  1. How about the Kitty Cat clock with the eyes and tail that went opposite ways back and forth.
  2. I don't remember exactly when I joined the site but some time next month will mark 7 years of 24/7 in diapers. I don't post too often but I enjoy reading about others who embrace this lifestyle and share their experiences with us. I like to chat about things I personally enjoy concerning my diapered life. I'm older, in my late 60s, so I come from a time when we 'made it up' as we went along. Well over 50 years in diapers. I'm thankful to the new generations of ABDLs who carry the torch and continue to spotlight that wearing diapers is not a bad thing and that we harm no one with our desires. Those who continue to push for new and improved products that are a keystroke away and easy to obtain. So, Little Tomas, congrats, and much happiness in the upcoming years.
  3. I also use the same diaper day and night, Tranquility ATN. I normally use a Huggies Little Movers size 6 as a stuffer. Recently I switched to a size 5 and the results have not noticeably changed. Yesterday I found an opened pack of a brand called Up and Up in a size 5 I had forgotten about. This baby diaper is very thin compared to the Huggies diapers but my supply of Huggies is getting low and I don't want to have to shop this coming weekend (read: crazy) so I used the Up and Up diaper as a stuffer during the day. Early afternoon I had to change the used stuffer. So today I'm trying 2 of the thinner baby diapers to see how they will work. I always wear plastic pants with my diapers and over the years I have found that if any leaks occur they have always been contained within the plastic pants whether during the day or at night.
  4. I use Walgreens Well Beginnings baby powder at every diaper change and Desitin diaper rash cream, as needed, both the blue and white colored tubes. Mostly the baby powder is all I need. My skin is pretty tough. A warm washcloth is all I ever use for cleaning.
  5. I have been 24/7 for almost 7 years. I change my diapers on average twice daily. Every blue moon it will be three times. I wear ATNs and Size 5 Huggies Little Movers. This combination has been very effective for me and my cost is only $2 per day, total. I use baby powder with every change and I wear plastic pants with my diapers. I thoroughly clean myself at every change so I very seldom ever develop any rash. I don't see the need to wear expensive ABDL diapers just to piss them away. Here is the "when I was your age" BS. But when I was your age my raging hormones would cause me to want to purge everything once the deed was done. The amount of time before I would want another diaper varied. But I knew at a young age that diapers were something I wanted. I was able to wear diapers in my early teens and I have never looked back. Am I addicted? More like conditioned. Those of us here who are of my generation went through a lot just to find products we could wear and use. We couldn't go 'on line' to get what we wanted. We had to buy things face to face or through mail order if we could find it. And don't worry about finding that "special someone", they are out there. I'm coming up on 40 years married. My advice, if diapers are a part of you, embrace it. You will only get to live once. Life is too short to wonder 'what if...'. OP, only you can decide what is right for you. We, who have traveled ahead of you, can only relate our stories and experiences. But you can pick and choose 'the best of' and try to avoid "the worst of'. Choose wisely.
  6. No. 24/7 is 24/7 winter, spring summer or fall. Kinda catchy, someone should write a tune.... oh wait. LOL.
  7. A combination that has worked well for me is Tranquility ATNs and Huggies size 5 Little Movers. I wear 24/7 and most often I only change twice per day, morning and evening, and both diapers absorb well and the ATN holds its shape nicely. I also wear plastic pants over my diapers. I have OAB and UI so my diapers get a pretty good "work out" each day. Another bit of good news is I have found places to buy my diapers where my total cost per 24 hours is right at $2. It's nice to have so many options and you will receive many great ideas for you to try. I'm sure you will find a combo that is right for you.
  8. I was a baby of the early '50s. I would guess Curitys and I don't know what brand of plastic pants.
  9. @Crinklz Katas the old saying goes, whenever I get the urge to exercise I just lay down until it goes away.
  10. How was your diapered weekend.
  11. 24/7 is 24 hours a day/7 days a week not I wore diapers 24/7 over the weekend.
