  1. Yesterday's Rearz email said Abena's ceasing production of its plastic-backed diapers. Anyone believe them this time??
  2. I'm wearing a Tena Slip Active Fit Maxi for the first time, and I think I prefer it to the classic Tena Slip Maxi. They feel similar, both dry and wet. The difference for me is fit: I always had trouble squeezing into the TSM (I loved those diapers btw), but the TSAFM fits me absolutely perfectly. Can't wait to wear more.
  3. I've got a couple questions about the Rearz store:1. Do they have a changing room? (I'm assuming yes.)2. If yes, is it kosher to change diapers in it? Or is it strictly for clothing?I'm trying to figure out once and for all if I'm a M or a L in Rearz diapers. I
  4. Both. There's also a mental health component: diapers do more to help with my anxiety than antidepressants. When I'm anxious, I tend to wear a lot.
  5. Question. I tried these once before and the medium hardly fit. I wear medium in almost anything, diapers included (the M4 is my go-to diaper; it fits me perfectly). Should I be trying these a size up? Asking because I really wanna try Seductions, which are the same fit.
  6. What he said. I use Glen Erin for "regular" diapers, but they've become an unexpected great source for AB diapers as well.
  7. I grew up wearing cloth diapers - BUT, in addition to being put into disposables during a hospital stay, I remember feeling jealous of kids who got to wear Pampers. So now I wear disposables because I decide the sorts of diapers I wear!
  8. I've been wearing for thirteen years, and the feeling of wetting a brand-new diaper's still one of the best things on earth. For me, there's nothing like wearing a thick, disposable diaper (preferably an M4) and wetting it until I'm struggling to walk straight.
  9. Abena M4. It's pretty much the only diaper I wear these days.
  10. Have any of you gone diaper shopping in South America--specifically in Ecuador or Colombia? I'm headed there in a few weeks and was thinking of taking a look see.
  11. M4. I was in a Rearz Inspire+ InControl earlier this evening, but the tapes started coming undone and I was missing the feel of an M4. So here we are now.
  12. My first memory period is of having to wear diapers when I was hospitalized at age three. I'd recently been potty trained and was naturally horrified to be put back in diapers - but I soon grew to love wearing them, and was upset when I had to stop. After that it's of stealing my baby cousin's diapers and wearing them whenever we visited my aunt and uncle's house. Suffice to say I knew very early on I loved diapers!
  13. 1. DL 2. None 3. OCD, which is currently in remission (although I should mention I had a lapse last week--it was literally my first time experiencing symptoms in three months). I take medication for it, but the best way of alleviating the symptoms is...diapers
  14. I'll be upset if the M4 gets discontinued. However, and at the risk of committing heresy, I like the M4 Air Plus almost as much. They're especially handy when discretion's in order. If that's the direction Abena ends up going I won't be devastated, although it'd mean making the 24/7 my go-do diaper.
  15. I ordered a single 24/7 sample a couple months ago, tried it, didn't like it, and thought that was it for me as far as 24/7s go...and then a few weeks ago had a sudden urge to try them again, and this time ordered an entire bag. And this time I'm loving them. The mediums are a bit big on me and I've had the same sagging issue a few of you have had (although I don't really see it as an issue since I actually enjoy my diapers sagging, especially under jeans). They're big, they're comfortable, and I love the fact they're all-white. I just found out I've got the place to myself this weekend and I'll be going through a lot of 24/7s this weekend while my roommate's away!
  16. I think M4s are worth $12 more per bag than Molicare Super Pluses. btw, since you're in Canada, get yourself a credit card and order your diapers from Age Comfort. Their service is great and their shipping's free if you spend $50 or more.
  17. Oh, for sure. I've got a few medical supply stores close by and absolutely love buying my diapers over the counter. One of the stores doesn't have a showroom: they keep everything in the back. I didn't know that the first time I went there, and it ended with me having to specifically request they bring me a bag of M4s. The next time, which was for buying M4 Air Pluses, the girl actually recognized me from my previous visit. That had me briefly worried; now I think it's kinda cool
  18. I have OCD, and in the past few years I've realized that diapers really help to alleviate (and in some cases take away completely) my worst symptoms. They were especially helpful when I went off antidepressants last fall. In fact, since then, I've gone from being a very occasional DL to wearing almost every day--at one point I went 24/5, which is by far the longest I've been continually diapered--and while I still experience OCD symptoms they're virtually non-existent when I'm wearing. I'm not sure that's totally a good thing, but I do know it's a helluva lot better than being on Seroquel.
  19. I got sick when I was three and had to spend two months in the hospital. I was bedridden, and had to wear diapers; in fact, the very first thing I remember anyone ever saying to me was a nurse explaining what they were doing while they were diapering me. I grew to enjoy them, and later I began stealing my baby cousin's diapers whenever we'd visit my aunt and uncle. Eventually I was caught and it wasn't till my early twenties that I revisited my fascination with diapers. I wore my first adult diapers at age twenty-three. The most recent time I wore was...well, I'm wearing right now, and for the past few months, since coming out to my roommate and realizing that diapers are a major stress reliever for me, I've worn almost every single day. I now have a diaper drawer full of M4s and Tena Slip Maxis.
  20. A Yahoo search, most likely. But in 2004, when I was starting to realize I was sexually attracted to diapers, I found DPF (among other sites) and discovered that being ABDL was an actual "thing." I'd hate to think what that process would've been like pre-internet.
  21. Anyone else tried these? I'm wearing one right now. I've been wetting it constantly for almost five hours and it's still nowhere near being full. I was given a free sample last week at Rearz, and if I were a betting man I'd wager they'll be selling me a bag very shortly.
  22. Well, I did it! And for the most part it was a successful experiment.
