  1. Calmoseptine is wonderful for skin care for dry, mild rashes minor broken skin, cracks, etc. If it's a rash definitely use something that is designed for yeast infections. If the rash shows improvement in a couple days you are on the right track.
  2. You're not going to see your doctor
  3. Sounds like you are adjusting well to incontinence overall. As a friend told me once "Nobody ever actually dies from embarrassment." That has helped me be much more comfortable with diapers and not caring if anyone notices.
  4. If I could get the VA to help with the costs I would gladly switch to these for all my needs. It is not easy to afford the best products on a limited income. I am currently working but my doctor is trying to push me to retire early because job related stress is taking a huge toll on my overall health. Right now the VA will only order from www.indemed.com because they have a national contract with the VA. If Northshore has a national contract I would happily switch.
  5. Patience Jill. It takes time to figure these things out. You're in good company here. There is another incontinence forum I'm on that you may find some really good advice on, not that you don't find it here. There is a lot of good here too but you never know what works until you have more information.
  6. Definitely sounds like a UTI. If your pee starts to smell strong and turns very dark yellow or brown (brown means blood because your kidneys are bleeding) you have progressed to a kidney infection. Cranberry supplements can also help. Drink a up to a gallon of water per day so you can flush your waterworks out along with as much bacteria as possible.
  7. Technically, since every member on this forum is required to be 18 or older to join, having stories containing any sexual content to characters that are under 18 (since this website is hosted in the US) is a reference of pedophilia. Isn't that what a bunch of members here were also complaining about on [That other site]? Stories about an adult being regressed is fantasy. Stories about underage people being forced into sexual suggestive situations is pedophilia, like it or not. Allowing those stories here is a very slippery slope that can harm a decent forum and give it a bad name.
  8. For the last f'n time they ARE PLASTIC BACKED!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. The other brands didn't show up when I first went to the link. Thanks for the update.
  10. That's good news. I agree that it could be a stress issue. Do something that you enjoy and can relax doing. Even if it's a few minutes per day it will help.
  11. padded_husky, Just because you're okay with cramming your beliefs down the throats of others doesn't mean they will agree with you. Repeatedly arguing your point doesn't win you any converts. It drives them further away from your point of view.
  12. It is very clear to my "ignorant" mind. I'm not a homophobic person. I simply won't be playing a game if I know something I don't agree with is being forced on me. That's okay. I have other games that are plenty entertaining to me.
  13. If the post is true it will be forced on everyone that plays it. The post says "even straight Sheppards will accidentally observe an intimate homosexual encounter. I guess I won't be playing it. I'm not gay and I don't like it being forced on me in any fashion. I have a few people that are gay and they don't push it on me, just like I don't push my spiritual or sexual beliefs or my on them.
  14. There is no such thing in free speech in a PRIVATELY OWNED forum! If you want a sight with no censorship you are free to start and operate your own forum. If you let others join and you don't do some censorship it won't take very long for it to all got to hell in a hand basket.
  15. First off chill out a bit. You could always join the military. School will seem like a cake walk. There are far worse things you could be facing right now. Go to any VA hospital and just walk around and look. You will see things that will change the way you look at your life.
  16. Not very useful unless you are only looking for a pull-up from Depends or one-size leak guards from Tena. If that's what you need then it's a good find.
  17. I would recommend a good quality tape on brier like the Abena S3, M3, or L3 depending on size. If that isn't enough consider the 4 x-plus line. A pull-up might sound like it will afford more dignity, but leaks and having to completely undress your lower half including taking off shoes every time are very humiliating if a person is still mobile. You CAN'T change a pull-up without taking your shoes and pants completely off. With a tape on diaper (call it a brief if it makes her feel better about it) you only need to drop your pants down to the knees. I have done this many times and been able to get changed in a public bathroom while standing without any help. Since I an still mobile, mostly anyway, I prefer to have as little help as possible and still manage a decent quality of life. There is not a single pull-up that can compete with a quality diaper for absorbancy and prevention of leaks. I would rather tape on a regular diaper than have an obvious leak showing when out in public from a product that is not adequate to handle the need. If a pull-up is a must, and it is just psychological need that I also fought in the early months of incontinence, the Abena pull-up is the best on the market. They still fall far short of the Abena (3 and 4) and Secure Personal Care lines. Good luck and I really hope you find something that will help you to help her be less stressed over her current challenges.
  18. Very nice find. I've been bad about practicing my guitar lately. I have so many other things on my mind lately I'm having a hard time getting in the mood to play.
  19. Millions of kids got better grades, completed their homework on time, and learned to play outside with friends. OH THE AGONY!
  20. Why not just use a booster pad. After it is soaked you can change it and you should still have capacity in the diaper. Most booster pads can be folded and fit into a pocket very discretely.
  21. You could probably get a good answer if you post the CPU model or laptop brand and model number.
  22. Congrats. I just sold my bikes after 24 years of riding. I miss it but my back can't take it anymore.
  23. Isn't this in itself promoting an act of hate against others? I though this was supposedly an accepting community. I have seen so many examples of hate and discontent on this forum lately I'm beginning to wonder if the moderators are sleeping at the wheel.
  24. I have gotten some really bad friction rashes from the fake cloth-like diapers. I have had the cloth-like covers come loose at night and leak really bad. I have had very little problem with most plastic backed diapers.
