    • Oh sorry! It's like this!
    • Chapter 24: Autumn (Diaper) Changes Two months have now passed since my first week of kindergarten.  It was the middle of October, and the pretty colorful leaves were everywhere on the ground.  There were plenty of piles to jump in during recess. One thing that I’m very happy about is that stupid Charlotte is not in my class anymore.  Back in August, she brought in her chocolate chip cookies for the whole class.  We all tried one and while the cookie was yummy and good, Charlotte wasn’t.  The first thing that she said to me was “Sorry diaper baby.”  She then began yelling at me and saying that a baby like me should not be attending kindergarten in diapers. But after that, Mrs. Loomis sent her to the office, and she was never in our classroom again.  She was transferred to a different class, so I don’t have to deal with her anymore. Mommy just dropped me off with Randy, so we entered Hyde Park school for another awesome day. I entered Mrs. Loomis’s class and found all of my friends already sitting in their seats.  I saw Christie and Cassie in their seats already. “Hey Macy!” another familiar voice called out. “Hi Trixie!” I said with a smile. Oh!  And Trixie got transferred to my class in exchange for Charlotte back in August, so it has been fun ever since. Mrs. Loomis began the class with a video on telling time.  There were a lot of fun clocks that could talk and asked us if we could tell what time they were.  It reminded me of another video that we watched the other week that had a talking calendar that gave us the names of 12 months.  We spent a month learning all of the names and there was even a song that we learned to name the 12 months. After the video, we worked on a few exercises where we had to give the right time depending on where the clock’s hands were. About an hour into working on this, I saw Trixie raise her finger.  Just then, I gasped and realized that my diaper was about to leak so I raised my finger. Mrs. Loomis smiled.  “Trixie, Macy, you can both go.” We both left class and walked towards the nurse’s office. Like usual, there was a short line for me to get my diaper changed. Trixie smiled as she stood behind me in line and lifted up her dress, revealing her soaked Size 6 Pampers Cruisers diaper.  “I’m loving this, Macy!” I nodded.  “We just learned about the calendar so how long has it been?” Trixie scratched her head.  “Since the beginning of October, so half of a month?” I nodded.  “Yeah.  Whatever those things are called that are smaller than months but larger than days.  So, how did you finally get to wear diapers?  Was it because of that trip to the doctor?” Trixie nodded.  “Yeah.  Mommy told me that I needed to go to the doctor because my accidents were not stopping.  After testing me, the doctor told my mommy that my bladder doesn’t work anymore and that I couldn’t control pooping either.  So I get to wear diapers all the time now!  Hello Kitty also needs diapers, so I share them with her.” I grinned.  “She does?  Well, at least she doesn’t have to worry about that yucky potty anymore!” At this, we both giggled.  We then saw a tiny girl walk up behind us.  I recognized that tiny girl to be Sophia, who smiled when she saw us.  Unlike the beginning of school, Sophia did not have her pacifier in her mouth (From what she told me from a month ago, they have been taking it away from her and giving it back to her at the end of the day.  She whined about it at first, but she knows that they will give her a small piece of candy at the end of the day and a Tootsie pop every Friday, so she stopped whining after that.) “May-dee!” she said, trying to say my name correctly.  “Tick-see!  Yoo getten dye-pah tange?” We both nodded. I then smiled at Sophia.  “And you are a big girl!  You didn’t need a para to help guide you here this time!” Sophia nodded.  “I big gul.  I do it myself!”  She then scratched her head.  “Wen we hav sweep ovah?  Cuh-zin said it otay!” I grinned.  “I have a lot of friends, Sophia.  Who would it be?” “Yoo and Tick-see!” Sophia said with a smile.  “Jus yoo two!  We hav fun in my woom. Pway wif toys!  Watch coca-melwon and boo-wee!  Cuh-zin vewwy nice but I miss mah-mee and dah-dee…” Trixie nodded, but then sighed.  “It’s fun to get changed, Macy but poor Cassie is still in Pull-Ups…” Sophia smiled.  “What Pahl-Up?” I pointed down at where my diaper was.  “Sophia, a Pull-Up is what big girls wear when they’re potty trained.  You can pull them on and off like underwear.” “Yeah.” Trixie said.  “They can hold pee like a diaper but not as good.  They leak very easy.  Yeah Macy.  Isn’t her accidents getting worse at home?” I nodded.  “Why doesn’t her mommy just put her back in diapers already?  She might be able to get the doctor’s note.  Then she can get her diaper changed with all of us!” I glanced at the line and saw that there were still three kids ahead of us.  