In Switzerland, where we have 4 national languages, it is usually called something like protective underwear. However when speaking, it is often referred as diaper (or an other language’s translation). Funny to notice test I have an American doctor and write a medical certificate that “he needs to wear diapers at all times”. Much easier this way, even for medical professionals! Before I had a full incontinence I used the Tena Men 1 in my underwear. They are black and if a high quality. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I actually had experiences that many medical professionals call it diapers as long as we start calling it this way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Stevewet, thanks for bringing this topic. I have a full incontinence with constant dripping and remaining control. I am wearing 24/7 since 2 1/2 years and my remaining control has not decreased at all! It is not wearing that impact the control, it is using! It means that if you don’t bother going anymore to the loo, and do it every time in your nappy, then it might have an impact. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Great support to your husband. It seems that he has a sudden change of his condition, therefore I might be important to it medically checked, as it could be a bigger medical issue causing it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

DL's Who Later Became Incontinent By Accident

Or it is the other way round. You have interest in diapers because you feel that there is a starting problem. In my case I was more and more interested as I started having small accidents and this was more and more the case. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

This happened to me. In May last year I suddenly (whiting a few hours with only a few small Shah signs before) had what is certified as "Total incontinence" for neurological reasons. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

It is the experience of many of us that letting go in the diapers is ok. Holding can either painful or can clinch the muscles. As you already miss 9 out of 10 times, then it makes sense. Wetting often but little is ideal for diapers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- 61 replies

What is the reason of your urges? OAB? Neurological? I have done experience but in order to find out if it is relevant, it would be great to know a little more. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- 61 replies

It also important to know.that drinking too much is also a big risk. Drinking more than 3 litters per day can lead to water poisoning. One of our neighbor nearly died from drinking 6-8 liter in less than 24 hours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
