  1. Holy diaper pins! I've been a member here for over 3 years as of the 7th of this month, and it just blew by me like it didn't even matter! Here it is gonna be the 13th of August and I just barely realized that!

I want to thank everyone here at daily diapers for a wonderful three years, and I hope to have many many more. I have learned so much from everyone that I have made friends with, and that I trust, and I have learned a lot about myself and the way I should do things, not worrying about every single nuance, or every single thing someone believes. I'm a stronger individual because of things that I I've learned, and I'm very very grateful for all of the assistance the love the support and the caring and compassion everyone has shown me.I could not do this alone, nor would I, and if there is one place that I would want to be on the Internet that deals with this fetish/kink, daily diapers is the one place I want to be.  @DailyDi and his administrative staff are awesome people, as well as everyone who is here. I could not do this alone, and I am so glad that I consider you all my family. In times of trouble, our times when I feel like I want to throw in the towel, there are good people here to snap me back around, and put me back together the way it should be.

I want to thank everyone for their support, and here is to another bunch more years with you all. This is the one place that I have learned so much about myself, and everything that I can about the lifestyle and the people within it. I've learned that there are many people out there, some of them are poopy heads, while most of them are real sweethearts and they care a lot about people as a whole.

There are also times that I look at myself and say Colin look where I was three years ago! Now it seems like I've come full circle, even though it takes awhile to get there, you get there. There are a lot of people that I could place here in this status to thank, but that would just take up too much status, and somebody would be reading it for three days. I thank everyone for being there for me and being an awesome friend, for without friends we will not be able to do our best, without support love and devotion, it is hard to give the energy that you need.

To daily diapers I say: I am ready to help you should you need me:and I thank you for being the best damn place around, and the safest too .   @spoonchicken and others on the chat system keep us safe from all of the ridiculousness around us, and, @Elfy well, he makes sure that the place runs 2, and there are a lot of people that I respect here, and I give them the highest thank you that I could possibly do, for without you and good old Mikey, this place would not be the place it is today. May we continue to be the best damn place around, because that's what we strive for. That's what I wanna see, and if I have anything to say about it, that's what we will continue to be. This is my home, and there are a lot of good people here, and well I feel like it is my responsibility to help as many people as I can, and who knew, that I would be over 4700 posts strong at this time. I am proud of that, and I'm also proud of everyone you were who has the gumption to proudly state that they are proud to be who and what they are, and I'm proud of those who are not afraid to stand their ground, in a respectful manner of course, but that's a good thing too.

Again, thank you all! You are all awesome! And I mean that from the bottom of my heart

No problem spoon, and what I said, I meant every single word from the bottom of my heart. You really do know how to take care of things around here, and you do keep all the riffraff out of here, and all of the ridiculousness, you know how to deal with that too.

Hope you have a wonderful day, I just wish that my legs we're in so much pain, being older, really sucks sometimes.

****Big bwother looks through a large amount of loving stuffies and continues to search:  Lil sister Peachi used her magic to make herself small, but he can still find you:  He find a soft stuffie, and He finds you in that soft friend, giving it a HUG ;)

I Then say "Aaaahhhh Haaaaaaa",.......and then I pick you up, and give you a hug:  Shall we see if we can find sister Rachel:  She may need a HUG and some company, because she may have trouble moving around.

Would you like me to give you a change before we go find sister Rachel???*****

      Brian

      ~Brian~

Big Brother Brian loves his stuffies too: maybe I should follow you, and have you perform magic on me, so I can hide in a great big teddy bear or something very very soft, and just let it all go! Part of the reason why stress is so high is because sometimes stress is so ridiculous there is no way to escape and let it out. Being able to regress into little space or being in little mode helps you to do that, and me being a Big Brother while you were in little mode, helps me. Stress is just too much sometimes, and sometimes I have dreams like I want to find a great big palace like in the Peach Kingdom, or someplace where I can swim or just be able to run: getting away from all of the humdrum ridiculous nasty stuff that makes our world yucky sometimes.

