I've always found it easier to wet if I'm pointed down. It definitely took practice to be able to wet lying in bed.

Dimethyl mercury, which is found in elevated levels in some fish (particularly fish high on the food chain), is extremely toxic. My understanding though, is that the symptoms take a long time (months) to manifest, and you have to eat a lot of fish. Eating a lot of sushi for lunch on one day isn't going to make you acutely symptomatic. Sounds like food poisoning, which sucks, but probably won't kill you. Hope you are feeling better!

Flannel lined jeans are definitely still out there...I think I have a pair of flannel lined cargo pants from a hunting supply store.

I'm happy with them. Definitely a big improvement over their original design, and very cute and babyish. They are especially great with a quadro booster.

This comic is fantastic. I know plenty of adults who sleep with teddy bears or stuffed animals.

I've tried both of their previous diapers, and I wasn't really impressed, but I'll certainly try these new ones. I'm willing to be patient with a company that tries to cater to our community, which is pretty small, and doesn't really afford the opportunity for huge profits.

Hmm, I've worn a couple now. They're definitely better than the first ABU diaper...but still not as absorbent as bambinos. That being said, I really like the look and fit, and the leak guards are some of the best around.

I see that ABuniverse is going to start selling an "overnight" diaper. I wasn't very impressed with their first diaper, although I did love the print, but I'm definitely going to try these out.

I have stuffed animals, a blankie, some AB cloths, diapers, and some legos. The really obvious AB stuff I keep out of sight. I want to build a crib, but its going to be a while before I have the time/money.

Yeah, count me in with the "as long as I can remember" crowd, although it was only recently that I actually started buying diapers and AB stuff.

We had a fire alarm in my building this morning, but I was still in bed wearing a diaper and a onesie. I just took off the onesie, put on baggy cargoes and a long t-shirt and went downstairs to mill around with all the other sleepy people. No one noticed. My partner said even she couldn't tell. It would have been more exciting if I had been more awake
