  1. Hello Mo, I bought some of the scent you described from an online store (Diaperstation, ?? forget which). Anyway, it was fun. Your explanation of what you went through is instructive. I totally agree with the high level of criticism in the community. Not sure if thats more or less than the general population including myself, but it sure is true in our online groups. What do you mean by the comment, "I'm glad I don't have to deal with it anymore." Did you stop making it; sell the business; or... Hugs, Joey
  2. Yahoo news item: "Diet Changes Could Curb Bedwetting" http://news.yahoo.com/s/hsn/20060423/hl_hs...TlyBHNlYwMxNzAx Or go to Yahoo News: Health News: Parenting/Kids News
  3. My fav Canadian stop: www.foreverakid.com Another plus stop: http://www.babykins.com And here's something new for me: They have finally added online ordering for their adult sized products!! I've ordered from Marcie at foreverakid. Very good service. I plan to try babykins now.

I am not sure what you can mean by "tried numerous times to join these groups." Do you have trouble joining other Yahoo groups? You certainly would not be denied unless you are a minor. The age you show here at DailyDiapers suggests you should have no problem on that score. I am a member and encourage you to try again. All the MSN groups including our group mentioned by Sally will be closed by MSN in May. We are NOT migrating to the WorldGroups. We are going to rely on the Yahoo group until that becomes a problem (again). http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ARIZONACRITTERS/ email me at abdljoey@yahoo.com if you wish
  5. "i would like to hear from ...... some parents." I have three grown daughters. No way in hell would I "baby" them. #1 My whole life has been spernt TRYING to get them to be independent, able to take care of themselves, to just plain survive... financially, emotionally, socially. Such a request (never mind whether I actually babied them or not as a 22 year old) is a sign of the opposite happening. As others have written above, the goal for everyone should be independence. Having a fantasy is one thing. Actually trying to plan how to "get" your parents to baby you does in fact suggest a problem. #2 It would cause others to ask, "What has this guy been doing with their child during the previous 15 years? Has there been abuse?" Playing out sexual fantasies with your own minor child is in fact abuse. Other responders have already pointed out the inappropriateness of this. #3 As I think of actually babying my own children, I feel ill. The suggestions of other posters that you wet yourself and wet your bed.... #1 Assumes you still live with your parents at 22. That they allow you to live with them is a privilege. Respect it. #2 Would NOT have any relevance to your goal. It would be interpreted as an indicator of a medical problem. Assuming that your parents are normal sane individuals. When (below my signature) I suggest letting someone change you, I certainly do NOT mean your parents. Joey
  6. None - I rarely do. But when I do, it is in one of these categories: -classical -kid music (like disney) -lullabyes -ragtime
  7. I have some comments / questions for Baby D - You mention http://www.special-clothes.com/special.htm as a place you can order custom sized clothing. . . pants, diapers, onesies. I have looked their site several times and thought of ordering from them They do not remotely suggest any AB awareness. Have YOU ordered from them? Someone on the [about to disappear in May] MSN DD group recently suggested that he had written there several times recently with no response. Any info on dealings with this company would be appreciated. You mention http://www.jumpinjammerz.com/ as a kool place to order jammies; with or without feet, or even a drop seat! I have gotten one sleeper there and 3 from the more pricey KozyKomfy. The one thing about the JJ sleepers - they come with snappers and the cloth is thin terry. Very authentic for the infant experience. Also annoying from the adult point of view! Why? because it doesn't take a whole lot of movement to find the snappers popping open in the crotch and leg area. Adult bodies are after all a bit more powerful than the infant's ! LOL The KK sleepers are zipped up which works fast and easy. They also have sturdy rubber pads on the feet for safety... (not so likely to slip and fall). The KK sleepers are a great toddler experience. [by the way, the KozyKomfy.com site is temporarily closed but promises to reopen in June for the summer season.]
