Diaper Vampire
I've just returned from my parent's house, and I can't be wearing nappies around them. But now I'm at home, it was one of the first things on my mind. 2 Link to comment
froggy
I agree, sick time is good for diaper wearing. Link to comment
beallucanb
When I had the flu 2 years ago I wanted to wear, but at the time I was so weak I could barely walk. Link to comment
Kins_lover
I must say i was in the hospital last month for a couple of weeks and i actually enjoyed the nurses changing me for the first time ever i was so tired that to have somebody else in charge was just fine with me ! that is a real departure from the norm for me normally my incontinence is my problem and i don't want anyone else involved but this time it was like they would come in and say your wet we need to change you and i would be just like go for it i am just gonna lay here like the vegetable i am!! Bettypooh
had what I think was the flu two consecutive weekends recently It may have been something I ate as well (I havwe a food sensitivity that gives me the exact same symptoms, but htis was worse and lasted longer than that usually does). And even though I've been 24/7 in diapers for some time, they were a special comfort and a safety net too They gave me time to get my aching body to the toilet without worry of not making it in time. Which did happen some :blush:They certainly saved me from having to clean up some major messes when I got better So even of they're not useful if they make you feel better then got for it because with the flu there's not a lot which can make you feel better. BTW, there are some nasty flu strains going around this year, far stronger than the usual ones, and they can kill you so if you're getting really bad with the flu, at least call your doctor for advice. While there's still not a lot they can do to fight a flu it's not worth dying over and there are some things they can do to help with that. Link to comment
maly
I have been having a bad time since November with serious spine probs and have been off work since then as well. And i think that indulging the AB side of me a lot during this time is helping me cope, as for me its as much about comfort as anything else, plus with the continence issues its very convenient to just be wearing full time. Also the constant pain does get me down at times, so on those days i put on my favorite sleeper (the one in my avatar) cuddle up to teddy and have a baby duvet day. Maly Link to comment
2sail2
I just recently started wearing while sick and it was somewhat convienent, but I didn't like feeling wet all the time. Link to comment
stork
I always wear while sick. Just for the convenience factor. When I'm sick I tend to get thirsty and drink a *lot* of fluids. If I don't wear, I find myself having to go to the bathroom every 30 minutes, which gets very old very fast. I can go through 3 molicares with an abri-let maxi booster in a single day. Angela Bauer
Although I am profoundly urinary incontinent, normally I have good bowel control. The exception is when I am sick! Link to comment
heinzdecker55
I agree with Zander... I used to get one really good sickness each winter, so I wrote it off as a flu... well, not last March, but the March before, I ACTUALLY got the flu... For THREE SOLID DAYS I thought I was literally going to DIE. The first night, I nearly called the ambulance out, but I knew they would throw me in Hospital which I could in no way afford. The first two days of the illness I was wrapped in three blankets, sitting directly under the air conditioning vent. I couldn't tell which way was up, let alone walk around. BUT the night that it hit me, I had already been wearing for pleasure, which QUICKLY turned into necessity... I can't tell you how lucky I was to have that one on, SO LUCKY in fact, that I continued to wear throughout the illness, even though I knew my family and friends would be popping in... I was all bundled up on the couch not moving, so how would they even know? So, yes. I wear when I'm sick now, just in case... and to those of my friends and family who came in to check on me... you forgot to check one thing before you left Link to comment
babyleanna75
I wear diapers 24/7 365 days a year and often dread changing my diapers when I am sick, I usually just want to lay in bed. Link to comment
dprby162
I love wearing when I am sick. For some reason, I always seem to feel a little bit better when I do. It's all about comfort. Link to comment
Jennynappy
I would do that to myself if I was sleeping to get better. Link to comment

Forced2wet
I ate something that disagreed with me over the weekend and on Sunday it resulted in terrible diarrhoea (tmi?) I did nt eat for 24 hrs and was really wiped out. On Monday morning, once my stomach was empty, I put on a Tena maxi slip amd plastic pants which allowed me relax in bed for the day and wet without walking to the bathroom. I had a shower in the evening and woke up this morning feeling fully refreshed and back to my normal self. I don't doubt wearing a nappy helped me get back to 100% Link to comment

Jennynappy
I remember when I had a bad cold, my mum would swap my knickers for nappies. Link to comment
BabyBoyCliff
I always diaper up when I'm sick. I may not enjoy it as much but I tend to have my wife tell me that I should wear something. Last year my sister in law got sick and ruined a pair of panties I later got sick and wife threw me a Diaper she doesn't normally do that. Won't even put one on me. lol...sad I know. This year a couple of weeks ago I was sick again, went to bed and wet the bed. Have dealt with bed wetting most of my life only happens now when I drink too much or am sick. Link to comment
babybrian1973
I recently had salmonella poisoning and HAD to wear or ruin my house. cough, sneeze, puke, or blinking made me fill my pants for 10 days straight. gross!!! but my parents (who took me to the hospital) were glad I had my diapers on. we were never really verbal about my need for diapers but they knew about it. but on that day, my dad even asked me if I brought enough of them in case I spent the night. Baby Bonnie
When I'm bed bound with illness I find great comfort in being all snuggled up in a cozy nappy. It also has the bonus of if you have the chills you don't need to leave the warmth of the bedding to make a toilet trip. Link to comment
Baby Brian
Feeling very sick right now. Chills, fever, vertigo, achy joints (everything but the runny nose and cough). Been downing lots of OJ all day and peeing like crazy. Already flooded and leaked a thick cloth when I woke up, plus flooded to capacity two xp a plus diapers- and it's only noon. I cant even imagine if I was trying to get up and go to the bathroom all of the time, diapered when sick is the only way to go for me. Link to comment
Diaper_Lover_HI
Wow Baby Brian hope you get better, I was reading your sickness and that just puts my illness into perspective as well. Link to comment
