I am ICDL and have never had a problem was married twice , one ended in widower the other in divorce , but I have never had a problem dating or anything ,my current G/F of 9 years also wears , I had to teach her to accept them and help her cope with being newly IC but she's come a long way. When I was really young my grand parents lived in a retirement community in Tom's river N.J one year I spent the entire summer with them and got to know all there neighborhood people, I must have made quite an impact on one of them because the following year I received a full color solid chocolate easter bunny that weighed a good 100 pounds with just the chocolate it probably had another 25 pounds in gum drops jelly beans and licorice decorating it , one of there neighbors owned a very large candy company and custom made it for me , and for as long as they were alive they made sure I had an outrageous easter , since they had no children or grand children of there own , they spoiled the hell out of me, my siblings wondered how I "rated" .

It is actually against federal law in the United states to leave an indwelling catheter in place, an over whelming 92% of all hospital acquired infections were traced to Foley catheters ,so unless they need exact input and output readings fur to your health , they have to discontinue Foley use as soon as possible, they risk being charged with neglect and abuse if they keep you cathed for there convienece, also since a hospital acquired infection is there fault they can not bill you or your insurance for the care to treat the infection , that's money they lose . You can buy in most home medical equipment suppliers a portable commode for adults with or without arms , and places even Sell a diaper for the pail so fluids get absorbed by sap and you just throw the whole thing away if it's used. hey big guy i was 34 when my doctor told me i had an "incon" problem and my prostate was making it worse, he said" when you sit down dont you fell like youre sitting on a softball" i said yeah so what been like that for years he said " thats your swollen prostate and with medication its posable we can shrink it to near normal size" i'm like what the if its not posable with medication then what and he says" we do a TURP and cut your little buddy down to size" i said lets pray for the pills then doc because nobody is going near my penis with a knife let alone going up inside my penis with a knife, with my luck it will be a female surgeon who had it out with her cheating husband this morning and she decides to cut something out i will need later (as in she's dreaming about what she would do if it was hubby on the table. it's crazy what you think of when your penis and a knife are in the same sentence . anyway the medication Flomax has helped no knife for me Yeay. Baby Tara If you go to www..sportaid.com you can buy Foley Caths and also caths with "kits sterile gloves lube cleaner drapes syringe full of sterile water etc all packaged with the cath of your choice also Foleys for women are shorter than Foleys for men so make sure you get the shorter lenth Foley sportaid also does not require prescriions to purchase Folets,whereas alot of other places follow the letter of the law and require them. well i'm not AB/DL i'm just plain Incontinent and wear currently Angelfluff Cloth diapers and blu ice high rise enclosed elastic in both pull up and snap front and have an adaptive wardrobe so i do not have to remove my pants to change my diaper , I use a power wheelchair for mobility so depending on the plans for the day and weather and such i decide if i will be changing my blue ice during the day and if so i will wear the snap front and have my backup in my pack. i'll tell you a little bitch about my incon-- i hate the cold and tend to hibernate in the winter but when its cold and i'm forced to leave my house for a doctors appointment or some such thing that cant be aVOIDed it doesnt mater if i just cathed and tapped a kidney i go out in the cold and wham i wet my diaper,nice fresh clean diaper to go out and hit the cold and poof! makes me crazy Peace

Should 'nt all Tranquility diapers come with a Tranquilizer so at the end of a hard day you can change your diaper and your mind and flip channels endlessly without really caring whats on TV Peace

letluvsrool Well it definately is not fun, or anything that the people trying to break there bodies so they become "Incon" think they will be buying thay have no idea. at this point in my life from eing diapered all the time , If they came up with a cure i think i would become a DL as i own no umdertwear and i have a BMI of like 7% very very little fat and my muscles are destroying themselves so my tiny little butt kinda needs that diaper to absorb and spread out the bumps in the road wheeling wherever i go. you can buy a box of 100 generic bisacodyl suppositories on Amazon.com for about 12 $ i believe and then you can set about experimenting on coatings and what not till your heart is content without going broke, and further the Marshmallow thing is the same thing as using a glycerin suppository and bisacodyl at the same time. now as someone above said already playing with laxatives can make you dependent so this should be done cautiously and infrequently so as to not cause harm to your body