  8. Regarding the best price on disposables. XPMedical is often cited. I have purchased there a few times and the service is good. But compare these prices using a case (36 diapers) of Large Abena X-Plus... 1) At XPMedical: $55.95 (shipping free) = $1.55 each 2) At DiapersUSA: $33.69 (that's 3 bags at $11.23 each) (Add shipping to MAINE) = $52.71 = $1.46 each BUT... if you live on the western part of the USA, the shipping from California is much less: (Add shipping to CALIFORNIA) = $45.44 = $1.26 each So, DiapersUSA is a better price. I have ordered from them twice, both times shipping to my hotel, once in Arizona and once in California. Although their web page says shipping is discreet, it is not entirely so. The carton used for shipping was a "PaperPak" carton. You'd have to know that PaperPak makes diapers of course. Both are California based companies. One more thing about DiapersUSA.com -- It is the same company as KCKMedical (this is clearly indicated on the DiapersUSA page, not hidden). However, the strange thing is that the prices for diapers are cheaper on the DiapersUSA.com page.
  9. I read elsewhere that our host has had his hands full with some family health issues... he's back ... It's not automatic, he (DailyDi) will post fairly soon I'm sure.
  10. I agree. I haven't had a sleeper made by her. But I have had shirts and shortalls made and they are real nice. She is also extremely easy to work with - she aims to please.
  11. Rhezz, sometimes I feel like you... and it cannot exactly be attributed to youthful hormones, now can it? LOL Keep in mind there have been many threads about the REALLY IN TO IT and PURGE cycles in our lifestyle in which folks throw out stuff, considering themselves over the top, weird, or whatever. I have no advice, except to mention that I started a thread (and poll) many months ago asking people how many minutes/hours a day do people spend on diaper sites like DD. Spending a lot of time here is one thing, but even that needs to be in moderation as others have mentioned. The problem is, what is moderate? Many would say ANY time in a site like this is stupid and a waste of time. (not us, of course! LOL) But seriously, every hour we spend here, in my opinion, probably reinforces and strengthens the interest and fascination... not to mention opens your mind to many varations of your interest you hadn't thought about before. It would take a strong act of the will for me not to look at this board for... let's say, 2 weeks straight. Hmmmm.
  12. Welcome! I agree with the feeling of security... hard to put one's finger on it exactly, but yeah. It sounds like something that grew on you later in life (as opposed to as a child/teen, which seems true of many people here). Am I right or guessing incorrectly? For me, it has become part of my life during the last 6 years.
  13. Basically I suspect Wombat is right. There really are less women into our thing. I would have cited the same peronals as he, but there was once an extensive survey on DD that pretty much turned up around 10% female. I was sorry that Daily Di took down those results. I think such surveys when answered by a large sample, as this one was, give the best indication. Pretty much all else is guesswork. Answering the survey, BTW, is anonymous and does not engender IMs from nasty males, etc. The problem with this reasoning Pipsqueak, is that I believe the same could be said about male lurkers. I have read numerous posts of males saying something to the effect - "I have lurked here and on other sites for a long time; now I'd like to introduce myself..." (Lest I be misunderstood, of course I recognize the difference of the way women are often harassed etc. and that it is reasonable to presume that leads to many women being present but not seen.) I just think that, for whatever, reason there are also many male lurkers. PS The poll I referred to above was conducted in early March, 2005.
  14. Accepting respopnsibility for your words is better than denial Rhezz. We all know the attitude of some is that it is all right to say anything one wants on these boards, but at least accept what you have said. Here it is again: "...i dont agree with adults wearing baby diapers. It doesnt look good/cute or whatever, it just looks ridicilous and strange, my personal view." Fine. No it wasn't "directed" at me. It was directed to those who wear baby diapers. People like me. You say it is ridiculous and strange. More importantly, you don't "agree" with it. Is that designed to promote our sense of community here or ... ? You have shared a lot about yourself in the many weeks that you have posted here. Would you want anyone to say they didn't agree with some of your behaviours and found them ridiculous and strange? Can't we find such comments elsewhere in the media without finding them here. You can't get into it? Fine. Why knock it? Others may think putting a paci in the mouth is utterly inane... so what? Etc etc. I gotta run back to work. You figure it out.
  15. Obviously Rhezz doesn't like my avatar. OK, fine. I'll get rid of it... In fact, if you all want to list the things that bother you, just post them so that I can stop all of the things I am doing that might be bothering SOMEONE out there. Good grief.
