I've had the uncomfortable experience of being in a conversation with someone (an ex-boyfriend, in fact) who had become aware of ABDL and thought it was disturbing. In a nice twist, I was sitting next to him diapered while we were talking about this (I'd never told him of my desires, and we were broken up but still friends at time of our talk) I'd like to say that I was bold and told him off for his closed-mindedness, but unfortunately I took the easy way out and changed the subject.

wetvinyl's got it. Random guys in diapers don't do much for me. I don't seek out pictures of guys wearing just to look. However, the right guy in a diaper could be absolutely wonderful if the two of us had a connection. It's the same with any guy I date--he's always the most handsome guy in the room for me, regardless of whether anyone else agrees or disagrees.

I lost my virginity at 19 and I don't regret it. I'm glad I waited until then, as I don't think my 15 or 16-year old self would have been prepared for the emotional side of being sexually active. I had a good experience, and the guy is still one of my best friends in the world. I don't think there's anything wrong with being sexually active before marriage and I also don't think there's anything wrong with waiting until you're married or with the person that you will be with forever. It's a very personal decision and I wish more people would take it seriously and find the time that's right for them.

I have one older sister. We attended the same elementary, jr. high and high schools, and had many of the same teachers. However, she was 7 years older so any opinions they might have had about her performance had certainly faded by the time I came along. My sister was never very "academic" and didn't ever enjoy school. I was the exact opposite; read at 3, skipped grades in several subjects and always had high grades. I finished a Master's Degree last spring and always found school to be enjoyable and often too easy. My sister dropped out of college and has a job in sales (which she loves).

I've taken many of them out of the case/bag and put into a large Rubbermaid container, so it's harder for me to do a real number count. I'd estimate I have between 125-150 right now. That's a rough count, and I'd actually almost guess I have more. I do tend to stockpile, plus the frugal girl in me prefers to save money and buy by the case.

I love Risk! I used to have day-long tournaments. Monopoly is good, so is Scrabble, and I kick ass at Trivial Pursuit.

I love my Jumpin' Jammerz. They're super soft and have plenty of room for putting diapers underneath.

[oh, and just as a footnote to diapergirl80, he is never busy enought to add new pictures to the board and tune the board up, but he never makes time to talk to people or answer his emails. Without the visitors to the board and site, it would fail. Members are the key, not pictures. Hey, you have an excellent point. I won't argue with you there. But I have a feeling it's a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" sort of situation. So imagine DD starts spending more time answering emails and less time posting pictures. Soon we'd have people complaining about him not fixing the board and not posting pictures. Different people want different things from him. The chat room is obviously causing some problems, and those issues need to be addressed in some way. I hope there is an amicable solution for all.

Maybe the guy is busy? He does have a few other things to do besides be babysitter in the chat room.

I just finished Saving Fish From Drowning by Amy Tan and found it quite nice. Now it's on to Guns, Germs and Steel.

Just a couple of comments. Keep the soap away from the vaginal area--it will cause irritation. Many bubble baths can also lead to bladder infections or yeast infections. Pick something mild and not heavily perfumed. For the inside of the tub, you could line it with a fluffy towel so she has something cushy to sit on. Johnson and Johnson makes a line of "Bedtime" baby products that have a light lavender scent. I think they're quite nice, and they're "adult-smelling" enough that you can use them anytime. They have lotion and baby oil and powder in this scent. It sounds like you are a very serious Daddy! Your girl is lucky to have someone like you. I don't think it would hurt to talk to your little one and see what she would like as part of her experience.

This is JUST a guess, but the reason that the people at Depend are so "tightassed" about ABDL is probably because it's an incontinence website/board, and some people don't appreciate ABDLs posting long elaborate fantasies about wearing diapers, or getting off on the incontinent peoples' medical conditions. Not to say there aren't incontinent people who enjoy their diapers, but I don't think it's such a bad thing that the medically incontinent who want nothing to do with fetish should have their own space. Why do we feel the need to invade every board that has any remote connection to ABDL? Seems a bit unnecessary.

I sorta took the original "rant" differently. I think of it this way--if a person wants a relationship with diapers involved, they should get off their proverbial ass and make it happen. I wear Molicare Supers under pants all the time, and no one has ever said a word to me about wearing a diaper.

I tried adult diapers once at age 20 and I was underwhelmed, but I really started wearing a lot/all the time at 23. I started after a bad breakup--I figured I wouldn't be dating anyone for awhile and I could go ahead and try it, just for a little bit. I haven't stopped.