From my experience over the two months, I have seen these kids before.  In front of me was a first-grade girl, followed by another first-grade girl and a second-grade boy. “I hope that I get Heather.”  Trixie said.  “I have only gotten her a couple times.” I nodded.  “I’ve been getting Heather a lot less too.  I also like Becky and Vanessa.  The other three are also pretty good, but I like Becky, Vanessa, and Heather the best.” Trixie nodded.  “Becky and Vanessa are also good.” A number of minutes later, it was my turn.  Six kids left the nurse’s office and I entered with Trixie, Sophia, and one other girl from the second grade (it wasn’t Tori). Since the change in nurses, there were 16 changing tables set up.  Six were set up for kindergarten.  Five were set up for first grade.  And another five were set up for second grade. A para pro stood there and asked what grade we were in.  I, Trixie, and Sophia all said kindergarten, so we were all directed to the section for kindergarteners, while the one second grader was directed to a different section for the second graders. Each of the six changing tables had curtains that would be pulled back during a change so that no one could see each other’s changes.  Before the curtains were pulled back, I saw that Trixie ended up with Heather.  I ended up with Vanessa and Sophia ended up with Amber. Vanessa, like Heather, was very nice and gentle with changing my diaper and it only took a couple of minutes since my diaper was soaked and not poopy. After Trixie and I returned to class, we finished our exercises and had one more class activity with colors and shapes, followed by a free drawing art session. We then had lunch and recess.  When lunch was over, I went outside and played in the leaves with all of my friends.  Christie, Cassie, Trixie, Chloe, Tori, Claire, Ava, Kaylee, and Sophia. In the middle of our playtime, I saw Charlotte come running at us with Veronica.  They knocked a few of us down into the piles of leaves. The meanie Charlotte looked at me and all of my friends.  “It looks like we have a little daycare.  Are all you girls in diapers?” We all shyly nodded, while Cassie shook her head, along with Christie. “I’m in Pull-Ups…”  Cassie said weakly. “I’m in big girl underwear!” Christie shouted.  “I just like my friends, even if they do wear diapers!” Charlotte shook her head.  “You’re a big girl, Christie.  You shouldn’t be playing with babies.” Cassie sighed.  “What about me?” Charlotte shook her head.  “Babies also wear Pull-Ups.  Now, is that Pull-Up dry?  Am I going to see Minnie’s xylophone?”  She walked over and lifted up Cassie’s dress.  “All faded.  Wittle baby Cassie peed her Pull-Up!” Christie walked up and pulled Charlotte’s long hair.  “Cut it out, Charlotte!” Veronica looked at the rest of us.  “Do any of you babies need a change?” Christie was starting to look mad.  “Just stop it!  Both of you!  Come on, girls!  There’s a lot more of us than just the two of them!  Let’s get them!” We all surrounded Charlotte and Veronica.  Christie, Cassie, Trixie, Chloe, Tori, Claire, Ava, Kaylee, Sophia, and me. “Yeah!” Chloe shouted.  “Christie’s right!  There’s a lot more of us than just you too.  So, leave us alone!” Just then, something even more amazing happened. “You two! Are you bothering those poor little girls?” I turned around and smiled.  It was Erin!  And right next to her was Miranda. Erin, who towered over Charlotte and Veronica frowned.  “You leave those kindergarteners and that second grader alone!” Miranda nodded.  “Don’t you have anything better to do than just bully a group of kindergarteners?” Charlotte was starting to look nervous.  “But…” she stammered.  “They’re babies and they all wear diapers!” Both Erin and Miranda lifted up their dresses to reveal their diapers. “So?” Erin told Charlotte.  “Diapers are cool!” “Right?” Miranda said.  “Doesn’t it rock to have a bathroom anywhere you want?” “That’s yucky and gross!” Charlotte shouted.  “And you two are too old for diapers!” Both her and Miranda laughed. “Old people wear diapers!” Miranda said smiling.  “We’re definitely not too old!” Both Christie and I separated from the circle that surrounded Charlotte and Veronica and they began to walk away from the circle. “You’re all a bunch of stupid diaper babies!”  Charlotte cried, walking away with her friend. “And you’re all a couple of kindergarten brats that think that you can bully a group of girls that wear diapers because you’re just a little bigger than them!” Erin countered. “Charlotte, let’s do something else!” Veronica suggested.  “Aren’t those two girls a lot older than us?” “Yes.” Charlotte said in agreement.  “You diapered brats win for now, but we’ll be back!” Both Charlotte and Veronica walked away from all of us and made a beeline for the other side of the playground. Chloe smiled at the sight of them leaving.  “They’re running away!” Kaylee nodded.  “They’re all meanies anyway!  