Has not "diaper" become a generic term and what could be more different than cloth and disposibles? Also "Coke" and "kleenex" are generic terms that were based on brand names? An AB or Adult child, if she were thinking as a child would tend to the generic as used by ordinary people although I've not seen rubber of the type that was common back then. It is not as smooth as then except for some thin yellowish kind, more silky than slick. The big difference then was that real rubber was stretchy, otherwise they felt the same and the differences were trivial. The stretchiness mattered only if you wnated something that constricted. Also for some reason some persons wanted panties that had to be streched over the diapers
