  1. Depending on where the arteries in question are located, it might be possible to use an enzyme called lipase to dissolve the fats just in the affected area and then remove the enzyme along with the dissolved fats. This would obviously need to be considered by an expert first, but given the situation, it may be the safest option.
  2. Didn't those used to have at least 3 or 4 designs like that around 2016 or so? I remember seeing something like that but with other animals as well.
  3. There's also any number of re-tail stores the cat could go to as well.
  4. I win; apparently all of the other fireflies have already gone into hibernation.
  5. I can't make a comparison there because @waterfallhasn't posted anything yet. If you drop a piano down a mineshaft and it strikes an A flat minor, what chord would it strike if you drop it down an elevator shaft?
  6. Meal kits are another thing I will never invest in. "Let's charge people resteraunt price for a meal they have to prepare and cook themselves and provide their own pots/pans/silverware/etc and do their own dishes" There's a reason why going out to eat is somewhat expensive; they do all of that work for you.
  7. Why do so many people not stop at red lights and stop signs when they're supposed to? Because they don't want to "brake" their car!
  8. And yet people are worried about China, Russia, Israel, etc having too much access to their personal information. Well shit, that wasn't a problem until people started trying to digitize everything. Quite a stupid problem to have. P.S. Most resteraunts will still give you a paper menu if you ask for one.
  9. And yet you don't typically hear Hindus complaining whenever someone says "Holy cow!"
  10. A few things you should know when buying a new computer: * RAM is a measure of the computer's durability, usually measured in GB (gigantic bonks). At least in theory; 1 GB is usually sufficient to break most devices. * Don't fall for a subcription to EMAIL (Electronic Massacure of Arbitrary Information on your Leisure time). Otherwise, you'll have no leisure time left! * For optimal security, use a detonator virus on any hacker who tries to compromise your device. Typically, these work by igniting the offending device's battery or making it backfeed current into the outlet, causing short circuits. Very effective. * Finally, optical drives are typically best for data back-ups as the computer can actually see what it's doing.
  11. A local thrift store might have one, otherwise buying a used one is probably your best bet. Don't forget to dispose of the broken one properly with it being e-waste and whatnot.
  12. There are a number of youtubers who do something similar but without the animation. Although an official show like that seems promising. Some vanilla people might like it for the "rediculousness" aspect as well, given that shows like Futurama are a thing. You might be on to something.
  13. How many professional engineers does it take to vacuum the floor? Three. One to forget to plug it in. One to forget to turn it on. And of course one to run the vacuum over some loose twine and get the brushes jammed up. The janitor would then have to explain that that is not the correct procedure for cleaning the floor; surely a professional would know that?
  14. At least you don't have to put up with an 1885-era ice maker.
  15. This would be interesting to see given that much of the community seems to have an interest in that show.
  16. Only if it was made from hops that can jump particularily high. Where is the nearest whatchamacallit?
  17. I thought one used Floo powder to do that?
  18. In that case you could just pull the parachute early. That would be cool.
  19. Has anyone here ever done this before? It sounds like it would be really cool for those with a fursona that can fly. Only thing I don't understand is why the need for 200 free fall skydives before being allowed to use a wingsuit. If you have a regular parachute equipped anyway, and would normally deploy it for landing, you should be fine. Anyhow, I thought this would be something of intetest to folks here. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wingsuit_flying
  20. I blame the world's problems on Minecraft. Whenever you exit the game it says "saving world", so that must mean it's corrupting the real one, right?
  21. Don't forget to brush your butt.
  22. If so, that advertiser should be reported.
  23. People didn't respond to reason regarding the state of our climate and consumerism so a different approach was obviously necessary.
  24. "Inflation" is just people/governments starting to realize that we're not going to have a planet anymore with the way we're wasting resources. Most likely they've concluded the best way to fix this is to set prices much higher so that people will only buy things that they actually need or *really* want. As much as people complain about "inflation" it's still a lot better than not having a planet anymore and still allows for some freedom of choice (ie someone can skimp on the amount of driving they do to afford diapers, or give up diapers so they can travel more, or make any other such decisions).
  25. Some gardening advice: If you're growing dollar bills please be aware that when mature, all cash will inflate, eventually growing enough helium to uproot the whole plant. Also if you're growing flash drive vines or HDD (hard disk drive) shrubs, for the love of pete, please keep mosquitoes away from those plants to avoid viruses. And of course, pizzas need to be steamed for a couple hours after the harvest; they're quite dry right off the plant.
