or used to do… “It’s going to be okay. I know it’s scary. But you got this. I’ve trusted you since the day we met, hun. And I’ll always have your back. I knew you’d accomplish great things when I first saw you, and this is your moment. All the other amazing achievements you’ve managed are just stepping stones towards this. This is the change we’ve been waiting for…” “So no pressure…” I laughed, in-between tears. “No pressure at all…” She grinned. “But if anyone can manage this, you can. And if Charlie were here right now, she’d be the one doing this same speech.” “You do sound a lil like her…” I giggled. “Good. She’s a good one, and you’ll be back with her in no time. But for now, you need to speak to these people… to the country. Most of the country has your back, they’ve just been too scared to stand up. So make them stand up. Make them listen. Go be your amazing self and show them why we fight.” “I… Okay. Thanks, Claire. You’re gonna be an amazing Mum.” She pulled me in closer and squeezed me once more, before letting me go, spinning me around and smacking my padded butt, making me scoot forward quickly. And so I braced myself for what awaited me in the hall in front of me… and what I had to do. I was going to do this. This was the moment of change. ======================================================= 😈 If you haven't seen, I'm now up and running on Subscribestar! 18. Chapter 30: Red Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess All I saw was red. I didn’t have Charlie to hold me back or tell me to just drop it. I didn’t have my friends nearby. Malcolm was in the audience, but he wasn’t quick enough to stop me from doing something very, very stupid. Pouncing on Chris, I started flailing about, hitting him as hard as I could, wherever I could, as he lay there on the floor, screaming for help. I didn’t care. He… he caused what happened to Charlie. He… the head of LIBRA… was the corruption all along. He is the one pulling the strings like some fucking evil genius… and for what end? What could be worth putting my fucking wife in a fucking coma? I heard security rush the stage and all the press snapping pictures left and right, most likely trying to get the perfect picture that showed just what littles are capable of and why they should be regressed and kept as infants. But I didn’t care. This man… this monster… he hurt my Charlie, and I would make him pay. Clawing at his face, trying to hurt him as much as he hurt Charlie… I felt a hand grab my arm and pull me off, holding me back. One security guard held me back whilst the others around us rushed to Chris to see if he was okay. One guard was all that was needed with me being a little, as our security are all Amazons. “LET ME AT HIM! HE HURT CHARLIE! HE HYPNOTISED HER AND PUT HER IN A FUCKING COMA!” I screamed, making sure everyone heard me. “OLIVIA! OLIVIA!” I heard the press call out. “WHAT IS THIS ABOUT HYPNOSIS? AMAZONS CAN’T BE HYPNOTISED LIKE LITTLES CAN. WHY WOULD YOU MAKE SUCH ACCUSATIONS?” They shouted, trying to ask their questions over the chaos that was happening around us. I struggled against the tight grip of the Amazon security guard clad in black gear, but his strength far surpassed my own. So I focused my attention on the members of the press trying to squeeze over to get closer to me for a comment. “LIBRA has technology… technology that can be used on Amazons! It can regress any of you just like it can any other little!” I wish they could have heard me speak the truth. I wish they had heard what I had to say, but the ensuing chaos surrounding us meant that my quiet voice was inaudible and my message was lost. “Call an ambulance. Don’t bother with the police. I already have their permission for this.” I heard a familiar voice taking charge of the situation, before one of the crowd surrounding Chris stood up straight and looked directly at me. The Deputy Prime Minister. Rachel Brackenstone. Of course she was here. Brunette hair down to her shoulders, thick rimmed glasses perched on the tip of her nose, wrinkles adorning her very toned face… she looked good for her age, honestly. And as usual, she was wearing one of her very conservative dresses, never opting for a suit or even a blazer. She was the epitome of femininity. To me… she always reminded me of an old librarian. She was always in the background, keeping quiet, as the PM turned against littles and focused entirely on preserving the status quo. She had always been against little’s rights, but she was mostly harmless before the election. She always appeared to be very much on the fence, hence why I had decided to run for their party. But then we won, and just like the others… she showed her true colours. Always talking down to me, demeaning me, treating me like a child… she was just as bad as the rest of them. And here she was… looking at me with the creepiest grin on her face. “Oh Olivia… you overstepped this time.” She said, walking over to where the security guard held me. “Mrs Brackenstone…” A reporter called out. “Will your party punish this little girl for her crime?” She turned to the reporter and put on that innocent, sweet smile of hers she saves for the cameras. “Miss Clarke should be punished for her crime, just like any criminal. But I also believe that sometimes… little’s just aren’t raised properly. So I’ll make sure she is re-raised to be a good little baby…” My heart sank. “Does this mean what I think it means? Are you…?” A reporter asked her. “Adopting Miss Clarke? Absolutely.” “YOU CAN’T DO THIS!” I screamed. “LEGALLY I’M… MMPHHHH!” Before I could finish my sentence, a dummy gag was inserted into my mouth and quickly inflated, preventing me from speaking. “You broke the law and attacked someone, showing that you are clearly unable to be a grown up. And yes, whilst your marriage would mean that Charlie would become your Mummy… she’s currently in a coma, correct?” “Miss Williams really is in a coma?” Another reporter asked. “So with no Mummy to take care of you… I’ve decided I will take the role and adopt you myself.” Rachel turned and grinned at me. I struggled as hard as I could, trying my best to free myself, but this guard’s grip was not going to give way any time soon. “Mrs Brackenstone…” The PM’s advisor rushed up to her. “We’ve got it handled here. Ambulance is on its way, Chris will make it with just a few facial scars. If you want to take little Livie here, and get her adopted before…” “Before her little Judge friend turns up… yes, good idea. Let’s go get you legally adopted, shall we?” Rachel said, turning to me. I gulped as she indicated to the guard to follow her. ------------------------------------------------------------- We pulled up outside the nearest adoption centre, and my nerves were completely shot. I was powerless to resist any of this, not only due to their Amazon strength compared to my own, but also by the restraints they had put me in… …As if they knew they’d be needed. “Jeffrey, Marshall… wait outside the car for a minute, then you can help carry her in.” She told the security escorts who drove us here. Both well-built, sharply dressed men got out of the car, closed the doors and waited at the front of the car, leaving the Deputy Prime Minister and myself in the car, with me safely strapped into a car seat, unable to move, unable to speak… unable to do anything right now. “I’m sure you have a million questions right now. And you’re a clever little girl… I’m sure you worked out that this was all planned. You’ve been getting too big for your nappies lately… and needed knocking down a peg. Once we heard that Chris had the technology to hypnotise Amazons, I had this perfect idea to make Charlotte Williams… just like the rest of us Amazons. Or at least the few who still believe in how things should be. You did a great job at swaying the public, as a large amount of the population are actually siding with your silly little beliefs that littles are equal to Amazons. But don’t worry, once they see you being paraded about in your thick lil nappies and shitting yourself on stage… no one will believe that anymore.” I screamed at her, but most of it was muffled by the dummy. “I don’t know how you got yourself free of the hypnosis, as we programmed Charlie to want to hypnotise you. But believe me… I’ll make sure it sticks this time. You’ll be latched onto my tit, shitting yourself, and looking adorable. And there’s nothing that wife of yours can do.” I sighed, knowing she was right… that there was literally nothing I could do right now to save myself, especially with Charlie out of it. It meant that legally… I think this bitch can actually adopt me. Even if Charlie wakes up… it may be too late at that point. “So we’re going to go in, fill out a few forms, get you chipped and tagged, then you’ll be coming home with me. Then tomorrow… we’ll have another press event where I tell the country that you have been stripped of your position as both a member of Parliament… AND as a big girl. And that you’ll be going to the House of Commons… in a stroller. Does that sound good, babygirl? And if you’re well behaved… I won’t get you renamed whilst I’m here. Though I think you should at least take my last name, if you’re going to be my daughter.” I wanted to be sick. This… this was… I needed my wife. I needed Charlie. I didn’t know what to do… I felt so lost right now. Rachel signalled to the escorts, who walked over and opened both back doors. Whilst one helped my soon-to-be-Mummy out of her side, the other lifted the whole car seat out of the back using the carry handle, and carried me behind the Deputy PM into the adoption centre. ----------------------- “Name?” The adoption centre manager asked my kidnapper. Wearing a polo-shirt with the company logo on it, with her blonde hair pulled up into a ponytail… she just looked… normal. As if she didn’t ruin little’s lives every day by giving them away to Amazons. “Mrs Rachel Brackenstone.” Rachel replied, positioning me carefully on the counter. “Occupation?” “Deputy Prime Minister.” “Wait… I thought you looked familiar!” The manager laughed. “Reason for adoption? Sorry, I need to ask, it’s on the form.” “Little assaulted someone. I’m re-raising her in response. If she’ll ever even get that far…” “This little