  12. To each his own for everyone. I have never thought of 24/7 diapers as a race to incontinence. I am at the 6.5 year mark of 24/7 diapers. My wearing diapers and plastic pants began in 1965. My regular bedwetting did not begin until 2008 and my 24/7 didn't start until early 2013. There were many times during early 24/7 that I wondered if I was doing the right thing. But my daytime control was waning as my UI was growing. I was also diagnosed with OAB so my strike count was not in my favor. I also wondered if I had reached the 'point of no return'. I recently had to collect all my urine during a 24 hour period. I peed 32 times during the collection period. We have a bathroom at home that is 16 steps away from my office and there were times I barely made it to collect before I would begin to pee. I don't recall ever knowing that I've peed without feeling it, but I know I have peed without remembering. I often get the signal to pee just before it happens. As others have said, we all have to do what is right for each of us. Self doubt is natural. I know that I belong in diapers and plastic pants, I feel I've always known. I don't know if I have true incontinence but I know I'm diaper dependent.
  13. We may not correct their homework but it is ok to copy off of someone's paper who does it correctly.
  14. I wore diapers and plastic pants 24/7 the last 6.5 years I worked. No one ever asked.
  15. I have recently retired and spent the last 6+ years in diapers at work. I had a time sensitive job that required me to maintain a schedule with very little to no time for potty breaks. Over the years my bladder has steadily gone down hill. At first, I could hold off for several hours before I would wet. As time went on I would have to pee earlier and earlier into my shift until at the end I was sometimes wetting more than once an hour. Much of the time I was working more than 10 hours a day which would really tax my diapers. Occasionally I would leak but we wore black pants so that helped conceal the wetness. Not long ago I had 3 leaky days in a row and that helped me to consider retirement. Wearing diapers to work was not challenging, no one ever said anything to me. But it did contribute to my diaper dependency. It did help my bladder shrink. I wet myself around 15 times per day, there is no way I could not wear diapers 24/7. 24/7 and/or wearing to work is not for everyone, but it is for me. As was said before, go for it, we only live once.
  16. These are not the "Golden Years" they are the "Rusty Years".
  17. ATN w/Huggies Little Movers stuffer and Leakmaster plastic pants
  18. I recently started to "fluff" up my diapers and it really helps. I wear ATNs and I gently knead the peach mat padding until it softens and becomes more absorbent. I use a Huggies size 6 for a soaker and I also "fluff" that too. I also sleep on my side, but maybe more toward my stomach so the baby diaper is catching my pee. I wet heavily during the night and any capacity leaks are caught in my plastic pants. It has been a long time since I have had any leaks that wet my bedding. This seems to work well for me.
  19. I am entering my 54th year of diapers and plastic pants. My 11th year of nightly diapers and my 7th year of 24/7. This morning, as I was changing my soaked night diaper, I realized how natural it has become to remove my wet diapers and change into dry diapers and slip on my plastic pants and go about my day. I'll be 67 this summer and I no longer care if others find out I use/need diapers. I no longer play sports so no one has to see me changing clothes. I haven't been swimming in years and I don't go out in the sun without a shirt, but I do wear shorts. As Mark said, 'The most important thing is to love yourself and accept it is okay to desire wearing diapers.' My only stumbling block is I've yet to wear to my doctor.
  20. I, also, have started to soften my diapers by stretching and kneeding them them to loosen the padding and making them more absorbable. I saw a video by a couple that does this and it really fluffs the diaper up and makes it softer to wear.
  21. Yep, I just crossed the 6 year threshold and wish I had started sooner.
  22. I wear 24/7. I use 2 ATNs and 2 Huggies size 6 baby diapers per day at a cost of about $93/month. Like @dlnoir I buy as I need. I also use plastic pants with my disposables so there is some additional cost per year. I get my ATNs from Diaper Buys and my plastic pants from Mountain View, both have fantastic pricing.
  23. ... when you have been legal to drink twice as long as it takes to be legal to drink.
  24. They are the best I've used since Comcos
  25. Once the urge hits the need to go is immediate. That's why I wear 24/7. Like the OP I restrict the flow but I don't try to stop it, I can't.
