  1. Bettypooh, I can also understand your position, even though it's almost 180 degrees from mahleedl's.
  2. OK. I see what you're saying. There's really no other way of being sure of the material than controlling the whole of the manufacturing and keeping potentially harmful substances out of it.
  3. Oh, I do a fair bit of research and wriggle my way through the relevant sections of Gray's, but only on an amateurish level. No formal education whatsoever. So don't listen to me.
  4. Well, we could probably do with some people who had training in a medical field or something related. I'm still trying to find out if the material I used for the modified malecot stent is reasonably safe. I've used this style several times now with no bad effects, but that is not conclusive; someone earlier in this thread had a reaction to a cut-off foley and that sounds rare. So, does anyone know what this airline/ silicone tubing could potentially do to the body?
  5. It might cause Atlantis, it might cause R'lyeh, I wouldn't risk it.
  6. What a nice commentary of nothing happenend. Did you get a good view of the winter triangle?
  7. 10.000 is OK in .223 for your M416, but way to few in 7.62x51 for the compact gatling gun. I would limit it to about 1.000 rounds each in .357 , .45ACP and 9mm Parabellum, too much bother reloading all the time. Oh, 12 Ga Mag: 500 each of #2 Buckshot and Brenneke 'Dangeous Game' Slugs might be a good idea, too. EDIT: I somehow feel that I should mention that this is NOT a serious recommendation but a sarcastic hyperbole. While I have my own opinion about gun laws*, there's some trigger-happy nuts out there that I really don't want to meet. * Spoons made me fat!
  8. Hi Betty! Christine is right, Irfanview is one of the best freewares ever! Reads about every format you can think of (and a multitude of ones that you never heard about) and saves to just as many, very compact and easy to use. I specially like the "batch processing" function, where you can set values (resolution, size, aspect ratio, filename and more) for the resulting pictures and just throw hundreds of pix at it and it'll work through them. Ideal for building slideshows! If you ever need to do more than IV offers, there's "The GIMP". Also free to use and comparable to Photoshop, but maybe a bit of overkill for resizing... By the way, cute avatar pic!
  9. Just a very quick opinion on why this program was produced. It's not to show that people like us are normal and non-threatening. It's because the shock factor brings in viewers. I don't watch a lot of 'telly anyway, but i seem to remember there's a program called something like "disgusting bodies". They don't make that to show that having uneven, scabby boobs (no idea if that was ever featured, just as an example) is good. They make it because the freak show audience equals advertising revenue.
  10. I think it's a political "we" and "them" thing. It's so much easier to slag off whatever than to risk ridicule from your peer group by saying: "Oh, I can relate to that". Try going to a football* game between Manchester* and Liverpool* and saying to your ManU-pals that you think the Reds played well. *US folk can replace this with "baseball", "Dodgers" and "Giants" respectively.
  11. Just for a change the trailer doesn't look too bad; not a "see that perv"- feeling to it.
  12. I think the best you can say about them is that they're easily and widely available. Not all that bad, but for the same price you can get better performance from Abena, Tena or Hartmann. I found them to have too much SAP, or rather too little fibre, so that the wetness doesn't spread all that well until it's saturated beyond capacity. On the other hand, as you say, if you like being changed, there's a reason for your mummy or daddy to do it a bit more often...
  13. You have now posted your lifestyle on yet another fetish forum. Wise move? On the other hand, it's out now. You can't put it back into the tin. It'll die down and dry up eventually; people will get bored taking the mickey and move on. Just learn from it that you don't post your face next time and don't trust people too much. What did your colleagues friend have to say about what she's doing on a fetish forum chatting up diaper lovers?
  14. I'd like to meet, and Bournemouth woulkd be fine by me, too; although I'm busy on December 1st. I suspect a lot of Christmas parties will be starting soon as well, so I think you will get more replies in the new year... By the way: Try and keep this thread alive. I've tried to organise a meet over at Fetlife for the Southampton/ Portsmouth region. If I don't post daily, it just dies. All that ever happened from that was that I met another wearer for a chat. And there were even people (admittedly a way away, but not too much) who offered their own place for a meeting. I think that most people will, when it becomes real, shy away. Lots of talk and wishful thinking, but no live action. Anyway, good luck. [stops whining]
  15. Creepymouse, you're giving Goerge ideas... @ all, and warpiper in particular: since this is a Goerge thread, wouldn't it be better to not feed it too much? He always posts over-radical questions that give the whole "incontinent-desires crowd" a overly bizarre and frightening touch; newbies will get scared. Though, scaring newbies away would be preferable to making them think that his ideas are something they should try. This isn't "Pain Olympics", "One Man, One Jar" or "Jackass", Goerge. Your questions always suggest super-drastic procedures that hopefully no-one will ever think of as being viable options.
  16. @ Zander: The Metro group in Germany tried a thing a few years ago: they rolled out active pricetags on the shelves (LCD based). What they didn't tell the cusomers was that these also had RFID receivers built in, and could track your movement and the linger time in front of every article by your store card (of which they also not told that it had a RFID chip hidden). Caused a rather big Hooha when it came out; they had to issue new cards without chip. I can well believe that Tesco knows more about anyone than the authorities do. But back to the nappies... Bridge & Co, 226 Burgess Rd. in Swaythling, Southampton stock Molicare Super Plus for £19.02 incl. VAT I know it's not ASDA, but only 10 minutes away from ASDA in Chandler's Ford.
  17. @ cheapthrills: Tesco never forgets...