kid assaulted someone?” “Don’t think she’s an innocent little baby. She’s vicious. Don’t let her out of the carrier.” Rachel warned. “Thank you for informing us. We’ll keep her in it for the health checkup. Now… What is her name?” “Olivia Clarke. Though I’d like to change it to Olivia Brackenstone, please.” “Are you married?” “Yes. My husband will be so happy he’s finally a Daddy!” ‘A… Daddy? Please… no…’ “His name?” The adoption centre manager asked. “Neil Brackenstone.” “Occupation?” “He’s on the board for this place.” “He is? Oh wow…” The Manager responded, shocked by this information. Honestly… so was I. I didn’t know just how corrupt and anti-little my party was. I just believed whatever Chris told me. And it’s clear now that he had his own agenda, and wasn’t wanting to improve the lives of littles at all. “How long will this take? I need to get home soon.” Rachel said, sighing. “If you’d like to fill in this form… I’ll take little Olivia here into the back for a quick checkup and get her processed. Would you like any…” “Chipped with tracking, please.” Rachel said, cutting her off. “Right-o… okay little Livie… let’s get you looked over for your new Mummy…” The Manager said, gripping the handle of my carrier and lifting me off the counter. I was carried off into the backroom, where a clinical table stood in the middle, surrounded by the usual cabinets you’d see in a Doctor’s examination room. And I knew just what this ‘checkup’ would entail. I’d have every orifice checked, my heartrate taken, everything. It would be invasive and disgusting and dehumanising. And I dreaded it so much right now, my heart racing as she settled me down on top of the examination table. “Your new Mummy says you’re going to be a handful… so we’ll have to be very careful with you, won’t we, sweetheart? But don’t worry, I’ll try to make it as painless as possible. And then when you’re chipped and tracked… your Mummy will never lose you! Now… let’s just do a quick scan for existing nanites, as your Mummy may want to get you adapted in the future, and she’ll need to know beforehand if there are already nanites in you. You silly littles pick them up so easily from all sorts of places!” The Manager brought a scanner over my body, which instantly gave off signals. “Oh… you do! Let’s see what they’re there for, shall we?” She pressed a few keys on the keyboard under the table before I heard screeching sounds coming from under me. “What the fuck? What the hell caused my computer to do that?” She cried out and stepped back in shock. I laughed behind the dummy, knowing full well that Faith must have added a few features to my nanites in that latest patch. Features I’d no doubt have to ask for details about if I ever get out of this predicament, but right now I just appreciated that I seemed to have some defence against this woman trying to process my adoption. “Fine. We’ll do it the old fashioned way without a scan. I’ll just note it as ‘has existing unknown nanites’. Now for… wait, what’s that noise?” I had no idea what she was talking about as she stopped completely in her tracks, listening for a non-existe… *thump* ‘Wait… no… I hear it…’ *thump* “What is that? It sounds like it's coming from outside…” She said, putting down her pen. *thump* A smashing sound echoed through the building as the door opened quickly and three people clambered in, hastily closing the door behind them. The Deputy PM looked terrified as she rushed over to the table, whilst her escorts barricaded the door with their backs. “What’s going on?” The Manager asked Rachel, a slight hint of panic in her voice. And with her own panicked voice and a terrified expression on her face, Rachel looked at me. “They’re here… for her.” ======================================================= If you haven't seen, I'm now up and running on Subscribestar! 20. Chapter 29: Phone Calls Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess A week passed. Charlie had remained in her coma, but she had been moved to what used to be my old apartment, which when I had given it up had been turned into a residential suite for littles undergoing restoration therapy with Eve. It was currently empty, the previous tenant had just moved out after regaining their adulthood, so it was a perfect time for me to move back home… with my wife this time. It was just like being at home again, which helped me a lot dealing with everything that was going on. And whilst I had a lot of privacy, we did have nurses popping in and checking Charlie’s vitals, as well as Eve coming in to make sure we’re both doing okay, so it wasn’t like I felt completely uninterrupted. It was a bit annoying but honestly… with Charlie in this coma, I appreciated the small chats I had with the people taking care of her. My control of my bladder and bowels had been slowly regained, thanks to the restorative nature of the nanites mixed with a lot of potty training, all thanks to Eve. She did say though that if they had rescued me just a couple days later, it would have taken a lot longer to regain. I very was fortunate in that regard. Ha. ‘Fortunate’. ‘Fortunate’ to have my wife turned against me and then put into a coma. ‘Fortunate’ to be attacked by someone without even knowing who it is ‘Fortunate’ to get my potty training back… I would have lost hope if it wasn’t for Charlie and my friends. I would have broken down and given up being an MP, given up even trying to stay an adult in this world… if it wasn’t for my wife, my friends, and the support of so many in the hospital, all working tirelessly to try and help Charlie. Faith and Eve eventually came to the conclusion that Charlie just needs time to heal, that she’ll awaken soon. Whether it's in a few days or a few months… or even a few years, at least there is no trace of hypnosis affecting her, according to Faith and Eve anyway, it’s just a matter of her needing to heal and rest. So I sat in my room, playing games and watching movies whilst snuggled up to my wife whilst she lay sleeping, hoping that me being near her will somehow help her heal quicker. “Hey kiddo…” Malcolm said as he entered the room without even knocking. “Oh… hi…” I responded, the enthusiasm I used to have was long gone at this point. “I have something for you.” “What?” Not even a surprise could get me cheery at this point. “Your phone.” “You’re finally giving me it back?” I asked, raising my eyebrow at him, suspiciously. “Your phone has been blowing up… and we’ve been keeping the Prime Minister off your back for a week… but he’s threatening to fire you at this point.” He said, looking awkward. “Ugh. Here, give…” I said, holding out my hand. Malcolm pulled out a small phone from his back pocket and placed it in my hand. ‘170 text and 35 missed calls… and these are the ones they didn’t answer. Wow…’ “I’ll sort it.” I told Malcolm. “Don’t let them…” “Push me around? Yeah, I got this. Trust me.” I didn’t care anymore. If the PM wanted to fire me, he can damn well do so. Malcolm smiled awkwardly and left the room, closing the door behind him. “I’ve got this.” I told myself, before looking down at Charlie. The temptation to check out social media first was very tempting, but Sarah and Zoey assured me everything was handled on that front, and that I should avoid it at all costs right now, for my own benefit. So I moved my thumb away from the icon and over to the phone book icon. Scrolling down, I figured I best call my ‘boss’ first. So I took a deep breath and pushed down with my thumb. “Miss Clarke…” The Prime Minister growled down the phone. “Sir…” I responded, through gritted teeth. “Care to tell me why you’ve been AWOL for nearly two weeks?” “I assume you saw social media?” “I did. But I wanted to give you a chance to explain yourself. But your so-called ‘friends’ wouldn’t let me speak to you. I’m very close to kicking you from the party and calling for a by-election.” “Well… Sir… I have been in the hospital for the past week. And before that… well you saw social media. Someone got to Charlie and…” “Someone got to her? What, like a bribe?” “No… someone hypnotised her.” I replied. “Don’t be so fucking stupid, you stupid little girl. We both know that’s not possible.” “Yes it is. Someone wanted to get to me through Charlie, and used subliminal hypnosis on her to make her more…” “More what?” “...Amazon-like.” I said, bluntly. “Liv, I’ve had it up to here with your wild stories and your excuses.” He was starting to sound more and more irate. “I’m not lying. I’m lying beside my unconscious wife right now. She’s in a coma.” “Liv, I don’t care what is going on in your life. You can’t just go AWOL for over a week. We need a handle on the public opinion regarding your little games with your Mummy.” “She…” “I don’t care, Liv. I’m setting up a press event this afternoon. If you’re not there, I’ll consider it your resignation.” And before I could react, before I could argue… he hung up on me. I wanted to punch something. Someone. I wanted to throw things and break things… but instead I just froze there, sat beside my wife, unable to even speak. Then another call came through so I quickly answered it. “Hey Mum…” I told my Mum everything. Apparently she had been so worried about me after seeing me on the news dressed like a regressed little, but thankfully Malcolm and that lot had made sure to keep her updated. What they hadn’t told her is that I’ve been in hospital the past week, so as soon as I let that slip from my lips… she immediately started putting on her coat. I wanted to tell her not to bother, that I’d be okay and she needn't risk coming out to see me… but I needed my Mum right now. So I agreed for her to come stay here for a couple of days whilst I try and get my life back together, and then hung up… preparing myself for the next call… the one I had been dreading all week. “Hi Moira…” “Olivia! I was worried sick! I saw the news and your friends reassured me everything was okay. Is everything okay?” Charlie’s Mum sounded so worried… which just made me dread giving her the news even more. “Everything… is… umm…” “Are you okay?” She asked. “I’m ok.” I replied, not knowing how to tell her. “Oh good, and Charlie? Can I speak to her? Is she there?” “She’s here… I…” My words got stuck in my throat as I choked up, on the verge