  1. Big oof on that point xD I can honestly say, at least for the pride march part ~ I have never seen a toilet (pull-ups are very useful in this respect) >.< Personally, pride is a protest ~ I am there always to address the inequalities of the LGBTQ+ community. Whilst I am absolutely in favour of freedom of personal expression, I personally would not engage in such a thing as it detracts from the message I am there to present.
  2. I've had it as long as I can remember and it's still BY FAR my favourite bed-time story ❤️ I'm at the point where I can recall it verbatim xD
  3. >Paci in, colouring book out ~ works 100% of the time :3 Or when Mummy calls me by my nickname!!
  4. It's been a long, long time since I read story by the both of you (and it's a shame that tonight, I should catch-up on one), but I just wanted to drop in and say as writers ~ you've both come a long way in that time! You two should be proud of yourselves ~ stylistically, there're a lot of similarities, but the substantive elements are much more divisive, and one would argue, much more compelling as a result ❤️
  5. There are a lot of puppets there ~ I'd forgotten we have a lot of puppet shows ~ also my Mummy knows of Hey Duggee but I don't... what kind of madness is this??? That's going on my to watch list I remember having a Bear in the big blue house VHS so that definitely made it over here, as did Arthur ~ I've never heard of P, B, J and Otter ~ added to my to watch list!! ------------------------------------------------------------ I thought of some more for the UK!! ------------------------------------------------------------ 34. 7. I was discussing TV for littles with my Mummy the other day and we could not agree on which country has the best shows ? Given that I was raised in the United Kingdom/Great Britain, I am 100% convinced we do :3 But I don't really know many shows outside of my own experience, so I thought it could be fun if everyone shared some TV shows from their country that appeal to the little/AB demographic I'll start ^^ ------------------------------------------------------------ 1. 8. I can't say I've ever had an issue, though I've never flown through the USA before Same for the hand luggage, I just kept spares in with my medication and it was fine. I cannot say aeroplane bathrooms are particularly comfortable though ?
  9. You both are speaking my language I started off as a blend drinker, gradually adding more single malts as the years went by. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For blends - I'm very much a Johnnie Walker Platinum/Blue/Port Ellen or a Chivas Regal 15 or Royal Salute person ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For single malts - If you ever get the chance to try Edradour 10 or 12, both are excellent Highland single malts!! Glenfiddich is a Speyside staple as it's relatively common here ~ although some of their latter attempts have been so-so ? Glenrothes and Glenlivet in my opinion is a better example of what Speyside has to offer ~ Glenlivet especially do an exceptional 25 year! Talisker is fine, the 10 year is often on for a reasonable price so I always have some in xD ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For US "whiskey" - Sorry, but most of it is dreck... I can get on with George Dickel No.8 and maybe some Gentleman Jack if I'm in the mood. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For Japanese whisky - Try Nikka Coffey (Malt not Grain) - if you leave it for the sugars to maturate once it's been opened, it tastes like candy. It is AMAZING! Suntory Toki and Nikka from the barrel are OK too ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I could go on, but I'd probably have to go dig through the liquor cabinet ~ easily the most expensive hobby I have
  10. Single malt or blend? Lowlands? Higlands? Speyside? Islay? Campbeltown?
  11. As far as I understand it, it's basically a result of the way your brain maps information, as in the information that normally should only hit one centre, hits multiple and lights up differing areas of the brain ~ it's quite a cool thing in that respect!! I remember the first time I could see colour in music so clearly, it was many many years ago as a teenager. I was listening to random AMVs on a CD I had, one of which had been set to a song by Metallica from S&M ~ when the orchestra hit, there was a rush of green everywhere. At the time, I freaked out. The thing is, from that point on, when I listened to music, the colours didn't stop and it was only after I was diagnosed and understood it a little better that I started to realise what a cool thing it was to have :3
  12. Compared to some of my other hobbies, I actually find my little space quite reasonable ~ never get into collecting Scotch!! xD But I absolutely get how much import taxes can suck
  13. As a fellow sufferer, I wish you all the best DailyDi ? May or may not help for you, but for the pain management during the migraine, gel eye masks that we keep in the fridge seem to help as they a) help to block out the light and b) provide some minor relief to the forehead/eye area!
  14. What you have there is a form of synesthesia :) It's reasonably uncommon and there are a few different types! ^^ Personally, I can't see colours in text but I am a diagnosed chromesthesiac (A form of synesthesia where I interpret music both audially and visually with a range of colours based on the music type, the strength of which depends on the emotional response to the music xD). I like blue music the best :D

    Toys To Buy

If you have bath time, you can't go wrong with some duckies As well, if the wall is tiled, you can do no wrong with bath crayons ^^ ~ it is ever so much fun to doodle on the wall ❤️
  16. Mummy sets all of the rules in our house, although to be fair, most of them have been added to the rules list because I've either run my mouth or just generally been a brat! xD Quite recently I've been relegated to 24/7 sippy cups for all of my drinks (unless Mummy says otherwise) ~ I'm kind of glad I talked back on that one

    Belarus

I have travelled intercontinental before (not to Belarus mind you) :3 Trust me when I say, unless local customs laws forbid it, it is MUCH easier to just bring your own along with a receipt ^^ If it's not unlawful and you have the paperwork, customs (in my experience) do not care
  18. It's getting on for close to a decade now since the last time I even thought about "it"... :3 I'm not sure if I'd class myself as asexual or abstinent. The person I'm with is asexual and I understood that prior to entering into a relationship with her ^^ Thing is, if I never think on "it" again, I'm totally OK with that ~ I'm very much of the opinion that when "it" doesn't form part of the dynamic of a relationship, the emotional bond becomes that much stronger, at least my experience bears that
  19. I didn't realise that this was a thing with littles... xD When we're having little time, Mummy will remove my watch and the turn the clock around as it stops me from knowing when bedtime is, same for my phone ^^ Would highly recommend everyone to give it ago as it is SUPER littling
  20. Thank you & have a great day as well :3 A pleasure to meet you ^^ ~ I think when it comes to pacifiers, I have probably been out of the loop for quite a long time (I only found out that they make adult sized pacifiers [beyond the Nuk 5] a few weeks ago) >.< My MO has always been if I see a design I like, to purchase 2 of the same pacifier (see below) and spend some time figuring out how to disassemble them to replace the teat (which has become really annoying as of late as a lot of brands seem to changed the composition of their plastic ~ meaning my traditional methods are becoming less effective :/) Oh and nothing wrong with cloth (I was raised in them too!) xD (I really am out of the loop, they now make printed disposables??? :S)
  21. Hey everyone, It's been a long time ~ >.< Call me Abrera ~ lover of pacifiers, emoticons and pastel coloured ponies :3 Whilst I first joined this board all the way back in 2008, I was last here back in 2011 (so I'm ab-so-lute-y a newbie at this point!!) Over the years, I've done many cool things and met many cool people, but I've always come back to my little space and life is, well... awesome ^^ There are so many wonderful people I used to converse with here that occasionally jump into my head on an idle afternoon!! Hopefully I'll get to converse with some of them again as well as meet some really cool new people! Peace, love & unicorns!!
