This has certainly raised an interesting question in my mind. Our old church, which is very popular for weddings definately does not have a toilet (or running water for that matter). We about to install one for the first time in 900 years in an outbuilding if we can get planning permission. Any one who needs to go simply goes behind a bush - but I certainly wonder what brides and bridesmaids would do as they can't easily hide themselves away.

Hi I am not incontinent but the reason I wear nappies is I need to make frequent visits to the bathroom which can be very inconvenient at times. Therefore my aim is to make my nappies last as long as possible. I usully change when they start to get uncomfortable which varies on the type of nappy I am using. If I am at home I use the toilet in the usual way but the nappy enables me to reduce the frequency of visits. In this case one nappy will last me for 24hrs or more. If I am going out I use one nappy for the period of time I am out. For home use I use a baby nappy with extended tapes which I find are really comfortable and very absorbent. If I am going out a few hours and I expect to need to wet my nappy I will use a baby nappy with plastic pants on top. A single nappy should last me about 5 hours provided I use the toilet before going out. If I am out all day I double up with a baby nappy inside and that should last me ten hours. I always wear my ordinary underwear over my nappy to absorb any leaks and to hold it in place Richard

The big positive about nappies is the convenience. I need to go to the loo quite frequently and they have proven so useful. No need to try an find public toilets in strange towns or to have get out of your seat at the cinema when you need to go. You just go exactly where and when you need to. I just wish they could develop ones that are airtight then I could poop in them as well when I'm out - that would be really useful. I have been out all day to day and I just did not have think where the nearest toilet was, apart from once when I needed to poop

I regularly wear Pampers size 6 (not that I am a girl) I extend the tapes and they work wonders and whats more they are so cheap LOL

Why do people have to post unhelpful comments? I find various diapers are better at controlling odours than others as some have special odour blocking chemicals in them. I always where plastic plants over mine and I never notice a smell until I take the plastic pants off - I do wonder whether other people cn smell things though which makes me worry abit when I am wet when out with my friends or sitting on a bus or train Richard

I am now getting really used to wearing nappies when I am going to be out for some time. I initially started wearing them as a fettish but now their practicality is more important. I was out all day on Saturday and had a nappy on with a baby nappy inside, and palstic pants over the top. It was great to be able to be out from 8am to 5pm and not to have to think about finding a toilet or even needing a nappy change. I really realised how useful there are when a guy stopped his car opposite and asked if I knew where there was a public toilet! I replied that I didn't think there was one nearby. I even now wear them when I am out with friends as I really don't think they are very noticeable, but I only wet them when I must when in company and if convenient I will use the toilet as I don't use a baby nappy inside as it might make me look very bulky. I wish I could be nappied at night but can't be as I don't manage to get to sleep when I have them on as I get to "turned on" by them when I am in bed. It would be good to hear you nappy experiences if you wear them for convenience. Have fun Richard

Yes - but would you wear a very thick diaper under trousers. I have no problem doing that in my free time as I wear loose fitting trousers, but it would be noticeable under my work trousers Regards Richard

I think that is very brave - I went on my nappies once on a train, but luckily it was fairly emplty and I was getting off at the next station. I went to clean up as quickly as I could but that spoils it because that is a lot of effort and I am essentially lazy as well. It is lazyness that makes me wear nappies as I don't want to break off what I am doing when I am out and go and search for a public toilet. When I need to poop when I am out which is more often than I would like, I do go to the public loo though which is not a pleasant experiece Richard

Do you poop them in public as well or just when you are at home. I have pooped mine occasionally in public but I have always felt I needed to clean up straight away which rather defeats the object. I really hate being in a poopy nappy but I love the actual pooping !

Hi I am not seriously planning to wear diapers to work, but the reason I would want to is for convenience. The idea of being in a long meeting and just being able to wet when I want to sounds great. I usually wear them whenever I go out for any length of time just in case I need them - but I rarely do. What I do find is that you can relax your bladder when it starts to fill so you don't have to concentrate on holding it because I know it doesn't matter the slightest if I have an accident Richard

Hi I was wondering who here wears nappies/diapers to work. If so what work do you do and how do you manage your nappies. I haven't dared to wear one to work yet Richard

I usually wear diapers whenever I go out, largely for convenience. I was just wondering if any of you who have to use them for wetting only, use them occassionally for pooping for convenience. I do not use mine for pooping as I hate the feeling and the cleanup and am afraid people would notice the smell - it would be very convenient at times though! Richard

It is very temting to go poo poo, especially if you are out and you suddenly need to go urgently. I do so occassionally but I always regret it afterwards. I keep thinking people can smell me and it can be so horrible to clean up afterwards. I wish they could make plastic pants that contained odour as well as I would find it such a benefit to just be able to go whenever I need too

I wear nappies for convenience whenever I go out for any length of time. It is such a nuisance going in search of a public toilet in a strange town - it wastes so much time !. I also wear them when shopping locally as it is a nuisance to try and go whilst holding bags of shopping. I usually wear my ordinary underware and plastic pants over the top to prevent leaks. Just as well yesterday, as I was out for 8 hours and did all my wetting in my nappy. by the time I got home the nappy was saturated and my underware had soaked up all the leaks. Just as well I had plastic pants on over the top. I also wear nappies when I go to the cinema etc. It means I don't have to control my fluid intake Ruchard

Do you you think there is anything about wanting to completely hide your male parts - with a diaper on you see them less. I understand when children first come out of diapers they begin to take an interest in what they have down there. If they don't like what they see perhaps they want to go back into diapers.