Being a little, or being in little mode, or taking care of a little, can put the caregiver in a situation where they feel relaxed and if that happens, then they can help you relax, and then you can help me relax. I thank you for being such a good friend, because in times like these, we are always a family, and we need to look out for one another.

******** takes you into the stuffy closet:  we search around in a lot of places, trying to find the right stuffy to sleep with, or to fall asleep on. I find a very large teddy bear, and he looks so comfortable and soft, so I tell you: OK little one, maybe we should hang out with Mr bear over here, and get some rest: Mr bear is so soft that I put you down in his arms and his fur and you instantly curl up gurgle and giggle, and thank me for doing it. I then curl up next to you because this bear is huge and he has enough room for both of us. Hopefully peaching magic will help me with my back and my headache, and that big old bear well at least I can hug you him and Amy, because we all can be together in the closet. This is similar to what ET found when he was in gertie's closet, hiding from the authorities: if you look at an old ET card game from 1982, there is a card that says Shhhhhhhhh, and one that says danger.

the first card shows ET in a mountain of big stuffies, hiding from everybody else because he's afraid he will get caught and then taken somewhere where he won't be able to get back home. The danger card choose a flashlight pointed out a set of keys, and keys is the name of a character that was trying to find ET: so he was the enemy to him, but we find out that they are just trying to figure out what it is and what makes them tick, but during the movie, the idea is to get ET home, so he has to build his telephone to be able to phone home. He has to be able to do it so he can get his ship back to earth so he can go home. It is one of the cutest movies I've ever seen, and I'll always remember those particular cards, because they are so reminiscent of what you were doing hiding in the stuffy closet. Sometimes I wish that I could go to a stuffy closet and get lost in, and play in it all day long, being as young as I want to be, having someone to take care of both of us sometimes, but me being the Big Brother I would make sure that you were OK, because that is my job. Daddy may be able to build a closet like that, but we'd have to fill it with some stuffies, and that would be hard. I remember there was one teddy bear that I had when I was 14. He was so comfortable and so soft that I would fall asleep with my head in his chest. I won him because I was selling magazine subscriptions to be able to go on my 8th grade class trip. Because I had hit the mark with my class, we got some of the big prizes. That was the softest bear I think I've ever seen, and the only bear that I think that's even bigger than that or possibly softer is the one that is in apples nursery: she calls him Mr bear, and he is great big huge and he looks lovable and cuddly able.

I hope you had a great day today: I know I've been having problems with a headache in my stomach because something is not settling in my stomach, and it takes a little bit extra to make sure that I'm not getting sick. I hope to be over it quite quickly, and maybe if I go outside tomorrow, I will feel better period part of this is asthmatic, and if I breathe the wrong air, something gets into my lungs and sets off my coughing reflex or my gag reflex. If that happens, it is hard for me not to cough until I throw up all over the floor. I'm lucky that that doesn't happen too often, but it is a pain in the **** when it happens

hope you are a good girl today: I hope you had fun today: even though I'm writing statuses it does make me feel better because we are interacting, and playing like kids would play. I remember playing hide and seek a few times myself, and it was kind of fun. We would go play hide and seek in one of the big buildings that was housing the pediatric unit where are rehab center was in Rutland Vt. We ended up going out to the playground once, and we found a section of the building that was so old, it reminded me of my grandmother Baker's front hallway, or we would go to that end of the building and just hang out so we didn't have to worry about anything else for a few hours. When you were a kid and you were disabled in the 70s, they always would send you to some sort of rehab facility if you needed the help, but the day was basically spent being told what to do, how to do it, when to do it, and why we have to do it. These idiots would also threaten people and scare people by finding exactly what they are afraid of, and using it against them!

