Do you recall your first adult sized diaper?

I am pretty sure my first one was a Molicare, many years ago. I remember my heart pounding so hard I thought it was going to jump out my mouth.

My first adult diaper was I think one from assurance brand that I bought in a supermarket in South Africa in 1993 and it sucked as the tapes where dried and I had to use sticky tape to keep it on,The next ones I got where depends about 2 yrs later,in 2010 I discovered Dry24/7 and since have never looked back.

**Long story warning**

My first time was about 16 years ago now, i had just got my licence and my grandparents asked me to pop up to the chemist and pick up a script for them.

Whilst i was waiting in the store i wandered past the adult diaper section which was all the way down the back in the corner, i remember standing there transfixed by them for what seemed like ages until the lady came over and told me that my things were ready.

She also asked if i would like a hand, all of a sudden i replied, "i think these look like the right ones" and snatched up a packet of molicare tape up front diapers and proceded to the counter with her.

At this time i was thinking to myself, "what am i doing?"

As i left the store to go back to the carpark i freaked out thinking "what if i run into someone i know?"

All i can say at this point in time is the feeling was exhillerating and exciting and scary all in one!

I got to the car safely, dropped off the script to my grandparents, and jumped back into the car staring, once again almost hypnotized by the packet next to me.

For the next few days i read the packet and instructions that many times that i almost knew it by heart without reading it!

It was a few days until the weekend came around, so i decided i would go out of town camping to somewhere nice and quiet for a night or two.

I stuffed up the first one trying to get it on correctly as per the instructions, and kind of got dissapointed, and left it for that night.

The next day i decided i would try again,i managed to put it on properly this time and the feeling was amazing!

Not long after another 4x4 arrived at the campsite and they came over and asked would i mind if they camped over in the corner, i said i didnt mind at all, so they started setting up.

It was then that i realised that i was only wearing shorts and that my diaper was sticking up a few inches above them, and that they definately would of noticed.

As i hurredly went to get a shirt to put on i began to urinate and freaked out even more, clutching at my pants as i went to the tent!

I looked down and realised my clothes were not wet, and suddenly began to relax, the warmth was almost magical, the feeling of euphoria at this time was higher than anything i think i have ever experienced!

A little while later after they set up camp it was getting darkish they came over and sat by my fire for a while, we sat, chatted and enjoyed some beers together.

I got up to get another can, as i walked to my tent, i saw my chair was soaking wet, and looked down only to see my pants were of course soaked as well, i felt about 1 inch tall and i think my face would of been so bright red at this time that i would of put rudolph to shame!

As i came back to the fire after changing my clothes i noticed they had gone back to their camp and that they seemed pretty busy, i assumed they were getting dinner ready or something, so i thought i would do the same.

A few minutes later i heard an engine start and they took off, talk about feeling embarrased!!

Anyway that didnt stop me, and 16 years later, i still pad up when i get the chance , however i wonder if sometimes when i have a accident when im not wearing if its because of so many years of being padded, so im not so worried about these incidents/accidents anymore and have kind of dismissed it as not being an actual problem, now i just think of it as a mindset/psycological thing.

I still love my tape up super plus molicare plastic backed purple diapers to this day for private situations,, and pull up ones for at work because they are easier and quieter.

It was literally a few days before New Year, and I had come back to my boyfriend's student house after spending Christmas with my parents, as I had arranged a month previously. I first bought mine on January 12th 2003 and they were the Western Family brand. They felt thick and bulky and I did sweat in them for the first few nights and they would easily leak because I would pee heavily in them. But they were best I could do with getting them. At least I had diapers in my size. I would play with them a few times a week and went a whole weekend wearing them and used four a day so that was eight total and then around January 28th, I bought more because I had few left. That time the pack last me a while because I didn't wear as much and I was wearing Goodnites because they were more discreet. I also tried Depends refastenable underwear. Back then lot of supermarkets and department stores carried adult diapers, now very few do.

The first diapers I ever bought were Bambinos. I ordered 2 sample packs...one of the Biancos and one of the Classicos. At the time I was working as a nanny and the parents went away for a long weekend so I stayed with the baby. Each night after the kid went to bed I taped on one of the Bambinos and enjoyed myself for a few hours before going to bed myself. The first night, I got so excited when I was finally able to put one on. I loved how thick and bulky it was between my legs and how warm and squishy it felt when I wet it.

I bought my first pack of diapers the summer before my senior year in high school. I was finally able to get out of a family vacation where I was unable to find a friend to join me, which meant that I stayed home while my mom and brother spent their weekend out of the house. My next-door neighbors let me borrow their spare car that weekend, so I could run out and buy them after work. I visited a drug store two neighborhoods over and, based on plenty of consumer research at DPF and WetSet I knew I'd come home with medium Attends with six tapes. I lived on a street with neighbors that weren't social or interested in everybody's business but our houses were right on top of each other, and there were three younger girls that practically LIVED on their porch across the street. With nobody around when I arrived home, I felt so lucky to get inside with my quarry. A pack of those diapers would have been pretty noticeable!

After reading the instructions on the side to lay against the wall I was pretty baffled. I diapered myself for the first time while laying on my bathroom floor on the rug. I didn't have powder, but I felt so excited. It was really hot in our house (no air conditioning), and I had drawn the blinds. It took a while to pee. Not long after I had wet, my friends pulled up to my house! They had called a few times since the end of the work day and wanted to catch up, knowing my folks were out of town. I pretended like I wasn't around and eventually they left. It was incredibly stressful.

In order to store the diapers, I knew I had to go through several before the end of the weekend. I'm not sure if I changed into a new one eventually or if I slept without one that night. There were many more diapered nights to come!

Prior to my first time I had to make or tape mine together. Then in the fall of 95 I bought my first bag at a store while waiting for my dad to pick me up from work. I placed them in a box and easily explained it away. When I got home I noticed they were to small still had to tape them together. I felt pure euphoria followed by guilt. My first diaper was when Attends where good diapers and was in the Hospital getting evaluated and rehabbed for my first wheelchair and i peed the bed and the floor and they transferred me to a new room in a Attends Just kinda mashed up around my penis "they did not want to offend me by putting me in a diaper or asking to put one on me" so when that one was wet i said "Why not get a medium and tape it on me it will last longer and work better" And the staff was shocked that a big guy like me would have no problem wearing a diaper,and i told them i have a 50 chest now but i will be eaten alive by this disease and need more than Diapers in a few years,and right now if my chest is a 32 i'd be shocked!.
