  1. Thanks DD. Next time I see him I'll ask about it. Really like the idea that it heals the esophagus. I already have Barretts so healing would be good. @LittleChristine I've tried both of those and use the Pepcid more when I need extra help getting rid of the discomfort. I'd rather get it through my ins. because I get 90 days worth for $5. So going through my doctor would be the cheapest. I probably have most if not all acid reflux meds in the house except for Protonix.
  2. I feel your pain DD. I've had it since 2002. My ins. pays for generic Prilosec which means I'm taking a placebo because it does no good. I try to keep my food portions small and take other meds to help. I think everyone knows that if it stays bad it can lead to esophageal cancer. My nephew, whose doctor I used to have, took too long before sending him to a gastroenterologist. By the time he was diagnosed he had stage 4. Only lived about 2 years. A very bad way to go out. I wish you the best.
  3. I didn't drink a pot of coffee like I normally do so my number is 2. Otherwise it would have been 3.
  4. Hello and welcome Mommyabdl! The mommies we have here are wonderful but it's always good to see a new one. Getting your degree will only make you better for dealing with us who love to wear our diapers.
  5. You can type out a million pages of text but it doesn't mean a thing. It all comes down to what you believe. You believe one thing and I believe another. I also meant in the faith context not the can or cannot fly context.
  6. We all believe what we want to believe and none of us are wrong.
  7. And of course nothing better than an up skirt diaper pic. Very nice
  8. I love this pic! Just the right amount of diaper showing.
  9. Back in the day when AT, AC and radios were options on a car.
  10. I'm like a lot of the dl's who have posted. We don't have to wear so it's a little different for us. If someone we knew noticed AND said something then we would have to have a reason handy or just be rude and tell them it's none of their business. When I was younger and wore a diaper out of the house I was very paranoid that it could be seen for sure. Now that I'm older and at that age when it's more common to have incontinence issues I feel less nervous about being noticed. I do wear a pair of jeans that are a size bigger than I normally wear so that the outline of my diaper is less obvious.

Thanks dl. I know it's the same as a BetterDry but it seemed to hold more.

  14. If I actually get the chance to wear for 4 or 5 days in a row and then go to just underwear I have the feeling of needing to go. There is usually a little that comes out but not as much as normal. I have excellent control 99% of the time but it's just for several hours after stopping diapers that it happens. I'm guessing most people would have some of the same feelings or it could just be me.
  15. I used to have a lot of back trouble so it may have helped me but I never new about the device until someone talked about it on DD. I eventually went to therapy and it got me back to normal so I don't need it anymore.
  16. I've thought of trying a Tens unit but I'm just a little concerned about any side affects I may produce. Mr. Urge Incontinent you sound like you know what you're talking about so I'll probably leave well enough alone.
  17. I'd take those gifts over anything else fixitboy. I'm betting you would like more of the same this Christmas.
  18. You would have to make him aware that diapers are not the only reason you are together. My wife will diaper me now but we've come to an understanding that she has to receive some special attention too. It can't be a one way street.
  19. I've never used an Estim device but it sounds a lot like a Tens unit which I've never used either. With that being said, where on your thigh did you have the pads positioned? I've heard of people attaching them near the bladder to get uncontrolled wetting but not sure how well it works or if it's safe.