yes Peachi, these guys were poopy heads: they use their power to instill fear and uncertainty in the lives of little kids, sometimes as little as two years old, and that is not a time to be scaring little kids. I'm kind of glad that I finally was able to leave there after 14 weeks, but while I was there I did meet some awesome people, and had some fun, even if I had to get away from the unit where all the ridiculousness happened. These people were ridiculous, and in the 70s, the times were different, and as long as you we're at the center, the adults had full control over you, and basically you had to do what they said, or your parents were called and you were given an ultimatum. Luckily for me, when all this stuff happened to me, my father was called on my request and I told my dad exactly what was going on and how these guys were mistreating me. When my daddy got done with them, they were kissing the ground, because my dad only wanted to know why I was unable or unwilling to do what they asked. I told my dad that they were frightening me, scaring me, yelling at me, and just being ridiculous.

Those type of things happened when I was six years old: and I can guarantee you that you don't wanna go through the type of hell like that at six. When you're ages 0 to like 10, you're supposed to be a kid, and you're supposed to be able to handle being a kid, and you're supposed to be able to get away with some things. These guys were so ridiculous, that it was like a major trauma, you know how like @Kawaharu and you were telling me that you are afraid of the potty monster? These guys were worse than the party monster: and they did some things that were not very nice, and I still have dreams of crazy stuff like this even at 50 years old, but it's not as bad, because I have a lot more life that I spent from 10 up to 50, and I was able to pack my life with enough experiences so that those type of experiences don't bother me too much: but sometimes they end up hitting me directly in the head and it's like waking up in a nightmare. Being an adult baby or being an adult kid or being incontinent or a diaper lover, this type of activity helps me to be able to put that into a sense of something that I can manage. When you're little, you should not be traumatized to the level that I was traumatized, but because of the laws they were able to get away with everything. When the laws changed in the 90s, people were really on top of it, so very few of these things happened, and when they did people were held accountable.

As I said I'm glad that you have the Peach Kingdom, and I'm glad that we have daddy, and we have @Rachael-Little

  5. Yesterday, I got my last COVID shot, and today, I feel like something ran over me, because I am hurting, weak, and headachey, and will most likely feel that way for a couple of days.  I will be drinking water a lot, and be eating cans of Fruit cocktail, as I don't really feel that great.

However, Now that I have the Second Shot, I have to ride out the next week or two, and I will be OK to travel :)

    Take Care,

    Brian

      ~Brian~

@Evelyn Dellcerro Thank You for your Support and kind words!  Today, seem to feel better:  Now, all I have to do is ride out the next week, and by my birthday, I should be able to travel out of state, provided the Governor decides to lift some of these restrictions:  I can travel to New Hampshire when James says "Let's Go," and will do that when it is deemed "OK" to do so.  (They say 2 weeks AFTER the second shot, you can travel interstate safely, and I guess that also depends on VARIANTS of C-19, and how we can deal with those, as there are STILL people who could get it, and STILL some that won't take the shot, because they are "afraid of governmental actions and other conspiracies.")  Stepmom #2 and Mike still refuse to take the shot, so we shall see what happens.  Hopefully you are all doing well **HUGS & KISSES***

As far as my condition:  I am still stiff, a little stronger this morning, ate TWICE yesterday, and had some water, but I didn't feel like doing much at all:  As I type this, I feel better:  I just wish that I could make sure my legs don't give OUT on me:  It is quite EMBARRASSING to have a call from family, asking for help, and I am the ONLY one who can do it, and my legs and KNEES decide "NOPE, and that is THAT!"  With help from PT's Brian and Judy, I AM gonna TRY to get back mobility I have lost:  I don't know how that will go, but I learned I am approaching 211 pounds, so I have to do something:  This is RIDICULOUS!  My stander will get the call for use soon:  I can't let myself go like this, but the pandemic doesn't help either :(

@BabySpiderBoy It will probably tire you out on #2, make you ache a little, maybe low fever, but I am doing better today than I was Friday night or yesterday, so we shall see what happens:  Called and talked to my Dad the other day, and they seem to be doing OK, have had both shots, and like them, I am GLAD to have them both:  The trick to this is:  Keep SAFE, be SMART, and know when you don't feell well, and STAY home when sick:  Maybe this covid thing will have some positives:  for example:  When the Doctor wants me to be seen, unless he calls me to his office, I can schedule a ZOOM call with him, and I don't have to leave home, waste 2 HOURS and 45 minutes for a 45 minutes appointment - that is a good reason to have zoom ;)

Doing well: still tired and a lil warm, but feeling better :)

      Brian

      Transfusionelle

Yay Brians doing better !!  Kisses and hugs from the better half lol. We said you are too strong.

