  1. In Kindergarten we had a bathroom in the back of the class we could use whenever we needed to. But in First Grade we had to leave the classroom and ask permission to do so. I had some trouble adjusting to that and went through a spate of accidents. One time after class one of the girls found a puddle under a chair and reasoned that it either must have been me or another boy who had the same issue. I was like "Hey! I haven't done that in a long time," but it was probably like two weeks or something.
  2. There used to be a show on Nickelodeon called You Can't Do That on Television that was packed with diaper references. To the extent that I"m pretty sure one of the writers must have been an ABDL. There are a few that stick out in my memory. It was mostly a sketch comedy show with host segments and sketches playing off some sort of theme for the episode. One sketch I remember had a kid and his girlfriend having dinner with his parents. They keep embarrassing him. It builds up until his mother says something along the lines of "It feels like only yesterday I was changing him into a clean diaper and tucking him into bed... a wait it was yesterday." There was a running gag that anybody who said water would get water dumped on them. One sketch opened with a girl in bed shouting to her mother for a glass of water. She gets soaked with water. The mother enters with a glass of water chastising her since she's supposed to be big enough to get a glass a water herself before seeing she's soaked and accusing her of wetting the bed saying "I'm going to have to put you back into diapers." They also had a segment call "The Opposite Sketches" where life was portrayed as being the opposite of what is was. One started with one kid showing his family photo album to another kid. At one point he points out a picture of himself in diapers and says it was taken last week. The other kid gets upset since he's bragging about having a mom who still puts him in diapers at night. The first kid reveals that he's wearing a diaper right then and there and starts showing off. Sometimes the opposite sketches would end in the middle of a sketch and reality would switch back around, that happened here so the other kid started making fun of him. The main point of the show was that it was supposed to be poking fun at everyday things kids encounter. That left me with the distinct impression that it must be fairly common for kids to get put in diapers for wetting the bed or maybe just because their parents liked it that way. Really drove a lot of early fantasies.
  3. It's pretty clear that they don't see Pull-Ups and Goodnites as catering to overlapping markets. One is for toilet trained children who wet the bed and the other is for children who are still in toilet training. So I suppose the aim is to appeal to larger preschoolers or children who are otherwise not developmentally 6 to 7 years-old. It is noteworthy though.
  4. Probably missing something but I don't see how this hints at larger sizes.
  5. I had some health problems when I was 2 that caused my parents to put off actively training me. I went ahead and trained myself though, a little late for the time but nothing crazy. So I don't really have any potty training associated trauma myself, nor was I reluctant potty user. But at some point when was still very young I started thinking how nice it would be to be babied like that again. I didn't really see it as a realistic option, so I just fantasized about ways it could happen. And here I am.
  6. I 100% remember this. First time I knew I wasn't the only one. Donahue was better than Springer, not great, but definitely better. Still though, knowing I wasn't alone was awesome. Very brave of these people to go on TV back then.
  7. My mom tried to get me a babysitter for a school break when I was 13 and it was one of the very few times I really got crosswise with her. I guess it would be a fantasy now but in real life as an actual young teen I was just not going to go along with that. I knew I could handle myself for a couple hours and I just wanted a little bit of freedom. My dad agreed with me so she eventually let it go.
  8. Don't know why I didn't see this before now. But I absolutely loved this story. Nice and sweet. A total pleasure to read.
  9. Regularly until I was 3. My mom put a diaper on me sometime after that. I'm pretty sure I was 4. I'd had a few accidents and I guess she just thought it was worth some extra precaution. No Pull-Ups back then, so it was the only option. It was just for part of the day until I went to bed. I didn't use it. Didn't get changed. And was never put back in diapers again.
  10. Started out in cloth and then my parents switched to Pampers once they got good/cheap/common enough for regular use at the end of the 70s.
  11. I wrote a story that might fit what you're looking for. Diapers aren't exactly normal, but circumstances make it something everybody sees as normal. Also has a Sci-Fi theme which you may be interested in. It's called The Error. It's on these forums here:
  12. Yes, I remember this and somehow returning to that state is a big fantasy for me.
  13. I've found two-thousand words to be a decent chapter length. More importantly, I'd like the reader to be able to say "This is the chapter where X happens." Feels a little more satisfying to read something that's some sort of cohesive whole rather than just an arbitrary snippet of a larger story. Sometimes that means a shorter chapter, sometimes that means a longer one.
  14. I feel like posting it here kind of commits me to continuing it, which I'm not really prepared to do. It's on other websites though.
  15. There's one I started called The Potion. About an 18 year-Old who mistakes an age regression potion his mother had been developing for an alcoholic drink. The regression effects are sort of all over the place so he's ends up in a 7 year-old body but it has more dramatic effects on his continence and emotional regulation. Don't bother looking for it, it's gone. The laptop I wrote it on bit the dust in spectacular fashion and I only ever posted it to one long-gone forum. I do regular back ups now.
