    i dont believe the rapture will happen, it was a dilusion of margaret mcdonald in the 1830, and she said when it came to her, it felt evil, God dont do evil, satan does. the word "rapture" is nowhere in the bible, none of the texts, the bad one shows up at the 6th trump, and His Majesty Jesus shows up at the 7th, for heaven on earth.

    i wouldnt let someone see me naked(not that anyone wants to, THANK GOD, im revenge of the FUGLY), but assuming i was at all comfortable being seen like that, AND being cleaned and changed, id draw the line at the rectal temp, "WHOA! HOLD UP THERE, WE MIGHT HAVE HAD A VERY PERSONAL ENCOUNTER BUT NOBODY GOES THERE WITH ANYTHING! EXIT ONLY! you want a temp its gonna have to be oral or forehead!"

    my mom has diverticulitis, real bad, she had to go to the hospital a week ago and they said she has a small perforation from it, she has to have the same procedure, they want to try to wait 6 to 8 weeks without a flareup so they can do it safer and with a robot laproscopically, much better than an emergent procedure where they would have to do a colostomy, and hope when they connect everything that everything still works, and be rid of the bag on the side(it can be iffy wether or not it would work that way)

    your church sounds very judgemental, i have to question staying there if they are going to deny you being in groups because you just have a thing for diapers. last i checked as long as you didnt involve the diapers in anything about your leading, its not a problem and i doubt you would do that. same with denying you a wedding until "cured" of an interest, marriage is about you, your wife, and most importantly God, not the church.

     

    your wife sounds very inconsistant, i think you need to put your foot down and assert your rights. im not saying to be like " WOMAN, IM THE BOSS HERE, NOW SHUT UP AND GET IN THAT KITCHEN, THEN DO THE CHORES WHILST I SIT ON MY DIAPERED ASS AND DO AS I PLEASE, AND WHEN YOUR DONE, COME JOIN ME IN THE BEDROOM FOR A LITTLE MARITAL CONGRESS", that would be ridiculous, but maybe be more like "look, im sick of this shit, im sick of your abuse, tricking me and making me think you are supportive of my likes and then turning on me like you did before the pastor, i deserve better, id never have done that to you. its like this, we are going to marital counselling, im making an appointment for us, and you WILL go, you WILL participate, so we can get back on track, because this aint working. i dont want to get divorced but im not gonna let you ruin my faith for me, with your bible thumping ways. " then walk away, go to the phone book and make the appointment. this lets her know she is crossing the line and if she wants to keep from being single she better change. at the end of the day, its not worth losing your relationship with God to stay with someone who spiritually abuses you, and if she thinks she can be the dictator of all that happens and if you can wear a damn diaper, she has no right.

    last wednesday, my mom had to be taken to an urgent care, not her heart this time but it was her diverticulum, they did a ct scan and it showed she has a small perforation, so they sent her by ambulance to a hospital, thankfully not the murder and malpractice center, but it seems the wards of the other one is lacking as well, more about that later. she has to have surgery, they thought they were gonna go ahead and do an operation but they changed their mind, she is on blood thinners for her heart so they stopped those wednesday night when she got there, thursday night rolls around and a friend brings me up to stay with her, that night, without blood thinners, not even any heparin although they talked about giving it, she had EXTREME chest pain, they had no nitro ordered and didnt give her any, she had to do a "no no" as she put it and take her own, and told me to call a friend of the family that is strong in faith to pray for her, it felt just like a heart attack to her, and she had 3 before, thank God the 1st dose brought it down from a 10 to a 2, a nurse gave her oxygen and it went away, they did 3 troponins on her and they turned out negative, thank God, but i was still uneasy about that 3rd one because it was 13, and an M.I. is 15 i think, friday they surprised her with a stress test, no doc coming in to talk with her about it or anything, a nurse just showed up with a wheelchair and said "your're going for a stress test, for the first time she passed it, she was smiling through it, her ejection fraction was 77 in it and i was thanking God for that,  later a nurse comes in and says "you're NPO after midnight, they wanna do a cath on you", EVEN MORE STRESS!!!!!!!!

    she refused saying she wasnt consenting to any cath until a doc talks to her and convinces her, they tried to medicate her for it 3 times and each time it was "no! not until a cardiologist can explain to my satisfaction why its needed, especially when the stress test was good!"

    she had visits from 2 gastro docs, one was a colorectal surgeon, and said the plan is to go 6-8 weeks without a flare up if possible, and do the surgery controlled and with a robot, laproscopically, sort of a cut and paste for an easy way to explain it, taking out 6-8 inches of colon, she was discharged sunday, had no problems monday and then tuesday morning she tells me "son, im gonna have to go back to the hospital" she was having bad pain there, ginger tea didnt help, she woke up at 5am in pain, i think on the ride to the hospital some phinergan started to work a little, we had to wait a long time to get a place for her in the er, ok i can understand they had 4 ambulances come in when they told us it would be a while, even more after that but it dont make it easier. when they got room for her they gave her some toridol and saline solution, good news is things settled down, i need to go get her script later today for some oral toridol, i can do that.

    as for the problem on the ward she was admitted to before, the doctors dont communicate with each other, doctors orders are followed if its convienient! a doc ordered scud pumps for her legs and she didnt get them until almost 2 days later, after a doc chewed the nurses out for not getting them, no consultation about anything cardiac, no orders for nitro after stopping her thinners just in case, no ordering even heparin after changing their mind to wait, and i believe that caused a rebound effect causing that chest pain and giving me an all new adventure in stress, when heparin was finally ordered it was to be given q8h, every 8 hours, once i had to go out there and remind them after they missed a dose, another time a nurse said "oh we give those at 10 and 10, so some days she denied ordered doses, other than waiting so long the er is good, no complaints there, but the wards are shit! there was a small handful of good nurses, thats it. i could even hear a tv show being watched in the nurses station! are they suppose to be watching tv or watching patients?!

    with all this it feels like a sword of damocles over my head, i do everything i can to keep mom alive and sometimes i dont know how much more i can handle, why wont God just take me out of this meatsuit already?!

    have you tried talking with her about this? reading the bible is good, but is she doing to it to feed her soul or to try to hammer you about something? is she becoming a bible thumper? a marriage can only work if both sides talk and work together, if she is doing something that bothers you, that you feel spiritually abuses you, you have to say it, go to a marriage counsellor if needed.

    i do have to agree with her on one thing, about posting kid picks on facebook, its a bad idea, for the reason given, of course i dont have kids(or  a wife for that matter) so i dont have to worry about it, i got plenty to deal with without that stress!

    play with stuffed animals in the living room, they have their own habits(buster calls me stinkypup, sasses me, biggie likes to pounce, and lammy just lounges around, rarely ever does anything mischievious), roll over and just cuddle with my big cuddly, a teddy bear in my cammo one piece jammies named "mr chubs", especially if something in the day has been particularly stressful, like being given a brand new allergy by those fucking yellow jackets, damn things didnt even have enough decency to put me down!

    the chance of it being a bomb is very remote, im a nobody, not in politics, and more or less a hermit, possibly anti-social although i like the term "selectively social" better, so if someone would drop a box off, as the conditions above give, if i have any reason at all to be paranoid id open it on the porch with a utility knife, cutting the top off so i can see, if i see its diapers id take the box in, if its drugs id leave it and call the cops. if it would for some reason be a bomb, id get mom to go carefully yet quickly out the back, making sure she grabs her nitro, try to get as many guns as a can and my go bag, at least my living room cuddly, get her in the car and drive to the fire station where i would hope a deputy sheriff would be, report what i found, being afraid that trying to call it in my might set off said explosive.
