  1. I agree! Definitely one of my favorites! I’d love to see it continue on!
  2. Well @Enthusiand @sparklezBear I survived my doctors appointment, used your guys’ advice and had a minor panic attack. But it went better than I expected it could. I used the truth as you both instructed. Leaving out unnecessary parts of the truth, told her it was a life long thing and I wore more and more and have been wearing for a year 24/7 and that I need it on the record for work/air travel/ and other medical visits. She asked me questions about mental health, skin care with rashes and things and if I was happy with using diapers as a solution. She was totally professional and very understanding and put it all on the record. It now says I have stress urinary incontinence! I did it. Thanks again everyone. It’s a relief I no longer have to worry about that part of things any more.
  3. I’ll let you know on Tuesday ?? my doctors appointment is Tuesday morning. I’m having a minor freak out about it.
  4. I agree mostly. I try to keep work changes to a minimum. And I keep my bag in the car. If I need a change I usually run down the street and change at the gas station. I usually try to make my megamax last the day. I’m torn between always changing at lunch and being safe or trusting my megamax. I have had one bad leak, but luckily it was at lunch and I was able to run and clean up. I had to try and dry my pants though. That’s when I realized I needed to carry spare pants.
  5. I agree with sparklez. I wanted to die after I leaked through at work. But luckily I was on lunch and quickly went to the bathroom at a gas station. I didn’t have a change of pants. And I started re thinking everything. And like Enthusi said the extra prep is sometimes annoying or exhausting. But I had some support from friends and my GF/Mommy. And by that evening even though I was embarrassed I knew that I just needed to learn from the experience and keep going
  6. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences. I really appreciate it. I hope my office visit goes as well as yours! I guess I’ll go in with the truth method as well and hope the new doctor is understanding. Also man I feel you on the overflow event. My first one at work was mortifying and I have to escape to a gas station to change and try to dry my pants. It was the real test of being 24/7.
  7. Congratulations! That’s awesome! I’m at a similar place and almost a year in! Sounds like your doing great and I’m happy to hear your still happy with the decision. I experienced my first leak at work Monday and was mortified but I’m pretty sure I handled everything with no one realizing. What did you say to your doc? I have my first doctors appointment since being 24/7 in 2 weeks and I am so anxious about what to do and say. Congrats again!
  8. I’m in Saint Joseph Mo. feel free to message me as well!
  9. I love this thread! I need to put mine up here hopefully later today. For those of you who untrained but have it on your medical record. How did you go about it? did you tell the truth or that you have incontinence issues? Did they do any testing? I have an appointment coming up and I’m nervous about the conversation of putting it on my records. thanks!
  10. This group is awesome. I definitely lurk more than post it feels like but you guys are always so supportive. It’s pretty awesome. I’ve been full time since Jan of this year but wore pull ups at work. This week my fears we’re finally lowered and my number of close calls raised and I started wearing to work as well. The final frontier. My Mommy (girlfriend) was also super supportive and encouraged me that it was time to give up the pull ups. Thanks for all of your advice and updates. It’s definitely appreciated.
  11. Thanks @Crinkle butt I have continued on my journey of 24/7 and incontinence. My partner and I discussed and she decided there has been to many close calls with pull ups at work so today is my first day diapered at work since my bladder is at that point. I am scared but so far the megamax is holding up good and I have a spare one if needed(I’d run to the gas station to change). I hope I’m making the right decision since this is probably the point of no return. And before long I’ll go to the doctors in a diaper and hopefully I’m well on my way to truly needing diapers
  12. Today I was reminded of this as I accidentally wet my pull up, my Mommy thinks it might be time to wear diapers to work too which is the only time I’m in pull ups currently but being 24/7 since January has definitely changed me and apparently it’s time to live it even at work. It also makes things like the Renaissance festival and vacations much different but I’m still happy with the progress I’ve made and overall happy with my 24/7 decision!
  13. I shower every morning and just make sure to use baby wipes at diaper changes. Seems to work good for me.