I don’t like them!” “Neither do I!” Ava said in agreement.   “Aren’t they mean, Claire?” Claire nodded.  “Those mean girls scared me.  I think that I peed my diaper a little bit.” “Me too!” Chloe shouted. “Me three!” Kaylee said with a giggle. “Me four!” Trixie said, smiling. “Well, I just did!” Miranda said smiling.  “But not because I was scared!” “It had to be lunch!” Erin said.  “Because I just peed a ton!”  She then looked at all of us.  “Girls, if those meanies ever bother you again, just come and get us!   We will also tell the para pros so they’ll be watching for Charlotte and Veronica if they ever try any mean things with you again.  Okay?” I grinned.  “Thanks Erin!” Erin nodded.  “Anytime, Macy!  Both Miranda and I both know what it’s like to be bullied during recess.  It’s not fun!” “And since we’re in the oldest grade, we can stop those mean bullies!” Miranda added.  “Have a fun rest of your recess in the leaves!” Sophia nodded.  “Fank yoo Ah-win and Ma-rahn-dah!” Both girls nodded and left our group to go and tell the para pros. We spent the rest of recess playing with Sophia in the leaves.  Over the past few weeks, we have gotten Sophia to stop playing in the dirt and start playing some other games with my other diaper friends on the playground.  The other big reason was that all of our mommies didn’t like the dirt that we got all over our dresses, so we had to stop doing this.  But the leaves didn’t get us dirty like the dirt so we played in the leaves.  We threw them in the air and crunched them in our hands.  We knocked each other down and were giggling the whole time. Recess was finally over, and we all entered the school. Back at Mrs. Loomis’s class, I took a test on all the letters in the alphabet.  I had to write all the letters correctly in both upper case and lower case.  This wasn’t too hard since I remembered every letter from all the past days and weeks that we learned them.  After that, we watched a video about sharing and numbers.  For the rest of the day, we learned some new words and some more things about telling time. During this lesson, I could smell a horrible stench coming from my diaper, so I immediately raised my finger.  And to my surprise, Trixie did the same. Mrs. Loomis nodded.  “Go ahead, Macy and Trixie.” Both Trixie and I walked down to the nurse’s office to get changed.  To my surprise, I saw a few other girls who I was with during recess.  I saw Chloe in the front of the line, followed by Claire, Ava, and Kaylee. Both Trixie and I gasped. “We all need diaper changes at the same time?” I gasped. Chloe nodded.  “Yeah!  My diaper’s about to leak!” “Mine is soaked!” Claire added. “So is mine!” Ava added. “I’m soaked and poopy!” Kaylee said with a frown. Shortly after Kaylee said this, eight kids exited the nurse’s office.  Five boys and three girls. We all entered the nurse’s office, and the para pro guided us to the kindergarten section. This time, I ended up with Heather.  Trixie got Becky.  Claire got Amber.  Ava got Vanessa.  Kaylee got Melissa.  Sophia wandered in late and got Laura, bringing our grade to capacity until they all finished changing us. After we all got changed, both Trixie and I returned to Mrs. Loomis’s class. Before I knew it, it was time for the second recess.  We all played in the leaves again with Sophia, only this time Charlotte and Veronica didn’t bother us.  There were also a couple of para pros nearby us who were watching us play.  I’m guessing that they were watching for Charlotte and Veronica and would stop them if they approached us. After recess, it was time to go home.  I enjoyed the short car ride home with mommy, Randy, Jake, and Phoebe as mommy asked about Randy’s day and mine. That night, my mommy made Spaghetti O’s with peas, apple slices and cookies for dessert.  I ate everything so I could make a happy plate and have one cookie. When my mommy was changing me into my nighttime diaper and zipping me into my pink footed sleeper, I asked her about the sleepover with Sophia and Trixie. My mommy sighed.  “Sophia wants to have a sleepover with you at her house?  That’s wonderful, Macy!  I will want to talk to her caregiver and see if it’s okay.” I sighed.  “Mommy, Sophia already told me that the caregiver said it was okay.” But my mommy sighed.  “Yes, but I haven’t spoken to her yet.  Can I do this before you go over to Sophia’s house?” I nodded.  “Yes mommy.” Mommy smiled.  “There’s a good Macy Dacy.   Now it’s bedtime, Macy.  I’m going to tuck you in and read Goodnight Moon to you.  Then it’s bedtime.  Okay!” I nodded and mommy carried me into my room.  She laid me in my bed and tucked me in.  She read Goodnight Moon to me and kissed me goodnight.  She then left the room. After a little while, I quietly got out of my bed and walked down the hallway.  I sometimes did this when I couldn’t fall asleep right away and this was one of those nights.  