    4. ~Brian~

      ~Brian~

@Transfusionelle Yes, I am, and I appreciate the loving kind words and support, as I power through another situation.  Today, I go to PT for my neck, and then on May 3rd, I go again, and then the 4th-8th, I will have my friend from NH here with me, and he will be visiting family, friends and aquaintences  for 4 days.  Then, I have an MRI on my neck for inspection of the c6/c7 section, where there appears to be a pinched nerve, which is causing the problem with the left arm situation:  If I am lucky, they can put an epidural injection in my neck where they think it will help, and the disc and the nerve will calm down and behave

As I said to @Evelyn Dellcerro You all are "New York TOUGH", and I am "Vermont STRONG!" I will NOT allow a recent crisis to bring me down, it may scare me/frighten me/motivate me, but it WILL NOT get me down - I admit to being nervous, as messing with necks, backs, etc, can be a pain, but I need to do something, so I lose as little mobility as possible - having a pinched nerve feels like having a stripped wire on a lamp cord - You have to deal with the disc that is pinching off the nerve, or it will get worse:  In 2015, we did that procedure, and it worked, however, this time, it will be at Central Vermont Medical Center, which is 8 minutes away: instead of me having to travel for over 2 hours total with someone driving:  That way, I wake up in  Recovery, wait a while, go downstairs, and BANG:  GMT Bus HOME!!!

Thank You for all of the HUGS and Kisses:  They help me focus and think of things that "center" me:  We are indeed a "Family" in more ways than one, and You and Eve and Jr have been awesome, and I can't thank you enough for all the support:  sometimes, it feels like I am alone out here, but I know that is NOT true:  As my Dad told me when he made the decision for his trachea:  "I'm NOT DONE YET", and I am gonna TRY REALLY hard to make the changes I need to get better: I have Good REASONS for that, nieces, nephews, family, friends, and dreams that I CAN achive with the right supports :)

      @square_duck@AbabeBill@DiaperboyEddie12@Evelyn Dellcerro

I want to thank EVERYONE who responded to this status, and tell you that I had a Good Day on my Birthday:  Saw my stepdad, Talked to Mom on Phone, saw Dad and my Stepmom, and was able to spend time during the past week with a couple GOOD Friends:  I was wicked tired though, and I don't know if the weather and the rain had something to do with that, but it may be the reason I felt kinda "blah"

This week, I have a couple appontments:  One with my HH CM, and the other with my Orthopedist, as they wanna see an updated MRI, and even today, I cant FEEL my fingers on my left hand, so it kinda sucks:  Had fun last week, but was really tired friday, but I worked through that: talked to my brother James too, so that helps a lot, but I am glad that I have a "Online Family" like all of you:  makes a hell of a difference.

Thank You for all the support and Birthday wishes:  It is APPRECIATED :)

      Riddle me this ladies:

if you were all in a room together, and you were all talking, and then somebody turned on laughing gas in the room, what would we have?

Answer: a gaggle of giggling girls ha ha ha ha ha ha

      *****HUGS&KISSES*****

      Brian

I take one of my large cookies that I had for lunch today: I have two of them: I break each cookie into four small pieces and give each of you two pieces of the cookie. I take a piece too, and we eat chocolate chip cookies: these cookies are good, and I wish I could do this for real because they are awesome.

