  1. You didn't bother asking them why they were in diapers? That question wouldn't be unexpected. On a side note, maybe we should get a diapered crew together for Solstice festival in Fremont?
  2. If you're ever down in Seattle, I have a surplus of mediums and would be glad to give you a variety pack of a couple dozen. Stay dry and happy!
  3. It's already been done. Several years ago, the Nature Boy and Girl diapers had a smooth plastic-like backsheet that was actually made from cornstarch. I imagine they still do, except that the cover has cloth-like "fuzz" applied to it.
  4. About fifty cases, give or take, of various adult diapers. Probably 100 packages of vintage baby diapers. All but a dozen diapers are in a storage unit. Crazy, I know, but I kinda panicked when all the manufacturers went clothlike and bought up as much as I could. I was also given about two dozen cases of Attends from somebody who didn't need them anymore.
  5. Yes, I've seen several episodes where you can see diaper packages in the units. One was even an older package of Attends that would've been worth several hundred dollars on eBay! Of course, no attention was paid to them after the unit was purchased. Sad to think they probably got thrown away and Barry missed out on $.
  6. There are at least two brands of baby diapers still available with plastic backsheets in the US: Cool Diaps, available at some Babies-r-Us stores, and Bentley, available at various online stores/eBay.
  7. 1. Pet Sematary 2. The Ring 3. The Thing 4. Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)
  8. Did you flood it all at once, or release slowly? Depend is a thin diaper with a fair amount of SAP and not much of a wicking layer, so they need time to absorb wetness. I think you'd be surprised at how much they'll soak up if given time. No, I don't work for Kimberly-Clark nor is Depend high on my list of favorite diapers, but I think some of the bad rap toward the product is undeserved. Remember, diapers aren't toilets.
  9. Granted: You find an entire cargo container full of them, but sadly the container had fallen overboard and all the Goodnites are waterlogged. I wish I could spend a week back in 2005.
  10. Is there one featuring a disposable diaper with tapes? Yes, the PlayStation Forums thread is disappointing, but for countless "taboo" subjects in human history, the same discussions have occurred wherein ignorance and fear speaks louder than tolerance and understanding.
  11. Don't be swayed by the "they're not my beloved Abenas so I hate them" reviews. Try the Wellness! They're among the most comfortable diapers I've ever worn. The plastic is as soft and smooth as vintage Attends or Pampers, and that's something you rarely find on diapers anymore. I'll also throw in a vote for the Active Ultra, but I have also had problems with the velcro pulling off, as others have reported.
  12. How do you know he googled "X-Plus"? Did he say anything afterwards?
  13. I believe those are Kendall Lille, a European brand: http://cosyndry.com/news/kendall-lille-diapers
  14. I have a vintage Phase Linear 200 powering a pair of old Large Advents. It's hardly a top-notch system, but it has character! In storage many miles away, I have a Decware SE83B tube amp and a pair of Anthony Gallo Acoustics Nucleus Solos which make for an excellent system at lower listening levels. Someday I'll get that set back up again. Here's to the DD audiophiles!
  15. Me too! My wife bought me some new boxers for Christmas. We were joking around about people who whine when they don't get what they want for Christmas. She said, "I got you Jockeys, but you wanted Pampers!"
  16. Welcome to DD! I hope you make some good friends here and find plenty of interesting topics to engage in. Stay dry and happy!
  17. I wonder how XP got them in white only?
  18. ^ Is actually the Grinch. And stole all your Christmas.
  19. Fascinating. These are new production diapers with a poly backsheet? I'd say there'd definitely be some interest, not only from the ABDL crowd, but from parents who wish they still had the choice (yes, they exist!). I wonder how the Cool Diaps brand is doing, anyway? Do you have any influence over the construction of these diapers, or are you just reselling an existing product?
  20. Granted. You are now Geppetto's little boy. Which means you're made of wood and your nose grows when you tell a fib. I wish you could eat as many Reese's peanut butter cups as you wanted to without getting fat or contracting the dia-ah-bee-tus.
  21. If we donate, can we get a version of the board without the ads? My wife would probably browse with me on occasion if it weren't for the fetish ads on the page.
  22. I don't think "strange" is the right word, as I now wear regular underwear (boxers) the majority of the time, but they certainly are disappointing. Sometimes they're even downright uncomfortable! When I go back to boxers after wearing diapers, it doesn't feel right at all. It's not just the tangible lack of bulk; it feels like I'm naked, unprotected, vulnerable.
