day trip

Usually these days just to the casino's in the area with a friend.  Maybe about an hour or an hour and a half drive but we can spend 3+ hours there, especially if there are 2 or 3 casino's on the way. That can take 6 or 7 hours.  When I was a teen and into my 20's we would take a couple day trips as a family.  I live in Southwest Michigan and once a year at Christmas we would leave early on a Saturday morning, drive to Chicago and either go downtown to Marshall Fields and other stores or we would go to the suburbs and shop at the big malls and shopping centers for Christmas.  We would often get home around midnight.  Sometimes we would take a day trip to the Bronner's Christmas Store in Frankenmuth and spend the day in the town and store and have the famous chicken dinners.  We'd get home again close to midnight.

I'm limited by inability to walk far (back issue) so haven't been venturing out much. I'd like to make a trip to Babyland General Hospital but I am waiting for that mythical time when I have enough money to be able to adopt a handmade softie kid.

Do you use back braces or shock treatment? It might help you out. It does with the parent.

My day trips is driving on roads I haven't driven, to find shortcuts and hidden places.

I find a lot of nice places far from home, but none close to me.
Places I can be outside in just a diaper without anyone seeing me.

I go buy chocolate!   ?  Which usually means my day trips are up to central PA.  Snack food capital of the world!   It's no wonder I can't lose any weight! ?

Keep in mind in areas where there aren't a lot of trees for firewood, people would collect the dried cow chips from their fields and burn them in their wood stoves and fireplaces for heat.  They would even cook over them.

Same here. A friend and I would just cruise around in the county, sometimes purposely getting lost. (There’s a few times where we didn’t know where the hell we were, but we crossed multiple swaths of private property to find our way out.  Lots of fun in a Grand Marquis.)

Not so much nowadays due to having little time off and our schedules are different. I may go get lost in the county by myself when I get my next day off.
