  1. @rusty pins, that's true of every other plastic, vinyl, PUL, etc., pant I've tried, but not the latex ones. Every other pant I've tried has a waistband and leg gathers that use elastic (encased or not). They hug, but don't "seal." Latex seals. It's airtight. Only time there's an odor is when/if ya first sit down, cuz the air in the diaper has to go somewhere, lol! I've tried Nullo, activated charcoal, and some other "internal deodorant" (mushroom based, if memory serves?) to varying degrees of success and with various side effects... YRMV
  2. I'm tellin' ya guys... give the latex briefs a shot. I used to SCUBA dive. Hardcore. I liked freshwater shipwrecks, which meant deep, dark, & cold. I wore a dry suit, rather than a wet suit. It's what inspired me to find something with a latex seal. They work. I've worn dirty (more than I'd care to admit) in groups of people who didn't know. If you want odor control, the latex briefs are the way to go.
  3. Checkout Rearz latex briefs. They're down to a limited selection of sizes/colors. These used to be AC Medical. I hope they eventually re-stock. They're the only thing I've ever found that is truly air-tight and completely traps odors... They're also virtually (99.9%?) leak free for overnight use. I wear cloth over disposable with these over it all. Roll the waist over and tuck it into your diaper so it seals against the skin. They work great! MDL
  4. Disposable, booster folded lengthwise in front waistband, cloth diaper, latex pants, cloth fixing pant... That's it.
  5. I was around 5, but I didn't act on it until around 10/11. I wet the bed into my mid-late teens (16/17ish), but around 5 my mom told me she couldn't get plastic pants in my size. I remember feeling devastated, and jealous from there out when I saw someone younger wearing a diaper. When I was 10/11, we took a family trip where I was to share a bed with Mom's boyfriend. Because I still wet the bed, I was diapered (Depends sucked worse then than they do now.) That was the real "start." From then on, I got diapers however I could. I made them out of towels and trash bags. I stole them from friends younger siblings. I bought them with paper route money... It was a definitive "need," and I did whatever I needed to to fulfill it. God! I feel like such a junkie! lol!
  6. "How many people have you told?" It depends... How many have I told that I wear/use diapers? Probably 30-50. How many have I told I have a fetish involving diapers? 8-10 ish... How many have I told that I have a fetish that knew me first outside of a fetish community? 2... both of whom I married... So... It depends, lol!
  7. I’m right there with ya, Inconito! I went 24/7 just over 5 years ago. I have never fully achieved the holy grail (plenty of shades of gray, though), but I’ve also never looked back. Despite numerous challenges along the way, I am a happier person for accepting who I am. I would have it no other way. MDL
  8. Resurrection!!! Though I have to say, it’s a good thread to resurrect, lol!
  9. My skin is continuing to behave better than it had been. a few times it's felt like I was about to have a break out, but every time it's self corrected and gone away.
  10. I've seen two dermatologists now (though both work in the same practice/office).
  11. You guys have no idea how much I appreciate your feedback.
  12. @Craisler Thanks for the recommendation!
  13. I've been 24/7 for a little over 4 years.
  14. I've tried a number of "cloth-like" backing diapers and have yet to find one that doesn't sag horribly when wet.
  15. Congratulations, Brooke, on surviving and thriving given all that life's dealt!
  16. When I started out I would hold and void a lot more volume than I do now, so things have changed a bit from this, but what worked then was cloth over disposable with latex pants.
  17. I've been actively "working on" incontinence for 4 years.
  18. If this is something you truly want, then there is no "in the mood."
  19. I'll add another vote for cloth over disposables.
  20. I change on a schedule (regardless of how wet I am), unless I have a "problem."
  21. I stopped wetting the bed around 14/15 years old, but started again at 40. I'm glad to have had my college years dry.