I stood by the door out of mommy’s sight and heard mommy and daddy talking. “Todd, Macy wants to go to Sophia’s house for a sleepover.” “A sleepover?  Isn’t Sophia that girl you told me about?  The one who’s developmentally delayed?” “Yes honey.  From what Macy has been telling me, she has been improving every week.  You should’ve heard what she said on the first day that she met her, Todd!  This Sophia had a pacifier in her mouth, and she wouldn’t go anywhere without it!” “Sounds like she’s very troubled, dear.  Do we know anything about her caretaker yet, Wendy?” “Not yet, dear.  I have made it a point to do that, but I keep getting busy with other projects.” “Don’t you think that you should talk to the caretaker before Macy goes to her house?  We want to make sure that Macy is going to a safe house and that this caretaker is responsible.” “Yes Todd.  I will make sure where Macy is going is safe.  But she already told me that the caretaker was fine with her coming over.  But it’s not fine with me.  I want to talk to her first.” “I totally agree with you, Wendy.  The sleepover doesn’t have to be tomorrow.  Let’s have it be on a night where the caretaker isn’t busy, okay?” “What about the weekend before Halloween?  If the caretaker wants to have Macy come over on a Friday, we can make it a short overnight thing.  Macy can get dropped off after school, spend the rest of the afternoon and evening there, and then spend the night.  I will pick her up on Saturday morning before lunch.  That would be perfect.” “Sounds good to me, honey.  Now, do you need to be changed dear?” “Yes.  I’m just wet.  You should’ve seen the one that I did earlier before I picked Jake, Randy, and Macy up from school.  It was a MESS!  I’m glad that I took care of that one.  But this diaper should be easy dear.” “Okay then.  This is just a side note, but when should we tell Macy about your incontinence?” “When she’s older, Todd.  Maybe when she’s at least 10 or older.  I think that it would be weird at her current age to know that her mommy wears diapers like her.  Again, this is something from my childhood that I cannot undo.  It’s a permanent reminder of my stubborn desire to wear diapers when I was just five.  Todd, you should see Macy.  She’s turning into me.  She has already lost her continence at five.  How is she going to date or go to the prom?  What boy is going to date Macy if she’s in diapers?” “A boy that understands her handicap, dear.  I mean, I had to deal with yours.” “Yeah, after you have teased me about it.  I don’t know.  I just wanted Macy to turn out normal, you know?” “But she’s like you now.  Which reminds me.  You’re smiling Wendy.  Do you still like them?” “Todd, what kind of question is that?” “Answer the question, Wendy.  Do you still like diapers?” “Well…fine.  I still kind of do.  Why else would I say that Macy is becoming me?  I liked them as a kid and now she likes them!  I just hope that Phoebe can be normal…” I was starting to get tired, so I quietly walked back to my room and closed the door softly.  Mommy mentioned a boy and a prom.  What’s a prom?  What’s a date?  I don’t really like boys yet.  They’re yucky and they have cooties.  For some reason, Christie already likes boys, but all my other friends still think that boys are gross. I got back in my bed, as a thought entered my mind.  Mommy said that she liked diapers when she was my age.  What did she mean by permanent reminder?  I know that I can’t hold it anymore and the last time that I really used the potty was during New Year’s Eve almost a year ago this December.  And I’m five years old right now.  Mommy wants me to be ten when I find out that she wears diapers?  What if I tell her that I know right now?  What would mommy say?  Where does mommy keep her diapers? All these questions filled my mind as I began to fall asleep.
    • I haven’t used diaper booster pads in a very long time. I’m issue with them last time is that the pad didn’t go the whole length of the diaper and so it felt lumpy to sit on. Is this still an issue, and what is everyone’s recommendations for booster pads to purchase?
    • I'm trying to find a good brand name for the next box. I want something that not exists yet and feels like a real diaper brand name from the 70's-80's, or maybe even older. And a good one, to write ads with it like "Change your diapies into Dryfees". I don't like when they make a name unique just by misspelling a word, changing s to z, leaving out letters etc. (Yes, I'm talking about you too, ABDL brands). And I think it was not common then. But there was a thing in the 80's here, which I may use. It was the abuse of the 'x' letter, like in 'comix' or 'somethingtex', 'somethingplex'. There was a trend in Hungary for naming products in an English resembling manner, sometimes mixing Hungarian words with shortened English words, like "Fősped". Was something like this in English speaking countries too?
