  1. Sometime during the summer (2016) Gary Evans sold the XP Medical diaper business he created in 2003 and built into a respected business with solid customer service and excellent (non ab branded) diapers. The first big difference is the website. I don't like it because it doesn't work well with older browsers, and the layout is not as simple as the one Gary had for years. In addition, it has taken them two months to make critical changes from the first version of their new website - like adding the selection of "case" to at least one of the diaper brands they carry. That is fixed now, but they seem to lack the agile biz model that Gary always demonstrated. Absorbency + --Gary's own invention to replace the disappearance of plastic backed diapers when Abena largely stopped making them-- was available in two "levels" 3 and 4. These corresponded to the "levels" that Abena uses. "4" is the most absorbent and thickets; "3" was an in-between level with a slightly reduced price. In many cases, worked just fine. However, the new owner has discontinued Level 3. They say that Gary remains as a "consultant" -- and that he recommended discontinuing Level 3. (In speaking with a customer service rep.)
  2. I dunno. Maybe replace negative with positive? At the time, verbally tell your gf you love her. And other affirmations. See what happens.
  3. I wish we could live and let live here! Some threads are devoted to telling the incontinent wannabees they need a psychiatrist. In the past we had personal attack threads. Now an attack on lurkers. Mind you, it is one thing to say that lurkers annoy you and give a reason, and another thing to ask if we can "get rid of them." Can you tell me how lurkers hurt this board? If you want a board / chatroom with lurkers systematically purged by a strong-handed moderator, you might want to look into www.ab-dlgroup.com created by "Sam" .... here is a flavor of that approach: "Speaking of members and memberships, I have now begun removing what I believe are dead accounts. For the record, I see what some are doing. As your membership is deleted, you quickly rejoin the group thinking you now have another month of lurking. Guess again! I suggest that the many new members who just signed up with our group (past 2 weeks) start posting to our group a.s.a.p. It’s not as though you don’t know what is happening. You were sent a letter explaining everything the minute you were admitted into this group. "As I mentioned, I have already begun deleting memberships who have not done anything in the past year. There will be many names who leave this group, and many who will not be allowed to return. Within the next week, I expect a few hundred memberships to be gone. Again, I hold no ill feelings to those who will be leaving. You must understand, this is Our Home and we allowed you in. If I came into your home, I would be expected to follow your rules, as I expect you to follow ours. And we want a group where all the members are on the same page. We have made this work in the past, And We WILL make it work again. I am sorry if many of you do not agree with our rules and decisions,..." This email was typical of that sent out to members on a regular basis. I found that approach offensive and I surely hope nothing like that will occur here. However, if yhou want a group like that, feel free to go there and sign up. The Daily Diapers site involves a generous mixture of many elements: from lighthearted games and threads on the boards (name that tune and others) to soft porn in the picture galleries; from serious reviews on the quality of diapers and concerns of incontinents to references to fetishes like pants-pissing and lingerie; from serious inquiries about the nature of infantilism to invitations for private meet-ups for adult fun; etc etc. It works. There are thousands that come to this site for one aspect or another. There are things that annoy me as well (as you can tell) but I don't punctuate it by telling others they are crazy or to try to get them excommunicated from the site. Apart from anything that might be illegal (eg., allowing minors to participate)... live and let live here!
  4. I wanted to respond to the first few posts in this thread. But there is absolutely no way I could have said what you said any better. Thanks.
  5. On that point, I can tell you that Socalab is a reliable, trustworthy guy who will not rip you off. See... http://socalab.250x.com/ I am not testifying that his CDs work, mind you. Actually I have not had the opportunity to a) use the CDs extensively after buying, or fully implement the regime to accompany the CD program. But as for whether you will receive what you paid for, don't worry, you are not dealing with DPF (etc) here. He is meticulous regarding honesty. If you give him your money, you will get his product.
  6. I came across this comfort blankie: http://www.jardinediapers.com/Satin-Comfor...ankie-p-30.html I do love the satin backing to hold while sucking my thumb. Not that I have a "blankie" now... hmmm wait, I do use the satin comforter on my bed more or less the same way I did years ago as a toddler when I had the blankie with the satin edge to it. Does the expression "tickle-feel" ring a bell? Just hold tyhe corner in your hand while sucking, and tickle your cheek and nose. Honestly, I think the word "transitional" in the ad is hilarious. For most of my adult life I loved the feel of silky underwear on me and satin comforters against my face. At about age 54 I discovered what I REALLY was missing all these years.... being diapered! Now I have "transitioned" out of a strong need for lingerie and it has been replaced by a strong need to be diapered as much as possible. Back to basics. For more of my story, I have a fictionalized version on my web site. If you can get in when the volume isn't too heavy.
  7. Well, yahtzee isn't exactly a board game, so let me mention one I'm currently hooked on. It is a word game (think scrabble) but it has no board and all the letters are on cards that are dealt out. It's Quiddler. As for Risk being in the parents closet... HA! Now, are the little blocks made of plastic or wood?? Yep, I remember Risk when i was about 8th grade... and still have it along with many other games. Another game (more current) is Blockus. It's like several other games, for example Bridget.
  8. Richie - The text you quoted, is in QUOTES! It's from the news! It was Daily Di sharing something in the news. Daily Di's stats have nothing to do with the person who is making the statement.
  9. Ditto on good service. I have called ahead to make sure a print is in stock before ordering.
  10. Ever heard of the Dead Sea Scrolls? They pretty much prove that the original Hebrew text, as we know it, has not changed in 2000 years. It is true that modern language versions get changed around a bit, but not much. Unless one is speaking of deliberate "paraphrases" which is quite a diff thing. BTW, learning Hebrew won't help much with reading the original NT as it was written in Greek, not Hebrew.
  11. Just a thought - one thing I'd suggest NOT doing is putting people on camera in such a way that their identity is hidden, like with changed voice or shadowed face. That just communicates that there is something to be ashamed of, illegal, immoral, etc. I love the idea of the 100 people, well, ok, a LOT of people. Or information that suggests a larger number than might be suggested by just six people. On the other hand, to get the diversity you'd almost HAVE to include some who concealed their identities since I suspect they make up a vast majority. Those that are "out" also represent only a segment of those in the adbdl world. Major dilemma.
  12. This was posted on aby.com and I'll just pass it along. Quite interesting. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blanket_sleeper
