  1. Dotmed shows malecot silicone catheters in stock. I did not try to buy them, so I don't know if the site will let you without a prescription. My thought was take two malecot catheters and cut them both approx 5cm (?) from the distal end and join the distal ends with some sort of union allowing the catheters to cover the union. Attach a retrieval line, clean and insert. But this is just an idea or theory. I have not tried it.
  2. Zombie thread. But I will bite. I personally have no problem with firearms. The laws in the USA concerning firearms are a bit quaint and outdated. You have to pass a written and short hands on test to drive a car, you need to pass a drug test to get many jobs. But after passing a "backround" check you can walk out of many Walmarts or the like with a firearm. Something that can accidentally injure or kill someone if handled negligently . Enough talk from me. Off to bed.
  3. The urology doctors I see have never mentioned anything about diapers, pads and such things. Maybe next time I will ask just to see what information I can get from them.
  4. I prefer cloth diapers, but my daily routine has me use disposable most of the time.
  5. And I thought this was going to be some sort of new holiday...
  6. Prevail Breezer with a Tranquility booster with Comco plastic pants over top and a catheter underneath. Time to change.
  7. Saw this, and I quote: "recommended in pharmacies for medium to heavy incontinence and for nocturnal puppetry" Could you repeat that please?
  8. Sent them an email. Basically told them a very brief description of my urinary problems and asked if the stent was available in the USA. They replied that it was not available.
  9. I couldn't chose more than one. So I chose what I use most often.
  10. I posted about this awhile ago. This style stent is designed to be in place where we want it. Dlnoir's stent is 60mm between the orings and this style stent shows a length of 50mm for the 16f. I do not know if that is the overall length or the length between the Malecot catheter ends. The Malecot end would allow complete bladder emptying (at least while standing) since the drainage end would be at the bottom of the bladder. The company is unwilling to send anything to the U.S. I do understand with FDA rules and what not. But I did ask. I think that someone could cut one of these in the middle and add a short extension to see if it works. But someone would have to get a hold of one first.
  11. Sorry to hear that. Life does have a way of interfering with personal desires...
  12. All I can say is: Do not let your desires EVER interfere with your children. Sorry I am so blunt about this, but it is how I feel about the topic.
  13. On the right might be a bit much? And as Beallucanbe suggested.. How about singlets? singlet or the red picture on the left.
  14. Its been almost two years.. How goes the drone?

  16. Sorry LG. That was something I found in wandering. I saw it in US patent files somewhere. But I don't know where. Meanwhile, I have a catheter in now. Cheap Attends feel wet after 45 min...
  17. Interesting... Using Vaseline concerns me. And I have considered rubbing something like Ora-Gel on the affected area. But have not tried that yet.
  18. I like the textured pants myself. Not an absolute must have, but it reminds me of the ever elusive Gerber style pants. Which must explain why I like my one remaining pair of VIP pants so much. And lanolin. I did not know that. You can still buy lanolin and rub it on for that scent...
  19. How about Dritz diaper pins? I have heard good things about them and they may be available local to you...
