  1. I stopped wearing diapers when I got a new job, and noticed my underwear was soaked every day when I got home. Shortly after that I went on a long car ride and had a wet spot on my pants and the car seat when I got home. And another time I went on a long car ride with friends and had to pee really bad by the time we got there, but made it to the toilet, barely. However, on the return trip home, I got out of the car and there was a wet spot on my pants and the car seat and I didn't even know I went! So, I decided it was time just to be diapered from that point forward. Whenever I leave my house or go to bed I'm padded, but sometimes on my days off I'll just wear my threaded armor and use the potty. But as soon as I diaper up for the night I start wetting in small amounts very frequently.
  2. I'm a DL but I have Onesies and Footy Pajamas for practicality and comfort. The Onesies support diapers during the daytime, and hide your diaper from peeking out. Footy Pajamas are the best for cold winter nights, allowing better sleep and saving on energy costs.
  3. Welcome to club 24/7 There's a lot to it. Just know it's okay to take breaks every now and then. (I think most of us do). I'm coming up on one year of 24/7 because I realized I was having small accidents during the day. My boxers were soaked after coming home from work, and during long car rides I would discover a small wet spot on the seat... So, I started diapering up, and Its becoming less and less taboo, and I care less and less about how others might think about it. Make sure you take good care of your skin, and worth mentioning I hope you're showering at least once per day. (I like to shower in the morning.) But most people that don't wear diapers tend to prefer showering at night. Some products you might want to consider for your journey are: -Reusable Underpads and or PROTEC BRIEFS for catching leaks during Nighttime. https://www.northshorecare.com/incontinence-products/incontinence-bed-pads/washable-bed-pads/northshore-champion-xd-washable-underpads https://www.protecbriefs.com/products/adult-protecbriefs -Adult Onesies and Plastic Pants to support your diapers during the Daytime. -Diaper Disposal Bags are really good to have -Lots of premium diaper rash cream -A Diaper change kit in your Car -And much more! lol
  4. Try using gorilla tape to reinforce your diaper instead of pins. What I do is take a 7 inch strip of tape, and rip it down the middle, length wise. So now you have two 7 inch Half strips. Then, put one of those strips down somewhere for safe keeping. Now, take one of your 7 inch half strips and rip it down the middle again, length wise. Repeat this process until you have Four Total strips of equal size, (one for each tape). Then, reinforce your diaper tapes. They should hold all day or night, no matter how active you are. (This trick works on plastic backed or cloth like diapers.)
  5. Are you remembering to stretch them BEFORE you put them on? I always stretch the wings first and never have any issues. They're fantastic diapers.
  6. I literally tape on 100% of my diapers standing up. It started out as "practice" for a less than ideal changing scenario in a tight public stall. Now, it's just become a matter of preference to always tape-up while standing. IMPORTANT: The hardest part of changing while standing up is having your pants down. (I'm serious 🤣) EXAMPLE: If your pants are OFF, your legs can spread freely and your movement is not limited. However, having your pants DOWN around your ankles keeps your legs forced together somewhat, and limits your movement. This makes it very difficult to use wipes in an already tight area such as a bathroom stall. And an added BONUS: if you're cleaning a MESS with your pants down and you drop a "nugget", your Pants act as an Easter basket. THESE are all valid reasons I always choose the Handicapped stall for Diaper Changes IF it's available. One way to increase your speed is to have a decent "Diaper Kit" inside your backpack. Everything should be packed backwards so you have access to the wipes first and the fresh diapers last.
  7. I once used a handicapped stall in an airport that had a mirror, a trash can, and a sink. The mirror is very helpful for getting perfect tape placement. I also enjoyed the private sink feature, and the trash can was nice, but I've gotten used to the "walk of shame". (Carrying a loaded diaper through a public bathroom to the trash cans).
  8. I have several different diapers for different occasions. For example I have my BetterDry's for overnight use. ConfiDry24/7 for Daytime/Work. And I also have Reusable (Threaded Armors) for days off, when frequent changing is not an issue. And various types of boosters...
  9. I don't sleep with my phone, or my TV, just my diaper and my pajamas.
  10. I wake up with my soaked BetterDry diaper, and wear it for about an hour after I get out of bed until I finish messing. Then I'll put on my 12+ hour daytime diaper, a ConfiDry24/7 with an Abena "Boost" Booster. However if I'm just staying home i'll wear my Threaded Armors with some Gary Wear plastic Pants. Then I get padded up for bedtime in my BetterDry.
  11. I have some TENA SLIP MAXI's that I've been saving. I also have an ABENA M2 Plastic Backed, but it's pretty wrinkly and scrunched, lol.
  12. I have slept without a diaper once in the last five years. I was sleeping over at a friends house and decided it would be worth gambling that I could make it through the night without a diaper. So I tortured myself by denying any fluids several hours before bed, used the bathroom just before bed, and woke up in the middle of the night a couple times with a horrible dry mouth and got up to use the bathroom. The weird thing is next day I went un-diapered on a long car ride (with my friend and his wife to eat lunch at our favorite place.) I used the bathroom just before we left however during the hour drive I was having a really hard time holding it (but I made it to the restroom when we got there.) ...On the way back though, I had an accident without even realizing it, because when I got out of the car there was a wet spot on my pants and on the car seat... This happened again several months later on another long car ride, I got home and was wet without knowing I did it. I had also been coming home from work everyday and my underwear was soaked, but I thought it might have just been sweat... It was after these accidents I just decided to go into diapers 24/7 instead of just at night. I think I have light stress incontinence and post mitigation dribble(I think they call it), as well as a small bladder capacity. It becomes uncomfortable to hold it after a short time, and it's just easier to be diapered all the time, much more comfortable physically and mentally.