  10. THREE WORDS:  “I Am C O L D!!!!!”

@Evelyn Dellcerro @Ginger Do you have a warm blanket?  Went to ExpressCare not feeling well, and their Covid protocol was that anyone who goes in, has to call them, check in, give them your phone number, and then wait in your car. While I understand that Covid is important to deal with, I called EXPRESS CARE this morning and told them specifically that I was disabled, in a wheelchair, and coming down on public transportation, and that I would want to probably be on the inside.  I was told that they only allow two people in the waiting room at one time, but I was also told that if I told someone at the desk that I needed to be inside, that they would accommodate me, when I tell them that I am disabled.

so basically, I was told that I couldn’t wait inside the vestibule, because there were sick people, which I understand, but then she wanted me to go back outside the rest of you and wait until the nurse came out to get me, and I don’t want to sit in the cold. Now, after talking to my primary care physician, I told his office that I was very sympathetic and understanding of the Covid protocol, but that I am not going down to ExpressCare again if I have to stand outside or sit outside with the weather at 42° and windy, or worse.

once they realize that I I was disabled, or I was in a wheelchair, somebody must’ve decided to bring me in. I was able to sit in the waiting room for over an hour and a half, and I don’t really mind doing that, but as I said, Covid not with standing, I hope I was able to get a crossed that some people cannot be sitting outside in the cold because they don’t have The ability to drive or get into a vehicle. My “vehicle is a public bus”, so hopefully they understand, and I think they do – I just wish I wasn’t having to sit outside for so long.

so they ended up telling me that “we think you have a virus“, and they wanted me to go home and rest. Using my regular medication regimen, which was fine,  dr. wanted me to be evaluated and tested for COVID-19, and I was, so I was advised not to go to work for the next few days until I get my Covid results back, and I was actually told that I should not ride public transportation until that was done, but I told the PA that I needed to ride public transportation, because I don’t have a car, and told her that I thought it was a bad idea for me to have to go back outside and stand in the cold. Luckily the lady that picked me up was the same one to drop me off, and was able to get there within 15 minutes, and then I was able to roll to the vehicle and get on board.

each practice has its own rules:  I can go into orthopedics a rehab services in the same building, and I will be able to sit in the waiting room after I end up having my temperature taken. Even my doctors office has his waiting room closed. I have to see him, I just come up to see him, and then call them, then after a while they bring me upstairs. I go directly to a check-in desk, they checked me in ask questions and then within 10 minutes someone comes out to usher me into an exam room. I never have to sit in the waiting room, and I don’t really have to wait more than maybe 30 minutes at the Max. Each practices rules are different, and the size of the waiting room is different as well, but at least if I went to my doctor instead of EXPRESS CARE I would not have to Be waiting outside.

So basically, I don’t know if my legs are hurting because I am cold, or because I have a spasticity, or what the deal is. I just feel as if I’m cold, I hurt, and all I wanna do is roll up in a nice warm blanket, dry diaper, and just sleep. Anybody want to cover me with a big blanket, and then roll me up so that I’m nice and warm?

  14. Added the Roku Streaming Stick (4K HDR Version) to my TV this week - Was trying to work out all the wires that are connected to my chargers, game systems, and other devices.  Realized I have a backup drive for the xbix one that has been decommissioned for a while. and unplugged it from the power strip I had it in, and then moved the Roku Plug to that, so that I don't have wires getting caught in the recliners works.

Once that was done, cleaned up all the wires that were left, and found that all was well:  Roku is online, connected, and allows me to see my AppleTV, Paramount Plus, Amazon prime, Youtube, and the Roku Channels:  LOVE It so far :)

  16. Good Afternoon:

Because I want some POSITIVE vibes, I scoured Facebook for images with sayings and advice that is good practice, because lately my life sorta SUCKS and I want to see POSITIVE things on my screen, and when I see them, they will help me:  I add these to the "Sage Advice and Sayings Album", owned by me, and when i see something that is positive and reminds me of the fact that you are supposed to be caring and SUPPORTIVE, I'll put it there to remind me :)

I hate negative Vibes:  @PeachiUwUMagic should fix Dat ?

