I can get about 5 hours of slow drip with about 3 full wettings (not floodings) before they start to leak, and I get them in Medium for $1.40/diap after tax on the Medline At Home site. They're like slightly less comfy MegaMax Airs with about half the capacity.

The reason I ask is because when I first began wearing diapers myself, I found out that what I was using was the bottom of the barrel compared to what we have available now. I was using the prevail air diapers, whereas now I'm using the mega Max diapers. If we had a listing like this, people would be able to ask what the top ten diapers are, and we would be able to point them to somewhere that has a list. Of course this will be subjective, but the higher the deeper on the list, the better quality it should be, which will help people make and informed decision. Of course, that decision can also be driven by the community itself responding within the thread. Just an observation......... Brian 2

Brian I love the idea...you have more experience on the site as to the best way to get this list...is it a simple survey? If we can figure out how to get that list, I can easily create the pricing table by supplier of kinds. Or, alternatively, we can "tag" the entries in a bigger list as "DD Preferred" or something like that?

Of course someone would have to be in charge of maintaining the list and also in making sure any changes in the list are updated. Since there are so many diapers out there, we would have to all agree on say a maximum of maybe 25. Then we end up breaking that down into the top 10, the top five, and then the top choice. That way if someone asks us a question and says " what is your favorite diaper, I'd like to know what you all think" of course we all have our favorites, but if we could agree that there are 25 diapers that we would like, and then rank that from 1 to 25, then rank the top 10 from 1 to 10, we could show the top 25. We could always show the ones that we don't like because they don't work calling like for example maybe the prevail air or something that is not worse the time or the expense to even try. This way people don't waste their time trying to get ahold of certain companies that sell these diapers, which aren't really diapers but they are tabbed underwear. We could then put a list online, and have either Mikey or one of the other admins pin that. When you do your price changes, you could also put a column in there that says daily diapers use their rank: and then put that number. I wouldn't want you to do more than 25 at the Max because that is a pain in the neck, but it'll be up to you to decide how many you think we should do. I'm thinking top ten and then anything else would just be listed. But it would be up to you to decide what you think would be appropriate. However I do think that it would be a good idea to have a top ten list of all the diapers that we all like, so that people will know what a diaper is, versus a bounty paper towel at the bottom of the list. Then we could put something similar like maybe the golden double D or something: the highest ranked typer gets the golden double ? that way that designation is specific to a diaper that has been something that we all can agree is a good diaper.Not sure how we would do that yet , but that's the idea. If we have a price list , we should have a popularity list that all of our users rank . we'll have to talk to Mikey on this one, because it would require an admin to do some of this Colin all we would really have to do is make sure that the diapers we list her listed from one to 10, with honorable mentions from 11 to 25. We can also mention the top ten worst ones, so they know which ones not to purchase period of course there are going to be individuals they're gonna love the cloth back to diapers, there are gonna be ones that love the pull-ups, or whatever they use, so we could get the information by placing it I believe in a list, and then we count the votes. However, when we do a poll, I'm not sure if we can do 25 choices, maybe 10, but then we would have to be able to count the votes effectively so that somebody isn't double voting, similar to when people used to like their own posts. This would contaminate the vote cycle, so you wouldn't really get a real idea of popularity. How we would do the list would probably be in a spreadsheet format similar to what you have here: I still am learning the new 2019 version of excel, but if we are able to post this information in a way that is really easy to maintain, and I mean that it should be easy to maintain, then we should have no problem period I'm also looking out for Mikey here, because anything that we put online would be something that he would have to monitor and take care of, in addition to whatever he does. You would probably have people who would take care of that for him, and he would have to make the decision as to whom he would like to have that responsibility, and I do agree that we should have a top ten lists: especially since we always seem to get questions about what the best diaper is, or the best (insert question about product here) and because this is a subjective answer, it would be nice to be able to see what everybody thinks about particular diapers or particular products. However: I don't know how we would do that: if we end up making a list, we would have to list it somehow, and then update it, using voting as the reason. If we have a list of top 10s, those top 10s should be listed, and then someone can actually talk about each of the top ten diapers. I don't know if this would require us to have another forum, or if it's something that we can add as a way to allowed discussion period it'd probably be easier to list all 10 diapers, or all 25, and then link to a comment section on each. Each time somebody makes a decision on a top 10, it is marked and we change it has necessary, but we don't want to cause major headaches doing this, which is my concern. I am sure that Mikey would have his take on this, and could give his opinion and guidance, but I think it would be an awesome idea: that way people can see hopefully in real time, what everyone's favorite top 10s are especially when diapers are the most important piece. brian @DailyDi
