By who? If taken by surprise, don't worry! If you shit, you're already covered!

For many years I had a waterbed, well over 30 years. Sleep in cotton underpants and flannel pajama pants. Legs get hot and restless so much that sometimes I rub them down with cold water. Finally got rid of the waterbed mattress and went with memory foam which is so firm I had to get a 3 inch foam topper. New mattress and topper won't let me side sleep anymore (still a bit too firm for that) and still hot with the legs. Lately I have been doing away with the pajama bottoms and sleeping in underpants only. Still getting up at least 5+ times every night to go to the bathroom to pee. Not sleeping well unless I take pills. Even then my sleep isn't great and you wouldn't believe the crazy dreams I have.

This talk of pinning on t-shirts stuffed with diapers is interesting. I'd like to see someone walking around with an old Bud Light or Black Sabbath t-shirt stuffed with diapers pinned around their waist!

Oh, you are so right, Crinklz Kat. You might very well show upon a "People Of Walmart" site like this one: people of walmart diapers - Google Search

Fortunately you don't have to get up, shower and dress for a 9 to 5 job. Nice if you wake up at 4am with nothing to rush off to. Relax, take your time changing your diaper, play video games and enjoy the morning.

Instead of graduating with a "BA", you graduated with a "BM".

Got the house to myself this afternoon/evening for about 6 hours, so in a Betterdry with my tight short running shorts over it. Just about wet it before I had the last tape on.

That's OK. You can 'color' them yourself!

I was a bedwetter as a kid but stopped just before turning 6. I was diapered every night in cloth diapers and Gerber plastic pants. I very very rarely even try to wear a diaper to bed (exception is when I took a vacation trip 2 years ago and went 24/7 for the week). Even though I wore diapers up to almost age 6, I can't sleep well at all if I have a diaper on. I'm lucky to get 2 or 3 hours of very fitful sleep all night long if I have a diaper on. Even without diapers, I wake up every hour to hour and a half at night to get up and pee, an average of about 5 times every night. I doubt I could wet in my sleep to save my life, diapers or no diapers.

With your morning routine while making coffee and reading e-mails 💩, the extra room should come in handy!

And probably a lot heavier too!

Quoted diaper capacity is static testing. They will soak a diaper slowly until it leaks. Naturally, when wearing and wetting that diaper it will not reach even close to the stated capacity because of many factors. It's not just laying flat and open on a table while it's slowly being filled with liquid. You are wearing it and gravity will cause the pee to fill the front and crotch first before even wicking up the back. Constant walking will also affect the capacity as well as sitting and press outs. It is, however useful to look at the manufacturer's capacity numbers to choose a diaper that is more absorbent than another. For example, a Betterdry rated at 5000ml may hold a practical amount of 2500 to 3000ml. Likewise a Trest rated at 9000ml might really hold only 4500 to 5000ml when it's being worn, therefore while diapers won't reach their manufacture posted capacity, you can still tell a Trest will hold more and last you longer that a Betterdry. I also believe the situations when you are wearing help decide how much absorbency may be overkill. For example, when sleeping a Trest will last me all might without leaks while a Betterdry will start to leak for me at around 6 hours (I am a very heavy wetter day and night). On the other hand, when does absorbency become overkill or too much? Diapers are really not meant to be worn 12 or more hours without changing. Normal people probably change diapers every 6 hours, more or less so they aren't going around in a really wet saturated diaper. Changing more often is better for your health and skin. Here is my practical story. I took a driving trip a couple years ago and wanted to go as long as I could without having to change diapers, hoping I might even make it to my hotel that evening. I wore a Trest diaper, plastic pants, normal plain t-shirt snap crotch onesie and shorts. I was sitting while driving, wetting my diaper therefore gravity was letting my pee flow to the front and crotch and lower seat of the diaper. I was also stopping to tour some museums which meant walking around for a while in my wet Trest diaper. I had left home around 7:30am and by 3pm when I stopped at another museum, I was conscious of how wet and droopy my Trest had become, even with the plastic pants and onesie trying their best to hold it tight. While the Trest still had plenty of capacity left and I'm sure I could have gone at least 3 or more hours, it was getting uncomfortable to walk around in a really wet diaper that was heavy and sagging that much. I ended up changing diapers in that museums restroom before continuing my trip. My conclusions are: 1. Practical use of a diaper (wetting while wearing) will not reach a manufacturers static capacity from their testing. 2. High capacity diapers may be much better when non active like sleeping overnight laying down than when active and walking around doing things. 3. Eventually there is a point where any diaper will become uncomfortable to wear weather it is really wet, heavy, drooping badly or chafing even if it still has capacity left. Sometimes a diaper can have too much capacity to be comfortable in normal situations. Betterdry at 5000ml manufacturer rated capacity seems about right for me, even a Mega Max at slightly higher manufacturer rated capacity. Any more might be fine for sleeping but walking around doing things would eventually get too uncomfortable to the point I'd rather change diapers than continue with a soggy, heavy sagging diaper even though I could still keep wetting it for a few more hours.