This is why I made the album and posted it like that:  it would be like getting advice from "family members" every day, like @Evelyn Dellcerro or @Transfusionellebecause I can FEEL them around me, TELLING me this, and making sure that they KICK the negative garbage outta me, like @PeachiUwUmagic, when negative vibes release, Black thick, stinky smoke, rises, and leaves me feeling better.

      Its almost like this:

Me: (To Eve): [Insert negative ridiculous bad vibe here]

Eve:  What??  Did I just hear you thinking negatively??  Well, we're BOTH gonna fix this!

Eve:  What did you say??  (I repeat it)

Eve:  What?  (Kicks my butt Once, and asks again if I wanna repeat it). Then, I do it again, and then she helps me release all of that negative emotion, then asks me if I feel better, I say, YEP :)

Then I thank her, and Elle, and HUG and kiss them, and they tell me that they will be watching me ;0

  17. @Evelyn Dellcerro

I hope that you and @Transfusionelle had FUN on your vacation:  I've been dealing with my neck/arm/numbness issue, and I have run into a situation where the City of Montpelier Has to talk to the Railroad:  When I head across the Yellow ADA Pads, I end up at a Railroad Crossing, and because the Railroad did NOT put rubber safety rails in the guides at the locations where I have to cross, at LEAST 3 times I've crossed, and had my front tires "T" Off, and they go all the way up to the axles, and the Axle forks, so I asked the City to call and speak to the Railroad, as ALL railroad crossings in Vermont are considered active, and its a HAZARD for me to be stuck in the middle of the crossing, up to my axles - Maybe one day, Elle will have to pull me out, or maybe my cousin will have to use a towbar to get me out.

Missed you both ***HUGS & KISSES from the "Granite Capital of the World"

    Love,

    Brian

      Evelyn Dellcerro

Love ya Brian, I do come on when I can, still on vacation, but seems like when I go in the chatroom its always dead. 25 people in the room and 2 chatting. That is kind of depressing. Maybe its just the summer months.I'll be in chat, just chilling here on the front stoop having a few beers.

    2. ~Brian~

      ~Brian~

      @Evelyn Dellcerro

Glad to her that you are still on vacation:  I have also noticed that the chat seems to be dead:  It could be the summer months that cause this - I have been feeling better, and have restarted my depression meds after hearing from my Dad/stepmom and brother that they thought it would be a good idea.  I can say that it is a tad boring around here, when I am sitting around, but I hope that we will be able to do something soon - Its CRAZY sometimes.

Had my new AC Unit (8,000 BTU) put in my bedroom last weekend.  Mike had to put it together, and attach the plastic slides:  This took a while, as it was a different unit:  This one has a Remote and is an LG:  I have the EXACT same unit standing by to be placed in the Living Room Window, and Mike will take the 10,000 BTU Unit with him when it is switched for the 8,000 BTU Unit:  I asked for newer units, because the ones I have had NOT been serviced for at least 11 years, and I wanted units with remotes, as it is dangerous for me to have to reach across the window to turn them on/off.

Love you and Elle and JR to pieces:  Take Care **HUGS & Kisses**

      Brian

    3. ~Brian~

      ~Brian~

      Eve:

I have been pretty good, but have been fighting with the City of Montpelier, because the tracks have a GAP in both rails that swallows up my casters and locks me in, making it impossible to get OUT without having to crawl ON the damn tracks:  Take a look at:

and you will see my problem:  Those rails are the same size as my front casters, so they get sucked right down into the slots:  Maybe I should let you and Elle take these DOO DOO heads down a few points, as they tell me that the gap is LEGAL, but meanwhile, I am in PAIN because I have to be crawling on the tracks, and what happens when a TRAIN may come by, and I am on the tracks STUCK - MORONS - WHY can't something go RIGHT for me for a change - I am either so lame I cant MOVE, or I am dealing with STUPIDITY that makes NO sense:  I am gonna see what they will do, and I will also try to request front casters and forks that will go OVER the damn gaps, and will be BIG ENOUGH so that I can ROLL over the gaps.

      sometimes I wish.........Man do I wish.........

