  1. I will admit that back in my bedwetter days I did experience some pleasure. Now days, those feelings only happen occasionally. I have to be in the right headspace. A rare happening. I mostly feel relief
  2. I've already suggested to Mike that it would add more clarity to the IC board to add a bit more focus. To just have IC desires and bedwetting is
  3. I took the time (yawn) to read all the previous posts, mostly out of curiosity. While it does sound interesting, I must admit, even for me it sounds a bit extreme. Always wary of any anal insertion. Since I experience severe bowel urgency anyway, I think this would be overdoing it a bit. I need to take several (3 to 5 large doses of a bulk producing fiber supplement - Metamucil) to keep my BM's solid, I don't think this would enhance the pooping experience for me. I'm always packed full, sometimes uncomfortably bloated. Release is effortless with simple relaxation and not doing anything to hold back. Wow! Just saved myself
  4. I made the original post last winter and now it's the end of May. Holiday weekend and am enjoying a very full diaper. It's not always that I'm in this head space as most often bowel urgency is mostly a huge inconvenience. But it is what it is and when the mood strikes me, I'm all in. The severe urgency I experience is due to a long ago surgery so having to wear diapers went from a sometime thrill to a need. Don't have to wear all the time but enough to qualify as 24/7. I just so happen to find myself in the right headspace
  5. I have had severe urgency since a surgery over 20 years ago. Because of the urgency I always feel it. Sometimes I have up to 5 minutes but since it's usually much less I don't go running off to the bathroom. I use a bulk producing fiber supplement (to keep things solid) and that causes increased frequency and volume. Still much better than loose BM's. The urgency used to be much more painful but I think over the years I've just become more used to it. When I have an uncontrolable
  6. With me it's never on purpose. When the fast developing extremely severe urgency hits I have only minutes before the event. I wear
  7. Favorite part of messing huh? Well after decades of severe bowel urgency, the thrill is mostly gone but I still enjoy one particular aspect of messing. The urgency comes on very quickly and as usual, I try to hold it as I start to panic. The inevidable
  8. Everyone has a favorite diaper, one that is comfortable and
  9. I've found that using a thin, cheap disposable diaper after running a pinwheel over the plastic backing works the best. They don't make an adult size cloth diaper liner. I've looked. Your best bet is to use a thin, cheap disposable diaper under your cloth diaper. It will keep poop off your cloth diaper. Not as comfortable as a real diaper liner but it will work. Makes clean-up much easier and keeps poop off the cloth diaper for easier laundering.
  10. When at home I'll change after a BM when it's convenient, usually within a half hour or sooner. At night I'll wait 'till morning coffee and the AM BM that I know will come soon after the coffee takes effect.I've had the severe bowel urgency for 20 years and you do get used to it. Just takes time. I hate the nightmare of a public change so unless it's particularly disgusting I wait until I'm home and can do a proper change with a shower. I think most bowel ic people have an obsession about being clean and I'm no different. But If I'm out and about and otherwise occupied, having a load (or 2) in my diaper is something I'm quite used to. I use nullo, a zinc oxide based ointment (desitin)and heavy gage plastic pants so I never get rashes, rarely smell and am pretty sure I'm not offensive to others. I know others obsess about getting out of a messy diaper asap and I can understand that. But after 20 plus years I clean up on my terms and when I'm ready.
  11. Do I enjoy being incontinent? Not particularly. Major inconvenience! However, being a former diapered bedwetter I did get used to diapers and will admit I do enjoy them at times.
  12. Around the house during the day I can by in a confi-dry 24/7 with a booster when I'm not "airing out", I still have pretty good bladder control so after a big BM ( I use Metamucil 3x a day which increases volume and frequency)
  13. It's kind of a tricky thing. Since I stay in my diapers longer than most there is the possibility of some mixing. Not much but when I've out of the house most of the day (golfing, at the library or on the boat) it can become a problem but not much. I've had very
  14. For the last two decades, after some abdominal surgery, I have had almost daily accidents. I was told this side effect of the surgery was rare and most likely temporary. Right. In the beginning it was always a very loose stool and I had to start wearing 24/7. Every adult baby/kids dream, right? Wrong. Not only is it a major inconvenience, but it often killed the enjoyment. I was told to use a bulk producing fiber supplement and that cleared up the loose BM's. However, I still suffered from such severe urgency that I hardly ever made it to the bathroom in time. It took years to get used to it. The enjoyment came back, but only when I was in the mood. It's still mostly an inconvenience. Now days when I start to feel the urge
