It is suspected carcinogenic, because when the talc particles travel all the way to the overies, they could cause cancer, probably through a bacterial infection though they were not clear on that. Thus far though, there has not been a study that proves that this occurs.

The only way for the woman in that lawsuit to have developed ovarian cancer from baby powder would be if she used so much so often that particles were able to travel through her vagina, uterus, and fallopian tubes into her ovaries.

I've been hearing that the powder is bad for you for a while. I personally don't use it because I don't like it.

I think it's BS , IT seems like everything we use or eat is bad for you and causes cancer

A good word to learn is "hormesis" -- the general claim that a low enough level of almost anything is good for you, and a high enough level of almost anything is bad.

I have never heard this one about baby powder we have used it for years way back when I was a baby, (still am hehe) and I am going 75, love the feel of it and the smell too.

Still useing it on my daughter, The chances of her getting hit by a car are higher than the Chances of this causing cancer.
