  1. I've had zero luck with most tapes -- masking and duct tapes do not work at all. Packing tape doesn't work either. The stuff I get is supposedly real good but in practice NOT. The only tape that seems to work is the "gorilla" brand. Most of the time I can't get the backing off (it's double sided) and just place it over the tabs to make it a replacement tab. Holy hell getting it off though -- once affixed, not going anywhere ever. Good luck.
  2. With a 35" waist, the medium fit really well. For the most part, they work very well. I find that I often exceed their capacity at night and have wet plastic pants; amazingly, the onesie also gets wet on the side but doesn't leak through to the bedding. It's a complete mystery to me how that happens. The Betterdry is my daily driver. I have other brands of diapers, but for some reason keep coming back to the Betterdry by choice. It's almost automatic and is most definitely a conscious decision. Caution: These diapers are habit forming and create dependency.
  3. Long underwear feels weird with a diaper. It is a wonky fit. I've found that snow pants work so much better. Everything is in the right place and they work really well at keeping the legs warm. Much better than the long underwear.
  4. That's just smart. Adapt to the situation. That's how to operate. You're a good boy.
  5. From weather sources and personal trials/tribulations, one inch of rain equates to 6" of snow. 3" of rain is roughly equivalent to 18" of snow. Happy trails to you!!!
  6. Congrats. You will continue to get even wetter as time wanes. Your male bladder sphincter is failing and will continue to spaz and weaken to the point that your toddler underwear will get wetter and wetter without any help from you. That's when you know you've really arrived.
  7. The snow has finally hit northern Michigan too. Temperatures are dropping and snow is accumulating. After all, it is January. We're forecast a foot in the next few days. But, the forecasters are almost always wrong and try to instill panic. We ignore them. We deal with whatever we get including soggy diapers.
  8. Agreed. Basic economics. Always thought NS were overpriced.
  9. It is Better Dry for the majority of the time. But, if usage is up, I'll substitute a Crinklz (it's just Aquanaut because I'm swimming in pee). There's claims that those two diapers are essentially the same and I'd have to agree. I have InControl Hybrid Elite for special occasions. I'm sure there's a Rearz equivalent (but have no idea what it is). The Elite is probably the best diaper I've seen and is el primo. Too expensive for daily use, but if I was wealthy...
  10. Me too. 24/7 with and without diaper. Without is the best. Plastic diapers are good too.
  11. Bingo!!! I'm still pretty sure they've reduced or changed the SAP. I'm not sure if they're thinner, but they are for sure softer. Lately, I've found them to work better when giving them a kind of fluff... whipping it from the top then whipping again from the bottom. That seems to add bulk -- and stretching them from top to bottom as well as side to side. Doing this also frees up the leg guards.
  12. Just use the .CA as if it is in the US. When checking out, select the Canada Post option for shipping. It is very reasonable and takes the same amount of time as if you bought in the USA. Overcoming the Canada/US crossover is really pretty easy and painless.
  13. You protesteth too much. Go forth and masturbateth in and with plastic.
  14. Wha? You mean there's other than white?
  15. Your betrothed sounds very generous and quite tolerant. It sounds she's OK with the paci's too (not to mention onesies and plastics)! You hit the mother load! How'd you get so lucky?
  16. Shipping is actually pretty cheap. For each of my two orders, it was a little over $5 for each order. Not bad at all.
  17. Being IC fuels the obsession. It's a curse and a blessing.
  18. Thanks @Little Sherri -- just what the docctor ordered. They came yesterday and are fabulous!!! Very high quality size 6 Safari print. Two of them, each with its own high quality lanyard. They came in a high quality plastic storage box. Can't stop sucking on it. Very impressed. Signed up on their website too as I took advantage of $10 onesies. Th
  19. Call me a liar. I couldn't help myself. I went back and ordered the Alpaca and Safari bodysuits. Just can't turn it down!!!
  20. Wow!!! They have a lot of stuff there for $10! I bought the Rebel glow-in-the-dark bodysuit. All the others are just too loud. Thanks DailyDi for letting us know!!! You'all should glom onto this as fast as you can.
  21. It's your secret that everyone knows. The only one who doesn't know is you. That's usually the way it works. I just told my girl friend that I wear diapers, but she already figured it out. Luckily, she doesn't care.
  22. Well, I followed your advice and bought two Rearz Size 6 Safari style with lanyard from Amazon. They were $20 which means they were about $8 each which is not a bad deal. If I like it, the next purchase will be a trifecta -- two Elpaka pacifiers, an Elpaka onsie, and a case of the Elpaka diapers. Won't that be cute?
