I watch Desperate Housewives religiously. Does that count? The early years were the best. DVRs are the best but lacking that a VCR can eliminate the frustration of the incessant commercials . Money is an issue for me these days so I switched from cable to satellite and the DVR makes the lack of programming tolerable. Anondl

It is not a matter of pompous or arrogant. I have some sweatpants. They are very comfortable. I don't wear them outside of my home. It is a matter of presentation. I know some of our members have motor or cognitive issues but that does not excuse the others who don't know the difference between "too" and "to" and "there" and "their". I could go on. Nuff said. I doubt that doctors really use the DSM as a treatment guide as suggested by said news reports. What I got out of what I read was, neurosis is not a "disorder" unless the subject's life is adversly affected. Same thing they said in DSM 4. I wish mainstream news would pay more attention to medicine and science but this story is not worthy of the hype. Anondl

Those skills were absent in my day too. (Long before texting had reared its ugly head.) I never was a 4.0 student but I knew how to spell and the rules of grammar. The generations that follow us will be mourning lost literacy just as we do now. I too spend a lot of time checking my posts for errors before submitting them. Anondl

I like the baby who does stock trading. There's a series of these spots going back 2-3 years. My absolute favorite is when he's in a golf course locker room and he calls his golf pal "shankopotumus". Anondl

We are both old enough to remember cloth diapers just out of the dryer. I was 30 when disposable adult diapers first emerged. Till then it was cloth and putting one on just out of the dryer was heaven. Great you have found a way to do this with disposables. Anondl

Re: naked peeing outdoors. Wow, from the original post I thought this was going to be a whole different discussion. I remember camping as a kid and what a great joy it was to pee in the woods. I liked it especially when I could pull down my jeans and underwear and point my stream anywhere, and the breeze cooling my naked butt and sac. Sorry, drifted off for a second. Anondl

I bought the DSM IV when it first came out. After reading the fetishism section numerous time I still don't understand thier definition of fetishism. They mention infantilism and diaper wearing under masochism, 302.83 which only applies to some AB/DLs. Anondl

From what I can tell by meeting very few toddlers, their goal in life is to be grown up and self directing. They even measure it by 1/2 years. i.e. "I'm 2 and 1/2" or "I'm 3 and 1/2". Maybe this idea carries with us thru all of our lives. If you don't believe me try calling a 2 and 1/2 year old a "baby". They will be insulted. This lifelong persuit of the idea of being grown up is why diapers on babies are accepted, on the infirm are tolerated, on anyone else are shunned. Diapers are the essence of being dependent and not having control of ones life. I think that given the option 99.9999999% of incontinent people would rather be continent. Anondl
