  1. I think a big thing is making layers of safety. I'm also from the NYC/NJ area, in the cities and towns that were hit the hardest at first. I'm also an essential retail worker who worked 60+ hours a week during this crisis and I'm so happy to I wasn't one of the many who was put out due to a positive test nor full-on Covid. Every retailer has plexiglass or curtains, as well as manditory mask law. We only just recently reopened indoor dining to partial capacity. Think layers of safety like cheese: Every barrier has holes, but combine all/some of the barriers together and the holes won't all line up. Here's some examples: Social distancing: Sometimes it's easy (stand on the dot), and sometimes it's impossible (don't go to Ikea right now, seriously.) Masks: Reduce particles being spread. Some people wear them right, and some are just maskholes. Not 100% Effective, but better than nothing at all. Plexiglass, curtains, or face shields: As stated before, air moves and will go around the barriers, but it's another layer WITH masks to prevent spray on both ends. I have some coworkers who wear face shields while behind plexiglass. Wash your Hands: I wear a pin with this. This prevents most illnesses from getting into soft tissue (eyes, ears, nose). Some people like to wear gloves, but gloves are only good if you treat them as if they were covered in paint. (I hate it when people get mad that I touched their things, then fix their reading glasses while texting with gloves.)
  2. Exactly as it sounds. Recently I've been on a higher fiber diet (doctor prescribed) and noticed a distinct difference when I'm padded or not. When wearing either a diaper or pull up, I find that I make smaller messes, but more of them. I don't like to push hard as that could trigger a hemorrhoid or other issues. I have tried different positions (standing, sitting, squatting, etc.) and noticed no difference personally. I do ensure there is plenty of room in my padding to contain a mess, so it's not from a lack of space either. When using the restroom as normal (I do during work) I find that I'll have a larger mess, and nothing for another day or so. Does this happen to anyone else? It seems unusual, but probably not?
  3. Today was a double day mostly because if I'm wearing a pullup it can be difficult to gently and naturally void it all (I don't want to strain too hard) After lunch I had this immediate urge, but was still wearing my Good Nites from work that morning. I intended to shower soon anyways, so what the heck, right? I found myself with a huge mess all the way up the back within seconds. Cleanup, shower, get on with life, and fast forward 4 or so hours, and at this point I'm doing dishes. Wave two came around and barely required any force to load up the seat of my Bambino Belissimos. I wish I could have enjoyed it more, but it was for the best that I changed into a Molicare Slip for the evening; Not a half hour later an Amazon driver was knocking at my door! That would have been embarrassing! (They don't like to leave packages, my house numbers are not too visible)
  4. So I've found that pull ups will never hold more than one full wetting for me (Like waking up in the morning and just letting go). My go-to however are Good Nites and Always Discreet. I haven't tried to put a booster pad into either of them to up the absorbancy, as they don't have very high leak guards and that's a concern. That said, I also want to second that a good pair of plastic pants will prevent any sort of accidents the pull up itself may have.
  5. For years I've been drifting further and further into AB territory. If you asked me some 10 years ago, I would have told you DL all the way 100%. I only want to wear and wet. Fast forward to 5 years back, and I'd say that I wear, wet, mess, and occasionally like onesies and maybe a pacifier or two. Lets clock forward again to the modern day. I wear 24/7, have 4 onesies and 5 pairs of little shortalls/skirtalls, cute socks, a dozen pacis, bottles, and lets not count the number of diapers, diaper covers, and plastic pants now in my house. One of my play partners is into DD/lg, so even that offset the balance a bit.
  6. When and if I have a monster load, it's that semi-soft oatmeal kind of consistency. There's a weight to it, but it's very squishy/movable and would be the most dangerous blow-out kind. Like you said, it always seems to start in the back, filling as high as it can go before changing directions and filling the entire front as well.
  7. Not me personally, but I've heard for a lot of people (especially the toilet-training age) that running water like a tap faucet can help things along. That sounds in the right vein for the story to me.
  8. Almost all of it was in my head up until my 20's. I didn't know this was a thing, and honestly just thought I was weird and needed to forget about it. Other things I was interested in (Such as BDSM) were becoming more commonplace, and even other fetishes were coming to light (foodies, tentacles, foodies, etc). I was also into illustration, anime and hentai, and still didn't know about ABDL. Then I stumbled upon Riley on a TV show, and realized someone else was out there. I took to the internet and broke my brain in college. THERE ARE SO MANY OF US. I bought cruddy store disposables in my early 20's, and by mid 20's started to buy and use ABDL disposables. Now I'm pretty much 24/7 wearing (though not incontinent at this point) and in the last 2-3 months becoming more little/baby. I'm super accepting of this shift in life and really couldn't be happier with it.
  9. I'm also in my 30's, so I'm not sure what products were one the market at the time. I was premature, and to quote my family "All you were ingesting was liquid for months", so cloth it was. I don't know if this was cloth with plastic pants or cloth with a cloth diaper cover? It's never come up in conversation, but I do know my old diapers are now work rags at my parents place!