of tears… “Liv… What's happened to my girl?” Moira sounded like she was going to panic. “She… she’s in a coma.” “A… coma? But… but… how? When? Why?” “Someone wanted to get to us. They hypnotised Charlie to act more… Amazon-like.” “But that’s not possible…” She said, sounding just as sceptical as the Prime Minister did. “Oh but it is, Moira. I’m sorry, but it is.” “You mean people could… use it on us?” “I know it’s scary. You now know what it’s like for us. But don’t worry, we got it out of Charlie’s system… the problem is… it left her in a coma. She’s going to be okay… but we don’t know when she’ll wake up.” The phone went silent for a while. I didn’t want to say anything, I wanted Moira to be able to process this, so I stayed quiet. “You say ‘when’… so there is hope?” Moira spoke up, sounding like she had been crying. “Yes, this isn’t an ‘if’. This is a ‘when’. At least that’s what I’ve been told. She just needs to heal.” “So where is she? Can I come see her?” “We’re at Eve’s hospital. We moved her into a residential room and I’m living here with her.” “Oh honey… you must be so distraught right now.” “I’m… managing.” “I’m coming over to help.” “Moira… it’s okay…” “No, I’m not taking no for an answer. I’ll help take care of my daughters. Both of them.” “I… thanks, Moira.” “I’ll be over this afternoon. I need to sort a few things out and make sure my husband is updated, but then I’ll be over as soon as possible.” “Okay, well it’ll be good to see you again. I’ll probably see you tonight, as I’ve got a press conference to do in the afternoon. I better go… I’ve got more calls to make.” “Chris… are you there?” I asked, nervously. “Olivia. What the fuck happened?” Chris was already on the attack, and suddenly I was playing defence. “Someone got to us.” I replied. I worded it carefully. If there was a potential mole at LIBRA, I didn’t want to tip them off that we knew. They could be listening in to our conversation. “Got to you? So this wasn’t just you playing your stupid little baby games with your ‘Mummy’?” “Fuck off, Chris, she’s in a coma.” I snapped at him. “A coma? So…” “And I barely made it out of it with control of my bladder. No thanks to you…” “What do you mean? What the fuck are you accusing me of?” He yelled. “...I’m not! I… I can’t explain here. I need to talk with you, in private.” “Well the PM told me that he’s scheduling a press conference to explain your absence and the… public incident. So we can talk after that.” “You’re going to be there?” “As head of LIBRA, I have to be. So just play along with whatever the PM says and I’ll talk to you in private afterwards.” “I…” Before I could finish, he hung up on me. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- After much arguing with all my friends, who all insisted it was a bad idea for me to go out for this press thing, especially after an attack on Charlie and I, I managed to convince them I knew what I was doing. So Malcolm brought me one of my pants suits from home and once I had changed, he also drove me to the event, which was being held at a hall on the opposite side of town. “Are you going to be okay?” He asked as I straightened my suit after the not-very-dignified ride in the car seat. I straightened my hair, adjusted the pullup that I was wearing underneath my smart exterior, and smiled up at my friend. “I’ll be fine.” I replied, trying to sound as confident as possible, even if that was purely an act. “Well I’ll be in the back, just in case.” “What would I do without my bodyguard…” I grinned at him. “Probably sucking on some other woman’s tits…” “Wow… you don’t hold back, do you Malcolm?” I laughed. “You know me, Liv. Now go on… go play good girl for the PM…” “Finally.” Chris said, getting up from his seat in the back room where we were apparently preparing for my speech. “I’m… on time though?” I replied, confused by his impatience despite me making it with plenty of time to spare. “Just get in the seat, we’ll get your makeup perfect, then we’ll go over your lines.” “Lines? So you’re just going to come up with some excuse for…” Chris mimed zipping his lips before signalling to the makeup artist and one of the PM’s advisors to leave the room. Once the room was empty, leaving just Chris and I alone together, he walked up to me and got awkwardly close to my face. “Look, you say the speech you’ve been given. Answer the questions you are given by the press with the answers on your cards.” “Wait… so the questions I’ll be asked are already rigged?” I asked him. “Of course. We can’t have the public know the truth behind any of this.” “You mean that Amazons are susceptible to a new kind of hypnosis? That they too can be brainwashed? That they are now just as vulnerable as the littles they torture?” “Exactly. We have to play along.” “We can’t. We have to tell them.” I argued, actually putting my foot down and holding my position as he tried to intimidate me with his posture. “Don’t dare, Olivia. Not now.” “No Chris, I disagree. We have to tell them. LIBRA has been compromised. Someone attacked Charlie. Someone stole the plans for your device and replicated it.” “That’s not possible.” “How do you know? My wife is in a coma right now. There’s the proof your organisation has been infiltrated!” “Because I know it’s not!” He yelled at me. “Chris, I’m sorry, but you’re blind if you…” “Stop being such a fucking brat!” He screamed, making me lose my voice and take a step back in shock. “I… what?” “Fucking hell, Olivia… you are so fucking infuriating. Your little outbursts are driving me insane! I regret putting you forward as our candidate. It may have won us the election, but you… fuck, you are so annoying!” “I’m sorry if standing up for what is right ‘annoys’ you… but…” “What is ‘right’? You don’t know anything about what is ‘right’! You get kidnapped and suddenly you’re the fucking favourite. Everyone loves you and your fucking wife!” Chris was scaring me right now. I knew he had been acting differently with me since I got elected… but… this was a whole new side to him, one I didn’t know he had. “I know keeping the truth from people is wrong at least. My wife would agree, if she were here, and she’s done more for littles than your organisation has. We both have.” “Yeah… and where did that end up? You just ended up pissing off the wrong people.” “And that won’t stop us. I’ll keep fighting for littles, I’ll keep working for peace between us and the Amazons.” “THERE IS NO PEACE BETWEEN US! THERE NEVER WILL BE!” A knock at the door interrupted us, thankfully. I wasn’t sure how much more I could deal with from Chris, especially after everything that happened in the past two weeks. “It’s time…” the PM’s advisor said, sheepishly. “Get out there and say your lines.” Chris said, pulling out a stack of cards and shoving them against my chest, before storming out ahead of me. As I walked out onto the stage, all cameras focused on me and with the flashes on them all going off… my heart was racing. I knew what I needed to do… but Chris’ anger was still playing in my head and I was worried that maybe I was making a mistake. But just as I took only a couple of steps out, I felt someone grab my hand and pull me back slightly. I turned to see Chris, staring daggers at me, as he clutched my wrist so hard it started hurting. “We need this. Say the cards. Don’t dare go off script. Or else.” “Or else… what?” I asked, defiantly. “Or else I’ll make sure I do a better job with Charlie next time and you'll never get to grow up to mess with my plans again.” ======================================================= *sets up a deck chair and awaits the comments whilst eating popcorn* If you haven't seen, I'm now up and running on Subscribestar! 21. Chapter 28: Updates Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess “No seriously, who was it?” I asked again, laughing awkwardly. “I know it’s hard to believe, Liv, but I’m serious. Madison got in touch with us and showed us the video of you in the playroom at Tot’s nursery. We didn’t know what to believe at first, but she tailed Charlie when she saw the two of you walking through the shopping centre. She told us that Charlie was acting like she used to. We nearly told her to get lost when she said that, but she backed it up with evidence.” Malcolm explained. “I thought she was supposed to have been regressed?” “We thought that too. Apparently her adoptive ‘parents’ thought she was doing better and started reraising her. She’s only been back to normal for about a week, though she still has to wear nappies like a regressed little until she can master potty training again.” “She told you all this?” “Oh you could tell by the padding around her arse. She… she’s a different person now, Liv. She understands that we must all hate her now, but she seems to genuinely understand how hard littles have it… or at least have a vague understanding. She… she has empathy now!” “I… still can’t believe that.” “And I understand why you can’t, especially after what she did at your wedding. But Liv… she came to us and showed us clips of how Charlie was treating you. I’m glad we trusted her… otherwise you’d be in a much worse state.” “I… well I’m glad she’s understanding of our situation now, but I still don’t trust her.” “You don’t have to. She’s learning to be independent again and you don’t ever have to talk to her if you don’t want to. She just… she wanted to make up for the damage she did to you, even if only a little.” “Well… now I feel bad. Great. I’m glad she’s a better person now.” I sighed in frustration. “Me too. Now, I’ll go get you that food, then you’re going to put that head down on the pillow and get some sleep, understood little missy?” “Little Missy? Don’t try to go all ‘Daddy’ on me now, Mal, just because you’re gonna be a Dad.” “Then don’t stay up stupidly late without eating. Plus someone has to care for the widdle baby until her Mummy wakes up!” He teased. But for once… I didn’t appreciate it. “Mal… please… don’t. Too soon.” “Oh, sorry. Yeah… shit. Umm… I’ll go get your food.” And as he closed the door softly, I wondered if this incident had caused irreparable damage to my baby headspace and ruined the special bond Charlie and I had. “So how bad is it on social media? You won’t give me my phone so I can’t check. Has anyone even