  15. Is shipping still unmarked boxes? I'm not ashamed of my need to wear but prefer not to advertise it.
  16. I often wondered what effect combining loperamide with some "fiber loading" would produce. I have severe bowel urgency as a result of a long ago surgery and while it has resulted in some diaper dependency off and on over the years, the use of a bulk producing fiber supplement firmed my BM's up to an acceptable level. Well formed, semi-firm and easy to pass (too easy as it often turns out). When I get an urge it escalates rather quickly and I frequently end up with near immediate release. When in an ab/dl mood this is a desirable effect of my urge incontinence. Other times, not so much. It was suggested that I reduce the amount of metamucil I use daily but when I tried that I had very uncomfortable constipation. I've been using it so long that my system actually requires it. I began the fiber therapy at the suggestion of my surgeon after I complained about loose BM's with severe urgency. The metamucil did wonders for the loose BM's but helped little when it came to the severe urgency. He insisted that it would help keep my diverticulosis from becoming another health risk ( the reason for my surgery). He told me that the urgency would go away over time. It never did, a point I make to my primary care physician at every chance I get. So I thought that using loperamide (anti-diarrheal) would at the very least give me some relief from the frequency, allowing me more "clean time". This has helped quite well. Unfortunately, it has made already large BM releases enormous. At times, depending on how much loperamide I take, I even need a suppository when the rare instances of constipation occur. I was just wondering if anyone else has tried this combination and the results they experienced. I suppose I should have posted this in the incontinence forum but so be it. This will probably get more exposure here.
  17. Over the years I have had too many accidents to count. When it's a BM, since I use Desitin (zinc oxide) for rashes and Nullo for odors it's rarely a problem. I wear
  18. I use Metamucil 2 to 3 times a day so my poop is not too soft. It's semi-solid, well formed, easy to pass and usually quite large. A Metamucil poop (along with a relatively healthy diet) is always large. It's fairly easy at clean-up because the Metamucil in my BM's don't really stick to me or the diaper. Kind of like a firmer jello. Passing a poop is often effortless but with the severe urgency, when I have to go I really have to GO NOW. I can't tell you how often I accidentally pooped my pants because I just couldn't make it. It is caused by some bowel surgery I had decades ago. The surgeon removed about a foot of my lower
  19. I always use a lot of Desitin (zinc oxide) all over my diaper area. Back, sides and front. I haven't had a rash in decades although after one of these sessions I sometimes have a slight
  20. The whole experience is so over the top. The waiting, the knowing whats coming, the bloated discomfort that comes from some good fiber loading and knowing it means a big one is on the way. The actual act is the very top
  21. I mess my diapers in public all the time. Proper precautions (Nullo and good plastic pants) and there should be no problems. Years ago I was alot more nervous about it. I used to go to this forest preserve near my house. I was using Metamucil even back then so I could always plan it so a huge BM would end up in my diaper a few times during the day. Si I grab my beach chair that I wear like a backpack and after parking head down this path through the woods that opens up to this big 40 or 50 acre clearing. I find a nice spot to set up, pull out my book and enjoy a nice afternoon with a couple of cold beers and a few munchies. I don't usually see anyone and if I did, the clearing was big enough that people kept their distance. So I'm sitting there enjoying a beautiful day when I hear some noise coming from the bridle path on the other side of the clearing and to my surprise, out come a half dozen horse riders (there are stables close by). When the hit the clearing they all started to cantor their horses across the field. I'd never seen it befor and thought it was kind of cool. After they road off it was quiet again for 20 minutes or so. Then I heard a comotion from the path I had used and to my horror, a
  22. I'm not sure why but I've been on a 24/7 jag for almost a week now. Usually I get tired of it after 3 or 4 days but I'm on day 6 now and haven't lost the thrill. I always use Desitin so I haven't had any rash or discomfort. I've been wearing my diapers for at least 24 hours, sometimes 36 at a time.
  23. Iv'e never been a big fan of bkie riding unless on my Harley. Even with loads of Desitin
  24. I think the oral laxatives are the most dangerous, especially over time. I've never had a problem with the bulk producing fiber supplements and the results after a day of fiber loading are spectacular. Smell is way reduced, easier clean-up as it dosen't really stick to anything. The consistancy is a lot like jello only firmer.
  25. I will consume a half dozen (or more) triple doses of metamucil. My system has about an 8 hour turnaround time so the next day I poop about once an hour for 6 hours. A really good diaper is needed for this type of pooping marathon. I use a dry 24/7 under a babykins pull-up cloth diaper and plastic pants. Be sure to tape around the disposable leg openings so you don't have a major blow-out.
