  1. Repaid - no, these leak guards are different from every other diaper.
  2. I've been using the both of the Seni styles from Xpmedical.
  3. In the future, just order online and have them delivered to a nearby Fedex store.
  4. the incontinence products in japan are a little bit confusing if you don't know what you are looking for.
  5. It's always such a strange feeling when you've found out someone you've lost touch with has passed away.
  6. Cloth-backed nappies could be the future in europe and usa.
  7. Well, if she's already been to a bunch of doctors and they can't give her an answer, I don't think you'll find a cure amongst this group.
  8. i've just bought a pack of tena flex super from asda.
  9. My philosophy in life is that as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else it's fine by me (and probably shouldn't even concern me anyway).
  10. I've always used incontinencechoice and haven't had any problems.
  11. in photos - female #3 is not a female.
  12. If you're looking for a substitute for "surger", or even "suger", you could try using "sugar" or I've find that even "shooga" works just as well! anyway, just kiddin'.

  14. Yeah, you would have to have a lot of money to order anything from that site. And, I have tried about 3 or 4 different japanese diaper brands and while they do have a unique tape system, they are all cloth backed, which, I find, tend to leak-through slightly if they are quite damp. I suppose if anyone orders something off the site they will let us know how it goes!
  15. I never ended up contacting abena about the issue. Though, I probably would've phoned xpmedical, where I ordered them from - let the middle man take care of it (that's what they are there for). I guess I didn't think it was that big of a deal because, as we have pointed out, when you order enough diapers you are bound to get some odd-balls in the batch. I just have a hunch that the SAP ran out in the last bag because the diapers definately felt wet when they were wet which doesn't usually happen with high quality diapers. And I think the SAP plays a role in that 'dry feel'. On top of that I ordered another case yesterday of the M2s. So it's not like I will switch brands. I recently switched from the molicare supers because of those lousy stretch tapes. So, we'll see if it was an isolated incident!
  16. But Sarah is right - if you're only in the Seattle for one night, why not stay in Seattle proper?
  17. I believe Dmavn is staying in Seatac before heading out on an Alaska cruise. If you order from xpmedical today, this morning, they will get there by thursday. Also, bambino/secureplus ships very quickly to Seattle. If you order today they will be there by Wednesday.
  18. Rakuten is the Japanese equivalent to Amazon. I'm not sure how much shipping is to the US but they do ship to the US! check it out - http://en.search.borderless.rakuten.com/medicine_nursing/care_welfare/incontinence_goods/
  19. I ordered a case of Abena M2 diapers and am down to the last bag. However, I have noticed the for some reason the diapers in the last bag are much less absorbent and even feel slightly thinner than the diapers in the rest of the bags. Is it possible that these diapers are missing some filling? Like maybe the machines they use to make them ran out of SAP or another material for a few rounds of diapers and these are the diapers that I received? Has anyone ever heard of something like this happening?
  20. My girlfriend really likes these and they do seem a bit absorbent than most other store pull-ups. With that said she also has a tiny bladder so diapers for her don't need to be very absorbent and she can get away wearing store brand diapers that wouldn't work for most of us. But, at over $1/brief, they are nearing the same price as premium diapers which are much better.
  21. on a slightly related note, i was helping my girlfriend's family move from one house to another - half of the boxes were old adult diaper boxes. neither of us realized this until halfway through the day - i guess you just don't pay that close of attention to the writing on a bunch of brown boxes. we both laughed about it later and wondered where they got all those boxes from - i mean, there were like 50 of them!
  22. They just don't make shows like they used to, Repaid. Netflix is great!
