square_duck Posted December 14, 2013 Share Posted December 14, 2013 Watched "flags of our fathers" and tried to watch "Letters from Iwo Jima" but my comp didn't want to play it, so i didn't get to see the other half of the story. "flags' was a disturbing look behind the scenes at the "other side' of the war, and what it did to the people involved. Sad really, considering what they had already gone through. Link to comment

-Sudoku- Posted January 20, 2014 Share Posted January 20, 2014 Was curled up on the sofa last weekend with a horrible throat infection, so got through both Dispicable Me 2 and The Wolf of Wall Street. Both cheered me up. Actually, I was nearly sick watching Wolf of Wall Street as I was laughing so hard! I never liked Leonardo DiCaprio as an actor, but he is utterly brilliant in this. The drugged up car scene is pure comic genius! He should do more comedies. Link to comment
