It wasn't long at all for me because the disorder that happened to me in my mid 30's and it happened to me like overnight left me incontinent and with other side effects. So I went from one day in my mid 30's from driving a car, working, being able to use the toilet, being able to walk without being off balance to the next day when this Rare Neurological disorder hit me to losing all of that and even some more as well as having horrible head pain chronically. To top it all off my official diagnosis did not come until years later because the doctors couldn't really figure exactly what was going on with me. But to answer the question, right after this came on I started going both pee and poo with no control and having to completely rely on a diaper. Needless to say I was quite confused and frustrated for some time.

So very true. ? When I am out in public I don't really care what other people think or see in me or the lifestyle that I am leading. They can look at the babyish type of clothes I wear all they want, they don't have to wear them and I am enjoying them so why is it bothering them. I am not pushing them on them. Them same thing is if they overhear my mommy talking to me like a baby. It comforts me when she talks to me like a baby. It is none of their business and it really isn't bothering them and we don't shout it all over the place. I also would never do certain things out in public like wear a snap crotch onsie or just a diaper in public.

It is definitely much comfort and security in wearing the diapers. I love the feeling.

At first I hated it. The feeling of it and the smell of it was so icky. Now as I embraced the whole baby aspect of it it is a normal thing because it is exactly what a baby does. I have been out at the store with my mommy in my wheelchair and messed in my diaper and I know the smell could be smelled by others. It really didn't even phase me at all. Mommy just took me to the restroom and changed and cleaned me up. I am used to it now. Most of the time when I am out I only go pee pee , but I really never know when a poo poo will sneak in.

Nope, she is not my wife. She is a very good friend who I met who like I said also had disabilities although totally different then mine and she eventually became my mommy.

I agree that diapers are expensive, but being completely incontinent to both bladder and to bowel it just comes for me . I really don't get any warning or contractions or any of that. It just starts coming and fills my diaper at any time.

I just woke up from my morning nap and my diaper was filled with poo poo. I am now in a fresh dry diaper feeling all baby clean. ?

Oh Boy, I just woke up from my morning nap, got my diaper changed out of a messy diaper and all these questions to answer. ??? There are a few times we do have adult discussions, but no we do not have sex. We are not physically attracted to each other in that way. We certainly have an emotional attraction to one another , but not a physical attraction. So we are strictly mommy and baby. Yes I do have a baby nursery with a crib like bed(it is a regular queen sized bed with high siding on each side like a crib. I have my toys in there and yes my diapers are out in full display. I don't have any friends and my mommy really only has one friend and they know about our lifestyle. Both my parents have passed away and I don't have any other close family or any family that I even speak to. My mommy doesn't speak to her parents anymore due to childhood trauma she received. I almost always use BetterDry Diapers with a booster pad unless I am waiting for a delivery then I am put in a pull up for a day or two with a booster pad until the BetterDry Diapers arrive. I don't have a changing table, but I do have a changing mat or shall I say a yoga mat(that is what it really is. ? It works though. I hope I answered all the questions.

Under what circumstances did you decide to go into diapers 24/7?For me back in my mid 30's I started getting horrendous and debilitating head pain which left me with bladder and bowel incontinence among other things. This really frustrated me in the beginning because the doctors could not really pinpoint what was really going on with me. All I knew was I was having to wear diapers 24/7. Then finally after several years the doctors diagnosed me with a very rare neurological migraine disorder. This diagnosis at least brought clarity to everything and the reason I was in diapers and feeling like a baby. So I began to embrace them and also embracing the feelings of feeling like a baby in them and I started acting more like a baby and wearing more babyish clothing and doing more babyish thing like sucking on a pacifier. Then down the road further I met a women who is also disabled with a totally different disability and she became my roommate and eventually my mommy. How long have you been in diapers? It has been 10 years now Do you still own any underwear? If not, how long has it been since you owned underwear? No, Oh lord it certainly has been over 5 years since I have had any underwear. Do you use your diapers and the toilet, or do you use your diapers exclusively? I just use diapers because I am fully incontinent. Since starting 24/7, have you had to make changes or improvements in response to practical pressures you didn't foresee? e.g., switching diaper brands, changing up your wardrobe, etc.? Not really since this is incontinence related for me. I need the diapers. Are there any circumstances under which you would definitely leave diapers? No, because I can't as I am incontinent. Do you think you could easily leave diapers immediately, assuming for some reason you had to? I cannot leave diapers because of my disorder. The only way I could is if the doctors reversed the issues I had. For people who aren't untraining, have you had to deal with unexpected continence loss regardless? Since my mid 30's I have had a medical disorder that has left me incontinent to both bladder and bowel.

Congratulations!!!! Not only the feeling of waking up in a wet diaper feels wonderful, but also getting a great nights sleep without waking to pee is wonderful. I am incontinent due to a rare medical neurological disorder so I have been experiencing that feeling for quite some time now and it is incredible.

There are a few times where I wear a pull up with a booster pad when I am waiting for a new delivery of my BetterDry Diapers. I like diapers much better though.

In the ABDL lifestyle I am a 9 month old baby. My mommy disciplines me this way. She uses the word "NO" a lot. She also redirects me by having me move to another location or do something else. She also re-enforces that she loves me and she is just trying to keep baby safe and not hurt. She is not too strict, but enough to get her point across. She is also firm in the tone of her voice when she uses words like "NO", "HOT" , "SHARP". She never shames or criticizes me or hits me. She is always consistent and when I do something good she will praise me.

The only times I am completely naked are when my mommy is bathing me, changing me clothes, or has me on the changing mat(yoga mat) for a diaper change. I love having my diaper on and using them as well as wearing my babyish clothing.

My mommy and I have never tried or discussed breastfeeding. Although this definitely would bring a huge baby/mommy bond between us, I am not completely sure if this is crossing the non sexual boundaries that we have. It might be something that we could discuss and if it is not fully embraced by both of us then we would just leave it alone. Right now I get Three 8 Ounce Baby Formula bottles a day and that brings a huge connection to being a baby to me.

This is really tough. I love both the feeling of a dry/fresh diaper and a wet/bulky diaper. I guess I will vote for a dry diaper because there are other aspects that come with that as well like getting cleaned with wipes, the diaper rash cream, powdered, and baby lotion. The whole experience makes me smell like a baby.

My actually size is Large , but I purchase the XL BetterDry because they tend to run on the small size.