  10. I was so lucky that I was starting a 24/7 diaper life at the time this took place, because otherwise would have been a disaster: I was home from work and wasn't feeling well, something was just off in my stomach. Didn't eat breakfast, just drank some water, the whole deal. Figured it was some kind of food poisoning (I think I woke up feverish in the middle of the night, I'm not sure.) Fast forward to about 10am when I have worse cramps than I had all morning. I've tried to use the restroom all morning with nothing happening, so I figure lets go repeat the process. I stand up and in that process clearly gave my body the jump start it needed. I filled the entire rear of the diaper with poop, to the point that it ran out of room and started up the front. On top of being glad I was diapered, I'm glad I was home because that was just an absolutely disgusting smell on top of everything.
  11. This morning. At urge of my play partners and dynamic, I've been getting back into my health (to prep for an upcoming minor surgery) and it's coming with some...Unexpected side effects. I was playing some group content in an MMO and the urge hit without warning. All I had to do was lift my rear slightly off the chair and I filled the back and front with soft poop. Oh was cleanup a nightmare...
  12. I prefer disposable just because I like to wet of have accidents in my trainers, and with cloth it's a whole process to launder them. I either wear Goodnites or Always discreet, though I prefer Goodnites. They have that young underwear pattern, and Always just feels like women's undies (which is their demographic of course). I had a pair of trainers from BabyPants, I loved them but they have little/no stretch to them. I was always on the cusp with them and when I gained a very slight bit they were just too hard to pull on. I am the same as you when it comes to using trainers. I'll wet either of them in play or just at home (On the couch, watching a show you don't want to pause? Oops, someone had an accident!) And when out on little adventures with my partners it can be part of the game/dynamic. But I never messed washables. That's just too much cleaning, and then I'd probably be sad about the stains- At least disposables can be removed and tossed, then wiped and/or showered up. I do mess disposable trainers...a lot.
  13. I so wish I could do this! My hair just does not get along with baby hair products, which is kind of funny. I was also told if all else fails, use baby shampoo to fix up hair, but who knew? I do love the soaps and powders, and my skin especially loves how gentle baby lotions are (goodbye excema!) We also use Dreft on my little clothes to make them smell just right.
  14. I LOVE Dinorawrs, as well as the pink counterpart Bunny Hopps. They don't make much noise (which is great for going out in public for me) and hold a ton. They're also just so super soft on the inside. I also highly approve of the fit (Sometimes they just don't fit right, and this fits me as a female well). .
  15. I was never in this position as a little to a big, but I do sort of switch between two forms of little. Big sister and little sister. It is hard as HECK if I've gone into full on bratty diaper-wearing little sister to pull into anything else. When I go from the bigger of the two roles it's a lot easier to just put on a diaper and get way smaller. For context, I'm in a poly relation and part of the polycule is my Daddy-Dom and his girlfriend (my switch 'sister')
  16. It also depends on where in the USA. I'm from the New York, NYC area, and it's extremely common to carry a backpack anywhere. Since you're often traveling 1-2 hours away from your apartment for basics with no car, it makes perfect sense. You carry your own personal travel bag at all times. That said, I do have to add my few cents from working a supermarket in the same region. Teens are more likely to take items that fit in pockets (Lighters, condoms, candy, makeup, etc.) Adults are oddly enough more likely to put things in those large tote sized purses, leave items hidden inside/under other items, or simply just walk out with a whole cart of things. I've seen some pretty bold theft. I would imagine it's much more of a small store/convenience store thing to load up a bag and bolt, as they likely don't have Loss Prevention on their property as often as we do.
  17. I love them so much, I use them as covers over disposables (Because I can never clean a cloth diaper well) and I would get millions more!
  18. ABU Little Pawz for the morning, though it's already been soaked a few times. Once its fully loaded I'll change into either an Always Discrete or a pair of Goodnites for work.
  19. I've noticed this forum has gotten pretty quiet recently, So I thought I'd try out something new; Diaper chibis. She/he doesn't have a name, a story, a gender, nothing. Just an idea tosssed onto paper and inked/colored using Clip Studio Paint. Did two versions (clean and not), both in flat colors since I'm playing around still.Let me know what you think!
  20. Oh yeah, that could be super rough. We put on our uniforms at home (I rotate between a few shirts so can wash one every day) but I know that isn't an option for everyone.
  21. I thought about them on and off in my teen years and tried to just forget about it. It would be until I was 19-20ish that I went online and bought a case of Bambinos, under the guise that the box was for a friend of mine who didn't want it to be stolen from his apartment. (Put his name on the box and everything, was very careful of it). Then I chucked it in the car and unpacked it while everyone else was at work. Tried it when everyone was at work, loved it and found myself hooked.
  22. Being female and small has it's advantages: I can wear any of my solid or print onesies with a pair of jeans and sometimes a jacket without a second glance.
  23. Same! My partner and I are both supermarket folks. I wear 24/7 (pull ups for work that I don't wet/mess until leaving, and diapers when not at work used for everything else). so that habit hasn't really changed. Get changed into a pull up, work for the day, come home and shower, then diaper up for the evening, and change once more before bed (usually into a thinner diaper, I don't bed wet but do wet after breakfast before getting changed for work.
  24. While wearing diapers and little clothes, working on a coloring book or drinking from my bottle. The clothes are a big part of it for me.
  25. Totally psychological, gender doesn't matter in this instance! I have the same feeling.