called? The PM? Chris? Anything? Anyone?” I whined, sounding like a child right now. Zoey and Sarah just sat opposite me in the little-sized seats that had been brought into Charlie’s hospital room. It was the day after we were admitted and I was anxious to see the fallout of our public… exposure… “...Umm… it’s pretty bad…” Sarah finally admitted, looking guilty. “Well yeah, if you only look at the news headlines.” Zoey said, sticking her tongue out at her girlfriend. “Wait, what?” I asked, confused. “The news has waged an all out war on you, Liv. Every Amazon-owned media outlet, both newspapers and on TV are smearing your name and making you out to be unfit to be an adult, let alone an MP.” Sarah explained. “I figured…” I sighed, knowing this was probably it for me, this was the end. “BUT!” Zoey interrupted. “If you look at your supporters, and even some of the fence-sitters, regarding little’s rights, you’re gaining a lot of sympathy. People are worried about what this means for littles, but they know it was probably some attack on you. It’s also making Amazons worry, as this was a drastic change in personality for Charlie. Due to you both being in the public eye the past few years, and everyone knowing what you and Charlie stand for regarding littles… they knew something must have happened to your wife. They don’t know it was hypnosis yet, but they’re all wondering if someone like Charlie can be changed like that… What else can they do to Amazons?” “So… public opinion is a mixed bag?” I asked. “The ones against you to begin with hate you more. The ones supporting you or even on the fence… support you more. I’d say more of the public stands with you than against you, it’s purely that the media is focusing heavily on smearing your name and reputation and they’re the ones with the biggest voice and largest reach. It may seem like people want you regressed, but I think it’s very much the opposite right now. There’s even talk of protests!” “Protests? For what?” “For your Little’s rights bill. They want you safe and protected, they want all little’s safe.” “I… wow. That’s a lot to take in.” I wondered how this affected my job but also my marriage to Charlie, as people will no doubt say I’m not mature enough to be an adult after everything that has gone on. And what was worse… was I had to think about all this in my pyjamas. I hadn’t even gotten dressed yet, and it was already nearly dinner time. I hadn’t left Charlie’s side the entire time she slept. Changes were taken care of by Eve or Claire, Malcolm made sure I ate… and whilst I always appreciated my friends, this gave me a whole new level of appreciation for them. “So what about calls? Who has tried to call me?” I asked, trying to move on to the topic I reeeeeally dreaded talking about. “The PM called. Says he needs a meeting with you when you’re out of the hospital. Something about your future as an MP.” Zoey read out loud the list she had made on her phone. “So he wants to get rid of me. Nothing new then.” I replied, rolling my eyes. “Chris called. Gave some very sympathetic bullshit, followed by a demand to talk to you at the earliest moment.” “He can wait.” “Lots of members of the press called. Told them where to shove it.” “I… I guess that was expected, and whilst I should tell you not to talk to the press on behalf of me like that… Thanks, I appreciate it.” “Your Mum called. And Charlie’s Mum. They’re both worried sick.” “I’ll get in touch with them both soon, tell them what has happened. My Mum will be relieved, but still worried. Charlie’s Mum… oh I’m dreading that call.” “Yeah… that’s going to be difficult.” Zoey said. “What did you tell her?” “Just that Charlie and you were unable to get to the phone right now. I didn’t mention anything to anyone about being at the hospital.” “Good job. Don’t want them worrying too much… yet. Right… I guess I should get out of these PJs and get all this stuff sorted.” “Liv… you were regressed just over 24 hours ago… I think you can rest a bit…” “I can’t, not yet.” “No, you go home and rest. Doctor’s orders.” Eve said from the doorway. “But…” I tried to argue. “No buts… you need a shower, you need to get some clean clothes, and you need some time away from this room. So please, Liv, go home for a bit. Charlie will be safe with us. I’ll call you if anything changes.” Eve ordered. “I can’t…” “Liv, this isn’t me asking. This is me telling you. Charlie won’t be waking up anytime soon, and if she does, I’ll call you straight away.” I looked at my best friends and they both smiled and nodded at me, making it clear that they all wanted me to get some space and go home for a bit. I guess they were right, I did need a shower and I needed some clothes. I only had these PJs because they belong to Sarah, who was roughly about my size. That’s when Ellie popped her head in, just squeezing under where Eve was resting against the door frame. “I can take her home, it’s on the way.” She offered. “But you can’t drive…” Sarah said, sticking her tongue out. “Yeah, well neither can you, stinky pants!” Ellie teased my friend. ‘Appears like Ellie has made friends with mine. I guess that was inevitable with her working here and the two practically living here.’ I thought to myself, smiling. “So how are you gonna take her home then? Gonna give her a piggyback all the way there?” Sarah retorted. “My Mummy can give her a lift. Danny is with Daddy today, so there’s an available car seat. So Liv… want a lift?” “I…” I looked up at Eve, who gave me that stern look she always gives me when I need to be sensible about things. “Fine. Thanks. But how do I get back…?” “We’ll figure that out later. I’ll get Malcolm to pick you up in a few hours or something, then we’ll arrange a rota or whatever to ferry you to and from the hospital.” Eve said. “That doesn’t seem convenient.” I commented. “But you’re worth it, so shush, little Missy, and give Charlie a kiss before you get that padded butt in the car. Actually… speaking of butt…” Eve walked over to me and pulled the back of my nappy out, giving it a quick inspection. “I’ll change you first, then you’ll be alright until you come back later.” After a quick pout at Eve, a very quick but thorough nappy change, and making sure to give Charlie a kiss, promising her that I’ll be back soon, I followed Ellie to her Mummy’s car, and got myself strapped in, thanks mostly to her Mummy. “Here we go. Are you going to be alright?” Catherine asked as she helped me to my feet after lifting me out of the car seat. We had just parked up outside my house and she had clearly just been working as she wore her smart clothes and long coat, stuff I only ever saw her in when she was picking up Ellie from the hospital. “Thanks. I’ll… I’ll be alright.” I replied. “If you need anything, just give me or Ellie a call, okay? We’re here for you. I have no real idea what you’re going through right now, but I can empathise. So don’t be a stranger, okay?” Catherine was so friendly and lovely and was the perfect Mummy. Ellie was very lucky to have her. Which made all this so much more difficult, as it made me miss mine even more. Just thinking of Charlotte laying in that hospital bed… unconscious… I… I held in my tears as I tried giving Ellie and Catherine my bravest face, smiling at them as I waddled slightly to the front door. I was glad that I no longer wore those stupid crawlers, but thanks to the damage the milk caused… I still needed some amount of thickness between my legs, otherwise I’d leak. But hey, at least I can still walk in these, just about, so I had to focus on the positives. I waved goodbye to Ellie and Catherine, who got back in the car and started it up. Turning to the door, I inserted my key slowly and turned… the door slowly creaking open to reveal a desolate hallway. The house felt so dead right now. So empty. “C… Charlie…” I called out, knowing full well she wasn’t here, she was in the hospital, still in her coma, but the shrill tone of my voice appeared to be the crack in the dam that was barely holding my emotions in. Collapsing to my knees, the dam burst and tears streamed down my face. I started screaming, slamming my fists down on the ground, knowing that my Charlie was taken from me, and I wasn’t sure if I’d ever get her back. I wanted to kill someone right now, whoever the sick fuck was who forced that hypnosis shit on my wife. Sure, I was a whole person before I met Charlie. I know what it was like to feel complete without having someone. But then… but then Charlie… She was like a second jigsaw that joined on to my complete one, to create a much bigger jigsaw with an even better picture. So… I don’t know what I’d do without her. I mean after everything we went through with our sisters, finding out we’re soulmates and everything… What am I supposed to do if I never get my Charlie back? And who is to say Faith even successfully removed the hypnosis from Charlie? She said she did… but we won’t find out until she wakes up. What if she’s still the same overly motherly Amazon she was made into thanks to the hypnosis? What am I supposed to do then? That version of Charlie doesn’t want me as her wife, she wants me only as her baby. A car door slammed shut and footsteps ran over the gravel, getting closer and closer. “Oh Liv…” Catherine said, taking off her long coat and wrapping it around me. “Come here.” I sobbed into the coat as the Amazon woman bundled me up into it and held me in her arms. “There there, let it all out. It’s okay. It must be horrible for you right now.” “I… miss… her…” I wailed, sobbing in between words. “I know you do. She’s going to be alright though. She’s one of the strongest women I know. And there’s nothing in this world that could stop her being with you. Just give it time, okay?” “I… don’t know what to do without her…” “How about I take you back to the hospital? I think it was a bit too early to take you home.” “I… shouldn’t.” “There are showers at the hospital, right? Why don’t I get Ellie to grab some of your clothes whilst you and I sit in the car. You can stay all wrapped up and everything, okay?” Catherine suggested. “I… are you sure?” “I’m sure. Let’s go get you back to the car first, and then I can help Ellie out of her seat.” Catherine lifted me up effortlessly whilst I was still