  1. So... I did it. I wore my Tykables shortalls out - I took my dog for a walk in the park, which in fairness wasn't particularly crowded, but we did run into a group of old folks walking their dogs. The dogs said hello, so we naturally chatted. It didn't come up at all, nobody gave me weird looks, nobody seemed to care. And it reminded me about what it was like buying diapers in a store as a teenager, when you get all nervous and antsy until you're well out the door and in your crappy first car... and I came to the realization that it was very likely that nobody cared. And even if they did, so what? It's a functional piece of clothing and I live in the Southern US. It's hot. Oh well. I figure I'll wear them out again and own it.
  2. Got the new Khaki shortalls from Tykables in the mail this week, and I have to say, I love them. I searched for this thread asking the same question as OP... so I understand the dilemma. It's hot and humid AF down here (coastal North Carolina) in the summer, and to be honest I find it a very functional piece of clothing when the weather is this warm. But I'm a wimp. I'm new to the area and there are many vacationers, so honestly I don't know if anyone would care or not. And I know I shouldn't care if they care, but ya'know how it is...
  3. Congrats on giving this a try! The first diapers are always the best ones. Learning what kinds you like, how to properly use them, change them, it's all part of the experience. You talking about it reminds me of what it was like for me when I was just getting my feet wet. I started a little younger than you, but still - it's fun to reminisce.
  4. How do you handle diaper changes? I assume you don't take the whole thing out every time and just wipe the diaper area like usual. How often would you typically remove it?
  5. Got some of these on Amazon, they arrived today. I've already gone through one of them, and while I'm over the weight range - these by far fit me better than any of their products ever have, and I'm honestly thrilled they decided to smarten up and offer bigger products. Literally a lifelong dream finally come true. Also, a good motivator to lose more weight.
  6. This is something I've always thought about trying, but to be honest I don't really understand all the differences between the different kinds of catheters. Ideally I'd prefer to not have some contraption sticking out at the end, seems less realistic. I know stents are a thing, but I'm super nervous about those... but intrigued. Any advice for a total newb?
  7. I could probably do it, but I know I'm not good at follow-through
  8. It'd be cool to make our own forum software.
  9. I was literally just reading about this for the first time this morning, and now it's over. yay c:
  10. Or leaks >.<
  11. I need all of the things. 😮
  12. Just uh... just now. Tummy was a'rumblin all day, and when it was ready I just kinda let it do it's thing. Don't think it's finished even, things seem to be going at their own pace down there. o:
  13. I'm very similar. If my diaper is too new it would annoy me to waste it and change it right away, so generally I don't. Otherwise, I don't mind sitting in a poopy diaper, makes me feel very toddlery and smol. I almost always shower after messy diapers, as well. I will also use good diaper cream. That'd be the one exception if there were any - if I don't use the cream, that messy diaper comes off immediately. But relatively speaking my skin is kind of like iron down there.
