Noisypants

Hi! I'm looking for some plastic pants that have 'diamond embossed'/textured plastic - like the old Gerber plastic pants or the Pampers from the 70's - does anyone know where I can find them? Thanks!

I got my latest case a week or so ago, and I've noticed that the plastic backing is definately more noisy. It seems just a little bit thicker and they crinkle like Depends now and the plastic has more of a matte finish and not quite as shiny. The tapes come off without ripping the plastic. (yay!!) They also seem a little longer in the front and the back. I hope this isn't a temporary change, I'm liking it! Anyone else seeing this?

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some suggestions on plastic pants. I want to get some basic white terry or flannel lined pull on plastic pants for daytime use that I can wear to work. My GF has been threatening me with making me wear diapers to work but I just feel like it isn't an option so I'm looking for alternatives. Pull ons are my first choice but snap ons would be fine as well. I work in an office and my Attends would be (unfortunately) a little too noisy and bulky under dress slacks : ( I hate having to wait to get home to get back into my diapers, so I'm thinking about going this route. I did some looking around but didn't come up with anything that was what I was looking for, most of the plastic pants out there are just plastic without any liner, which would be too hot and clammy to wear all day long. Any suggestions on where to order them from and are they a reliable source? Another question - anyone out there that works in an office that wears pull on underwear like the depends or Attends? Are they bulky? I figure the noise won't be a factor because the are cloth covered but this is another option I've been thinking about. Thanks!

I usually wear an Attends or an Abena X-Plus and a onesie. I like the way the snap crotch T's make the diapers feel more snug. Onesies are great wearing out as well, I'm never nervous if my shirt pulls up if I'm bending over.

I just lay a towel down on my bed when I change, mostly to keep the powder from getting on my bedspread. Then again, I just wet, no messing.

Like the old style Pampers? Ambeze used to make a great crinkly Pampers style wingfold but they are nearly impossible to find these days. I've tired Surecares but they aren't as big and much less absorbent. Newer diapers hold more and are much better at preventing leaks but I find wingfolds were so much more comfortable.

Attends during the day and X Plus for overnight diapers.

My GF and I went to Babies R Us and we looked at Diaper Genies but we both agreed that it was too small and it would fill up too quickly. We're going shopping tomorrow for some sort of a Rubbermaid covered wastebasket kind of a thing for the closet.

I always use powder when I change. I'm a Johnsons and Johnson's guy. Does Diaper Fresh *really* smell like Pampers? Has anyone here tried it? I love the smell of the original Pampers - it would be cool to have a scent that truly makes diapers smell like that.

I'd really love to be a ski instructor - skiing is truly my only passion! I like playing drums but skiing is just what I do. If it only paid better, but I know what I'm going to be doing when I retire! I came *this* close to moving out to CO to do the ski instructor thing a few years back but I ended up staying on the right coast doing IT stuff. Sometimes wonder what it would have been like....

Hey everyone - I got an offer today!!!! They were supposed to call me by Friday but they liked me so they made me an offer this morning... Ummm..... so I accepted! Hahahaha! Yay!!! Thank goodness. I've been really going stir crazy hanging out at home all day. Plenty of time to practice drums though! I've been in diapers the entire time so that's been cool but to be honest, I've really been going through them. I've gotten to be quite the expert at changing myself, I was thinking this week - boy, it's just lay down, powder, tape up and you're done - it has become routine. I'm happy I'm going to be employed but I'm going to miss being in diapers all the time. Guess it's get home from work and right back into them instead of all day. I hate having to take them off in the morning....

I'm a drummer, I play out every weekend and we've got a pretty good following. Classic rock stuff - Joe Walsh, Doobies, Badfinger, Cars, Wild Cherry, Nickelback, SRV, etc. I've been playing for 15+ years, we're going into the studio in December to do a demo CD. I also play a bit of guitar but drums come first. LOL @ Solcal.... Pipsqueak, you're a drummer!!!? A pic from a fair that we opened a month or so ago....

Actually, I thought it went well! Ran about an hour but it went very smooth and I never felt like I was stumbling or searching for an answer. Low pressure, only two people (the last round of interviews I went on, there were 5 people interviewing me. Felt like the inquisition.) and it was mostly informational and not a psych examination. Anyways, they are going to give me a call by Friday to let me know. I'm excited! Cool!