bundled up in her coat and carried me over to the car. Placing me on the back seat, she quickly left me there to help Ellie out. “Is she okay?” Ellie asked as her Mummy unclipped her buckle. “I think it’s too early to let her be home on her own like this. So I’m going to take her back to the hospital.” “I agree. So why am I being unbuckled?” Ellie asked, confused. “I need you to go grab a bag and some clothes for Liv, okay? Just prep a weekend bag for her, we can worry about what else she may need later. Just grab some necessities and bring them back here, okay Princess?” “Okay Mummy. Maybe I’ll ask Eve if Liv can move back into her old apartment.” “Huh?” This time Catherine was confused. “Liv used to live in the residential area of the hospital, you know the one where Zoey and Sarah live right now?” “Oh she did?” “Yeah, we could always move her back in there. It’s big enough for Amazons too, so we could probably move Charlie in with her. That way Charlie can still be monitored and cared for, and Liv can feel a little more at home but without the loneliness.” “My genius baby.” Catherine smiled at Ellie, causing her to blush instantly. “I’d… I’d like dat…” I said, tears still streaming down my face. “Then we’ll get that sorted. Right, Ellie, go get her stuff, I’m going to make sure Liv is feeling better before we get her strapped back in.” Ellie smiled at me before rushing off, into my house, leaving me and Catherine alone. “I promise, little one, it’s going to be okay.” And for a second, just a second there… I could feel that side of me stir. Maybe that side of me hadn’t been completely ruined yet. ======================================================= Took so much to tear me from FF7 Rebirth to come and edit and post chapters today. 22. Chapter 27: Announcement Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess I happily played with my toys in the playpen whilst Mr Malcolm and Miss Claire watched over me. Occasionally Miss Claire would walk over and try to play with me, buh she didn’t quite understand what I was trying to do with the blocks that had been given to me. Maybe I was a little disappointed with the choices of toys I had to play with here. At home I have like a bajillion toys in my playpen… whereas here I was given a colouring book with only three colours, and some blocks. I had asked Mr Malcolm why there aren’t more toys, and he said somefing about “You won’t be like this much longer, hopefully.” I have no idea what he was on about, but at least they gave me some blocks. I like blocks! You can make a castle, or try to make a really tall tower, or you can try and spell fings… if you’re big enough. I can’t even spell my own name so I leave it to the grown ups to have that kind of fun with the blocks. Me… I’m a tall tower baby! I love having a tall tower… only to watch it fall. Then rebuild something better from the rubble. It’s much better trying to make somefing good from rubbish. “How much longer are they going to be?” Mr Malcolm asked Miss Claire. He sounded super impatient, much like me whenever Mama says I have to be a good girl and wait. He must really understand just how hard it is to wait! “You heard them, it could take days.” She replied. “I know, but I hate seeing her like this.” “At least Char won’t be waking up anytime soon with all the drugs they’re pushing into her.” “Probably for the best. If we manage to fix her… she’d be mortified seeing what she’s done to her wife. And if we let her roam free as she is now… she could make everything worse. Plus like Eve said, gotta wean the kid off the milk as soon as possible.” Mr Malcolm said to Miss Claire. “I can’t believe we never saw this coming. If we had just gotten to her before she could hypnotise Liv…” “Whoever did this to Charlie… This was a last ditch attempt at getting to Liv. And I swear… when I find the son of a bitch, I’m going to make them pay…” “Mal… calm down. There’s nothing you can do. Plus if you could get your hands on whoever did this… that would just make Liv’s situation worse. She’s already being humiliated online and soon to be in the press… we can’t make it worse for her.” “I know, but it’s just so…” “Infuriating? I know. You’re not the only one who wants to hurt whoever did this to Charlie and Liv. But we need to be sensible.” “I just… I didn’t want to ever have to look after Liv like this again. I didn’t want to see her like this… all innocent and vulnerable.” Mr Malcolm said, sighing and staring at me whilst I continued building my tower. “Even like this, she’s the strongest person we know. She’ll get through this.” Miss Claire replied. “Yeah, with a boatload of therapy.” “I just hope we can fix Charlie. Because if we can’t…” “That would crush Liv. I don’t know if there would be any fight left in her if she loses Charlie completely.” “Then we do our job and let our friends do theirs to try and fix our friends. I know it’s hard seeing Liv and Charlie like this, but she needs protecting and looking after. And that’s our job.” “You’re…” Miss Claire cut him off before he could say anything. “On nappy changing duty, I know. I wouldn’t let you anyway, you’re terrible at putting them on.” “Hey… I’ve only had to do it once or twice in my life.” “And I swear… you’re going to be doing it a lot more.” There was an awkward pause in the room and everything went eerily silent. “Huh?” Mr Malcolm sounded confused and quickly looked back at Miss Claire. Miss Claire looked down at her tummy and placed her hands on it. Mr Malcolm’s mouth opened in shock. “Wait… no…” “I was hoping to tell you… but… then all this happened…” Miss Claire shrugged. “When did you…?” Mr Malcolm’s face lit up like it was Christmas! “A couple of days ago. Took a test and… yeah… I guess we’re one of the fortunate ones.” Mr Malcolm jumped up off his seat and grabbed Miss Claire, squeezing her tightly and swinging her around. “Sorry I didn’t tell you sooner. I was going to… then all this happened. I figured now wasn’t the best time to talk about little ones…” Miss Claire looked guilty all of a sudden. “Understandable. But I’m glad we’ve got some good news! Have you told anyone else?” “Not yet. I figured we’d wait until all this is over and we’ve got our friends back to normal before we announce it.” “Claire… I can’t believe it! You’re pregnant! I’m going to be a dad!” Mr Malcolm cheered. ‘Pregnant? Is Miss Claire going to have a baby like me?’ I thought to myself, finally realising what they were talking about. So I looked at them both and clapped my hands excitedly. “See, even Liv is happy for us!” Miss Claire turned and smiled at me. “She’ll be even happier when she’s back to her normal self. She’ll be ‘Auntie Olivia’.” “I think she’ll love being called Auntie Olivia. She won’t love it when our kid ends up taller than her at a very early age though...” “As long as we raise them to accept littles like we do, I don’t think we’ll have a problem, outside of the occasional teasing between the two of them.” “Right, it’s getting late. Why don’t you go grab us some food, I’ll stay here with sleeping beauty and little Livie. Then you can take the first watch whilst I get some sleep.” Miss Claire said, pointing at the door. “Fine. I guess I’ll have to get used to changing nappies anyway.” Mr Malcolm grinned at Miss Claire, before planting a kiss on her cheek and walking out of the room. Miss Claire walked over to the playpen and knelt down beside it, perching herself on the top and looking in at me. “You okay in there, Livie?” She asked. “Uh huh!” I replied, smiling up at her. “We’re going to get you and your Mummy all better, got that?” “Uh huh!” “Then you can celebrate with us properly.” “You gon haf baby wike me?” “Not like you, sweetie, but yes. They’ll be an Amazon baby, so they’re going to grow up much taller than you. It’s not very common these days, with the birth rate falling so drastically… but it seems like we’ve been blessed. So you, when you get to grow up again, you’ll be an Auntie! Aren’t you excited?” “I… Auntie?” “Yes, sweetie! But for now, you focus on your tower. You’re really good at it.” “Yoo gon be a good Mummy.” I said, smiling up at her before turning my attention to the tower again. Miss Claire smiled at me, but with a hint of sadness, she sighed. “I hope so, kiddo… I hope so.” My eyes slowly opened, adjusting to the light as my vision slowly returned to me. And to my surprise… I found myself surrounded by blurry silhouettes. Jumping up into a sitting position, I threw my arms forward, in preparation, in case I needed to defend myself. “Liv?” Someone asked. “Uhh… what?” I replied. “Liv, is that you?” Another voice was asking this time. “Of course it is…” “What is your wife’s name?” “C… Charlotte… why?” “Thank god, she’s back to normal.” “Normal? What?” I replied to the mysterious, but familiar voice. I stared at the blurred individual until my vision cleared up and I could see… Eve! ‘Wait… Eve?’ “Gave us quite the scare there, kiddo…” Malcolm said, standing in the background of my group of friends. Everyone was here! Eve, Malcolm, Claire, Zoey, Sarah… even… wait… is that Faith? “Faith?” I called out. Faith lunged forward and wrapped her arms around me. “Missed you, sis!” She yelled, squeezing as tightly as possible. “Missed you too… but what are you doing here?” That’s when Faith pulled back, confused. “Wait… do you not remember?” She asked. “Remember what? The last thing I remember…” The video. Charlie being under some form of hypnosis. Everything from before the video flooded back to me. SHIT! “CHARLIE? IS SHE OKAY?” I blurted out in a panic. The group parted so I could see my wife in a hospital bed… unconscious by the looks of it. “What happened to her? Is she okay?” My heart was racing and I was panicking. Thankfully, Eve knelt down and put her hands on my shoulders to reassure me. “Sweetie… She's okay. She was affected by some form of hypnosis, causing her maternal urges to increase exponentially. Which led to her regressing you and using the brute force hypnosis on you.” She explained, calmly. “The… brute force? I thought that couldn’t be fixed yet?” “It can’t, but your nanites make you special. If you didn’t have them, you’d be in a similar state to Amber. It’s a miracle you weren’t even regressed that far back in the first place. We used the safeword but it only fixed your speech issues, it didn’t reverse the regression, that’s when we called Faith. I needed an expert on your nanites, and no one knows them like their creator. She created a patch which will keep you safe from any more hypnosis.” “Anything currently available, anyway…” Faith added. “Not helping…” Malcolm jabbed at her. “Shush you! I don’t see you with an expertise in nanites and brain chemistry.” Faith snapped back at him. “You can’t even change her nappies very well, I mean look at them! A dog could have done a better job!” She pointed at the droopy nappy between my legs that I must admit… wasn’t his best work. “No arguing, please…” I said, interrupting their little friendly spat. “Plus he’s gonna get better at it… he’ll need to.” Malcolm and Claire looked at me in shock. “Wait… why did I say that?” I responded. “Liv… do you remember our conversation from a couple of days ago?” Claire asked, crossing her arms, looking at me with suspicion. “What conversation? You mean… the… OH MY GOD I’M SO SORRY, I DIDN’T MEAN TO ANNOUNCE IT LIKE THAT!” I had remembered everything. It was like a distant memory, stored somewhere in my brain, but it was there. I remembered Charlie babying me, I remembered being rescued by my friends, I remembered Charlie being taken with us… and I remember Claire telling Malcolm she’s pregnant. “Wait… announcement?” Zoey turned to Claire and Malcolm, who looked everywhere but towards the group, hoping the attention would just… disappear. “I assume by you saying he needs to get better… Claire is pregnant?” Eve said, crossing her arms. “I… yeah.” Claire replied. It was at this point that Claire looked like a guilty teenager, looking at the floor, sighing. “OH MY GOD! CONGRATS!” Sarah shouted, running at the couple and wrapping her arms around their legs. Zoey quickly followed suit as the couple swamped our Amazon friends. Even Faith got in on the group hug. I stayed in the playpen, wet nappy around my waist, sat on what is most likely a very messy backside, smiling at the pair, but feeling bad that I spoiled their surprise. Eve just looked at the embarrassed couple before clearing her throat, making everyone stop and pay attention. “Look, congratulations are in order, and believe me, we will properly celebrate this. It’s not often Amazon’s get lucky enough to get pregnant. But right now, we need to finish bringing Liv back to the present.” Eve said, sternly. “But I remember…” I replied. “I know sweetie, but we need to tell you something…” “Tell me what?” I asked with a furrowed brow. Faith then walked over to the playpen and held out her hand through the bars, grabbing mine and squeezing it. “Charlie… well she had been subjected to tech that hasn’t really been tested much before. She was hypnotised and so…” “And so, what?” I asked, my hands trembling in fear at what Faith was about to tell me. “And so I tried my best to fix her…” “You’re talking to me like she’s… like she’s… dead…” “NO! Thank god no… but Liv… the nanites I gave her during our time together couldn’t handle the hypnosis used on her for some reason, but if she hadn’t had them… it would have been a lot worse for her. Whilst I did manage to remove the hypnosis from her thanks to my nanites in her system… she’s in a coma.” “She what?” I said, scrambling to my feet, finding it weird to walk for the first time in days, or however long it had been. “Careful!” Eve said, quickly bending down and picking me up. She knew just what I needed, so she carried me over to my sleeping wife, and sat me beside her. “Is she… is she going to be alright?” “We’re not sure.” Eve answered. “We don’t even know when… or even if she’ll wake up.” I had felt rage before. My wedding day was one of those occasions. But this… seeing my unconscious wife just laying there… and being unable to do anything… I couldn’t hold it all in. I had to let some of it out for my own sake. “FUUUUUUUCK!” I screamed, tears flowing down my face. Eve wrapped her arms around me and squeezed me tightly, quickly followed by Faith doing the same thing. “I promise you, we’ll do everything we can to get her back to you.” Eve whispered to me. “Yeah, I’ll stay here as long as I need to.” “But what about…” I asked. “Morgan? Oh she’s away, busy building our workshop. She understood that I needed to come, and figured she’d only be in the way here.” “So you… so you found a place? A home?” I said, in between sobs. “I did! And I’ll tell you all about it another time. Just… you stay here with your wife for now. There’s a few things going on that you’ll need to know about soon, but for now… just be with her.” Everyone else had left the room to give me some time alone with my wife. I didn’t know what to say to Charlie, or if she could even hear me, but I made sure to tell her how much I loved her and how I understood it wasn’t her who did those things to me, it was the hypnosis. No doubt when she wakes up she’s going to feel guilty anyway, but I wanted to lessen the guilt if I could. Time just had no meaning whilst my wife was out of it like this. I didn’t care about anything else, I just wanted my wife back. I probably needed another change, probably even some food, but I didn’t care. Thankfully, Malcolm knocked and let himself in. “Look, it’s late. You’ve been in this room, regressed, for a few days now. Only subsisting on baby food and whatever mush we could get you to eat whilst we slowly weaned you off breast milk. How about you come down to…” “I’m not leaving.” I snapped back at him, without meaning to. “How about I bring you something then? I think there’s some pasta left in the dining hall.” “Left? Wait, what time is it?” “About two in the morning. I can get something warmed up for you if you want?” My tummy rumbled and I realised just how hungry I really was. “...Please.” “Okay then, I’ll go get that for you. Just… try to get some sleep after it, okay? You can sleep with Charlie if you want, but you need to sleep.” He said, giving me that stern ‘adult’ voice he likes to pull whenever he tries to get me to do things I don’t want to. “Fine.” Malcolm smiled at me and turned to leave. “Mal?” I called out, stopping him in his tracks. “Yeah, Liv?” “Thanks. For saving me. For saving her.” “Anytime hun.” “How did you even know what was up?” “I… hate to say it, but we didn’t. So we all feel pretty bad right now. Sorry for being a shitty friend.” “You’re not a shitty friend. But wait, if you didn’t know something was up, how did you find out? Social media? I assume it’s pretty bad for me right now on there?” “It’s… look, we’ll discuss that tomorrow, but no, it wasn’t social media that tipped us off.” “What was it then?” I asked, feeling more confused than ever. “You’re never going to believe this… but it… it was Madison.” ======================================================= I knew people would be anxious and hate this arc, so I kept it short :3 Because despite my very mean cliffhangers... 23. Chapter 26: Gumdrop Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess As I listened to people talking in the hallway, at the front door, I sat in my playpen in the living room, happily playing with my toys. They were talking a lot out there, which was weird if they were here to see me, as I’m in here! But then Mummy said it was probably all our new fun stuff that is arriving, as well as my playdate! So why isn’t she just letting them in? I squirmed about on the floor, my padded butt squishing as it moved back and forth. I couldn’t remember going, but I was definitely wet now, as it felt soooo good. Which made it hard to focus on the adults talking out there. I think I heard Mummy say ‘She’s at work’, or somefing. Then a bit of arguing back and forth. I don’t like arguments. People shouting makes me upset, and the more they argued, the more I wanted to cry. This continued for a while, before it all became a bit too much for me and I burst out in tears, wailing loudly. “LIV?” I heard a very loud voice ring out, followed by a lot of banging and heavy footsteps. It sounded like… fighting? I couldn’t tell as I was still entirely focused on my crying right now, I was too overloaded and everything was wrong and I just wanted my Mummy! “LIV! Thank god…” A darker skinned man walked in, followed by a couple of other grown ups. The man had his hair pinned up like Mummy does to me sometimes, an he looked very strong! The woman next to him had really red hair and she looked like she could have been an actress; she was so beautiful! And then the third one looked older, but she was like one of those mean Doctors who give you the jabs and stuff, though her face looked kind… she was probably one of the good ones who gives a lollipop afterwards. “Olivia?” The Doctor-lady bent down by the side of the playpen and looked directly at me. I nodded at them. “Well she’s more with it than Amber was… is. I think her nanites lessened the effects on her brain.” She said to the other two. “So does that mean her safeword will…?” Said the redhead. “Let’s see, shall we? Olivia? Gumdrop.” “Gumdrops? I wan gumdrops!” I replied, clapping my hands excitedly. I love sweeties! Wait… when did my words make sense? “Shit.” The strong man said. Mummy says that’s a bad word though! “Maybe it takes time?” The beautiful woman suggested. “Maybe. We need to get her to my hospital.” Doctor-lady said. “What about Charlie?” “What I gave her was enough to knock out even Malcolm. She’ll wake up with a headache, but she should be fine.” “No Doc… I mean what should we do with her?” “Oh… bring her with us, obviously. We have some Amazon-sized rooms available. We need to find out what happened to her and see if we can’t fix whatever it is.” “Dibs on Olivia…” The redhead said, laughing at the guy. “No, I’ll take Olivia. You two grab Charlie.” Doctor-Lady replied, standing up and bending over with her hands out. “I… umm… where’s Mummy?” I asked, feeling scared by these strangers intruding into my home, especially without Mummy here. “She’s feeling really sleepy right now, little Princess. She told us to take you to my building.” She replied, picking me up with no effort and holding me close to her just like Mummy does. “What about Mummy? I don’t wanna be away from her…” “She’s coming with us, don’t worry. You can stay with her the whole time!” “I can? Do I still get sweeties?” “You do!” The Doctor-Lady smiled at me as she carried me out of the living room, quickly covering my eyes for some reason as we got close to the front door. “Malcolm is going to get you some whilst I give you a checkup.” “Do I get a lollipop afterwards?” “Someone loves her sweeties, doesn’t she? Okay. You get gumdrops for being a good girl, then a lollipop for the checkup. Deal?” “Deal!” I replied, giggling, as the Doctor-Lady uncovered my eyes to see Mummy sleeping in the big man’s arms. “Mummy sleepy!” “Yes she is. Don’t worry, she’ll be well rested once your checkup is complete.” The man said, smiling at me. Something about his face made me feel like I could trust him, so I let the nice Doctor-lady take me in the car to wherever they were taking us. I just hope they have clean nappies there, as I feel like I may leak soon… “So Charlie is in room 49. Olivia is going to be with her, otherwise she may become agitated and lash out. Can you set up a playpen and a little’s bed while I get in touch with a colleague?” The Doctor-lady said to another Doctor. Though this other Doctor was… a lot smaller. “Can do. I can’t believe I didn’t cotton on to something being up. I tried texting for our missed appointments… even tried calling. But I figured she would be busy with her job…” The small Doctor said. I swear that small Doctor should be in nappies like me, she looks jus like a baby! “Ellie, it’s okay. None of us saw the signs. Something happened to Charlie and she kept us all in the dark about what was going on.” “Think we can fix them both? You said their special nanites aren’t even working as intended.” Ellie asked. “I’m going to get a blood test done on both of them, I also want a full body scan and an MRI.” “I can arrange all that. You said you needed to get in touch with a colleague? Will they be able to help?” “I hope so. It’s just if I can manage to get in touch with them…” A lot of time passed before I saw the Doctor-Lady again. She gave me a quick checkup, then placed me in a playpen in Mummy’s room, the one where she was sleeping at the moment, and after giving me my sweeties and lollipop… She left. Then over the course of the evening, a bunch of people came in to see Mummy and me. The big strong man came in a few times, I think he was outside most of the time watching over us, like a knight protecting the Princess and Queen. The redhead came in a few times, trying to talk to me, insisting that I was some kind of grown up like dem? But most of what she said sounded like nonsense, so I focused mostly on my toys. The baby Doctor, Ellie, came in a couple of times, buh she looked terrified every time she looked at me. I dun think she likes me. A couple of nurses came in at some point too and took Mummy and me to some big machines that we were placed in one at a time. They also took some blood from the two of us, before bringing us back to our room. A couple of other babies dressed like grown ups came in, insisting they were my friends. I’m not one to turn down friends to play with, so I tried my best to encourage them to come play with me… but they didn’t seem like they were in the playful mood. Then as my tummy started rumbling and the cravings for milk started to kick in, the Doctor walked back in, along with the redhead, the strong man and the baby Doctor. “So… good news is that it isn’t a pathogen. There are also no signs of any nanites in either system, outside of their unique ones. There was nothing in their blood work, so Charlie must not have been exposed to anything biological.” “That was even a possibility?” The redhead asked, looking really worried all of a sudden. “I thought that maybe she had been exposed to something that may have sent her maternal cravings off the charts. It’s a theory I’ve been considering, regarding why so many Amazon women are so baby-crazy. I thought that maybe whoever attacked Charlie, must have sent her cravings off the charts somehow.” “So you’re saying this is an attack? Someone did this to her?” “Mummy was… attacked?” I asked from the playpen as they all turned around and realised they hadn’t been as quiet as they had intended to be. “No sweetie… someone mean did something to her but we’re going to fix it.” The Doctor-lady replied, instantly making me feel more at ease. I didn’t want anything bad to happen to Mummy, and now they can fix her… “So what is it that caused this huge personality change?” The Doctor-lady was about to answer, when the door opened. “Hypnosis.” A new voice came from the doorway. Everyone turned to see another baby-sized person in the doorway. Whoever this was, everyone seemed excited to see as they all rushed over, giving them hugs and saying how good it was to see them. I couldn’t see who it was from here, the grown ups were blocking my view, but eventually the baby-sized person walked through the small group and stopped at the edge of the playpen, before looking down at me with disappointment. She… she looked just like me! “Hey sis. Been a little while.” She whispered down to me. “Don’t worry, I’ll get you back.” “How can an Amazon be…?” The man in the background said, before being cut off. “LIBRA.” The redhead answered, as if she had some big revelation. “Oh shit, yeah… they had the tech. That’s how Madison was…” “We must have a mole somewhere. Leaked the design of our device. Then one of Liv’s political rivals must have used it against her.” “Then Charlie used the brute force hypnosis to get past Liv’s nanite protection.” “I did a bit of research into this brute force hypnosis your people created. Nasty piece of work. No wonder my nanites couldn’t fix it straight away.” The little in front of me said. “As for Charlie… I’ll need a bit of time. I have no idea how hypnosis affects an Amazon’s brain.” “So you can fix them both?” The Doctor-lady asked, sounding hopeful. “Regarding Charlie… I’ll try my best. Liv just needs a new patch, thankfully. I assume before you said the safeword, she couldn’t speak?” The little asked, the one who said she was my sister. “I… umm… we didn’t notice. She was speaking to us… oh! But that was after we had used the safeword.” Doctor-lady replied. “Yeah, I checked the logs, they had attempted to repair the damage done, but could only fix so much. It may take a bit of time, a few days at least, but I think I could create a patch for them that will repair all the damage done to her.” “So she’s stuck…?” “As a regressed little for a while? Sadly… yes.” My sister sighed. “Well in the meantime, I’ll try to wean her off milk, as the blood work suggested that Charlie had stopped taking the pills a while ago, and that Liv had traces of the hormone in her system.” “Eve? Do you still have that system set up for me?” The little asked her. “The research one? Yeah. I’ll show you. Malcolm, can you keep an eye out outside, make sure no one else sees her like this? Claire, can you…?” “Already too late about her being recognised. Word is she’s spreading like wildfire on social media. Your girls are trying to do damage control, turning the public’s target on her attacker, whoever that may be.” Claire replied. “What about LIBRA?” Malcolm asked. “They are aware of it, and are trying to do something, but I’ve been here with you lot, so I’ve only had brief updates from them. Either way… I wouldn’t trust them right now, considering we most likely have a mole. So let the girls work on damage control. Malcolm, can you help me take care of Liv? She can be a bit of a handful, if I remember correctly.” “I… sure. Never thought Liv would end up like this again.” “I did. Your world sucks.” My sister replied, rolling her eyes. “‘Kay, everyone has their jobs. I’ll show Faith up to the research room, Malcolm and Claire look after Olivia. Ellie, can you go help my girls with protecting Olivia’s reputation?” Ellie, the baby Doctor, nodded and walked off first, followed by the Doctor Eve and Faith. Malcolm and Claire remained and waited for the door to close, before sighing. ======================================================= See? I'm not that bad! Also yay, Faith! 24. Why are you so mean? Everyone else just threatens to spank me, you look up cement companies Oh you think this is bad? The cliffhangers in this one are SO bad. Awww Yeah, this may mess with her baby side a bit. But don't worry, I don't like making my readers anxious for too long.
  25. Chapter 25: Brute Force Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess I sat there, my whole body trembling with fear, as I watched Charlie place the disc into the player. If this worked… I’d… I’d be acting just like how I acted with Madison all that time ago. My adult self would be locked away within me as I filled my nappies, giggling and clapping. And there was nothing I could do to stop it. Whatever was going on with Charlie would prevent her from using our safeword, the one that activates the nanites and reverts any changes made, creating an immunity afterwards. Ever since we learned of the immunity, we started exposing me to various hypnosis, then instantly safewording to revert me back and create an immunity. I mean how else could I stand up on stage in front of hundreds, sometimes thousands of people, and give a speech, if I was at risk of some arsehole coming up and showing me a screen and turning me into a drooling, pants-wetting baby? The reason I got up every time was because I had the safety net of my nanites. But this… this was a new form of hypnosis, and we have no idea whether it’ll need immunising against, or if it’ll even work at all. I guess I am about to find out… Charlie grabbed the remote, grabbed me out of the playpen I had been put in, and walked back over to the sofa, placing me down on her lap and snuggling me. If this wasn’t one of my worst nightmares, this cosy time with her would have been perfect. But not when I’m about to have my mind wiped. I mean… would the safeword even work, if someone does manage to come rescue me? “Comfy, baby?” Charlie asked in that sweet, maternal way. I grunted at her to show my lack of approval. It was all I could do with this dummy still in my mouth. She really didn’t want me talking, so the dummy stayed in most of the day, only coming out for feeding times. I guess she’s waiting for me