Awwwwwwwwww.........***BLUSH***  Thanks a LOT:  Means a LOT to me:  I am faithful to those whom I am friends with:  You are BOTH amazing people, and I know that it can be hard with all this pandemic BS:  Talked to my Dad, my doctor, and my therapist this week: Doc ordered more PT for my errant arm, and talked to him about the Vax:  I will take it, because I want to PROTECT my most elderly family members, and that includes my mom, my stepdad, my Dad, my stepmom, and my nieces and nephews:  My Sister in Law is ***8 WEEKS AWAY***, and I can't WAIT for that:  I feel really good.

My brother Dan served in the Coast Guard, so that means he is "Semper Paratus" (Always Ready) and my cousins and my friends have served in the Marines, so that means that they are "Semper Fidelis" (Always Faithful)  I am Both, as an Honorary Marine, I had a friend who was a Sgt. Major:  He commissioned me as an E-5 (Honorary commission) so I am BOTH "Always Ready" and "Always Faithful" :) One year from that commission date, he "promoted me" to E-6, staff Sergeant, which is the rate my brother holds in the Vermont Air National Guard, under command of Brig. Gen. Greg C. Knight

One day it WILL happen: One Day it WILL happen:  I LOVE you both, in more ways than one, with all my heart ***HUG***

  22. Just like last night or early this morning: another incident where people are talking in the parking lot but they’re really loud using profane language and yelling loud enough so I can hear outside my window. I live in the city and this is a public area where the church and other things around it, but last night we had an idiot lady running up the road and screaming the F word at the highest possible volume. About 20 minutes ago the same thing happened between two gentlemen they were yelling, using profane language, and just making fools out of themselves. I bet you half of the street Could hear that and it’s not really a good idea to be screaming in public, because people will figure out what’s going on, or they’ll think there’s something wrong. Let’s just hope that one day somebody’s F bomb tirades won’t result in someone getting seriously injured or killed. My question why do people do this: I know people get mad but it’s kind of stupid when they go all out and just start running the F bomb and everybody can hear all around you. I almost called the police last night but I did not I hope that we don’t have to do it tonight.

    1. Little Cub Pants

      Little Cub Pants

People are really stupid!?? I don't get it either buddy!?

    2. ~Brian~

      ~Brian~

Me either my friend! I don’t understand why we have people that are doing what they’re doing. I haven’t even seen situations in the last few years where we have either somebody prowling around, someone sitting on a public bench doing drugs next to the library, or something else. I am in a pretty public space, and I love my apartment, I just hope I don’t end up getting hurt because of some dark weed that decides to cause trouble. I haven’t been in trouble with the law in my life, and I don’t want to start now. Some of these people don’t realize that what they are doing is causing a public disturbance, And as such they can be arrested.

I don’t know what people are thinking nowadays, but there are times when I don’t want to hear that type of noise. So I turn on something to block it out. I just hope one day I don’t get shot by some idiot who is aiming a weapon at somebody  and misses, and hit somebody else.

One year and I’m not sure when it was, I had a friend that lived above me. He had down syndrome. He was minding his own business in his apartment, and some jackass used a slingshot and ended up launching a potato through his window. He lives on the second floor, right above me. This is at the time that this occurred. The potato sailed through his window, broken in 1 million pieces, glass shattering all over his bed, and there was a huge mess on the floor after the incident. If that potato Had been a few degrees lower than that would’ve happened to me, as my bed is right next to one of the lower windows. My friend was not hurt and neither was I, but you never know what the hell you will run into around here, and with all the things that have changed over the years I wouldn’t be surprised. However I hope I don’t end up getting hurt because of some stupid argument happens outside my apartment, out of my control. Some people have to learn respect, and to learn how to control themselves.

Hahahaha!!!!! An Potato?!???? Are you kidding me?!? LOL!??? Like I said before, people are so stupid!??

