No big plans for today, I made a nice Irish meal (not corned beef and cabbage...not a fan!) and had some friends over last weekend. I did wear my green today and practiced some Irish fiddle tunes when I got home from work, though that happens every day, not just today for St. Paddy's. Later I'll finish off the Guinness cupcakes from the weekend. Link to comment

Which typically uses mutton (old lamb) I can see how corned beef would become a substitute. And of course ironically Irish stew has it's roots in America since the potatoes Link to comment