to be regressed so she doesn’t have to deal with a brat. “Need to go poopy, already?” I pouted and crossed my arms. “Such a silly baby!” She said, squeezing me tighter and lifting the remote control. ‘Here we go…’ I thought to myself, before my mind drifted off, to something I wasn’t expecting to think about as a last minute thought before my mind was wiped. ‘I wonder if Madison really did go through what I’m about to. I hope so… to have her mind wiped, changed… changed… wait… she was hypnotised… or was supposed to. LIBRA has the tech to… Someone must have gotten to… when she was out… a mole… must have saved Madison… I…’ That’s when I had my epiphany. About three seconds before the colourful characters on the screen distracted me. And there went my epiphany. Flushed into the back of my nappy. What was I thinking about? I can’t remember. All I remember is being snuggled up with Mummy, watching this fun show with those silly animal people! It’s a lot of fun, and they are soooo silly! Mummy is silly like that. She likes to blow raspberries on my tummy and do silly voices and noises and stuff when she reads bedtime stories to me! I love my Mummy. She’s all I need. I think I may have had big girl thoughts at one point. But I don’t need them. Not like I need Mummy. “You okay, babygirl?” Mummy said, lowering her head and kissing me on the head. I nodded and smiled behind my huuuuuuuuuge dummy, clapping my mittened hands together and wiggling in her lap. Mummy freed one arm and used it to take my dummy out of my mouth. “How are you feeling, sweetpea?” “Blabahabbabhhaba!” I replied, excitedly. “D’awww, there she is! There’s my little one!” See, Mummy understands me! Why would I need silly big girl words when I only need Mummy to understand me. “Who’s my precious little angel?” Mummy asked in that silly voice she only does for me, before lifting my dress up and tickling my tummy slightly, making me squeal and kick my ickle legs. “Baahhabbaa!” I responded, as I giggled away, feeling loved and cared for. “That’s so much better. Now we don’t need this silly dummy as much. We can use a normal one, now we’re not worrying about a silly so-called ‘big girl’ making a fuss.” “Bahhabbbbbabababbbbaba!” I clapped my hands as Mummy pulled her hand away and wrapped her arm around me again. “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you never grow up, my sweet little angel. Though hopefully… that program will have ensured that never happens anyway.” Mummy put on a fun movie for us to watch, one about a Mummy and her bratty baby girl, at least she was before her Mummy tamed her. Much like me! …I think. I’m not sure, everything is a bit hazy. I didn’t really care that much for the movie though, I was mostly just happy being in Mummy’s arms, resting my head on her chest. A bunch of time passed and I nearly fell asleep snuggled up to Mummy, so she said it must be nap time. Which made me super sad, as I didn’t wanna nap! I wanted to stay with Mummy! Thankfully, she knew just what I needed, and took her top off, lowering her nursing bra, and quickly nursed me as I lay in her arms. The warm milk, mixed with the gentle humming and the warmth of Mummy’s body… together helped make me even sleepier. As the warm milk flowed into my tummy, the taste sent tingles down my body… I could feel my limbs get heavier and heavier, until I was unable to move. The heavy sensation reached my eyelids as they struggled to stay open. So whilst I looked up at my beautiful Mama… a warmth in my heart reminded me that… that I was better off this way. With Mama. I awoke in my crib, surrounded by all my favouritest stuffies. But no Mama. So after crying to get her attention, I was ecstatic to see her walk into the nursery. What I wasn’t happy about though… was my early bedtime. “Babhahbaha?” I asked, trying to wonder why I had to go back to sleep so soon after waking up. “You were asleep for a long time, it’s already evening, sweetpea. And newborns need lots and lots of sleep.” ‘Newborn? Is… is dat me?’ I thought to myself as Mummy lowered the crib railing and climbed in, resting her back against the other crib wall. “So I’m going to nurse you again, then put you back to sleep. Got to train little newborns like you to sleep lots. So we’re starting tonight.” Mama announced. Normally, I would have cried a bit and tried to argue against such an early bedtime, but Mama knows best. And if she says I’mma newborn an I gotsta sleep lots… that must be it, right? So I smiled up at her as she picked me up and laid me in her arms once again. I mean… I was going to get nursed again, so it can’t be all bad, right? I love nursing from Mama. Mama proceeded to nurse me as I felt sleepy once again, thoughts about being a good girl and obeying circled my mind, all using voices from that show I was watching earlier. And once my tummy was full and I was feeling blissful once again, I drifted off back to sleep, as if someone had flicked a switch off. “Morning Princess!” Mama announced as she walked into the nursery and pulled the curtains open, letting the sunlight invade my sleepy space. I tried to roll over and get back to sleep, but found my body wasn’t very responsive right now, and the sunlight was still blinding me. So I did what came naturally to me… I started crying. “Aww, Princess… I’m sorry. But you need to get up. We’ve got deliveries coming in a couple of hours and I need you fed, dressed and ready. We’ve got a lot of fun and you’ve got a surprise coming. Or should I say… surprise person!” “Bahahbba?” I replied, my crying stopping at the excitement that I was getting a surprise. I love surprises! “When Marianne comes to deliver the things I ordered yesterday, she’s bringing her little one with her. So you’re going to have a little playdate!” Mummy said, sounding super duper excited about it. Which got me feeling super duper excited, as Mummy always knows what is best for me. So it must be good. I don’t remember Miss Marianne’s little one. I remember a boy… he was a bit taller than me… but that’s all I remember. Something about a Nanny or a toy or something? A ball pit? Problem was, every time I remembered a slight memory of this boy, my head hurt. And the more I remembered, the more my head hurt. So after a few stabbing pains in my head, I just stopped trying to think. I mean… who cares, right? I get a playmate to play with! He can help me play with some of the toys that are a bit too big for me. Mummy got me dressed in a cute pair of shortalls and a pink T-shirt that said ‘Mummy’s little Princess’. Because that’s me! I’m Mummy’s little Princess! Which makes Mummy the Queen! Rightfully so too. Cus she’s extra special and amazing and lovely and perfect and I wuv her. That was after a very icky change, as apparently the milk had ‘worked wonders’... whatever dat meant. Then my Queen Mummy carried me down the stairs to the kitchen, where my throne awaited, the one with the tray and the locking straps. I really enjoyed feeding time with Mummy, she made all the plane and train noises when she brought the spoon full of yummy mushy food up to my mouth, which made me giggle a lot! I swear she even missed a few times on purpose, just to make me giggle. And whilst the brown mush looked yucky, it tasted super good! And Mama said because I was such a good girl eating all my food, I got a bottle full of Mummy’s milk as a reward! Though I suspect I was gonna get that either way… cus I’m a Princess. “Right, let's get you set up in front of the TV for when Marianne and Stephen turn up. We can test a few of the surprises I’ve gotten on the two of you. Oh it’s going to be so much fun!” Using a wipe to clean up my mucky face, and calling me a mucky pup in the process, Mama then took my bib off and threw it in the big swirly machine, before unbuckling me from the highchair and lifting me up into the air and bringing me close to her chest. Whilst I enjoyed the silliness and fun of being thrown up into the air, my tummy did not, as it started making funny noises. “Baubashdbabbbbb!” I cried out to Mummy. “What’s up, baby?” Looking up at her beautiful face with wonder, I smiled and reached up, planting a kiss on her cheek and falling back into her arms, happy that I had gotten to do that. “D’aww… my precious baby. I love you too!” Butterflies fluttered around my tummy as I snuggled my face into her shoulder. This… this was the best feeling ever. “Right, little munchkin, let’s get you in your playpen. Mummy has a lot more work to do to edit her book. I can’t believe I was even writing that rubbish in the first place. This new idea is much better. I’m glad my new publishers saw my potential.” “Blhababmmsba!” I babbled as I suckled on my fist, all whilst being carried into the living room and being placed into the playpen. And so I got to work building my tower… or at least I would have… if my arms and legs would behave. Problem is… they weren’t responding very well. It was like dis morning, when I could barely move. It feels as if all the strength in them has been sapped away. Which is very silly, but I guess I don’t really have any need for it. Mama does everything for me anyway and these blocks are a bit too big for me. Instead, I’ll play with the silly phone and stuff. Oh and the one that spins and makes animal noises! I like it when it goes moo! So whilst I played happily in the playpen, Mama got to work with her computery thingy on her lap and put some cartoons on the TV for me, which distracted me a lot. After another of the episodes finished, and after I had exhausted the fun of the animal noise machine, a ringing noise came from the doorway. “Oh, that’ll be the delivery and your playdate!” Mama said, putting her computer to the side and getting up off the sofa, walking off towards the hallway. I was super excited about having someone to play with. Maybe he can lift the blocks for me instead! That’s when I heard a familiar voice. One I swear I had heard before. Problem was… I couldn’t remember whose voice it was. Or whether it was a good voice… or a bad one… “Hi Charlotte. I’m here to see Olivia.” ======================================================= *sets up a deck chair and grabs some popcorn and waits for the yelling* If you haven't seen, I'm now up and running on Subscribestar!
