Congrats on the weight loss, my sister did the jab thing and lost plenty too. Being a bit on the portly side i am trying to lose also, seems hard now i have hit the big 6-0, but trying to do it with willpower at the mo'. I once purchased some large disposables by accident (usually in mediums), I thought they would be ok but had trouble with them as they proved leaky, the size difference was huge around the leg and they moved about too much. Be interested whether you find also that as you lose the pounds. Seemed counter-intuitive that larger with more real-estate and capacity would actually be worse due to fit...

Man thats a tricky situation all around with loved ones. You all have my respect, its not easy waters to navigate. As a singleton I fortunately can do whatever, but it has been at a large cost which just gets larger as you get older.....

Much like the cake, the AC is a lie Yeah we don't have that, not for the 1 week a year it might be like this, generally its just not worth it. Though when it was 40 a year or two ago for a week or two it was pretty nasty, maybe in winter i'll buy a portable unit...ready for next year

Proper downtime is good, having just had two weeks off for my summer holidays combined with birthday this I can attest. Our company is hot on that sort of thing and generally only in emergencies would call, they like us to be refreshed and happy. In return we go the extra mile for them too... Of course I am in IT support and not sales, were I a salesman I assume keeping tabs on "hot leads" or clients that need a bit of extra care would be more a priority especially if sales are incentive based... As an aside just hit a heatwave here in the uk, been hot but is gonna be 35-40 over the next day or two, nappies are less "fun" and i have found myself going to multiple pull ups instead during the day...

I don't yet have a tumble drier, so even with my limited use of terry nappy covers its a nightmare to dry them. They are double lined so take an age to dry without external influence. Don't have the issues with supply so still use disposables day to day with the terry cover for overnight. Going to buy one this week though, heard that they make all your towels and such nice and fluffy when they come out, as opposed to the crispy stuff I get with radiator or line drying, looking forward to that. Currently here in Bristol uk, in the height of "flaming June" it hit a mighty 24 degrees and rained yesterday, so broadly similar lol

The pee dream is an odd beast, I used to get them and they were all basically the same, me desperate for a wee and unable to find a toilet. Usually anytime i thought i had found one the walls would turn transparent or someone from my work would turn up. Since being 24/7 those have faded and I don't get them any more, what probably has replaced them is a rise from deep slumber for my brain to wake enough to grant permission to just let go. I do recall these annoying interruptions most nights. In a surprise turnup this morning, I awoke with no memory of waking in the night and with a wetter nappy and empty bladder. It was lovely, first one of those for ages, more please. I can give a hearty +1 to a terry cover over a disposable overnight, works a treat. Tried all terry and couldn't get on with it though, probably lack of wrapping talent and suitable cover.

Saw your post and all I can think is Dirty Dancing ? OLD? what? I'm still convinced the 80's were only 10 or 20 years ago... werent they? In a similar vein for the song Summer of '69 by Bryan Adams, we are closer to 2069 than 1969 now....
