  1. Weird, I have never seen an adult "Disposable" swim diaper. Where did you find those?
  2. I get mine from www.easyaccessclothing.com. These are the best I have found that really fit like they are supposed to. A onesie/bodysuit is supsed to help support the diaper and fit snugly, but not tight, around the legs. Most of the other ones I have tried are so long that they hang down between my legs or, in the case of the babykins ones, I have to alter them and tighten the legs up by about 3" on each side. I current work wear includes a light blue onsie, polo style, with the standard colar and triple buttons. I guess the main difference with me is that since I am truly incontinent I wear these for function more then for looks. Definately can't afford the sagy diaper waddle half way through the work day.
  3. Where do you even GET catheters without a perscription?
  4. Actually I've NEVER seen them go by attends 10 in the US. What I remember were attends with permadry. etc. never a number series.
  5. and this is actually a background that came with windows 7.
  6. Don't know what it is, but calling them a onsie has always irked me. A onsie is a body suit, with snaps in the crotch, commonly used on infants to help support a diaper and keep it from sagging off. These are what have been called Blanket sleepers, or I just call it a sleeper. Others just say feety pajamas. etc. You used to be able to find these in all sizes from infants to adults. Originally they started in the adult market and worked their way in to the infant market, tho, until recently they have gone the other direction and the only sizes you could find them in were the infant/toddler sizes. So people started referring to them as a baby item and thus associated to someone in diapers.
  7. Wow, a 4 year necro... Hehe... Cool..
  8. I have a cruise planed with the family in august. I've been searching around the web for info on incontinence and cruise ships, but came up dry other then one post about being cathed for it. Any ideas on how to handle this? We are flying out to Seattle and boarding the ship there and running out around to fairbanks and back. A week on the ship, I definitely can't carry enough with me.
  9. I actually didn't feel a thing, but then, thats pretty much the root of my problem.
  10. I've met my sperm, definatly couldn't count.
  11. Reminds me of something I thought up a long time ago. Basically an inflatable diaper. Your pp goaes in to a latex sleeve so that everything from that end goes right in, and a buttplug with a hose like extension that sends everything from that end inside. Would like to think that that would keep everything nice and cleand and dry. Wierd things you come up with after a week of diarea and anal leakage, compounded by an external hemheroid within an inch of the sphincter that tends to make things a bloody mess if irritated.

    Am I The Only One?

I feel about the same way, I live on the eastern shore, don't have a car, just my bike, so don't really get out much.
  13. Doh,.. heh, as long as I have been coming to DD, I never realized this area even existed. I'm pretty much all alone out here on the eastern shore tho. That i know of anyways. We used to have quite a group in the Columbia/Baltimore area that used to meet up at the inner harbor all the time. unfortunately most people moved away. I had to give my car away due to parking issues, and now can only get as far as my bicycle can take me. Shame there isn't a bicycle lane on the bay bridge.
  14. I am in Maryland as well, unfortunately I am over on yonder shore and don't have a car. Would be just a tad weird asking my brother or sister to drive me. I've been to a couple of the munches in the past tho, and I never knew anyone there that didn't wear a diaper, except for maybe the caretaker/mommy/daddy of a relationship. But then, it has been years, so things may have changed.
  15. I wet the bed until I was 19, was dry for a few years and now it's been off and on since. Very weak bladder combined with bein a very deep sleeper.I was in pampers every night until I was 9, and then there was a doctor appointment with a know nothing doctor. 3 years of the wet alarm followed, never woke me up, but woke the rest of the family up every night. Eventually I was back in diapers every night for their own sanity and peace of mind.
  16. Sorry, don't know how this reposted what I sent yesterday. Would promise not to do it again but "perplexed shrug". I don't think its so much a problem of stupidity as a problem of be under informed. When I first started having problems with incontinance, I wasn't about to talk to anyone about it, especially my family. I did everything I could to hide it from everyone, and drove atleast 25 miles away to pick up what were depends overnihts at the time even though there are atleast 9 pharmacies within 10 miles of where I live. The only way I knew of what products existed was by what was stocked on the shelves. Didn't have access to the internet other then at home and didn't need someone seeing me lookin up diapers. Pretty sure vast amounts of the elderly have no access as well. There is also the whole stigma thing attached to diapers that doesn't help any.
  17. My area seems to be ahead of the pack then. We have 9 drugstores in the area, and every one of them only carry the disposable underwear. Though we do have one that also carries cloth diapers and selk brand pantd and rubber pants from some other company I don't remember the name of. This store as well will order abenas, molicares etc. For you, they still only display the disposable underwear on there shelves, as far as a non reusable product is concerned. Things sure changed quick over the past 2 years.
  18. Ijust have one thing to say about powder. Donkt be a dumper. Too much powder qand it migrates to the leg bands and you get a rash real quick. I use an old sock, put the powder on it, and then just basicly pat myself with it. Inner thighs where the diaper rubs against the skin is where you really need it.
  19. Thanks a lot, now I have this image stuck in my head of turning on monday night baseball on espn, and the is the Pitcher winding up and throwing a slider. Dressed as normal Except instead of pants like everyone else, he's wearing a cushie.
  20. I actually need diapers, and frankly the whole discreet thing has done nothing but irritate me over the years. I would love something that thick and absorbent, for night time use, and it drives me crazy that every time they come out with an (overnite) product it isn't very long before it is reduced to foder in the name of discreetness. When I go to bed, I care more about keeping the bed dry. I haven't found any product other the cloth that really works without being altered in some form be it adding stuffers, plastic pants etc. I would sooner go to bed with my crotch inside of a giant beachball. Just gets to me that we hit a certain point with products, and now it seems like things are backsliding and getting worse again. I thought technology was suposed to make things better. Sorry for the rant, hit a little nerve you did.
  21. I do all my browsing either on my phone or my iPod touch. Place is inaccessible to me until they decide to go the way of YouTube and drop the java for html5.
  22. If my IBS is acting up, I may end up running to the bathroom 3 or 4 times in a work day. Definatly don't want a messy diaper at work tho it sometimes happens. Especially if the handicaped restroom is already occupied. Normally tho, I have a fresh abena on when I leave for work, and have the same one on when I come home, unless there pinholes or such in the plastic.
  23. For quite a long time I have been fairly regular. Wake up in the morning and within ten minutes hit the pot. For like the past three weeks now though, I have been runing within ten minutes of every meal, averaging four to five times a day. Very irritating especially since this last time at work I didn't really make it. Time to go to the doctors again and have him tell me I just need more fiber?
