  1. I have tried just about ever night diaper on the market. I need an extra heavy diaper at
  2. There have been a few times when I thought it would be OK to just wear the disposable diaper ( and I always wear a cotton brief over anyway), just to keep it in place. One a few of those occasions, when I did that, and peed heavily, there would be a leak around the leg, so I thought, "You have plenty of plastic pants, why didn't you wear a pair and this would not have happened. So, I advise, unless you are oounging around the house and it doesn't mean anything to you, go ahead and slip on the plastic pants just to be safe, regardless how good the diaper may be.
  3. About 10, can't pass up a sale on plastic pants. After a while they all rip, so it's good to have a bunch.
  4. Gary is comfortable and is, hands down, the best quality for long haul wearing. I keep Leak master for nights when I want to switch off. The Leak master will rip along the waistband after a while. That's why I ordered three once when they were on sale.
  5. Some mornings I use pull ups other days Seni guards which are quite absorbent. Thanks.
  6. Probably the heaviest Pull up I have used was from Abena. It is super thick. But being a pull up even though it's thick it still leaks out the side when I am laying on my back. So a brief is still your best bet for night time unless you are a light sleeper. Good luck.
  7. I very much appreciate everyone's comments.
  8. Don't mind as long as there is no wet bed. That is why I use plastic pants and even disposable pad under me. Every so often I am glad I have that pad because diaper is soaked and plastic pants did their job but leaks around legs or back seep out.
  9. I don't take anything for it, but midodrine atorvastatin, metformin and Corey for circulation and heart and prediabetes. Maybe they collectively do that. Just thankful for disposable stuff not cloth
  10. I doubt I'm alone with this situation: I'm 66, have been diagnosed with BPH. At night, I wear diaper or brief for wetting during the night. (With plastic pants and bed pad to save mattress). I can empty my bladder in the morning, but maybe 5-10 minutes later, out comes a leak. I've used disposable underwear, male guards (from Depend, Tena, Abena and Seni) by the time I have breakfast and ready for my shower, I've generally loaded the guard, sometime to overflowing. I mentioned to my urologist but he sortta shrugged like "What do you expect?" I'm wearing a guard to work most days, because of those little leaks. Does anyone else have a similar situation?
  11. I believe I have tried just about every diaper and underwear on the market. I'm a heavy user, especially at night. Tranquility brought out a terrific overnight brief, not the ATN, they are OK but not for me without a booster. Abena is a great place to start, they have super good briefs. I also tried their underwear, which is bulky but good. XP Medical as their own brand brief that are excellent. You may want to also consider using boosters. I use Abena, but Tranquility has great boosters. For heavy use get the larger ones not the strips. I have used Wellness, which are good, too. Price is important, so try samples and see what works for you. And, don't be ashamed or afraid to use a diaper cover. Gabby makes a terrific one. Adult Cloth Diaper makes a Leakmaster that is also good, and fully sized. If you want a cooler alternative, look into Kleinert's nylon briefs. They are cooler and fairly waterproof. Good luck!
  12. It's bedtime, when I stand there without any clothes on, and then put on a diaper, booster pad and
  13. There are times when I feel like just relaxing, and putting on a diaper and letting go. I don't do it often, because, as stated above, the cleanup is a hassle.

I have bought plastic pants and some other items from them. They are reputable, although a tad high priced on diapers, but I'm told the brand they sell are good. I'd consider buying stuff from them again. They also sell those great AIO cloth diapers. I loved the pair I had, it was absolute hell to dry, but was terrific to wear.
  15. Definite thumbs up to wearing plastic pants. I have about 6-8 different pair, and wear over my diaper every night to bed. SOmetimes, they do their job, and prevent leaks, other nights, I pee too hard and they let wetness out the back, still I know if I did not wear them, the whole bed would be wet. I like the way they feel, and sometimes, just wear a pair like underwear for the fun and feeling of it. Why not? At least it's not illegal...yet. Pretty soon, the government will probably make it illegal to wear diapers without a doctor's prescription, then hire Diaper Patrol officers to make sure you are not wearing a diaper unless you are licensed!
  16. Comco is a good outfit in Minnesota. Adult Cloth Diaper also has good ones, Leakmasters. I have used both, and they are top notch. If you like AB Universe, they also have a reversible flannel on one side. plasatic on other. I have three pair of them. Good luck!
  17. You might want to consider Tranquility ATN with one of their new 27-ounce booster pad. I use their 13 ounce booster pad, and find them great overnight. The boosters are not much, maybe $5.95 for 12, and they are made to work with any diaper you might be wearing. And they DO work!
  18. Tried Dry Comfort, and found them pretty weak as a diaper.
  19. Consider a swim diaper. They are rather tight fitting, and are required in public pools for anyone who wears a diaper. We were at HersheyPark in Pennsylvania, and I saw that on the sign my the large wave pool. You can buy at most on-line medical suppliers or diaper suppliers. They are nylon and contain matter that would go into the pool. I had one, and wore it as a regular over the diaper diaper for a while.
  20. I might well consider purchasing them, because if they are like the original Gerber T.P., I could get used to them. I think AB Universe is a great place, and their products are good. Only drawback, the cheap diapers, not bad for absorbency, are really SMALL. I use a medium, and I barely can squeeze into them. Still, for the price, I can't complain. Bring on the Gerber style T.P.!
  21. I'm siding with the folks who say we really need thicker, more absorbing disposables. I have tried so many diapers, in search of really absorbent ones, and homes in on three decent absorbent diapers that I can wear at night: Prevail PM, Tranquility ATN and Euro Briefs. One more aside, I really wish they made them in blue, but white is OK. As previously stated, a lot of the manufacturing has to be discreet so that adults who wear will not be shamed by wearing. We, who choose to wear, have more liberty than those folks
  22. Had to share this with you folks: Today I was in CVS, walking down the "Incontinent" aisle, looking at the assortment when a teen girl and her mother walked by. The lass said to her mother, loud enough for me to hear, "It would be so great to be in diapers again!" I almost wanted to say, but did not, "Well, why not buy a pack and relive the good times?"
  23. Just the thought of turning back time, being able to pee when and where you have to, and being tucked in all snug, with a plastic pants to catch accidents, that's what it's great to say about diapers.
  24. I consider a person an AB when they dress like a baby, onesie, use pacifiers, bottles, etc. Those who are simply DL like and use diapers under ordinary clothes, and may have some other quirks, but generally nothing to do with wanting to be treated like a baby.