  16. As expressed, I totally agree. But I think both of you may have missed one of the key points of an ABDL symbol. Some have spoken of the symbol as a kind of identification - mainly for other ABDLs to recognize them. Not a rallying point, but a way of picking out a fellow enthusiast without mistake. I'm going to use an analogy (fearfully) that I hope helps- not so much a flag, like the Christian flag, more like a point of contact, like the secret sign of the fish (originally). I think thats how a lot of ABDL people see its purpose.
  17. Regrettably, we have had to cancel the first of our four events. Sickness, poor response, were factors. However- we will still be doing the other three events, namely: #2 – Sun Jan 15: Casual Sunday Meet and Greet Followed by Entertainment. Lunch at TGIF in Mesa (near Fiesta Mall on S. Longwood). We sit down at 2 pm. Ask for Joey’s table or look for Joey (guy in shortalls). Appetizers are free on Joey. Other food and drinks are on you. After lunch, we go to Joey’s place for entertainment (optional). Planned: Watching Cody’s “Diaper Wars” and other ABDL DVDs. Not sure where to find the TGIF restaurant? Here is their link: tgifridays.know-where.com/tgifridays/cgi/site?01856 #3 – Tue Jan 17: Diaper Boys Bar Nite. Socializing at the Padlock. Tuesday is underwear [diapers???] nite. Drop your trousers and get a half price drink. We’ll be there starting at 8 pm. Info about the Padlock: www.padlockaz.com/plspecialevents.html #4 – Sat Jan 21: Casual Saturday Meet and Greet. Lunch at Hamburger Mary’s (5111 N 7th Street, Phoenix). We’ll sit down to order at 2 pm. Ask for Joey’s table or look for Joey (guy in shortalls). SORRY!! Still have questions? Email me! Joey: abdljoey@yahoo.com
  18. How I wish!! I hope you get a couple of takers! You sound like a generous host and it sure would be a hoot, er toot-toot! A wonderful combination of pleasures! I have gotten out a few trains this season, visited a few places with layouts, and have had a lot of fun "playing trains" with my 3 yr old grandson. Again, how I wish I could be a part of your group.
  19. Anxious. Got diagnosed with painful kidney stones on Saturday Got the flu/cold/fever/sore throat thing on Sunday Got diagnosed with a hernia on Tuesday Was told that I have a prostate "bump" that needs further examination With all this, I have to fly to Arizona for a week of business teaching on Saturday. And, try my best to fulfill my promise to gather local ABDLs for special events durin g the week I am there!
  20. Actually, the "opposing" advice IS useful in answering her question. It is my understanding that a very REAL KEY to unpotty training is to be sure you want it. So, going through all of the pros and cons is actually STEP 1 so that your mind is settled with no "maybe" "perhaps some day" etc about the decision. OK - here is the best advice I have ever found: A VERY detailed document on how to go about unpotty training. Also available at the same spot is a documnent SoCalAb frequently recommends. However the document labeled: "Incontinence-Guide.pdf" is lengthy, detailed, and I would think helpful. (I say "I think" because I haven't tried to follow it nor am I able to.) But check it out ... VERY interesting. 1) Go to this yahoo group: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/2b-incontinent/ 2) Click on "Files" 3) Download! This group was shut down with many other yahoo groups last spring. It was re-started and disallows all pictures and has no messages archived. You can join and get the "posts" emailed, and that's the only way to get the information. Most of the posts (not many are made in total) have NOT been relevant to unpotty training, but rather medical means for accomplishing incontinence... a highly controversial and to my mind dangerous undertaking. However, the file is fantastic.
  21. "i take the baby powder an throw it around everywhere".... That makes me laugh. Years back, I was working about two blocks from home when I got a phone call from my wife at home. "You better get yourself home at once if you ever wanna see your kids alive again!" She was never so angry before or since. When I gort home I saw why. My 3.5 year old daughter and 1.5 yr old sister had systematically dusted their entire room- floor, furniture, bedding-- everything-- with J&J powder!! We laugh together now but it took a while to get to that point!!
