  4. I use Vaseline (or any other petroleum jelly) between my diaper & thighs. This prevents friction burns from happening during my day
  5. I've been looking for tunnel plugs for the same reason. It's why I want to "un-potty train" first Haven't pulled the trigger on one, though. Does it make pooping completely uncontrollable? Poop doesn't get stuck to the inside of tube? Here's my most recent attempt to get all that evil out;;

  7. Hi everyone. I'm having a dilemma. I have thicker thighs & thus the infamous "chub rub" whilst walking, standing, running, etc. This creates a problem for my diapers. It essentially severely bottlenecks the lower part, & causes leaks. But this is with the thinner, more discreet diapers. So my question is more directed toward those whose inner thighs rub together. Are there certain diapers you prefer that still allow for liquid to absorb to the rear of the diaper? Do you think a "waddle cut" dip is a better route to go?

  9. Comfort. Pure & simple. When I wear, it allows my adult mindset to decompress & lull into a state where I dont have to worry about my responsibilities for a while. Having a tight diaper around my waist with the padding underneath me gives me a sense of security. It tells me everything will be ok, & it allows me to regroup mentally & emotionally. If I could wear 24/7, I genuinely believe life would be better is so many various facets of my life

I was mostly considering ABU, as I believe they're local to me here in Washington state, but if Rearz works good for you, then I'm sure they'll be good for me. Thanks for the suggestion?
  11. Hi everyone! I'm somewhat new to the DL lifestyle & am curious what you thicker thighed people prefer? Just for reference (& really not to brag), I'm a 240lb muscular build guy who powerlifts & has a squat/deadlift over 400 lbs. I only recently returned from overseas where my only option was Tena Slip Supremes. Decent, but due to how thin they were, my thighs always seemed to crush the groin section to the point where pee couldn't travel to the rear section of the diaper, leaked bad, & I still got a bit of that "chub rub". Any suggestions on diapers with a thick bottom area?
  12. That's fantastic! Both that you had the courage to tell her, AND that she's accepting of it. I'm still building up the courage to tell my wife about my wearing. Mine is more for a comfort thing than just fun, though. But whatever the reason, I know I need to tell her, & I can only hope she's as accepting as your girlfriend. Congrats to you! And as others.have said, take things slow & don't make the situation awkward. When you wear, just wear as if it's just a normal pair of underwear
  13. This, by far, is my biggest gripe with tena. I pretty much have to readjust at least once, but it completely runs the fit because the fuzz get pulled up with the tabs. More than a few times I've had wet thighs because the legs couldn't seal anymore & move the wetness to the back of the diaper. Sucks, because Tena is the best available to me right now?
  14. I always fluff now. When I first started wearing, I knew nothing about it. But now that I know, there's no going back. The method of fluffing is subjective, but I lightly pull at numerous angles, so as to spread the padding evenly. I typically don't crease like many others, since once I start walking around, it creases itself. I've found it disperses wetness much quicker, bit the total absorbency amount remains the same no matter what. Just experiment & find what works for you & enjoy the padded tooshie?
  15. Happened just last week. Had my first legitimate mess. I hadn't been able to go #2 for a couple days prior, so my system was obviously backed up a bit. I had just changed my diaper about an hour prior, as I had done my usual morning pee while getting my tea ready & doing some low level wake up squats & lunges. I was quite gassy all morning, but thought nothing of it, since I had been that way the entire day prior. I was getting around to my 2nd mug of tea & decided I was also going to make me a couple peanut butter & honey sandwiches, & throw on some Darkwing Duck on the tv. After my first sandwich, my tummy started rumbling something fierce. I figured it was just more gas, so I didn't give it a 2nd thought & started on the next sandwich. Well, as the saying goes, especially if it's been a few days of not pooping, "never trust a fart". I let the toot go & got the immediate sense of it being more that air that would be coming out. So I sat up off the couch, squatted down, & let my body do its thing. Surprisingly i had to push very little, & I could physically feel the soft weight leaving my body & going into my diaper. It was almost euphoric. Both the sensation of finally pooping, & having finally done a full poo in my diaper. After I finished, I kneeled down & finished eating. I felt unbelievably little! PB & honey sandwich, morning cartoons, & a messy diaper ?!! After I finished eating, I waddled my way to the kitchen, threw my plate in the sink, then went to the bathroom to clean up. Can i just mention the obvious of how important side guards are? Because were it not for those, this guy would've definitely had a blowout. The diaper was completely full! It has taken me a couple months for my brain to let my body go #2 in a diaper. Usually I would have had to push for a few minutes, only to get a small return on my efforts. So I'm hoping this occurrence told my brain that it's ok to use a diaper for all it's intended purposes.
  16. I did a shoulder workout last week, diapered. Didn't phase me one bit. If anything, I might have been able to push out an extra rep or 2 because of the nervous/devious feeling of being caught padded. I'll probably start wearing more often, except for leg days. Especially if squatting, I'd have 0% chance of wearing discreetly. I think working out padded is fun. Plus, I always need to poop by the time I get home. So I mess while finishing my protein shake, then jump into the shower. The routine works surprisingly well for me

  18. So tonight I had (what i believe was) a fairly big milestone since being back in diapers for only a week & jumping right in by wearing 24/7. While laying on the couch watching tv, I began having the urge to pee. The strength waned for a good 10 minutes which was quite annoying because all week the urges would get strong, but then go away because my mind would allow my body to relax enough while laying down. But shortly after, I felt a big surge, so I decided to help by giving a little push & out it went! It felt amazing! I have been trying to get myself to wet while laying down since I began this diaper journey, & I thought this was a big milestone in my goals of bedwetting & eventual diaper dependency. Especially for it only having been one week. I now know what everyone is talking about when they say untraining is all about the mindset. Even though I always told myself it was ok to relax & let go, I guess I wasn't genuinely convincing my mind of it, thus it stonewalling me. In any case, I have to say I'm pretty happy right now. I know it's just a baby step (heehee, wordplay), but progress is progress. What are some of your earliest accomplishments that you remember? How easy/difficult were they to achieve? How long did they take to achieve? Did you ever regress & have to achieve that goal again?

  20. I just started wearing diapers last week. I can't say for certain if it's because of my compounding life stress (I've always had an inner little, but have suppressed it my entire life), but I've rationalized that it is. I'm away from my newly wed wife, in Kuwait, maintaining life here for work as well as sustaining responsibilities back home, etc. When stress has become too much, I've always gravitated towards diaper wearing. The difference is before I'd wear for a day or 2 & be over it. This time however, I've been wearing nearly 24/7 for a week straight. And I dont plan to stop any time soon. In fact, I'm thinking I want to work on becoming diaper dependent/incontinent. It's clear I'll never be rid of this need, so I might as well make it as authentic a life decision as possible

  23. Lately, mine have been relatively soft. Not runny, but more closely resembling a pudding texture. I only recently restarted to diaper, & felt confident I wouldn't mess. But my stomach has been upset the past few days, & when the sensation came, I knew I'd never make it to the toilet. So I've just been squatting & letting it fill my diaper. It was strange at first, but the more I do it, the more it feels right
  24. Thank you! So far they've held up pretty well. Though I'll keep a lookout for more popular abdl brands. White is pretty boring?. I might just have to stock up whenever I travel. I must say, towels wrapped in plastic bags sounds like the stuff diaper nightmares are made of. I don't imagine they were very breathable?. Thank you for the warm welcome. Again, it feels good to know I'm not alone in this?