  23. This morning I feel like I have accomplished many things. Had to deal with a FedEx issue, because they apparently were unable to deliver packages to me on Friday and Saturday. They keep on throwing delivery exceptions and returning the package to Williston Vermont, and telling me that they can't deliver it because of it being a secure building. I called the director this morning to find out how the FedEx company can get the code to our lock box, so every driver is aware that there is a lock box on our front door, so there will not be any more excuses for failure to deliver or delivery exceptions.

With that done I had to deal with the internal issue with home health, I dealt with that in about 15 minutes, sent an e-mail to my case manager, and made sure that she had that, then I ended up responding to one of my coworkers and she tells me that they want to do some sort of an interview with me, because I am the executive director of the TMC thrift store, and they have many thrift stores throughout the conference, according to the head of the trustees, now we will shall see on Wednesday what they wanna do, I hope it goes well, because this will give us exposure that can bring people in and more people at that.

As I said today I feel like I have accomplished something, however there are times in the summer that are really miss people that are no longer here especially my grandparents on my dad's side. They always had and awesome time in the summer because they could camp, and enjoy the outdoors. I could also go there, and spend time with them, and every once in a while it pops in my head because it being summer and all the good memories that I have, so I guess I'll just have to keep that in my head and dream of the time that we used to camp and have fun, or go fishing or go swimming. I don't have a place to swim anymore, and that sucks. People tell me that I need to increase my leg strength, but the only way to do that is to use the pool, and because of COVID-19 we are unable to get to the pool and be able to use it as we did pre COVID, so I'll never be able to swim unless I'm able to find out if we're able to use the pool. Sometimes I wish I could go somewhere and just swim for three hours. I will tire myself out and I will use my legs until they hurt. Once I do that for a couple of weeks my legs will end up responding a lot better and I think my legs and my knees will not be buckling, I hate when my knees buckle because I have no control sometimes when I hit objects that caused my knee to buckle under. I do the best I can but it is annoying sometimes.

    Take care!

      ~Brian~

Apparently my packages have arrived! Now I just have to go down there and figure out what is going on, get the order and bring it up here. Once you do that I can shelve up that order which is 90 diapers, and then take the three boxes that I have outside my door and get rid of all of them. I have just been informed by my landlords that the contacts for FedEx have the door codes for the lock boxes, and apparently someone at FedEx has been given the code by our landlords. I've also been informed that our landlords have been disrespected, and also their attitude at FedEx is not very good. Not sure exactly what the heck is going on at Williston base in Vermont, but the next time I hear about somebody disrespecting our staff I'm going to make a phone call and someone is going to pay. FedEx and UPS our delivery companies that need to deliver what it is that we have available. When we order something we expect that FedEx will deliver it, and they usually do, but I don't want to hear any excuses that they can't access the building, or they just feel like they couldn't get in so they don't even try. That shows that they don't want to deliver my packages, or they just don't want to deal with the hassle of having to get into a secure building. Secure buildings are there for a reason, and I'm damn glad that I live in one period sometimes it is more safe to live in a secure building than it is to not live in a secure building. I'm just glad that apparently my packages have arrived, and I will go out there and I will deal with that.

Happy days my packages have arrived: now to put the order away!

  25. HOLY SKUNK STINK!!

I think there is a skunk outside my window, or INSIDE the dumpsters, which are next to my bedroom windows!

The smell of that is being sucked into the AC unit, and it doesn't smell too good!

    Brian

    1. Little Cub Pants

      Little Cub Pants

I really hope you get that taken care of.??

    2. ~Brian~

      ~Brian~

This happens a LOT during the warmer months, and I think the landlord sometimes will leave the dumpster lid open, and with temps anywhere from 60-90 during the day and some nights, being 60+, skunks have been known to get in there.  Last night, I shut the AC down. because I smelled it on the right window of my bedroom.  It CAN happen in winter, but it is not as prominent then.

Does not smell like skunk today, but when my AC pulls in air, it can also pull in odors from outside :)