i have "Blu Ice" made for Angelfluff by Gary which are absolutely awesome pants but i also paid for them to be awesome i ordered the High waist enclosed elatic etc i also have some top shelf Kins form Jenny at Babykins which are really awesome in there own right. they fit perfect and are so comfortable its crazy, I also just recently go seven pair of rubber Bloomers from her to wear to bed and they are incredible cant say enough good things about them,"Welcome back rubber where have you been so long" And people talk about the "Euroflex" the Key to that is everyone can where those except Diabetics diabetics urine will destroy those in very short time , they are made from poleurathane rather than viny plastic or rubber so they do last along time Peace

Yummy if you have not been warned before or have no experience in bed/bedwetting protection you will never be fully covered by a disposable because there is no side protection so if you void on your side its all gonna end up on whatever chuck you are using, that is why i wear both disposable as well as cloth because cloth gives you wrap around protection any position you care to sleep in. and also the "Depend" will not stand up to multiple heavy wettings at night (i understand this is the brand you prefer) you must over protect at night to ensure you have adequte coverage for those oops didnt see that coming. but thats just advice from an Incontinent view point your milage may vary. I'm not a DL I'm a MU (must Use) as i'm incontinent but i wil say as far as disorders and diseases go "Incon" and wearing diapers has to be the easiest thing to do, i absolutely adore every genre of music so lose of hearing would be like death, i'm a photographer so blindness would be similar I'm in a power wheelchair for mobility i do not mind that much, hell most days i can wheel further than a person normaly walks, and the wheelchair never complains one iota that it carries a backpack with extra cloth and disposable diapers,booster pads, rubber pants, catheters, lube lotions & powder, both adult wipes as well as a bath in a bag kit that 30 seconds in he nuker will let you clean head to toe (that comes in handy if anything gets messy,well changeing your diaper use the wipes to clean as much as possable and then do a head to toe with the kit and your smelling clean and fresh) change of clothes if a flood occurs, and lots of gloves and little plastic bags to get rid of used diapers catheters lube packets etc.. so they dont stink up the Mens room or "Family Room". Sorry Drew i have formerly known as "Battle Fatigue" now Called Post Traumatic Stress Disorder- Concentration Camp Survivor Syndrome, I happen to know more than a few Bi-Polars who are on the right medication and lead normal everyday lives just like you or I,or should I say I because you appear to have Biases against certain Disabled Economic or racial segments of society whereas I believe in tolerance and peace and accommodation for everyone we all have a role in this world if we all where alike there would be no fabric to society no marital unions no children born no difference between you me and anyone else, everything would be a shade of gray. Sarah_AB you are right what i'm telling him to do is undercover for "him", whereas for me i am in a wheelchair, i am "incon" so what i say to anybody who would dare make a rude or derogatory comment about my diapers,you keep running your pie hole about my diapers and your gonna be needing them next is my opinion. I mean people should be more accepting of what they dont understand weather talking AB/DL or "Incon" society should quit the "bs" unacceptance stuff and just say hey you obviously have a need for those, thank there God its not them and move on. I have said on the board a bunch of times go to walmart in a wheelchair and be near the diapers and a crowd will form out of thin air of eople wanting to help you get diapers, even if you are there for razor blades people in wheelchairs need help with diapers,everytime they will bring diffrent brands and sizes they will offer to stay with you and help you check out and take them to your car , i mean you could not pay a personal shopper for better service than that provided by people who think diapers and wheelchairs must go together!!.. And of course if he picked the "right" cover he could get away with wearing 24/7 or any time in there without raising an eyebrow anyway so yes its undercover for him but would be normal for me Peace