Saturday morning and afternoon is a Betterdry diaper with my PEVA plastic pants and black tight running shorts. The plastic pants help keep leaks from reaching furniture, the shorts help hold everything tight and in place, plus I like how my diaper and plastic pants show out the leg openings when sitting.

Been to a couple in the past. No, I did not wear diapers, however it's my understanding that they have patients needing diapers who do wear if they have incontinence or bedwet. Remember, there is a reason you need to have a sleep study. It's for your health and if you have Seep Apnia, you are at a high risk for heart attack and stroke. My suggestion is don't treat your sleep study as an excuse to go diapered for the thrill. They do not change you, they are not your "mommy" and it's not like you are in a hospital with a severe injury or bedridden needing to wear diapers. At the sleep study you get ready for bed as normal, they hook up all kinds or wires to your head, legs and other areas. You go to sleep as usual and they monitor brain waves and how many times you stop breathing while sleeping and for how long. When I had my last sleep study it showed that I stopped breathing while sleeping for more that 10 seconds over 50 times in one hour. Very serious sleep apnia! I now have a CPAP and I rarely have any incidents while sleeping with it. My strong suggestion to you is, if you normally don't sleep diapered or have any incontinence or bedwetting issues, go without a diaper. Sleep at your sleep study as you normally sleep at home for the best and most accurate results. A sleep study is a very serious thing that isn't done unless there is a reason for it. Don't take it as a chance to show off that you wear diapers to the nurses and others in the hospital.

When Was The Last Time You Pooped Your Diaper

Too bad you didn't get to enjoy it longer, but I think you would have killed their appetites (along with several others) had you not changed before going out to dinner. -
I try many diapers, especially the low end store brands I get at Goodwill. It's always refreshing to try new diapers either by coming across them on a website or reading about them from members who have tried them. I don't stick with just one brand as I like many brands and some are suited better for situations than others. Trest are good fro long drives like on vacation. Abena L4 work well for me up to about 5 hours or so. My go to for longer than 5 hours or just for thick but not waddle thick is Betterdry. Molicare fits well with a stretchy plastic backing and Incontrol BeDry Overnights at 12,00ml will last me all night without leaking, as does Rearz Mega Inspire+ at 11,000ml. I did read years ago how members said ConfiDry 24/7 were the best (time marches on) so I ordered a bag. I didn't care for them at all. Trial and error, but that is howyou learn what diapers you like and which ones you will never buy again. I don't have just one favorite diaper or one that's "perfect for me". Variety is the spice of life and it would get pretty boring wearing the same brand diaper each and every time.

Maybe they hold pee better than farts!

I roller skated when I was in high school, but with two artificial knees and bad ankles I doubt I could even stand up anymore with roller skates on. I might be really tempted to try if the girls at the local roller rink were dressed like those in DiaperedDarkElf's artwork!

As a kid we always went to see the fireworks. Even into my 20, up to mid 40's or later I would watch fireworks. Now at almost age 67 I don't bother. Too much walking, finding a place to park a long ways away, dealing with traffic and rowdy people and staying up late, not to mention the heat and humidity. Sure, they are pretty and all, but without family any more, I don't even grill out or do anything special.

That's why I always have a big handful of diaper pins. When a tape won't stick, I just hold it in place while I stick a diaper pin through the tape and diaper. Always has worked well for me.

Glad you asked! Got back from running some errands and getting some groceries. I have the house to myself for about 5 hours so I put on an Abena L4 and my short black running shorts. Sitting in my recliner drinking diet soda and wetting my diaper.

Which brings up the question, which is worse? Waking up with a dry mouth and wet diaper, or a wet mouth and dry diaper?

And that's one reason I don't like the Fit-Right diapers. Even though they don't have belts like those old Depends, they fit like it. Nothing down by your lower hips like normal disposable diapers.
