The shipping label sits. Nobody has even thought about the order yet.

Alas....the waiting is the hardest part....

Then Amazon shipped me something, I tracked it to the local terminal where it said it was being "returned to shipper because it was damaged."   I contact Amazon.  Their robot tells me that the order is cancelled and if I still want it, I can reorder, so I do.    The next day the supposed "damaged" item shows up (in perfect condition) and I gotta go return the second one I ordered (It was just a book so no big thing, but it took a trip to the UPS store in town).

I can understand the "label printed" dodge when it spits out midday and the item does get picked up by the carrier that evening.   But it galls me when I'm stuck in label printed for weeks.

Another fun one is getting a notice at 2AM or on a Sunday that your package has shipped via USPS.

I ded receive a package from Temu last Sunday. They shipped via UPS, and UPS dumped it onto the local post office, which is odd because I've received UPS packages here several times. Apparently the local PO does normally do packages on Sunday.
