  1. I've flown several times since becoming incontinent. I use Foley catheters due to severe interstitial cystitis. Though I always have a diaper on over the foley, the legbag is what usually gets me pulled aside for a pat down, I've pretty much been patted down every time I've flown. I always have to explain that I have a catheter in and the leg bag etc. they've always been polite, though. Only once did they search my carry on back pack/ diaper bag. I explained that there was diapers in it since I am incontinent. They opened the bag shuffled through it quickly and zipped it up and gave it back. I keep my diapers in large ziplock bags to keep them from getting beat up.
  2. I'm incontinent and wear full time. The wife put a Foley catheter in me to travel to Christmas Eve since it's hard for me to travel long distances with the interstitial cystitis. I always wear a diaper even when I have the foley in so it can catch the small leaks etc. so I was diapered up for Christmas. Though I'm in them 24/7/365 I'm incontinent and wear full time. 3. I just lay back and enjoy it. Wife is kind enough to do it once or twice a week.
  4. Welcome aboard. I'm in a similar situation where I don't have the option of coming out as a DL. I kept it quiet until I began having bladder issues almost three years ago and had to start wearing protection 24/7. I'm still quiet about it, and certainly don't advertise it, but have told family and a few friends since it's a medical condition now.
  5. Was shopping around the other day. Some of the more expensive brands were cheaper at XP medical and Northshore (Seni, confidry, and Wellness) but the Tena Ultra and Super that I use more regularly were close to $20 cheaper on Amazon. Just beware and shop around a bit before you buy. It wasn't like it was $2-3 it was $18-20 ish......that's a big difference. Make sure you check quantities too. Tena uses a couple different packaging options on their case quantities for these two diapers.
  6. 2483??? Damn!!!! Ouch......must have hurt being that full......that's a medical emergency!!!!
  7. Good for you, be who you want to be. I'm a former DL, now with interstitial cystitis and OAB. I went 24/7 2 years ago when this happened. (Late February 2014) I've been 24/7 ever since. I don't mind wearing diapers, but really don't like being wet in them. I always wore for comfort and fetish and rarely wet them. Now I wet occasionally and don't have control over it. I am a rare diaper wearer that doesn't like being wet. I'd still be wearing occasionally as a DL if I didn't have bladder problems.
  8. I was committed to a psych ward for a long weekend right after my bladder issues became a problem. I arrived there from the ER by ambulance. I had a pullup on when I got there. I told them I had "bladder issues" and that I was wearing a "diaper"
  9. I added a pin. It's a little weird, but it's pretty anonymous.....what's the worst thing that could happen??
  10. Usually I can manage to change myself. Occasionally the wife will do it if I ask her.
  11. When I first revealed myself as a diaper lover to my girlfriend
  12. I've had 4 MRI's done. They did them in two different sessions. Each session was 2+ hours long. On a bad day I'm in the bathroom every 10-15 minutes. I have severe OAB and interstitial cystitis. I had to have a Foley catheter placed to get through them both in comfort. I'm a regular foley user at home due to my conditions. So my wife, who is my nurse inserted the foley before taking me to the hospital for the MRI's
  13. I'm in Southern Maine near the NH border on the coast!!! Married, heterosexual, and newly medically
  14. I'm in Southern Maine as well York/Kittery area
  15. I spent a weekend in a psych hospital and was in a pullup when I got there. I told them I was in a "diaper" they got me a package of prevail pullups, they were awful, but I made do with them until I came very close to leaking. My bladder issues are pretty light so a pullup usually works ok for me. You know it's a cheap pullup when I nearly have a leak. I told the nurse I had had an accident and I needed something more "robust" she went and got me a pile of Kendall Wings HL3D hospital diapers that I wore for the rest of the stay. I had one of those on when my wife came to pick me up. when I had my spinal angiogram surgery, they told me it would be a 3 hour general anesthesia procedure and I'd be catheterized. Since I was already a Foley catheter user at home and we had to travel an hour+ in the car my wife catheterized me at home the day before the surgery as we had to go down there for the pre-op appointment. She told the head nurse that I had a foley in and asked if it was ok to just leave it in for the surgery or of they had to put my foley in for the surgery. They said that the one she had placed would be fine. On the morning of the surgery we were at the hospital super early and I had a diaper on over my foley as I always do. My wife changed me from the leg bag to the bedside bag before I went into surgery, (wife is a nurse and can do all that stuff) she then took my diaper off before I went in. When I awoke, I still had the foley in but was naked. I don't like to be naked with my foley in because it feels like everything is flopping around. I asked the nurse to get me an adult diaper. My diaper bag had been left in the car. The nurse was hot and looked a little bit puzzled and I tried to explain that I always wore one over my catheter, I think my wife explained further, but I was a bit groggy. The nurse went to get me a diaper and asked me "do you want me to help you with that??" I thanked her and explained that my wife would do it for me. I'd love to tell you that the hot nurse put my diaper on, but it just didn't happen that way. I think my wife would have divorced me. They gave me a super crinkly Kendall Wings diaper. She walked me around the unit with just a gown on and my diaper under it and I carried the foley bag. My wife dressed me when it was time to go home and then assisted me into the shower as I insisted on being clean when I got home. Apparently she diapered me again at home before going to bed as I woke up in one of my diapers the next day.
  16. If I'm diapering myself, I usually do it standing up leaning against the bed. Or against the wall in the bathroom. If my wife is diapering me, she lays me down on the bed.
  17. I diaper myself daily in front of my wife. I have interstitial cystitis and severe OAB and am in diapers 24/7 because of the small leaks I have every time I make it to the bathroom. I always make the toilet but have leaks until the next time I make the toilet. she does occasionally diaper me to help me get ready for the day. I really like it when she diapers me, it shows that
  18. Tena Classic, size Large. One of 3 brands of diapers I like. I have bladder issues including some leakage, and am a Foley catheter user. I'm a DL or maybe former DL?? I now wear out of medical necessity.
  19. I use the valves to put on the end of the catheter to go swimming etc. but I don't use the
  20. He told me that I could not work during the trial period. I have a job that is very physical, and often unpredictable. I emailed him to ask some further questions about it as I was instructed to do so and he never bothered to email me back. I took that as a sign that it wasn't a fit for me with a doctor that was going to be unresponsive.
  21. One of my 13 doctors wanted me to get the INTERSTIM. He told me I wouldn't be able to work during the trial period, and it appears as though I'd have to be out of work for 3-6 weeks after the surgery for the permanent one. I can't take 8 weeks off from work as nobody's paying me to sit at home.......OAB Meds did nothing but make me impotent and constipated with cotton mouth.......I'll stick to diapers and the Foley catheters........
  22. Once upon a time I was a DL. I never was into wetting my diapers and never messed myself. I used to just enjoy wearing. I HATE being wet.