  13. In my case, after training to be a bedwetter, it became immediately permanent because I have absolutely no desire to go back to being dry at night. I love waking up soggy, every single morning. Wearing a diaper every night allows me to drink plenty of fluids before bed, with total uninterrupted deep sleep, vivid dreams, and I wake up feeling refreshed every morning. The biggest challenge is sleep-overs at friends and family, due mainly to overall inventory and also disposal.
  14. I poop really easily too. If I don't do anything it just comes out without me pushing at all. I don't trust myself to sleep without a Diaper, and If i'm going anywhere I prefer to be diapered at all times now. The Girl you're dating will find out eventually, i'm sure. And if she's the right person for you, she'll understand and support you.
  15. I remember being sick once, a few years ago. I had just gotten up, and drank some coffee...and must of had the flu or something. ....All of a sudden I got the urge to VOMIT...I had NO TIME to run to the bathroom.... So I grabbed a nearby trash can and let it rip. While I was puking, the force of the heaving made me poop my diaper. That was one of those..."I'm really glad I had my diaper on..." (moments) ?
  16. The only problem is having too many diapers that you don't like... It sucks to "burn through" the bad diapers to get to the favorites.
  17. Off the top of my head, It seems like you should make sure you have "All your Ducks in a Row" Before you go off DEEP into your little space. As long as you take care of your responsibilities beforehand, it shouldn't be a problem. "Work before Play", so to speak.
  18. The Abena Pullups work very well for night-time use, (last time I used them). They Hold a lot and are super comfortable. The only reason not to buy them would be that it's cheaper just to buy actual diapers. However, in your situation these should be easier for you to apply by yourself as you requested. If you wet heavily during the night they should also be very easy to take off in the morning. https://www.xpmedical.com/xp-abe-ab-u-flex3-xp I recommend the Flex 3's because they have the most absorbancy. I also recommend a large re-usable under-pad to sleep on.
  19. I think I'm in nearly the same situation as you. I wake up in a very wet diaper, and immediately make my coffee. Sometimes before my coffee is even finished brewing, I'll mess my diaper, (without pushing it out at all). Then, as I drink my coffee, I'll mess a second, or even a third time. My suggestion to you would be to keep yourself busy during this time to allow yourself to "finish pooping". Because changing out of your nighttime diaper too early might waste a fresh diaper, (which would be unfortunate.) I give myself about 30 minutes to check my email, the weather, etc... Then it's off to the shower. And lastly, before you take your nighttime diaper off, Give a good push and see if there's anything else in there.
  20. I always felt like If I was diaper dependent, I would no longer be "weird" for wanting to wear diapers.. Because at that point, I would be wearing them because I need them... I always wear to bed now, and on long car rides, airplanes, etc.
  21. I usually wake up in the middle of the night with a wet diaper, then go back to sleep. Then towards the early morning hours I'll wake up every so often, and empty my bladder into my diaper, and fall back asleep again. A lot of times though, i'll wake up and have no urge to pee at all....(because I already went while I was sleeping....
  22. Does anyone else actually have memories around the time they were potty-trained? I remember being awoken, confused in the middle of the night, walked to the bright lights of my bathroom by my parents for a "timed wetting". I also remember being very jealous that other children were allowed to wear diapers, but that I was not allowed to wear them... When I needed to use the potty as a child, I remember it feeling very "Un-Natural" to hold it in until a bathroom was available. I never liked the concept of placing my butt directly onto a toilet seat where other people have placed their butts..... It always seemed like a better option to use a diaper. I felt like I was just using the potty to "fit in", but deep down inside I always knew that I wanted to be back in diapers. And don't even get me started on "Porta-Potties". Those things are so gross, hot and smelly, and you can't even wash your hands after... And Toilet Paper DOES NOT clean as well as Baby Wipes do...
  23. Every morning after I get out of bed, I make my Coffee. Sometimes before my Coffee is even finished brewing, I mess in my Diaper. ...But I don't have to push it out anymore. I just feel a slight pressure, and shortly after that my Diaper starts to fill up with poop. I sip my Coffee, and a few minutes later I feel some more pressure, Followed by another BM. What's strange, is that I hardly ever mess while sleeping, It's only after I get out of bed that I trigger the urge to mess. When I'm getting close to finishing my coffee, I'll give it a good Push to "finish pooping" my Diaper. Then I jump in the shower and shortly after that I put on my Daytime Diaper. Has anyone else gone through a phase similar to this? I'm guessing this happens after relentless 24/7 wearing and nearly 99% potty avoidance...
  24. If I wore a Megamax doing what I do, It would leak through the middle section after 4-5 hours and the back would be DRY. Or the middle section would break down and SAP would start dropping everywhere. Not exactly what I call a "Quality Diaper". I use a Dry 24/7 with a Booster, and a Stuffer, +Plastic Pants and a Onesie. I can wet it all day if I want, but that means it might leak towards the end of my active shift. So cheating into the potty if I have time works on the occasion. However, If Megamax changes their design with flow channels like Pampers to provide better wicking to the back, I would happily give them another try. Cue the "I have no problems wetting the back of my megamax" comments
