I drive a '96 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I have also owned a 1985 Chevrolet K-5 Blazer and a 1972 Dodge Charger.

The charger ran fine had a couple of rare options but it had been sitting 5 years and had a dent in the driver's front fender and the cloth top needed to be replaced. I gave it away after owning it only two days. I found out a day later that it was worth $3,000.00 in the condition it was in...I GAVE it away! I found a way to literally kick myself after that.

:mf_microwave:

Now I know to find out the value of something before you give it away.

I has a well modified, red 96 Ford Mustang GT that makes me wet my diapers when the throttle's open, and a 02 Lincoln LS I drive daily. The backseat in the Licoln is plenty big for emergency diaper changes, the mustang, not so much:)

I drive a 2001 oldsmobile alero. It's black and I just put chrome on all four fenders and I must say now it looks pretty cool! I just went to Las Vegas with my brother to watch him race, and now I can't wait to get my car down there to race it! :drive1: I also had to have a kick-ass sound system so I had two 12" pheonix gold sub woofers, a 500 watt pheonix gold amp ( they tend to pump out more watts then they are rated for), plus I replaced all the speakers in the cab and put an amp on them. I drive by at night and wake up all the old folks and farm animals in my small town!

What do I have?

A P.O.S. 89' Toyota Camry which runs good, though the locks and ignition need to be replaced because I don't admire the idea of having two different keys just to operate my car (as well the door locks are rusted and require finesse just to open.) it also needs a new radio since its completely lacking one, new seats since the cloth is ripped on all the seats, a new spedometer since it doesn't pick up until I'm going 20, and a new paint job since I friggen hate white.

What would I rather have?

A 1997 Mazda RX7 FD3S Type R, Dual Rotary with turbo. Cause god damn I love Mazda. Either that or a Mazda 3 Series sedan, nothing wrong with those either.

Hell I could even go with a Integra, though thats technically a Honda car, but its the only FF I like.

I drive my 2005 Dodge Neon. It's a little girls car, but I love it. It gets great gas mileage and my roommates and I all fit comfortable when we go to class. I had the SRT-4 spoiler installed from the factory, along with a hidden exhaust. I'd like to get my JL W-7 in the trunk but I need a new CD player for that. And I will have to get a CD player that's compatible with my ipod video so I can listen to all my music. So until I find 280.00 dollars on the street then I am stuck with stock.

I still have my 1987 IROC-Z Camaro with the 350 TPI engine. Unfortunately, it's up for sale. This was my very first car. I straightened the entire body and painted the car myself. Her name was Erk, after my gilfriends nickname.

Other than the two cars, I have a 2003 Buell Firebolt XB9R. You can see it on my avatar. I absolutely love this bike. I was gonna get a Suzuki 600 for the speed but it doesn't even compare to the Buell when it comes to torque and handling. The sound and feel of the V-Twin while riding is addicting.

As for the vanity plates, I have never had one. My stepdad used to have one on his truck that read

"RU 8UP" but the state made another rule about having 8UP on a plate. I'd like to get the plate "I8A4RE" for my neon just for fun. If you can't make either of those out, the first one is "Are you ate up" and the second one is "I ate a Ferrari." Obviously, since I am driving a Neon, I would never be able to keep up with a totalled Ferrari being pulled by a truck. Oh well, life goes on. I'd love to have a 72 Chevelle SS or an older Corvette, but that's just wishful thinking.

Um...a 1972 Volkswagen Beetle, in case you hadn't noticed. I drive it to protest the government interfering in the auto industry by requiring emission control on new cars and the fact that no one can open the hood and work on cars themselves nowadays. I love working on my own cars, but with the new ones...

And for an "everyday" car, a Mercury station wagon that I can't even get to the rear spark plugs. I have to pay the dealer to service it--unlike the old Volksie! (But that Merc sure is comfortable and roomy)

Now Ford/Mercury stopped making those great wagons. Don't know what I'll do when I'm ready for another car. I don't want an SUV or a minivan. They use too much gas. My wagon has tons of room and still gets great gas mileage.

I drive a 1999 Nissan Maxima. It is a salvaged title and it runs good. Has under 100,000 thousand miles. Close to 95,000 thousand now. My parents bought it for $9,000. I had to pay $1,000 for it. I have my name on my lisence plate too but it has expired and in process of trying to get my lisence plates transferred here to Oregon.

1984 Mercedes 300D

I love diesels!

I was wondering what type of car people here drive?

As personally i like cars and have owned over 20 in the past 8yrs........

At the moment ive got a clapped out ford escort estate(station wagon in the U.S. i think), and i have a rover 620 i think is almost unique to the uk or europe any way......

Also i was looking at personal numberplates for sale and came accross this,

PL 55 YDL wich in the UK you could manipulate to read "PI55Y DL"

and it only cost £495(about $620), would you buy it for your car?

Just a bit of fun i know, but wondered what others thought of it tho????

Tj........ :D

I own a 2007 Nissan Titan, a 79 Chevy K20 that is my off road project, and a 2003 Honda Superhawk 996 that I daily drive for gasoline savings.

I also own a 2007 Yamaha Wr450 dirt bike, an 86 Kawasaki 550 jet ski that is in the process of being repainted.

And my favorite of all of my toys, my 1979 Miller Jet boat with a full roller 454 She only does 75 or 80 in the water, but she'll get you there in about 3 seconds. :)

Since I was 16, I am now 25 I have owned 23 "vehicles" including boats, go carts, cars and trucks.

Ive owned a couple of cars in my time but ive never owned a licence

Last vehicle i drove was a left hand drive mitsi strada which i must say was a beaut to drive.

If i had the money i would how ever buy a Gran Torrino because i was a big starsky and hutch fan backin the day.

But as for number plates i dont think i would spend more than £100 on one but the best ones ive seen were on police cars that said

CXXX RAP :roflmao:
